This home offered more than just a place to sleep; it provided an experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the sunrise and sunset. Each morning/night the windows framed a breathtaking spectacle of colors, transforming the room into a vibrant canvas. The positioning of the house along the water maximized this natural asset, creating a sense of tranquility and escape. Beyond the view, the apartment was clean and well-equipped. Looking to experience this place again and the beautiful French community that makes the town even more appealing.

We all loved it! Like my children, I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the end, perfect after a long hike in Parc de la Mauricie! A big congratulations to the builders and owners - Ryan and Mélanie - for this superb "Kodiak" log cabin, perfectly equipped and maintained. Small note though: much too hot in the rooms upstairs, thermostat setting impossible in the end > windows open >> waste of energy. A very beautiful experience of a boat ride on Lake Souris, one early morning, absolute peace, just the sound of our oars in the water and birdsong. End of evenings in quasi meditation, outside around the fire 🤗 without kodiak bears 😉

What a great spot - so peaceful. The house is enormous, inviting, and comfortable. It was just me staying there for one night so way more house than I needed, but it beat the heck out of a hotel for the night. Despite the odd knicks and scratches of an older home, the place is wonderfully clean and the bed I slept in was very comfy - ah the silence of the countryside with the window wide open.

Always a pleasure, we hope to stay for many more years to come.

Me and my family had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The home was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. Waking up to the stunning view of Lake Chenin from the house was truly a highlight and made the experience even more special. The house was equipped with everything and anything you need and had all amenities .The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home away from home. would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and cozy gateway

Not all cottages are so complete⭐️, different boats for the lake (although not easy to put in the water for everyone), you can do everything in the kitchen/BBQ, all the utensils are there, it's a real ++! The accommodation was extra clean when we arrived. Beware of the air conditioning that works wonderfully on the living floor but hardly reaches the bedrooms upstairs, in the heatwave the nights must be hot. We still treasure this gem in our +, we will certainly come back to it!

We had a quick overnight stop in Grand Mere and had a wonderful time here.

A perfect place to take a quiet break. The apartment is spacious, bright, tastefully decorated and very cozy, with a nice view of a small lake. We wish we could have stayed longer than we originally planned! Sonia was very nice and understanding.

Honestly, I loved my stay! The apartment was beautiful, tastefully decorated, super cosy and really warm. The air conditioning made everything even more pleasant, especially with the outside heat. You feel at home as soon as you enter. It's a place where you want to stay longer. Thanks to Warren for the welcome and impeccable service. And honestly, if I could give 6 stars, I would do it with great pleasure! I would recommend it without hesitation and will be back as soon as I can.

Beautiful stay at Yannick's, small modern and well-equipped studio. It rained all weekend, we didn't visit the surroundings as we would have liked. The parking provided by Yannick, a plus! We would come back for a weekend in the sun!

We had a wonderful time in this accommodation! It was impeccable, well-equipped, comfortable and very clean. The host was warm, responsive and caring. The location is ideal for walking around the neighborhood. My daughter had a dance competition and we were able to walk to the main street where there are several restaurants and all the festivities. Anyway, I recommend it.

This is so much better than an Airbnb, it is home away from home. I have stayed at La Petite Auberge several times, and the place is always kept pristine and cozy any time of year. Very nice apartment, nice location. The premises were clean and comfortable. There are a lot of steps, but it was well indicated in the listing and there is a possibility of going through the interior (as many steps, but less slippery in a rainy context outside). We would definitely go back!

We made a two-day stopover. Impeccable apartment, modern, beautiful kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bedding. A more than pleasant bacon terrace with beautiful river views. However, the second bedroom is a little small. I recommend this beautiful wooded place
