Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Saint Croix Falls

What a beautiful, accommodating, relaxing, and memorable stay we had at Andrea’s home! With a family of daughters they were keenly aware of all the details you included. We could tell you enjoy making beautiful spaces, absolutely lovely decor! Bedrooms were dreamy and plenty of bedding. We could be together in the living room or spread about in the many areas for sitting and relaxing. The kitchen was perfect for making all our meals easily! We enjoyed sitting together and eating and celebrating one of our daughter’s birthdays too. The outside was incredible. The sauna was a treat and even a grill to cook and roast marshmallows in the fire ring. Girls LOVED biking in your quiet neighborhood too! We could even hook up to Interstate Park by a short walk on a path from the house. Wow! I enjoyed all the locations we could walk too! This home is simply delightful for a short stay or a longer stay where you can take advantage of all Andrea’s Riverside House has to offer!

I can't wait to come back! this was peaceful and charming. the kids loved it so much and enjoyed exploring, roasting marshmallows and staying in the bunk! nature at night was magical and we slept so good. highly recommend!

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette weekend and it was everything I’d hoped for and more! We were looking for somewhere quiet outside of the cities and this place definitely delivered. The hot tub was a hit, we fished off the dock (and actually caught something!) and the house itself was gorgeous. There were plenty of beds for 8 of us to buddy up and they were VERY comfortable. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for our large group and made it easy to socialize while preparing meals. Though it did rain most of our stay, the size of the space allowed us to enjoy each other’s company without feeling cramped. The separate apartment was a great bonus as well and offered some additional privacy, plus the one-time extra fee is very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I have no complaints about the location and our host was very responsive anytime we had a question that needed addressing. 10/10 experience and I hope to stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The size of the house, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, was perfect for our group. We are four high school friends who have been getting together for the past 30+ years. The house was nice and clean and well laid out. We had a problem with the coffee pot the first morning and within a few hours, a new one was delivered to our house. Great communication with our hosts! We hope to be back sometime.

We were fortunate that the weather for our late fall weekend in November was beautiful. We were able to explore Taylor's Falls and the surrounding area. There was plenty to do, but we found we gravitated toward going back to the house and take in the coziness of it. The kitchen and living areas were large enough for the 3 couples to comfortably make meals and visit. The kitchen was well equipped for meal preperation and serving. The expansive collection of drinkware had a glass for every type of drink we could make and then some. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and the best bed and bathroom linens we have had at any short-term rental. The only downside we encounter were the slippery wooden floors and stairs. This was easily overcome by wearing slippers. We highly recommend staying at The Perfect Valley Getaway!

Grey Duck Lodge is beautiful and peaceful—the home is spotless and comfortable. There are so many nice touches—a blu tooth speakers for music, cozy blankets to wrap up in if the weather turns chilly, all the kitchen utensils and dishes you need to cook for a large group—a big table for meals and board games, which my adult kids and grandkids love. I loved the lakefront—lovely trees everywhere and easy to rent a pontoon for cruising Deer Lake. The area is full of things to do—hiking, quaint small towns, restaurants, wineries, and new pubs—on top of the water activities. I was there for week and need to go back because I could not do it all. The deck is an unforgettable place for fun conversations and quiet reading. And the home office let us do whatever we had to attend to even when we just wanted to play. Many thanks for the great hospitality. I will definitely return.

What a wonderful stay! My husband and I spent a week scouting neighborhoods for our upcoming move to the area, and this was a perfect place central to everything we needed. Brenda and Brian were very responsive, and it's apparent that they put a lot of thought into the unit. We bumped into Brian the day before our departure (they live in the downstairs unit) when he was working in the garage, and had a lovely conversation. You can tell they really enjoy hosting, and we will absolutely recommend friends and family book this when they come to visit us after our move. The parking spot in the back is a great bonus, and we felt very safe here. There's a busy street nearby, but we weren't ever really bothered by traffic noise inside. We walked around the neighborhood at night and felt very safe as well. Lovely tree lined streets all around too.

This was a great space. Comfortable beds and furniture, and some great restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. Totally great space! No complaints at all.

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

Andy was everything you could ask for in a host. He was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. His place is lovely and very clean! The bed and linens in the main bedroom were extremely comfortable! The back yard had many unique features that, unfortunately, I ran out of time to take advantage of - next time for sure! Andy provides many thoughtful touches including a guidebook to the unit and surrounding area. So many interesting restaurants and things to do within walking distance and close to major highways when a car is needed. I highly recommend a stay here!

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

I would like to give this apartment a 5 for the clean, pleasant environment inside and out and good host communication. However, it was not quite as well equipped as I typically find in an airbnb and therefore a 4 for value.

My husband and I spent a quick overnight at Eileen's while visiting family in Chippewa Falls. The basement apartment is incredibly spacious and we loved the peaceful, rural setting- we had a lovely morning walk with our pup! We would happily stay again.

The hosts were warm and welcoming. Beautiful cabin with all the amenities. Spacious hottub and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be returning.

The house was incredibly comfortable with multiple outdoor options from the front porch to the back porch, garage with pool table and other games, dock, swing, and fire pit. The beds were all comfortable and there were extra sitting areas inside that made it seamless to have the whole family there for the weekend.

Scott was friendly and helpful! Cabin 2 was beautiful and had a great view of the lake! Highly recommend and we will be back again!

For a girl that loves architecture, design and the outdoors this house was a dream come true!

The hosts were incredibly attentive and responsive, making sure we had a seamless experience from start to finish. Highly recommend—this place exceeded all our expectations!

Very peaceful getaway from the city. Exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. The property is beautiful and the home had everything we needed. Loved the open floor plan, comfy couches and fireplace. We enjoyed the sauna and cold plunging in the lake. The host was very accommodating of our dogs and they thoroughly enjoyed our stay as well. We hope to be back again very soon!

A very cozy and private retreat. It was a great place to get away and unplug for a weekend.

This was our 4th annual winter getaway to the cabin. We always enjoys the serenity of the cozy cabin and it's lake front views, which makes it perfect for ice fishing. After a day on the ice, we warm up in the sauna or by the fire, work on puzzles and enjoy home cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen.
