Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Hilaire

We had a wonderful stay at Helene's. Stunning location and property. Modern house with a traditional feel and the pool was a great. Close to Carcassonne but far enough away to getaway from it all and relax. Lots of wonderful wineries close by.

Ciarda and Richard were gracious and helpful hosts. There response to our questions and a couple of repairs was timely. The location is easy in and out and the parking in front is a real plus. The property is comfortable and spacious and these are all good things. There were for us, some things less satisfactory. The 2nd floor is accessed by steep and somewhat irregular stairs. Once on the 2nd floor there are number of interior steps both short and tall as well as up and down. While there is nothing that Ciarda and Richard can do about that short of remodeling, but it is something that we think that should be noted in the description. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend it to others with the caveats noted.

Great location. We had bicycles and wanted direct access to the Canal du Midi. Myriam’s place is right next to a small bridge which allows you to cross over from the apartment on the north side to the cycle route on the south side.

This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful accommodations I've ever stayed in. The experience has been impeccable. Ghislaine welcomed us very kindly, we felt very welcome! We'd do it again without a second thought!

A very nice house, well equipped, very clean. The pool is great! If you want to have a relaxing holiday, we recommend you go there with your eyes closed!!! I thank Christophe for his responsiveness and kindness!

Our time with Christine and André was wonderful! The place is indescribable and the two of them totally touched us with their warm nature. Christine met us in the nearby town and we followed her by car. The route gives a taste of the great hikes that can be undertaken there. The road is not paved, but you can make good progress slowly. The hamlet in which the gîte is located is like a fairy tale. You have a private pergola with a wonderful view. In front of the entrance is a table where you can enjoy coffee and food in the morning sun. The apartment was the best equipped and most stylishly furnished we have ever been in. Everything is sustainable and designed with so much love. Christine and André give you the feeling of total privacy and at the same time take you completely into their world. We were allowed to pet llamas and explore the hamlet and learn about the impressive history. It was unique!

We loved our stay at Laurence's, the house was perfect for 8 adults and baby. The pool area was gated , very clean and heated. Plenty of equipment, we bbq'd one night, (charcoal and bbq brought to the house. ) The house is spacious and beds comfortable. Vineyard 10 mins walk away . Stables next door. Beautiful setting. Morning visits to bakery. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne Old Town and Castle area, Lemuix Wine tasting recommended . Laurence , helpful and informative quick to reply to questions. We would love to return.

Clean, tidy and modern. Perfectly situated between cite, station and museum. Really comfortable mattress and a modern shower better than you'll find in many hotels! Great communication from host throughout.

The studio is nice, new, in very good condition, located in a small quiet subdivision. Perfect for our short trip to Carcassonne for the weekend. Very good welcome from Nicolas. Recommended!

Great location, beautiful view of the medieval city wall. The apartment is clean and comfortable, and Julie was very welcoming when she greeted us.

Everything perfect. Patrick and Michelle are very simple and expected. It felt like a home away from home. The small lake with the park is beautiful for children and to rest in nature.

good value for self contained flat close to Carcassonne and the haut languedoc. very clean, great shower, fast broadband, comfy bed, towels, all the utensils etc you might need, even shower gel and olive oil and coffee for the machine, very thoughtful.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment recently for three nights. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward using keypad facilities for both the building door and apartment door. The apartment is located on a quiet street, however our first night coincided with a musical event so not as quiet as envisaged. It is very modern, clean, well equipped and its a short walk to the castle. We would certainly recommend it for a short stay in Carcassonne.

A great apartment, really well equipped and very comfortable. Emilie is very responsive and very present when you need her! She responds very quickly despite her professional obligations and knows how to solve small problems while being very discreet! There is a great park for children nearby, enough to fill the fridge in a few minutes, the parking lot of the city and the lake less than 10 minutes away. No hassle to park, the apartment has its own parking space, and after a long journey we found a good coffee and small sweets to refresh ourselves! In short... we will be back!!!
