Nicole and her husband were very kind. We arrived at the accommodation, he was very welcoming. We spent a stay for our trip with a colleague. We were really very comfortable in this accommodation.

We are delighted with our stay at La Garçonnière. Excellent welcome, very warm and attentive. A beautiful, relaxing and conveniently located place. The house is really nice and very well equipped, with an exceptional view of the Loire, we had a great time on the terrace. Importantly, the bedding is of very good quality.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

We are very happy with our stay. We had a warm welcome from Julie with small gifts (cherries and jam) that made us happy. Julie is attentive to customers. The accommodation is impeccable, everything is spotless, there is even a hair dryer which is rare these days. We had a great weekend. We will recommend this place to those around us.

Lovely cocoon in the heart of Saumur in an old building where it is good to live for your Saumur stay. Accommodation furnished with great taste and very well arranged. Hosts are responsive and very attentive. Everything comes together for a great stay.

4 days as a family in this wonderful gite in the red house. The accommodation is very spacious and has a lot of character (classified house), ideally located for walking around Chinon and shining in the area. There are all the necessary amenities, the bedding is comfortable and the apartment tastefully decorated. A welcoming and peaceful accommodation in a pedestrian street of Saumur extremely well located where everything is very accessible. The hosts were lovely and very responsive. I highly recommend their restaurant at the foot of the apartment! I had a great stay for a first time in the area 🤍 Would come back for sure!

Saumur is a super town to visit, and this apartment is a great base, very central to the restaurants and shops, and a short walk up to the castle and other sights, It’s a nice flat as well and a on a quiet road. Anaïs, Joëlle and Pierre were very helpful.

Excellent stay at François's, accommodation both impeccably clean and functional. Quiet neighborhood, easy and secure parking with private parking space. Really nothing to repeat. We had a great stay at Jérémie's. The apartment is located very close to the botanical garden so not far from the city centre. It's a quiet area - no noise during the nights, even with the windows open. Very comfortable, and highly recommended!
