Our trip was enhanced by Kim's knowledge of the area. Thanks to her we were able to find all the art shows and enjoyable events int area. She offered a lovely breakfast each morning and we enjoyed having our coffee on the patio. Spending time with her in her home gave us the opportunity to view & appreciate her artwork

Sleepy Hollow cabin is a rustic gem in the most tranquil setting. Waking up to the view of the pond and trees in the morning and seeing the stars at night is such a treat coming from the NJ/NYC area. We grilled some kabobs on the gas grill and enjoyed some wine on the porch. Our son loved catching frogs in the pond with the net Tim offered us to use. A quick drive to Mystic which has a great aquarium for kids, cute little shopping village, and activities and restaurants near the water. Also close to Foxwoods casino, though we didn't go because we were with our toddler. Tim and Linda are phenomenal hosts and the cabin is such a peaceful place to escape. We highly recommend a stay here!

Sleepy Hollow cabin was a great choice for a relaxing getaway. The interior is beautifully done with such great attention to detail. My boyfriend loved fishing in the pond and I loved the location. We took a day trip to Newport and went to Westerly, RI area the following day. There is a lot to do in the area from the casinos, wineries, Rhode Island and Mystic. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

The cabin is completely new and has all one could think of when staying in the tranquility of North Stonington. Fantastic bed and bathroom, new gas grill on the deck, beach chairs with an umbrella you can borrow. The host will do anything to make your stay wonderful and has been living in this area all his life so they can direct you to the best spots for the beach, restaurants and other activities. We strongly recommend this place and hope to be back some day.

Top notch facility and the view is breathtaking. Tim was very communicative and went out of his way to make everything perfect. This is a dream cabin for a quite stay. Highly recommended.

You thought of everything. A binder with all the local menus was awesome. But also having pans if I wanted to cook was a nice touch. Your cottage is absolutely amazing. This was my second time there. I can't wait to have an opportunity to stay again

Joshua was really helpful and was easy to communicate with. The house is adorable, and could definitely fit a lot of people comfortably. It was a 10 minute drive to the state beach, where we spent most of our days! There were great restaurants close by to go to. Amigos Taqueria Y Tequila is right in downtown Westerly and the food was amazing. There wasn't air conditioning and a few of the nights it was pretty warm both downstairs and upstairs. Overall this fit our needs, you can't beat the price, and it was a positive stay.

Looking at outside, wouldn't realize there was lots of room with multiple kitchens, bathrooms. Easy access to highways and beaches. Host is very welcoming with coffee/tea and cream in fridge! Towels, linens-- all ready.

Joshua was an excellent host. He communicated and treated us very well. Upon our arrival, we found an unexpected gift to compensate for the sidewalk construction that was happening in the neighborhood along with a wonderful selection of breakfast food in the refrigerator! The house was adorable as well!

This cottage is one of the best finds on AirB&B, possibly the best we’ve ever found. The only depressing thing was we couldn’t move in and stay there forever. The owners were real easy to work with, informative, and friendly; and the location is perfect.

We were charmed at first sight. The guest house was exquisitely decorated and the setting was beautiful. It was just a short drive to the adorable towns of Stonington and Mystic. It truly felt like a get a way, Erin was a very gracious host.

Erin is an excellent host because she communicates well, respects privacy, and is attentive to guest needs. The cottage is more beautiful than pictures can show. The bathroom is elegant and luxurious. Uber was readily available to the beach and casino. I highly recommend this AirBnB!

The cottage was lovely. No kitchen, but there was a microwave, toaster and mini fridge.

One of the nicest listings we've had the pleasure of staying at. Clean and spacious, the huge bathtub and steam shower were a hit with the family. Just as the listing says, it's fairly close to a number of local attractions. Erin, the host, was very welcoming and helpful.

Vicki's boat is a cool place to stay for a night or two. Might feel cramped beyond that, although it's surprisingly surprisingly roomy even for a really tall guy such as myself. Lot's of nice hidden touches including salad and drinks in the fridge.

These accommodations were exactly as described. The boat with clean, and was very comfortable. We met the neighbors, and it's in close walking proximity to all the great things mystic has to offer. Will definitely be back next summer!

John gave us a warm welcome. Once we arrived and went into the apt. we were pleasantly surprised. John came to greet us and went over where we could find anything we needed for our stay and pointed out interesting sights for us to see and eat in the downtown area which was just a bike ride away. John also provided us with helpful literature to guide us around town. All in all we were very happy with our stay. It was quiet, clean and cozy!! John's private residence was the perfect little home for us for a weekend in Connecticut. It was much nicer and more affordable than any hotel in Mystic, and we loved getting to know another seaside town in Connecticut. John had a fridge stocked with fruit, jam, milk, and eggs for us, as well as coffee, english muffins, and cereal. It was very nice to have these as we came in quite late the night before. The bed was comfortable and the skylight shining above the bed was great for getting us going in the morning!

We absolutely loved our stay here. John's apartment was perfect for our needs- kitchenette, dining area, big, comfy bed, huge skylights, back deck with grill, comfortable and (URL HIDDEN) was great. We came here to get out of the city for a few days--it is the perfect place to get away, especially if you don't have a car. The town of Stonington was just right: quiet, peaceful, quaint. Everything was a short walk from the apartment, including beach, pier, and a surprising array of great restaurants. John was incredibly hospitable, providing food/sight-seeing recommendations, maps, breakfast foods, and even fresh-cut flowers from his garden. John lives in the attached apartment and made himself available if we had questions or needed help, or even wanted to borrow his beach chairs! We had a wonderful time laying by the ocean, antique-ing, visiting the many coffee shops, and having drinks at sunset. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Me and my wife decided to find a place fairly last minute in the New England area and settled on the Stonington/Mystic area. This was our first visit to an AirBnB, and not knowing exactly what to expect, we were overwhelmingly pleased with our entire experience. John's place was very well kept and clean. When we arrived he met us and answered our questions about the area and gave us some ideas for places to eat and visit while we were in town. I would definitely recommend John's place to anyone considering a charming little loft to stay in, and for the price it can't be beat!

