Had a great stay. Nice cozy, clean bed room, great bathroom. House was in a very quiet peaceful neighborhood. But just a short drive to stores. Coffee and morning cereal was a nice touch. A great host to be sure!!

Nice quiet neighborhood, parking space provided and breakfast in the morning. Bill is a gracious host allowing you privacy but also a conversation if you want to socialize. He also had good recommendations for local cuisine.

Great lakeside cottage with a beautiful view! Peacocks even strolled bye in the mornings. The house was clean and comfortable. The Mission Inn Resort is just down the road. Christina the host was easy to communicate with and everything was available as described. I would highly recommend this cozy home.

Christina’s home was a simply wonderful place to spend July 4th with our family. Spacious and clean, with a spectacular lake view and a nice outdoor area for people to sit and relax. My daughter loved the peacocks roaming the neighborhood and the chalkboard in one of the bedrooms. We made beautiful memories there and I highly recommend this home if you’re looking for a comfortable place close to local attractions where you can relax after a long day.

Great place!! Loved the view out the windows of the lake. The house has so much character, I LOVED the old wood floors!! The house is wonderful for families, we had 3 generations staying from 55 to 2 years old and everyone had a nice place to sleep and hang out. Lots of great places to eat in the area. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed, we even cooked one night :) Love to come back for a longer stay.

Easy to find; exceptional location; perfect view sitting in the sunroom looking out over the lake; nice and clean and plenty of room for our whole family; great responses from the owners who have generous hearts and let us reschedule one time because of a horrid storm and helped us to make arrangements to have our “grandpuppies” with us the next time. As our 10 year old granddaughter yelled out the car window as they drove away- let’s make this an annual family event!

I’ll stay here anytime I’m in the area and it’s available. Good location, and the host is great. From a value standpoint I love it because oftentimes I just need a place to crash, and Larry has everything you need here in a private little package.

We stayed at this space for two weeks in March. The space is super cool and we loved having access to the paddle boards, fire pit, and canoe. It was a great space to unwind and the hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

Could not have asked for a better stay! 10/10 a place for people who want to disconnect and unwind outside. We brought our dogs and spent all day out playing in the lake, and when the sun went down we took the pontoon dock out to enjoy a little sunset and fire right there! Don’t come here if WiFi is your life, it’s a place to enjoy and explore.. it needs nothing more 😍 THANK YOU SO MUCH!

So relaxing to spend the day at the Gathered Place! We caught three fish, including a huge large mouthed bass, using the poles and lures provided. We spent a great morning relaxing on the dock. The space was so stylish and cozy. We’d love to go back!

I originally booked this place because of the positive reviews and I'm so glad I did! Ursula was kind and open in hospitality. My guest enjoyed their conversations and I'm glad it was an enjoyable stay! The room was cute and I loved the features, especially the desk at the end of the bed for working on laptop and watching Netflix.

A perfect home away from home. Everything a person could need from clean, well appointed guest house to patio with pool access to huge fenced in yard perfect for pets. And did I mention gracious, hospitable hosts? A five star Airbnb for sure!

When we booked this charming guest house in the hopes of having a quiet, relaxing Christmas vacation, we had no idea how perfect Val's place would be for us! It exceeded our expectations in every way, and was both clean and comfy. The hosts were very accommodating, even though it seemed as though they had already thought of everything we could possibly need or want ~ including extra touches like a holiday wreath, a small lit Christmas tree, and other seasonal decor! Not to mention the beautiful swimming pool and oasis-like patio that was all lit up when we arrived! Nothing beats having your own private pool deck to soak up some much-needed Vitamin D! We highly recommend Val's place to anyone traveling to Central Florida, even if it's a little out of your way. You won't find a quieter place to rest and relax, and it's so convenient to the many shops and restaurants at The Villages. Wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to come back again!

This place was wonderful. It was like being in a private resort with the pool and the landscaping. The place was sparkling clean and huge. Less than three miles away on Hwy 441 was every retail and restaurant location you could think of. For the price you can't beat it. I use Air BnB a lot and this by far has been one of the nicest places I have stayed at.

I personally didn’t stay at Andrew’s place - the reservation was for my cousin who needed a place near his weekend job. He stayed for one night and said that the room was very comfortable and clean - slept like a baby. He said Andrew was very respectful, kind and chilled. Definitely recommended!

