Cottage holiday rentals in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans votre maison, 4 couples et une personne seule, largement la place pour tout le monde les 2 salles de bain et les 2 wc sont fortement appréciables. La climatisation pour chaque chambre pour le confort de chacun. Un extérieur parfaitement entretenu, la piscine a été fortement apprécié et les grillades autour du barbecue abrité une magnifique idée pour passer à travers les gouttes. Nous recommandons fortement votre location. Nous tenons aussi à remercier votre amie qui nous a accueilli très agréablement vendredi avec le sourire

super maison. la piscine et le jaccuzzi sont super. Jose est très sympa et nous a très bien accueilli. de plus nous avons perdu les clés et leur avons rendu plus tard et les hôtes ont été très compréhensifs. merci mille fois !!

Nous avions choisi l’appartement de Aude pour sa proximité avec l’autoroute, sans toutefois aucun désagrément sonore, l’environnement est très calme. Nous sommes arrivés plus tard que prévu, aux alentours de 22h mais avons été très bien accueilli ! Le logement était conforme aux photos, facile à trouver et Aude à été très réactive. Le lit parapluie était déjà monté. Bref, une petite escale rapide et reposante sur la route des vacances ! Merci encore

Séjour parfait! Logement situé dans un petit village au calme mais néanmoins animé en été et avec toutes les commodités nécessaires(boulangerie, pharmacie, Intermarché tout proche). Emplacement idéal pour les amoureux de l’océan et des ballades en vélos, à mi chemin entre Bordeaux et le Bassin d’Arcachon. Laure est une hôte très avenante et réactive. Un accent supplémentaire sur la propreté serait un plus (les poignées de placards et certains ustensiles étaient sales à notre arrivée). Sinon, tout était top 👍

Cindy was a friendly host and keen to help from the start. The property is in a peaceful location, near the beach and a good base to explore the Arcachon Bay area. Inside is unfussy, comfortable and well equipped for a longer stay. The kitchen, dining and lounge is one space. For 2 people it worked well, though I’m not sure how it would work for groups using the sofa bed as the bathroom and WC is also off this main area. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of space to hang and store clothes. The garden is a nice place to relax and enjoy the sun with plenty of seating options. We didn’t use the hot tub during our stay, but if you like a hot tub, then it’s quite private. We stayed with our small dog and we felt he was safe and secure within the garden throughout our stay. There are many excellent restaurants and bars in the area and a number of them are within very easy walking distance. We would recommend a visit to the oyster cabanes at Andernos-les-Bains.

Excellent séjour. Le gîte est spacieux et confortable. La literie est de très bonne qualité et la cuisine dispose de tout le nécessaire. La décoration du gîte est soignée et jolie et contribue au charme de cette belle maison ancienne. Bénédicte et Jean-Roland sont des hôtes sympathiques et disponibles. Nous avions des petits gâteaux maison et un bouquet de fleurs qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Nous avons également pu recharger le vélo électrique pendant le séjour et stocker les vélos en toute sécurité. Une adresse à retenir.

We hebben enorm genoten met z’n zessen van het huis, de grote tuin met zwembad, de bbq, de grote eettafel buiten, tafeltennistafel en badminton. Een fijne keuken met alle voorzieningen, gezellige slaapkamers en boven alles, hele vriendelijke en behulpzame hosts. Het was fantastisch; als het ons lukt dan komen we terug!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison en bord de Dordogne. L'emplacement est idéal, l'environnement calme et paisible, à proximité immédiate de Saint Émilion, Libourne, et de nombreux châteaux et vignobles. La maison est superbe, très confortable, parfaitement équipée, et fidèle à l'annonce en tous points. Pimprenelle et sa famille ont été aux petits soins pour nous, et nous ont donné d'excellents conseils de visites ou de bons restaurants dont nous avons bien profité. Nous recommandons à 100% !

L’appartement est fidèle à la description et très propre. Très bien équipé. La communication avec l’hôte était parfaite. Tout était fidèle ! Je recommande.

Nous étions réunis en famille pour un week-end de Pâques malheureusement très pluvieux. Mais le logement est spacieux, les pièces sont grandes et tout s'est bien passé. Très satisfaits du gîte que nous connaissions déjà , sous un beau soleil et nous avions pu profiter alors du beau jardin, bien équipé.

