House holiday rentals in Saco Bay

we can't say enough about lovely our stay was at this beautiful house in OOB. the house is so clean and bright. its within walking distance to restaurants and stores. its right across from the heated pool. it really is such a gem!

We had a wonderful stay- place was pristine and welcoming, looks exactly like the photos. Of course being closer to water is always great and can’t beat it for the price. Many OOB hotels leave much to be desired and are outrageously expensive for what you get. After some less than stellar experiences, to be somewhere clean, free of bugs and animals was a relief. Easy uber ride or trolley to boardwalk. Definitely would rent there again!

We had a wonderful time! Going during off season was very peaceful and quiet will definitely book again in the future!

The house was spotless and centrally located for what we wanted to do in southern Maine. It was well stocked with quality toilet paper, napkins and Kleenex. We had plenty of towels for the hot tub and pool. It is updated and well taken care of. The hosts were extremely helpful and we didn’t see them at all, so the place felt very private. This was an amazing house and our kids had so much fun in the pool and playing corn hole on the large deck. Would recommend this house for families and couples in a heartbeat!

Kathi’s place was great! Super close to the Downtown Portland/Old Port area. Kathi was a great host, extremely responsive and genuinely nice, plus she even made my family and I some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! Her instructions were clear and she made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again whenever we’re in the area!

Beautiful home in a quiet, family-friendly community. We loved being able to walk up to the pool and play in the game room in the main clubhouse area. The house is a short drive to downtown Kennebunkport and local beaches. It is a quick 30 minute drive up to Portland. Our daughter loved sleeping in the private bedroom upstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances. The space was immaculate when we arrived. Steve was responsive to any needs we had during our stay. A great find!

This place worked out great for 2 families to have a weekend get together. Everything was easy from check in and there were some cute little "Maine" gifts for us when we arrived. We knew ahead of time that there were 2 other cottages on the property and normally don't prefer that type of set up, but we loved the location on the beach so we decided to go for it. There was someone staying in the closest house to us, but we only saw them in passing and with the exception of 1 bedroom that looks out onto their backyard, we never even noticed they were there. The house itself feels like old school Maine - beautiful wood and lots of windows. Could use some updating in spots, but it's also part of it's charm. Nice big dining table for all of to sit around for meals or games. We loved being able to take a short walk down to the beach anytime. As hosts Franny and Luke were very communicative and helpful without being overbearing. We would definitely recommend!

We love our stay so much! We are a family with 2 kids and we are traveling with the grand parents, and the house makes everyone happy. The owner put a lot of effort into preparing the houses and they thought of everything we need. They have all the cooking ware we need and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is great, 5min drive to the beach with grocery stores close by. The surrounding is quiet and peaceful. Overall the house is great and we are looking forward to come again.

We loved the place. I hesitate to give it too good a rating because that might make it harder for us to get a reservation in the future. It was just the two of us and we never left except once to buy groceries. The unimpeded panorama of sea, sand and sky 24/7 is unique to this property, which while being lovely and comfortable, seems to exist only to provide a front row seat to savor constant everchanging spectular of sea and sky. We were there in off season, and blessed with crazy good weather. But I am sure it is equally delightful whenever you are lucky enough to be there. Kudos to Aimee and her vision of in creating this treasure of a place. I LOVE that there is no porch railing. Never add one. THanks, Aimee.

Beautiful home! This house was perfect for our multi-generation family. The playroom area was perfect for the grands and the layout worked well for our needs. The thoughtful details of toys/games, pack n play, highchair, etc made us feel right at home.

The house was perfect for two families. We loved having the hot tub and a comfortable patio to relax at. The basketball courts across the street were convenient as our kids love basketball. We would go back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great recommendations.

Beautiful home and so fortunate to have stayed in such a lovely stunning place. Perfect location for everything we were in for a wedding and not far from where to place Ethan was wonderful and answered everything we needed answered. I would definitely stay here again. If I’m in the area I think the price could be a little less it’s a tad expensive, but I’m super picky and that being said was not disappointedthanks, Ethan.

