Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Saguache County

My family (me, my husband, mom, and brother) loved staying here. The space is very relaxing- plenty of recline seating in the living room, comfortable beds in all three rooms, and the hot tub is a great place to stargaze. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking several meals in. Our dogs loved the backyard and the view is incredible from the front yard. Location felt secluded but only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute stroll to town. Charley was a wonderful, friendly, and welcoming host.

Would go back in the future. It’s a great place to rewind for a couple of days. The view is indeed spectacular specially if you’re new to dozens of miles of open plains and mountains. The house is on the foothills of a mountain. Tranquility is the name of the game in this neighborhood. Stores and things to do around this location is a bit lacking. 50 mins from national park.

Beth is a great host, very responsive, helpful, & understanding. The place was so peaceful. My whole family spent time in the hot tub and massage chair, played corn hole, attempted to fish in icy water, & slept well in the beds. We went to the great sand dunes, the royal gorge bridge, mt Princeton hot springs, and monarch mountain… made loads of wonderful memories! Very appreciative of Beth and this place they shared with us!

Gretchen’s house is set On a lovely lot with arid landscape and Mountain View’s. The house is large, open plenty of Areas to lounge both inside and out. Beds are comfortable, 2.5 baths makes is groups friendly. Distanced fire pit was a favorite. Not much to do in the area beyond visiting the dunes which we really enjoyed as well as cooking in the very well appointed kitchen. We had a last minute reservation request which our hosts were able to accommodate for something extra. We appreciated that. Lovely home and stay all around.

Secluded and breathtaking mountain views, proximity to Salida and easy directions/process made this such a memorable stay! Had an amazing time and hope to return very soon! Very jealous of the river access. A must for my future house.

Spacious home at the base of the mountain in a tiny quiet town. Beautiful views and trails near by. We rent at least 2 homes a year for family vacations and the kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have ever experienced with a home rental. I highly appreciated that. We enjoyed our stay here.

My sister and I LOVED our stay here! We needed flexibility when we checked in, and Erin was SO flexible and kind to help. We loved the place and couldn’t get over the views. The farm fresh eggs were a life saver when we ended up in Creststone later than expected. And to top it all off, our car needed a jump when we left, and she and her husband were so helpful and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond. We cannot wait to visit again, and I cannot recommend this place enough for a getaway.

A quick night's stay was worth it. Westcliffe is beautiful and our room was perfect for a family of five.

we had a great stay - we loved the quiet and solitude, especially out on the deck! we drove into Salida for food and drinks and enjoyed the beautiful 25 minute drive. our furry friend loved the trip too!

What an absolutely beautiful place! My wife and I loved the cozy feel of the cabin that was more spacious than we thought it would be! The hosts were incredible. They accommodated us for an early checkin, solved an issue with the fireplace in quickly and even shoveled snow off the walkway for us after a somewhat surprising heavy snow fall. Kyle is hands down the best host I’ve experienced with an Airbnb. This place is perfect for a couple looking to have a private getaway in a lovely cabin with incredible views. If we’re ever in the area again we will absolutely stay here again. 10/10

We are repeat guests. We love this location and the surrounding area. The house suits our family well and was very clean. We spend our days outdoors hiking/backpacking in the area. We cook the majority of our meals in the kitchen. Still a bit of a work in progress, but we had a great stay and love this spot! The scenery & remoteness are just what we look for!

really enjoyed our stay. it is a beautiful property. we loved the disc golf course. probably the most beautiful disco golf course I've ever played - although it was difficult to keep track of the frisbees in the brush - so keep tabs on your disks. they had an infrared sauna so it wasn't as hot as I expected but still nice. would love to come back again !

This place was nothing short of amazing. An incredible location matched with amazing hosts. The hosts were so friendly and really went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. It’s hard to pick a favorite part of the stay but the hot tub ranks very high. And I’m not sure I’ve ever had a breakfast as beautiful as the ones we had here, looking into the mountain range as we ate every day. Highly recommend staying here!

Our little cabin was private and right on the river. Having running water inside was a step up from glamping! Very comfortable beds made our family feel at home.

Maria's Place is a beautiful home, peaceful, Great views. She was a great host.

What a great house for our group. We were in the area for a Women in Rotary Retreat and the six of us had plenty of room for sleeping, spreading out, cooking, relaxing outside. Everything in the property is well organized and thoughtful and the kitchen is well stocked for food preparation. The views are fantastic.