Deborahs place is a hidden treasure. Their are too numerous amenities and special touches to make our stay fabulous. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

Very quaint cabin and perfect for our trip. Deborah thought of all the special touches—coffee, towels, and a multitude of other items in the house that were helpful. She was very friendly and met us the day we arrived. Host was very attentive throughout our stay.

We stayed at Jill’s Feb 28 - Mar 3, 2020. We enjoyed the stay! The space was clean, comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed the deck, and some of the amenities provided. We were close to many activities, but far enough off the beaten path to enjoy a quiet evening! If we are ever in the area, we will stay again!

Quiet, beautiful neighborhood, immaculate housing and grounds. Tommy is a people person, engaging and truly cares about the guests he welcomes to his property. He’s truly an old school ‘renaissance’ man with a few modern upgrades, like the rest of ‘us’ 50+ plusers. LoL. I’ve made a friend, who I hope to visit soon and for more time. If you’re not a respectful, people person, do not stay here. All others will enjoy Tommy and his property.

It was wonderful having Tommy as a host. The place had everything we needed, plus more. Even a hairdryer with a diffuser! Extra blankets, towels, HUGE fridge, dishes, tupperware, shampoo and the list goes on. This was my first AirBNB and after this stay, I don't know if I'll stay in a hotel again. I slept so well in a clean, quiet, home setting. No noisey people in the other room or ruckus in the hallways like some of my past hotel stays. Tommy was a very kind man that takes very well care of his home. The bonus, Smokey the guard cat. So friendly and loving, but will let you be if you're not into cats. He never goes into the pool house and though I am allergic to cats, I had no issues. Our family ended up searching for him so we could pet him. Speaking of family, I was iffy on renting someone's home due to having a child. As soon as I met Tommy, that fear went away instantly. He was warm and welcoming to us all. Thank you Tommy. Tommys place was absolutely amazing. Better than pictures showed. The price for the facility was very good. The location is centrally located for the Leesburg and Mt. Dora area. The host's welcome and helpful hints about the area were great. Definitely will return to do some boating and touring the area.

Where to begin. Our stay at Tommy's Lake House was amazing. Tommy's place is beyond clean, everything was spotless and organized. You have everything you need and the space is cozy, unique, and beautiful! The view of his lovey pool is stunning and the neighborhood is quiet and situated around a gorgeous lake! Tommy himself is BEYOND kind, accommodating, and friendly. He welcomed us with open arms: showing us the property, giving us local tips, and welcoming friendly conversation. We couldn't believe how well kept, and stunning he kept the entire property. We slept comfortably and were pleasantly surprised by the availability of toiletries, coffee, and extra bedding! We only wish we could have stayed longer to share more time with Tommy and his exceptional place. If I could give this rental over 5 stars I would! Thanks, Tommy- God bless!

The Owner (Tommy) is a perfect host, very friendly and obliging down to earth gentleman... and his cat is gorgeous :-) The Poolhouse is extremely quiet and comfortable for up to four persons (two couples) with more than enough space for everyone... The neighborhood is lovely and perfect for explorations of the nature. But beware of the alligators at the ponds :-)

This is no ordinary travel trailer, it's a mini home filled with personal touches designed for guests comfort. Kathy goes beyond the norm to guarantee a great experience. From the fresh flowers and bottle of wine on arrival to superior amenities and fast responses to all inquiries and concerns, you can't help but have a wonderful stay. I would recommend the Happy Camper to family and friends and plan to book this site for future visits to the area. Kathy has definitely earned her super host status!

It was perfect for what we needed.

The space is small (which was expected), but just what was needed for the perfect 4th of July weekend get away. Kathy added some much appreciated welcoming touches & fresh flowers (thank you so much!). Although we always bring our own, the additional sheet provided as a couch cover for pets was an added plus. Best of all, the AC is super cold and there is plenty of super hot water. The location of the Happy Camper/trailer is convenient to everything, and is in an RV park which was not overly crowed. The peace and quiet of the area was perfect. Only two small items that were not a plus, but nothing that's a deal breaker for the stay (and yes, we plan on returning): 1. The awning of the camper is zip tied shut, so there is no shade or covering from rain, if you want to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. 2. Just make sure that you park under the tree closest to the stop sign, otherwise the pine tree drips "pine sap" on your vehicle and it's extremely hard to remove. Eustis, Tavares, Leesburg and Mt. Dora are such beautiful little towns with breath taking parks and there are numerous weekend events. The "Combat Cafe" is a Veteran owned/operated breakfast/lunch cafe, less than a mile away, which is a must (we always love to support local small businesses).

