The accommodation is located in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from JR Usuki Station. From the accommodation, you can walk to the center of the castle town, such as Usuki Castle Ruins, Hachimachi Oji, and Nioza Historical Road, in about 10 minutes. You can also enjoy a stroll while feeling the history and local cuisine. Nearby areas include Sagaseki-cho, famous for its horse mackerel and mackerel, Tsukumi, where you can eat kabosu, amberjack, and Bungo tuna, and Saiki, famous for its seafood, all easily accessible by car or train. You can also take a day trip to Shikoku by ferry. 　 The accommodation has a full kitchen, and you can buy ingredients at multiple supermarkets in about 10 minutes by car to the Usuki Interchange. If you get tired of eating out, you can also buy fresh local ingredients and cook for yourself. Also, it's fun to drink at home with family and friends! 川辺の一軒宿 Togu tsubakiyama

We have set check-out for 2:00 p.m. so that you can enjoy a relaxing stay. Located on a stone embankment where two rivers converge, this renovated old house on a wooded property is a private accommodation for rent. There are no buildings in sight, you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature, and the water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, people come to the river next to the inn to play in the river or head to the Kappa Falls. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy playing in the river, as well as a BBQ or campfire (depending on the season and weather, this may not be possible) using the ingredients you bring. (Please be careful when handling fire.) Please rest assured that cooking utensils, a microwave and tableware are also provided. If you walk upstream along the riverside path, you will find the Kappa Falls about 150 metres ahead. Please make sure to prepare food and drinks, such as dinner, before check-in.(It takes about 20 minutes by car to the supermarket) The last 400m to the accommodation is narrow and difficult to see, Once you arrive at "Camu Tsubaki-yama", we will be happy to show you around.

The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
