The cottage is part of an over 100 year old working lobstering, and now oyster farming property we call, Gurnet Village. Located right on historic Route 24, we are conveniently situated between Brunswick & the islands of Harpswell. All rooms have ocean views. The tidal beach & the floating dock (May-Dec) is ideal for seasonal fishing, lounging & swimming.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This sweet cottage offers scenic water views and much more. Overlooking the New Meadows river, it is nestled in a quiet area and surrounded by 100 yr old oak trees. It is loaded with charm yet offers modern amenities. You feel tucked away, yet the place is only 10 to 20 minutes from beautiful beaches, hiking, fine dining, and shopping opportunities. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the back porch and cozy up to fire pit while you make memories.

The Douglas Park Loft

The loft is a 20 X 20 space above our detached garage. Wide pine floors. 7 windows facing. Optimal for a couple. Sleep sofa is 70" x 54" so suitable for 1 adult or 2 children/teens. Sunny room w/room darkening shades. Radiant floor in the bathroom. Smart TV. Low radiation WiFi. Ethernet jack. Heat pump for heat or AC. Large under counter fridge w/out freezer but we have one in the garage. Two burner infrared cook-top. Toaster oven, Hot H2O kettle & coffee maker. Kitchen is ready for cooking.

Welcome to your Brunswick getaway! Our bright and airy 1-bedroom apartment is tucked in a quiet neighborhood just one mile from Bowdoin College, with fast, easy access to Route 1 and I-295. Surrounded by greenery, trees, and fresh Maine air, this is the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and still be minutes from everything Brunswick has to offer. Proximity to Freeport outlets, Bowdoin College, and spring hiking/coastal walks. Downtown Brunswick restaurants (great for Valentine’s dinners).

Sweet Fern Cabin on Merrymeeting Bay

Nestled in the woods on 2.5 waterfront acres where the Muddy River meets Merrymeeting Bay. The cabin is 350 square feet of simple living with a panoramic view. There is a three season hot water outdoor shower and wood burning stove with plenty of wood included. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and has off grid cold water sink. Outbuilding with composting toilet is right out the back door. Kayaks and stand up paddle board are available to rent for an additional fee.

Only a 15-minute walk to historic downtown Bath, a 3-minute drive to Thorne Head Preserve, and a 25-minute drive to Reid State Park and Popham Beach. Our two story in-law suite is new. This one bedroom is perfect for a family or a quiet romantic retreat. Located on 8 acres of very private pristine Maine landscape. 10 minutes to Bath. 19 minutes to Popham beach. 30 minutes to Freeport. 45 minutes to Portland. 5 minutes to public boat launch. Unfortunately, as much as we love furry family members, due to health risks for our family we are not able to host animals including service dogs. ❤️ 🐶 🐈‍⬛ 💕
