Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Étienne-de-Fontbellon

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We spent 3 wonderful days in Angelique's lovingly furnished apartment. There was nothing missing. The location is very nice, surrounded by vineyards and lavender fields in picturesque countryside and beautiful villages. Angelique is a great and very attentive hostess. Thanks a lot!

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever been to. The accommodation is superb, tastefully decorated and warm. I can only recommend it if you want to discover the Ardèche and stay in a spacious, cosy apartment, in which you feel really good. The village of Balazuc is beautiful, and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes, we enjoyed it. Mary is a great host, responsive and thanks to her everything was easy and chill.

Very nice accommodation. We were able to enjoy the outdoors morning, noon and night. We enjoyed the pool with a magical view of nature. Very discreet hosts but who gave valuable advice on our arrival. We really recommend this accommodation for the tranquility and serenity of the place.

We had a great weekend with the family! The land is very well laid out and beautifully wooded (petanque court, swimming pool, barbecue, etc.). We made the most of it! On the other hand, the accommodation is very well equipped for young children (high chair, crib, dishes, etc.). Perfect for our little girl! In the village (where you can go on foot), there is good organic bread! Ideal! Go ahead! We recommend it!

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Suze-la-Rousse! The home is beautiful—spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. The hosts were really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a private chef during one evening (recommended by Anais) and he was absolutely incredible. The house came with plenty of linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and all the BBQ equipment we could need. There were also extra services available that made the whole experience even more special. Honestly, it was the perfect stay. Huge thanks to the hosts for making my partners 40th one to remember ☺️

What a great stay we had with Didier and Sylvia!! It started with a warm welcome upon arrival. The accommodation is beyond words, for us a different world that we stepped into...so incredibly beautiful, clean and tidy. It is also special how Didier and Sylvia have interpreted this. You can see, notice and feel that there is love and passion in everything! Sylvia was able to recommend a number of gems for us to visit. The area is also incredibly beautiful, quiet. There are plenty of towns to visit in the area and the C4 restaurant is definitely recommended if you want to eat out. Here you can eat delicious pizzas at an affordable price.

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

Our stay at Aline and Gilles' was very pleasant. Our hosts were both very friendly and respectful of our privacy. We were able to play table tennis, badminton, petanque, bathe in the pool and take great walks. We also loved the sweet dog Nuts, who has a hidden talent!

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

Accommodation as described and very good relationship with Evelyne. The neighborhood is well located and very peaceful. Delicate attention: the beds were made on our arrival. It's just missing a few dishes (4 bowls) and Tupperware to store food. I recommend it. .

the large studio was perfect in terms of quiet and equipment for my treatment, also to accommodate my older children on extra mattresses for two days. Delphine was very helpful and accommodating, while being discreet. My only reservations about the accommodation concern the stairs to access the studio + those of the surrounding alleys. I did not realise that the environment of this neighbourhood, 15 minutes' walk from the thermal baths, would also be steep. Otherwise very peaceful, charming and very well equipped accommodation (including bedding)

Wonderful stay in this peaceful place designed and maintained with love by Vanina and George. It is a home that keeps us immersed in nature in contact with the elements. The irregular Lauze stone from floor to roof, the wind that can rush into the upstairs bedroom through the windows without woodwork when it is not the first rays of sunshine that invite themselves at the foot of the bed -very comfortable -. The -hot - shower in the open air facing the mountain covered with a magnificent forest of chestnut and holm oaks. This place is worth it since it is almost 30 minutes from the nearest shops, after beautiful winding mountain roads. Don't forget to arrive with some groceries on the first day! If you're not looking for beauty, authenticity, simplicity, go your way. For the others, you will be spoiled.

Have a great weekend in this beautiful village of Vogüé. The small village house offered by Sébastien has the necessary comfort to have a good stay. Very comfortable bedding, impeccable bathroom, functional kitchen where nothing is missing. I recommend

Janet and Philip were great hosts providing us with the history of the amazing location and its renovation. Every room was spotless and was exactly as described in the posting. It was a great convenience to have breakfast, snacks, and drinks provided. Staying at the castle was breathtaking and was a dream come true for our teenager. It is highly recommended.