We were really lucky to have found this place to stay while waiting for our long term rental to be ready. It is a great location, just “around the corner” from Bordeaux. Aurelia is a great host, and truly helped us to get to know the town and the region. My family felt connected to hm the host and her home. Fully recommend. Henrique

Super logement avec une maison nickel et très bien équipée et un jardin superbement entretenu dont nous avons pu profiter pleinement . Emplacement paisible en campagne . Jean Luc et Josiane sont des hôtes adorables qui nous ont très bien accueilli. Merci à eux

La propriété de Janine nous convenait tout à fait. Promenades depuis la propriété, supermarché (très bon) à proximité, pâtissier primé pas trop loin….. Bourg est un endroit magnifique et intéressant et certains des vins de la Côte de Bourg sont exceptionnels. Bien placé pour Blaye - la citadelle, la corniche, le ferry pour traverser la Gironde. La maison est chaleureuse et confortable, mais l'électricité a besoin d'un peu de mise à jour, ce qui, selon nous, se produira dans un avenir proche. Le jardin était parfait pour les chiens et il y a de belles vues depuis le patio qui, par temps chaud, auraient sans doute été contemplées à loisir ! Janine est sympathique et répond rapidement. Nous retournons rarement dans les propriétés mais cela pourrait être une exception ! Un grand merci Janine et - peut-être - à bientôt.

La maison de Romain était parfaite ! Très bien équipée, de plain pied, adaptée aux enfants avec bcp de jeux et jouets, une balançoire… avec le bassin à 5min à pieds et des commerces à proximité également. BBQ, vélos mis à disposition c’était génial. Nous gardons l’adresse car c’est la première fois que nous trouvons une maison qui coche toutes nos cases de critères :) merci à Romain et sa famille. À bientôt peut-être !

Super accueil et grande flexibilité, séjour idéal !

Xavier and Stephanie's house was an excellent house for a family holiday which we just had with our 8 and 9 year olds. It is located down a beautiful quiet road outside Libourne on the banks of the Dordogbe. We used car/bicycle to get very easy access to shops and restaurants. We could cycle to the boulangerie and market in Libourne in the mornings to get fresh food and it was also a very scenic cycle to Saint-Émilion which is just 25 to 30 mins on bike or 10mins by car. The house is really spacious with a big area for the kids to play outside or for anyone to relax or eat on the outdoor seats and furniture. It is really private and peaceful with the lots of birdsong and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Xavier and Stephanie thought of everything in the house. The sheets and towels and kitchen crockery and utensils were of excellent quality. This was one of the best holidays we ever had and we will definitely return in the future. Rose-Marie est très accueillante, nous a donné des conseils pour visiter la région. La situation du gîte est très calme, et l'aménagement extérieur est magnifique. Je recommande.

We hadden een schitterende week met onze 2 kinderen. Op het eerste zicht is er wat weinig te doen, maar op een uur rijden heb je heel veel verschillende activiteiten. Echt alles was beschikbaar in het huis met zeer leuk zwembad en zwemspeelgoed! Karine liet ons als thuis voelen en gaf ons alle privacy. Zeker een aanrader.

We stayed at Nicolas‘ place as a group of four for one week. We felt right at home and the house is nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. There’s one bigger bedroom and a small cozy one which can be separated by a sliding door as to create some form of privacy. The beach and the centre of Lacanau-Océan are in walking distance and Nicolas had some nice tips regarding restaurants and bars for us. We also booked surf lessons through him. All in all, we would absolutely recommend staying at Nicolas‘ place and would come again any time!

Amazing place. Marta and Iain were brilliant, very communicative and very helpful and friendly, recommending local restaurants and gave us some very useful advice about the best times to go to local tourist areas to avoid the crowds. House was spotless, beds were comfortable and the gardens were gorgeous. It is out in the middle of the countryside (approx 40 minutes from Bordeaux) but there is a large supermarket 10 minutes away and within 15/20 minutes you can be in Libourne or St Emillion so you will need a car, but in exchange you get peace, quiet, and great views. After a few days in the busy city it was a very nice and peaceful retreat to relax and recharge. It felt like a home. We definitely want to come back again.
