Beachfront holiday rental in Saint Kilda West

We had a lovely stay at Donna's space. It was clean, cozy and comfortable and we felt right at home. Everything that we could have needed for our stay was there, and the proximity to the beach was wonderful. Donna was great at providing us with clear information about check-in and check-out as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Quaint little home in a great location, close to good cafes, restaurants, the beach and a comfortable walk to Albert Park. Andrew was very responsive and easy to communicate with at every stage. We all enjoyed our stay, thank you :)

Olivia’s apartment was exactly as described. Beautifully appointed, cosy apartment in Elwood. Directly opposite the beach and a short walk to public transport, shops and cafes. The apartment was light filled and with considerable space for two people. The bed was very comfortable, and the soundproofing on the windows made for a very quiet room. We stayed for a short weekend, so didn’t make use of the kitchen - but it had a coffee machine, toaster, oven etc and all the things you might need. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

Loved our stay here. Very roomy with everything we needed. Anne was friendly and helpful. The seat at the front window with views across the park and bay towards the city was our favourite spot.

I have stayed at Thackeray many times. it's the perfect location on the beach.. great bike rides... easy to park... close to everything and Alyce is continually upgrading equipment in her home so everything works! highly recommended. a unique place with beautiful character.

Wonderful! Normally hate scorching heat and summer but staying here made me fall in love with it. Stayed for nearly two months while my house was getting renovated and felt like I was on a long extended holiday. The hosts (Lara and Jente) were very helpful and accomodating with everything. Smaller kitchen than what I was used to, but it worked out in the long run and ended up eating cleaner, fresher meals and got fit as a result. Plus being able to have dinner while watching the sun set from the balcony was absolutely heavenly. Will miss that place for sure. Thank you ladies!

We had another great break at Dianne’s place. The time just flew by and we’re now planning our next visit for next year .

Charlie’s place was clean and comfortable to stay in. His fast responses and clear instructions were greatly appreciated and made communication very easy. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful location to stay in! We had a car and the private parking space in the gated area was perfect. We also took public transportation and the tram was a short walk. We did so much on our week long stay, and after a full day of activities it was great to come back to our place. The bathrooms were great, instant hot water with no wait! The beach is just a block or two away, and we gathered a lot of shells to collect, there were millions on the shore! We had a full week including a few day trips. South Melbourne Market and Prahran market were wonderful markets. We drove out to Yarra Valley and did a U Pick fruit tour, we did a small walk at Rainforest Gallery, we did a Funky Farm tour(so cool!), and we even saw the Penguin Parade which is a must do! Some details, what worked best for us was parking the car and then using the key card to go through the passenger gate to get in/out of the front door. There is also a small remote to unlock open/close the car gate. Thanks Gemma!!

Our family of four stayed here for four nights. The beds were super comfortable and the apartment was clean and extremely well set up for a short or longer stay. We loved all the extra touches like the welcome treats and toiletries. It was super handy having a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment is very secure and we loved the location, which is very near to tram stops and a vibrant local area including great cafes and restaurants. There is also a Woolworths metro very nearby. Bring your running shoes if you enjoy running, as there is an excellent 5km loop around the Lake, just across the road. The pool area is amazing, with the most stunning views, lovely tepid water and piping hot rain showers to warm you up if it's a bit cold or windy. Simon and Renee are amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome! We will definitely stay here again next time we come back to Melbourne, as I can't imagine finding another place that ticks so many boxes. Thanks guys!

We had a fantastic stay in this spacious and airy 60's-style apartment, which was perfect for our group of six ladies travelling for a sports event. The apartment had everything we needed—plenty of bedding, towels, pillows, and even extra mattresses. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Sarah, our host, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating from start to finish, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location was ideal and made getting around super easy. We had such a comfortable and enjoyable stay—highly recommended!

A stone throw from the beach, coffee shops, street and train station. Nice spot to relax and unwind. Janelle was helpful very kind. I’ll be staying here again.

Mia place is in a great location, walking distance to beach, off-leash dog parks and main Port Melbourne street full of cafes, shops and pubs. There is also public transport nearby to enable further travel to Melbourne main tourist spots. Highly recommend this Airbnb.

It was a great location - we were going to the Grand Prix and it was within walking distance. The beach was nearby and there were a number of options for eating out. Hannah was a great host and it was easy to stay there.

This was everything we wanted! We were a large group of friends visiting the area for a birthday celebration and to visit wineries. The accomodation fit us all comfortably (as long as you dont mind some bunk beds) and the views from the upstairs loungeroom were magical - think ocean, black swans and beautiful sunsets. We had some trouble getting to the accomm as we came off the ferry and its a 45 min walk. Thought there would be ubers or taxis but there isnt much in the area. Luckily some locals saved us and took us there. Loved our stay and would visit again.

Kate’s apartment has everything you’d need for a long weekend/ a stay for a few days. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is space to relax in the lounge and the location is perfect for walks to the beach or the local shops. Our stay at Beach Hideaway was enhanced by our host Laura's excellent instructions and introduction to the property. Beach Hideaway is a dream of a small property, beautifully fitted out with everything one could need. It was fastidiously clean and attractively appointed. The bedroom, with plentiful cupboards and attractive bed coverings to choose from was very comfortable. The kitchen included all new equipment, large frig freezer, stove top and oven and two person compact dishwasher. Plenty of room in the laundry for a washing machine and dryer. The outside area contained a garden, nice furniture and a barbecue. The property also had off street parking for one car. A step and a hop takes you to Parkdale Beach and the main street shopping strip. We had a thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable time in Beach Hideaway and look forward to a return visit. Oh by the way, we also enjoyed the chocolates Laura kindly left for us!

We used Josephine’s apartment while visiting family in the Aspendale area. It is perfectly located near the station and a few metres back from the beach. The apartment was quiet and well presented and we found it particularly clean too. The apartment also has its own soul and personal decorating touches which made the apartment feel more welcoming and alive. Access is super easy and no fuss as is the building itself to navigate. Would recommend!

Thank you Rosie for sharing your beautiful place. The home is positioned so nicely, right across from Half Moon Bay, and the drive way is set up for easy access on and off of Beach road. The outdoor space is huge and lovely. And the home, is set up perfectly to move right in and feel at home. Fabulous amenities and well equipped kitchen. Thank you Rosie!!!
