In the grounds of a 15th century château - featured in a number of home & interior magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining. Located in the heart of the park, the stables of Hodebert is the ideal place to meet up with friends or family and visit the Loire châteaux and enjoy the surrounding nature. Wood burning fire place, 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, an access to the ecologic pool of the property… This almost abandoned building required a considerable amount of work to turn it into a comfortable and authentic guest house. Between the Loire with its castles and the Loir with its many tourist sites, Thierry and Jean welcome you to a gîte classified as a 3-star furnished tourist accommodation, independent and tastefully renovated, with a living area of 92 m2 on 2 levels, 5 beds, with terraces. It is in the extension of the main house, a historic 18th century residence. The 9000 m2 wooded park is available to visitors. Very quiet neighborhood at the entrance to the village next to a 15th century chapel.
