Leyden's Cottage

Period mud brick cottage originally built sometime before or around 1900 with family history stretching back five generations and the gold rush. It is set on a property of nearly 30 acres with abundant wildlife and scenery. It is located approximately 5-6 kms from the township of Avoca Victoria and it is within walking distance of a couple of local wineries and the Percydale historic area. It is isolated from any close neighbours and you do not have to share facilities with any other guests.

Our secluded, modern, spacious, one bedroom retreat is located at the foot of the Grampians. Kick back and relax in this calm and cozy space. Enjoy the peace and quiet, surrounded by the Grampians National Park. Sleep soundly in the king-sized bed, or enjoy a soak in the freestanding bath and watch the wildlife jump past. Our retreat is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We are located 5 minutes from Halls Gap, and close to all the Grampians has to offer including local wineries.

Small but comfy the accommodation is a self contained backyard bungalow. It has a kitchenette, separate shower ensuite and private bbq deck. Our guests value a comfy bed, a hot shower, the ability to cook their own meals and a place to relax in a private outdoor space . *The backyard is shared with our small friendly dog Toby. * 20 minutes drive to Halls Gap and the Grampians * 10 minutes to Great Western's wineries. *10 minute walk to the Stawell Gift, shops and bus/train station.

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

Summerfield Cottage has everything you need and more, all of your linen is supplied and the cottage includes a continental breakfast. Moonambel is only a 2 hour drive from Melbourne and a 45 minute drive to the Grampians national park.

The Shop

Located in the heart of the main street, 'The Shop' offers a unique accommodation style that cannot be found anywhere else in Donald. A 2-bedroom apartment with a queen and double bed, as well as a fold out sofa, gives the option of another double bed, allowing sleeping room for up to 6 people. Located in the main street allows quick and easy access to all cafes, shops, hotel, supermarket and the popular Chinese Restaurant. Rear access with off street parking is available.

Bet Bet Creek Homestead

A large, family friendly, country home, Bet Bet Creek Homestead is a tranquil getaway set on the banks of the Bet Bet Creek. Situated between the rural towns of Maryborough and Avoca, our charming mud brick house can comfortably sleep 8 people, with its four bedrooms and two living areas. There is a large outdoor area with an outdoor fire and gas BBQ, lounge and dining table. Be sure not to miss the sensational sunset over the front paddock or a walk along the creek.

Little Argyle - Country Escape

Argyle Farm is an idyllic country getaway, the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the natural Australian environment and simple way of life - with all the modern comforts. It is located in Avon Plains in Victoria's Wimmera region, near the famed Grampians National Park. 'Little Argyle' is a beautifully restored farm cottage with historic charm. It has a wood fire and big windows looking out to the gum trees, paddocks, grazing sheep, birds and kangaroos passing-by.

The Loft

Our little loft is situated in the township of St Arnaud. It’s a self contained studio space with a kitchenette, queen bed and private bathroom. The lounge room section includes a double futon which can be easily converted into a second bed. The perfect stop over spot or destination for a weekend in the country. St Arnaud has some cute cafe’s, a couple of great pubs. It is a must see on the Silo Art Trail, with artworks located throughout the town.

Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna.