The Happy Camper is a great place. I went on a quiet weekend but I heard that it’s usually bustling with activity. I would recommend it to someone who is going out and about sightseeing but not for an unplugged getaway.

Walk in and its just perfect for 1 or 2 people. The bed was comfy. Everything was clean. There was WiFi, snacks, water in the fridge. The whole experience was wonderful.

Very good experience, the landlord's son is very enthusiastic and cute

From my first impressions until we left two weeks later, we felt at home. There is even a sign above the door that reads, “Home Sweet Home.” Our accommodations were a half a house and everything is new; from the apartment itself to the furnishings. There is even a sleep number bed! Our host, Jimmy provided us with a bowl of fresh fruit, a water fridge for hot and cold water, and bottled water. We had an issue with internet service but our host promptly replaced the router and all issues were fixed. The location is residential on acres of land. If you want to stay away from the tourists, this place is off the beaten path. Be sure to visit Renninger’s and downtown Mt. Dora.

My family had an amazing time. We got to see fish,lizards, a snake and 2 baby alligator! We thought for sure that being on the canal there would be a ton of spiders and mosquitoes, my family of 5 had a total of 6 mosquito bites with no spray. We had no issues with spider either. We loved the enclosed back porch area. The canal was amazing to sit and absorb nature while drinking coffee!!!

Adraine’s place is super cool and extremely comfortable. You can tell she’s really thought ahead about what people might need or want and gone the extra mile. Very nice to have the canal right in the backyard! Adraine herself is also fantastic, she was extremely helpful and kind leading up to and during our stay. Highly recommend!

You will not be disappointed. This place is fantastic especially if you like to fish. It was great having a covered boat slip about 25 steps from the house. The canal on which the house is located is absolutely beautiful. Shopping, restaurants, gas, groceries, very close to the house. The properties location is perfect if you are fishing the harris chain of lakes. The hostess of the property is great with communicating with you. Very quick response time. The back screened in porch is huge and great for just sitting and relaxing at the bar. Great place to even have a fish fry which I did. I would give this place a 10 star.

Jerry and Stephanie's place is very clean and the location is so close to lake Minneola or getting right onto HWY 50. The bed is comfortable and the area is very quite. The hosts are very responsive and very helpful. I would defiantly go back!

Cozy comfortable visit. All the necessary extras were provided. Communication was prompt and caring. The view from the patio is awesome especially under the stars. Convenient location to beautiful historic cleremont and Sunday farmers market is a must. All within walking distance.

If you want a pleasant, cozy & relaxing place to stay in Clermont, FL, choose Jerry & Stephanie’s place! They’re excellent hands-off hosts who provide a clean apartment with a private entrance and off-street parking. The apartment is furnished well & the bed is comfortable. You’ll also have fresh towels, a fully operational kitchen & tasty snacks, provided by your hosts. Access to the local bike trail to Winter Garden was easy as is the proximity to Universal Studio’s City Walk. There are local places worth checking out such as Clermont Brewing Company, Energy Lab Coffee & San Jose’s for Mexican fare. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & hope to visit again.

Best location ever! Near bike trail, lake front and historic area. You can spend days touring or biking in the area. The apartment has everything you need to cook and enjoy meals “at home.” A comfortable bed and walk-in closet make the bedroom great. Wonderful!

Lori and Bill are wonderful hosts! The camper is decorated so cute. You will feel comfortable and right at home the minute you walk in. They make you feel like family and are very kind and generous. Lori spoils you instantly by having a plate of delicious spring rolls for you upon arrival. You will not be disappointed. Both are very caring and kind people. I would highly recommend staying there.

This was such a quaint little place! We loved being close to amenities but not in the center of town. The hosts were wonderful and provided us with so much, whether it was drinks in the fridge or local tips. If we're ever back in the area, we'll certainly stay again!!

