Holiday rentals with lake access in Sagadahoc County

This house is AMAZING! We stayed for 2 months (mid-Sept to mid-Nov). Everything was top-notch and high quality through out. TVs were super easy to work. Kitchen was well equipped. The Blackstone grill got a good workout. The views are incredible. My wife and I both set up home offices (me downstairs and she upstairs) and we had beautiful views of the water. The location was perfect. 6 minutes to Hannaford, 10 minutes to Bowdoin, 5 minutes to Miller Fitness (a gym we joined for 2 months). Yet, the house sits on a dead end street and is surrounded by woods. Very quiet, serene, and peaceful. Response from Meaghan and Andrew was always prompt and helpful. We loved it so much, we already booked it for next year's Bowdoin football season!

We had a fantastic stay at Luanne's! The house is in a good location, about 10 min to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The property is beautiful with a great view of the water. The bedroom and bathroom setup worked well for us, since most bedrooms had access to its own bathroom. Everything was clean, appliances and grill worked. Luanne was very responsive to any questions and issues. Renters should note that there is a guest cottage/converted garage on the property, just about 15 feet away from the main house, and this cottage is also rented out. The property is essentially shared between the two houses. It did not become an issue during our stay, but we were cognizant that there may be another car coming up the driveway when the dogs and kids were out in the yard and it did make the property feel less private. Overall, would recommend Luanne's for a great stay close to Boothbay.

We can’t say enough good things about this stay. We came for our honeymoon, and were met with flowers and a few other treats from the host as a gift. How sweet! As far as the property, the cottage is perfectly sized for two or three, and is designed delightfully. It is on a shared lot with the family’s primary residence , but feels very comfortable and private. A close by walk to the water as well. Inside, you will find everything you could ever need from pots and pans, spices, towels, and the best recommendations for the area. We’d build our own version of this cottage to take home with us if we could. We hope to one day be back and will always remember our amazing time in Harpswell.

We absolutely loved staying at this house! The views each morning waking up to sunrise were spectacular. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck, watching the lobster boats and wildlife. The house was comfortable, with a semi-open concept and cozy cabin vibes. I’m a writer, so I really enjoyed being able to spend the mornings working on my novel while watching the tides rise and fall between the islands. The nights were peaceful and beautiful as well, and we loved being able to gather around the fireplace and enjoy the moonlight on the ocean. We would definitely return to Charlie’s place to stay again!

Your house is so beautiful. Lots of space. Right on the water. Every window with breathe taking views. Had family from Boothbay came for Christmas. Spacious, games, walks and sunsets. It was perfect! Thank you for letting us use your house😃❤️

It's not every day I get the perfect ocean view from a comfortable home in the company of cuddly felines Mac & Cheese. Jane's Airbnb offers all of that and more. She genuinely enjoys hosting and sharing her passion for coastal life. Mac & Cheese contribute to the experience by demonstrating that outdoor life is an adventure worth pursuing. We recently stayed at this wonderful Airbnb with our two young children (ages 2 and 5), and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The property was private and offered a serene and safe environment for our little ones to explore and enjoy. One of the highlights for us were the breathtaking sunsets we got to witness every evening. The views were simply stunning and made our stay even more special. Additionally, we enjoyed fishing off the pier, which was a great activity for the whole family. Betsy, our host, was amazing! She was always available for any questions we had and made sure we felt right at home. Her friendliness and attentiveness truly enhanced our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to other families looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. Thank you, Betsy, for a memorable vacation!

Home is just as listed. Very comfortable, clean, and location was perfect for our needs. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Can not say enough on how great our stay was.

This was our first trip to the Topsham area of Maine and Lisa's home was a perfect place central to everywhere we wanted to visit and explore. Very close to 295 and downtown area, but also felt like we were in the country with beautiful areas of nature. Everything was exactly as pictured, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the space the property offered and the views of the nearby pond. The home was impeccably clean and Lisa's instructions to help us get settled (and a lovely welcome gift) helped us to feel settled right away. We would be happy to stay here again in the future and definitely recommend this home to other couples who might be visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay. Pat was very responsive and helpful, the place was comfortable, quiet and perfectly located. It was easy to come and go and the island is idyllic. We loved our first visit to Maine!

Lovely cottage close to water. Very clean and comfortable. Liz welcomed us on arrival and came to say goodbye when we left. She sent us lots of helpful information and suggestions. A lovely peaceful escape.

Cecilia and Isabella were phenomenal hosts and made the stay even more enjoyable than just the simply glorious cabin and property. This experience was absolutely everything that I was hoping for. The cabin was rustic and had perfect Maine Lakeside charm. I could have spent the rest of the summer on that dock 🥰

We had an amazing time at the Aslan house with our dogs. It has a beautiful view of the lake and just a short walk to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet, super clean & cozy. The host was very friendly and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!!

This was our second stay at Lily and Blake's cottage, this time in the thick of winter. The cottage was super cozy (the wood stove is perfect!) and comfortable, and although we stayed in for much of our stay we still ventured out to an oyster tasting in Phippsburg, beer and wood fired pizza at a local brewery, and a visit to our favorite Italian bakery in Bath. Still so much to enjoy in the winter months in the Brunswick area!