We had a wonderful stay in Cape Elizabeth! The area was beautiful and it was so peaceful to wake up to ocean views. Check in was easy and host was friendly and responsive.

My husband and I had an excellent vacation at the Memere House. Before booking, we checked the dog policy and Sylwia was super accommodating allowing us to bring our 3 dogs along. (We have 2 personal dogs and 1 work dog and it makes it super hard trying to find a place to rent that will allow us to bring all 3!) The house itself is modern, updated, and spotless and clean upon arrival. Pin-code to enter was super convenient as well as off street parking reserved for renters. During our stay we enjoyed Huot’s across the street as well as several restaurants 10-20mins away in Saco, OOB, and Scarborough. The Camp Ellis Memere House is the perfect central location for visiting the area and the marina cove is perfect for letting the doggies swim. I will say, if you are looking to swim, I recommend walking up the street to another beach access point, where the sand is a bit softer and cleaner. We adored Sylwia’s place and plan to return next summer - don’t think twice about booking here!!

We had a great stay at Amanda’s home. It was clean and accurately described in the listing and her communication/responsiveness was exceptional. We accidentally locked the keys in the house and she was over in 10 minutes with a new pair! The propane tank was out and she was over with a new one in 15 minutes. Nice private area- A little bit of a walk to the beach due to the limited entry ways and getting to restaurants was a drive or an Uber. So as long as you are okay with all of that then I would recommend this house for larger groups!

Michael is flexible and nice. He is quick responding and his airbnb is clean and cozy. Also is in a great location! I definitely recommend.

This is our third time staying at Stacey's rental because we love it so much! It's the perfect size for our family and our friends to spend the weekend together. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and there is a ton to do just a short drive in any direction from the house. We look forward to our stay and are always sad to leave!

We stayed the first week of May and, even though it rained the whole time, we still had a fantastic experience at Grandy’s place in Old Orchard Beach! The home was beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly well-stocked—even thoughtful touches like white noise fans, which we usually gave to buy ourselves were in every room. The kitchen had everything: spices, decaf tea, coffee, multiple lobster pots, air fryer, toaster, teapot, and every cooking tool imaginable. Just a few houses from the beach, with ocean views plenty visible—it was the perfect location. We loved the fireplaces on both floors, and the luxurious soaking tub felt like a private spa. Extras like a second fridge, washer/dryer, tons of towels, first aid supplies (even Neosporin!), beach chairs, games, tons of hangers, iron, extra pillows, and blankets made the stay effortless. The host even looked up the mattress type when we asked! Truly one of our best Airbnb stays—we’re already looking forward to returning.

I have been renting in this area for 40+ years. Mara's attention to detail was over the top. We arrived to a note and a gift card to the local lobster places. (Who does that!) There were bones and everything we needed for our sweet dog. The outside shower was the best and the only one I used. Having a 2nd bathroom in the basement and laundry was great. Air conditioners and a well stocked kitchen. And the sunset views and nights around the fire with family were the best. And use of the garage with bikes, sand toys and kyacks-never seen that before. Wish I had booked for a few more days. Will definitely come back next year. Thank you!!

Alex was a great host! Very responsive and helpful! My family and I were traveling about 3 hours away, Alex went out of her way to let us know we were able to come up an hour earlier to settle. It made such a difference. So cozy and comfortable! It was very neat and orderly. Close to so many fun things to do and a good location!

My family and I had a serene experience staying here. Although the weather was mostly rainy or cloudy, we loved the lake location and maximized the indoor, outdoor, and nearby activity options. The hosts were so responsive, regardless of the question, and made this a truly delightful visit. This was my parents’ first Airbnb experience and it set the bar higher than I could have imagined! My family and I are already talking about coming back!!