Unique Glamping Experience If you ever went camping with a travel trailer or RV, Lori’s little gem of a trailer will bring back many fond memories. If this is your first time, well just enjoy your adventure. Lori has stocked the trailer well and it has a lot of charming little touches. Now if you have never lived in a travel trailer, keep in mind that they are very space efficient but the unit works well for two people who really like one another as there is not much private space😜. If you have read other reviews you will already be aware of Lori’s infamous and delicious spring rolls that she provides on day one...yum yum. The sheltered outdoor seating is very cute and gives you some extra space to chill out in. Lori is a “super super” host as she really is passionate about providing guests with a great experience. The unit is just a mile or so from The Villages Brownwood Paddock Square with free nightly entertainment where you catch a good band and dance the night away or just sit back and enjoy the music! If you want a unique Airbnb experience, Lori provided it with love.

Upon arrival, Lori had appetizers ready for us after a long day of traveling. Lori and Bill are great hosts. Very knowledgeable of places to eat and visit. The RV was exactly what we expected. We loved this little clean, cozy space. Loved her decorating style. Oh, and the bed is so comfy, as someone else described it - like sleeping on a cloud. Had some family members joins us at our place for a cook-out, they loved it too.! We will definitely return.

Loida is a wonderful host. Friendly, creative and full of surprises that made our stay fun, comfortable and relaxing. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Perfect location close to The Villages, restaurants and stores.

Hands down the best host! Don't let the "RV" thing keep you from enjoying probably the best value around. Super convenient to all the villages has to offer as well as a reasonable drive to the theme parks and beaches. The RV has anything you could possibly want, and if it's not there, it will be the moment you text. It's not the Hilton, there's no duck walk at 6, and if doubling up in the shower is your thing, sorry. Other than that, quite possibly the most comfortable AirBnB / hotel / glamping I've ever done. Seriously... If you've read this far just go ahead and book. Also.... Wait till you look around before going to the store. WELL stocked!!! Safe area so no worries in that department (I grew up 4 miles down the road and have never felt unsafe in the area the RV is in) if you like interacting with hosts, you'll love this. If you like privacy, you'll love this. She's flexible like that!

Adorable! Made me realize I could live in one of these. Everything you could want or need. And let it be known that the forceful shake of your bed that wakes you to a thumping heart during the night is fortunately NOT a ghost, but your comrade just moving or walking in the other room! So a little shaky lol, but otherwise so fun and different, and great location.

My stay at Angie’s tiny home was wonderful. The area this place is located in is very peaceful and this place was perfect for me. The hosts were easily accessible and the place itself was very clean and comfortable. I absolutely would stay here again and I highly recommend this place to anyone reading this.

A great place for our weekend getaway. Angie personalized a binder for us with local restaurants and things to do. We really appreciated the snacks and coffee. The tiny house had everything we could need and more. We enjoyed our view from the back patio and from inside the living area.

Angie is a spectacular host! The place was immaculate and just right for my husband and I for the weekend. The vibe of the house is so warm and cozy but clean and open at the same time. The little decor pieces create a warmth and comfort that most rentals just don't provide. The door code made checking in and out easier than I could have imagined. She left us some protein bars and oranges and the most delicious coffee with organic cream. Little details that just add icing to the cake. We will definitely rent from Angie again next time we want to spend a weekend at the springs. Highly recommend!

Kathy‘s tiny house is a wonderful place to stay at Mount Dora. We would have liked to take it with us for our further trip around Florida, but unfortunately Kathy had to deny this... ;-) Kathy is a wonderful hostess, and a very nice person. She always offered her help when she noticed that we might need it. We really enjoyed the time we spend there! Especially we loved to wake up in the morning and keep on laying on our bed and watching the trees and the blue skies and listening to the birds through the big windows surrounding us. :-) Thanks so much Kathy, we will definitely be back when we return to Mount Dora! This is the perfect tiny house vacation! An Escape Boho Tiny House Vacation in Mt. Dora, super clean, comfortable, and private. You get your own fence, all windows have blinds, and in a nice neighborhood. I had a wonderful night there, slept very comfortably, wouldn't hesitate to come back and recommend it to others! This tiny house is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mount Dora. The owner Kathy has created a wonderful, private space for you to relax and enjoy the quaint little town. We arrived late on a Friday night. A parking spot was saved for us under a little awning in the driveway. A cart on wheels already out for us to use. Kathy also came out to say hello and welcome us. She was very kind and welcoming and let us know that anything we need, we can let her know. We walked though a gate into a private fenced off area of Kathy’s yard that held the tiny home along with a tastefully decorated outdoor area. The key was already in the door so we went in and got settled. We took a quick tour around the grounds. We never used it but there is a small fire pit and a bench behind the tiny home. A perfect spot to enjoy the cooler weather. The tiny home is practically brand new. It was clean and also decorated beautifully. It has everything you need, from a small kitchen with a few items to cook with to a tv hooked up to netflix/Hulu and other streaming services. There are plenty of places to sit and relax in the tiny home but the bed was pretty comfy. Everything was freshly washed and the whole experience was just cozy and comfy. Kathy’s tiny home is located very close to downtown. I’d say less than a 2-minute drive. My girlfriend and I spent our 1-year anniversary here and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a unique, pleasant and welcoming stay near Mount Dora, look no further. Stay in this tiny home!

