House holiday rentals in Saint Charles

I stay in a lot of airbnbs every year and I’d have to rank this as one of the best. Everything is clean, modern, and updated. Furniture is high quality. The beds are amazing. The neighborhood is also quiet and peaceful. I wish I lived at this Airbnb, my entire crew and myself loved it.

Loved staying here for our book club retreat! The space was wonderful and we loved playing pool in the game room, gathering for conversations around the fire, and all of the cozy reading nooks that this beautiful house provided. Would recommend for any group traveling to the area!

Thank you for the great set up in your home for a fun filled family long weekend while we celebrated our son’s graduation. The home had a very large open floor plan which made for a great set up for our large family. They loved the huge sun porch with table and chairs, large backyard, hot tub, pool and we had a fire every night at the fire pit with s’mores. The home is clean and maintained well and it was easy to communicate with Hannah. Thanks so much for the great Airbnb!

This place was great for a girls weekend. The pool and deck area is a fun hangout.

Loved our stay. 2 days there were 13 of us definitely tested the capacity lots of room. My husband and I added a day , he seldom gets summer vacations. Bring blankets especially if people sleeping on couches. More kitchen stocking if doing a lot of cooking. The house was awesome one level especially the game room extra space. Two sleeper sofa’s would work in there. Lots of room for large groups. Fire pit and pool absolutely great. Patio and two doors on the poolside was very useful. I did call Douglas with a few questions, very accommodating and friendly.

This property was everything we hoped for and more! A beautiful, serene location with beautiful views of the golf course and an amazing pool! This host had the things often lacking at rental properties - bag clips, ziploc bags for leftover food, toiletries, sunscreen, pool floats - they thought of everything! The home and property were very clean and the home was spacious. We LOVED this spot for our book club get-away and we will definitely be back! Fantastic! 5+ stars!

This was a phenomenal property! I wasn't sure before booking, due to the shared space aspect of the place, but it was not a problem at all. Even though the owners are on site (in the other, smaller house), they were unobtrusive. Jayden was very quick to respond to messages, and she was flexible with our requests. The space itself is a dream. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit are amazing. We also loved the amount of bathrooms and bedrooms on property. We had 9 guests in our group, but we never felt crammed at all. It was a spectacular stay all around!

Brian’s place was great! We went to the Walnut Antique Show and then saw the covered bridges. Brian’s place is so nice, very easy to get to, and accurately described in the listing. It’s decorated like a real home, rather than an AirBnb, so it’s extra cozy and very prepared for guests. There are plenty of blankets and great seating. There were only 3 of us but this would be very comfortable for groups. It was incredibly clean and had the coffee we needed. Brian was very communicative and very friendly! We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it.

Kari and Patrick were the real MVPs! Their little home was so welcoming from the moment we walked in. And when needed, they were there to help make sure we were taken care of, whether it was setting aside some extra flowers for us, starting a cozy fire, or even tracking down a screwdriver when we needed one – they were always there when we needed them, with full-on southern hospitality and big “we’ve got you” energy. If you’re dreaming up a girls trip or just need a peaceful weekend reset with your people, do yourself a favor and head to Norwalk to stay at the Victoria. 10/10 would book again, no notes.

We were super grateful to have a quick and comfortable spot for the night. We got into Des Moines very late and needed a place to stay the night during our travels. Despite contacting/booking very last minute, Debbie was quick to respond and help us get settled. It was a wonderful little space with everything we needed for the night. Very clean, comfortable, and decorated well!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very clean, cozy and quaint. Howard was extremely responsive and flexible with our check-in time. Check-out instructions were clearly laid out, and very reasonable. Winterset is a beautiful town. I only wish we would have had more time to explore!

We have stayed in many airbnbs, in many countries, and many states. This may jave been our favorite. The property was perfect, secluded, and so relaxing. Just loved this place!

Dual Gables is a very charming, historic house. It is located in a neighborhood that you can easily walk to downtown. Everything was as pictured and described. We appreciated the coffee bar for our early morning starts. We would stay here again.

Cute place,just like pictures. Beds could have been more comfortable but overall a good stay. Quite neighborhood. Would have loved to check out town but no time. Great stay would stay again.

Susan is a sweetheart and Daryl is a cool as they come artist. Great people. So fun up here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jane's property. It is located in a quiet suburban area, only a few minutes from downtown De Moines, with a modest small town residential feel. The home is excellently maintained. Jane definitely a "super host" ... friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Her property demonstrates her pride in ownership and attention to details, for example clear labeling of the kichen equipment and other items for guest use. We would recommend that you consider staying in this property if you have occasion to be in the Des Moines metro area.

This was a very nice place with everything we needed. We would love to stay here again if in the area.

A beautifully furnished gem of a house (the downstairs bathroom is so cute) on a quiet street in the cutest town. I love her style and furnishings.

We loved staying at this country home. We stayed for one night as we passed through on a road trip, and it was everything we needed! Very cozy, as described. The on-site (in the yard) kittens were a delight to visit with the next morning before we headed out!
