We stayed at Frédéric's for 3 nights. Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated and very clean. The terrace is really the highlight of this apartment. It is also very well located and the waterfront is very quickly accessible on foot.

An ideally located apartment, very well-equipped, recently refurbished. Very good quality furniture, appliances and decorations. Let's talk about the view: breathtaking!!! This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Beautiful Villa in a nice peaceful location

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a great weekend of climbing. Hélène is a very welcoming and considerate host. It allowed us to arrive earlier. The house is very good: bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, there is everything you need. The garden is very nice. There is everything you need nearby, 10 minutes by car (beach, supermarket...). Thanks again Hélène for your smiling welcome. We recommend Hélène's house!

The apartment is in a very good location right in front of the beach and very close to the port and the city center. You can walk everywhere. It is spacious, very well arranged and equipped. Perfect for 6 people without being on top of each other. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking from morning to night. Really a nice place.

Very nice apartment, nice decoration, spacious, 2 very large bedrooms each with its own bathroom Large living room and beautiful, very well-equipped kitchen (appliances and dishes) dishwasher, oven, microwave, hob, washing machine and dryer. Parking space. Sea view and sea 100 m away. Valérie's kindness and her little attention. 5 minutes' walk from the beautiful beach of Pontaillac, its restaurants and shops. Conclusion: it was perfect, you can go there with your eyes closed.