We had a wonderful time staying in Kathy's tiny house to celebrate our anniversary. It was exactly what we wanted. The space was incredibly cute and clean with lots of little touches. Would love to stay there again.

Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. Very clean with great amenities: comfortable bed, in-room fridge and microwave, full access to kitchen, washer and dryer, and common space. Conveniently located to many restaurants, shopping, and activities in a safe well kept neighborhood. Jeilyann was a great host, very friendly and responsive in her communications. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great large room with large private bathroom! Check-in is through one of the hosts, and a key is given. There is a private entrance/exit on the side once you have a key which is super convenient when having to lug things back and fourth and not wanting to got through the main entrance each trip :) Mini fridge and microwave are included with some other kitchen options. If you get cold easily bring warm clothes or a blanket for sleeping! Personal preference :) Massive walk-in closet was perfect for hanging clothes. cami

Had a great stay here. The home is larger than it appears and there are nice touches through out. The location is great! Close to pools and Lake Sumter and Brownwood Squares. The golf cart is a fun addition for sure. The Host was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Jim's place was very clean and had every amenity you would need. lovely lanai with ceiling fan. multi charging station for your phones. golf cart, washer, dryer a plus. Jim was very prompt to answer any questions. Easy checkin with a combo lock. Great location. We will return!

Right off the bat the communication was quick , clear and responsive. By the time we got there everything was on place and ready for us. The house was warm , clean We immediately felt at home. Jim was always available via text/ email ( thing is, Jim foresaw everything a guest needs , so we enjoyed our vacation with little interaction with Jim) Golf cart , 3 TV’s , washer/ dryer, full kitchen with basics provided , and Cleanliness of house all added to a wonderful vacation spot. We will definitely come back

Troy's cottage is a fabulous find for a stay in Mt Dora. The place is just as advertised and it's good reviews more than justified. Troy kindly agreed to a late check out. The cottage is cutley decorated and the path up to the cottage is well lit with lanterns and fairy lights. It is a short drive to both the centre of Mt Dora and Tavares. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Cute private cottage. Funky colourful interior. We stayed there to ride bikes for a week around Mount Dora. Loved the rainbow eggs. Loved the garden and the tropical setting. The porch was great for outdoor eating. Cats are also super cute. Troy was very helpfu and communicative. A beautifully decorated, sparkling clean, romantic getaway. Bradley was a wonderful host who was quick to provide some great dining suggestions. Easy check in, close to town where there are lots of little shops and many different dining options, some with outside dining areas with a lake view and spectacular sunsets. Great place!!

Expect a spotless cottage on the lake with a comfortable bed, privacy, a nice living space. A small desk to use for your computer and a small table to eat in the kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, blender pots and pans and cleaning essentials. Nice seating area with a couch and two chairs The bathroom shower has great shower pressure and a robe if you need after the shower. The whole place is warm and inviting and we enjoyed meeting our host. He was helpful with local restaurants. A one mile easy walk to downtown Mt Dora or a quick car ride to Tavares.

As an Airbnb host and frequent guest around the world, my expectations are high. Bradley and Gary completely wowed me with their Casa Marigold experience. Everything was high-end, stylish and comfortable. La Casa helped me unwind and I had the personal retreat I've been dreaming of.

Casa Marigold is beautifully appointed with many personal touches. It is a delightful cottage and Bradley is most welcoming and helpful. The cottage has everything guests would need to have a memorable stay.

Thank you Brad, This was the best we have found in Mount Dora. Our home away from home. Comfortable and clean in every way. Loved having a mini kitchen so we didn't have to eat out all the time. The location is very good. Easy, simple check in and out. Parking was perfect! No stairs or hills to climb. Everything you could ask for and more. Big screen TV with lots of options for viewing pleasure. Hope to come back next year.
