From the accommodation, you can walk to the center of the castle town, such as Usuki Castle Ruins, Hachimachi Oji, and Nioza Historical Road, in about 10 minutes. You can also enjoy a stroll while feeling the history and local cuisine. Nearby areas include Sagaseki-cho, famous for its horse mackerel and mackerel, Tsukumi, where you can eat kabosu, amberjack, and Bungo tuna, and Saiki, famous for its seafood, all easily accessible by car or train. You can also take a day trip to Shikoku by ferry. 　 The accommodation has a full kitchen, and you can buy ingredients at multiple supermarkets in about 10 minutes by car to the Usuki Interchange. You can use the onsen as many times as you like, at any time. The room is mainly furnished with Japanese-style bedding (futons), with some mattresses of a thicker type also provided.There is no bed, but you can still have a comfortable night's sleep. Up to 7 people can stay, making it ideal for families or groups. It is also conveniently located for sightseeing in Beppu, and there is a seaside park within walking distance, which is great for morning or evening walks and for enjoying a relaxing time. This Villa does not provide meals or ingredients. ゆっくりお過ごしいただきたいので、チェックアウトを14時までに設定させていただいております。 川と川が合流する石垣の上にあり、木々に囲まれた敷地にある古民家の中をリノベーションした、素泊まり一軒宿となっております。 見える範囲に建物はなく、川の音、鳥の鳴き声、自然との一体感をお楽しみいただけ、水道も湧水(水質検査済)となっております。 季節によって、川遊びや、かっぱ滝を目指して、宿の横の川を行き交う方々もいらっしゃいます。 お天気が良ければ、川遊びはもちろん、ご持参いただいた食材でBBQや焚き火(季節や天候次第ではご遠慮いただく事もあります)などもお楽しみいただけます。 (火の取り扱いには充分お気をつけください。) 調理器具、レンジ、食器類も備えておりますので、ご安心ください。 川沿いの散歩道を上流に進むと、150m程先に「かっぱ滝」もございます。 夕食等の飲食物は、チェックイン前にぜひご用意ください。(スーパーまで車で約20分かかります) 宿まで400mの区間のみ狭く分かりづらい為、 「camuつばき山」までお越しいただけましたら、私達がご案内させていただきます。

The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