Staying at Johns place was very cozy and homey. We loved the neighborhood and John really did think of everything to accommodate his guests.

John was very welcoming and helpful, providing info about the local area as well as all the basics in the mini-fridge. Everything was exactly as listed.

1st communication from host after check in was to request a prospective tenant to view our space. THis was awkward and unexpected. The unit was not clean as it should have been. There were several ants which we killed in the kitchen

Fran was a wonderful host and her dog Oreo was adorable and friendly. The guest room was very cozy and comfortable and made us feel right at home. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we had a blast enjoying the pool. Fran went above and beyond with making sure we had everything we needed including a fully stocked fridge!

We had a ball at Fran's lovely home. The accommodations were quant and the surroundings were lovely. Her home is close to the aquarium, old mystic village, the beach, the velvet mill and great restaurants. Fran is kind and so warm and accommodating, and nothing beats a dip in her pool! Fran Robinson is a wonderful host. Her home is beautiful inside and out with lovely grounds, gardens, a built in pool, and inviting gazebo. We enjoyed our private bedoom, bathroom, and eati g area very much with its French Provencal flare. We also appreciated the extra treats in the frig. Fran and her dog Oreo are a d elight and our stay was very enjoyable.

Fran was a sweetheart host & made us feel immediately at home. Our room was well-equiped: stocked refrigerator, Kuerig, microwave, toaster oven, fresh fruit & flowers. The room was very clean & cozy. We spent much of our time outdoors at various nearby scenic sites & towns and the room provided us a comfortable place to rest & sleep on our return. Grounds are immaculate.

Upfront communication was timely, helpful, friendly and flexible. From the outside, cottage was cuter than we anticipated: the nicest home on the street. It served our purpose well: a cheaper alternative to staying at the casino during a three-day dance competition at Foxwoods, which is about a 20-minute drive away. Inside, the home is quite lived-in and cluttered with personal belongings, which felt a bit Goldilocks. Most off-putting was the large number of "adult" books prominently displayed in the kitchen and in the bedroom where my teenage daughter slept. Fine, I suppose, when renting to a couple, but not so much for families with kids or teens. We really only used the cottage as a place to crash at night, and for that, it was quiet, with convenient off-street parking. Wish we'd had warmer weather and more time to sit on the well-lit front porch and relax.

You can expect a super clean and lovely decorated home with the most comfortable beds. Definitely a great value.

We couldn't have asked for a better more at home place to stay than here. It was a wonderful vacation spot, close to everything and very accommodating in general. We loved that you were so energetic & sweet. This was our first Airbnb vacation home rental and it couldn't have been any better. We would recommend this cozy beach cottage to everyone. Very cute place. The owner clearly enjoyed restoring the house (recently) and decorating it with bright cheery colors. She was also very responsive to questions and good at confirming.

We had Grandma and aunt visiting from abroad, and took a trip to Mystic, along with wife and our 4yo. We stayed at Cher Ami cottage. We loved the house ! For Grandma and aunt, this was a completely new experience. Miss S. was there to meet us when we arrived. Very lively and thoughtful host ! The house is located very close to Miscuamicut beach, which we went for a full afternoon on a weekday. Mystic is about 30min drive along the scenic route 1 drive, which Miss S. guided us. Cher Ami is the entire first floor of this lovely house. Every single square inch is beautifully and lovingly arranged and decorated. There is wifi, and lots of "goodies" in the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Waiting for us was cold local craft beer ! Plenty of towels and pillows. The entire family had a blast in our two night stay !

Great place to stay if you want a impeccably clean comfy spot to see the area. Close to everything!! Great bedding and beds; well equipped kitchen and so many special touches I wouldn't even know where to begin! Would definitely stay again!

Great spot close to fab local beaches. Plenty of room. No wifi was a bit difficult but better to unplug when you can! Jameson was really enthusiastic and great to work with.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. We were in town to have a small getaway with other family members (staying at hotels near by). Check in was easy and perfect considering we weren't exactly sure what time we would be arriving. We stopped in Mystic, CT on our way into town and it was very easy to get to from there. The house is adorable! A little hard to find various kitchen needs, as the cabinets have a lot of things in them. Beds were comfy. Not a lot of sitting room. Perhaps moving the couch in the small sitting room could allow for people to at least sit on the floor. There is no internet or TV, which was fine for us since most of the time we were out with family, but had it rained, etc. it could have been beneficial to have. This house was perfect for what we needed...a place to sleep, eat and chat with our family. We had some questions about procedures for what to do with garbage, linens, etc. when leaving, but I just sent Jameson a message and she was super quick to respond! All in all, it was a great stay!

This place is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to walk to so many shops, restaurants, and attractions. It's also the cleanest Air BnB we've ever stayed in! It was hard to fit everything in to a weekend so we'll definitely be back and hope to stay here again!

Will was Gerde in gardening when we arrived and also has the same even helped carry up the bags. The apartment is a dream. The view from the bedroom over the Mystic River to dream! Unfortunately, the ice cream shop was opposite geschlosssen, but that did not detract from the positive experience. It was wonderful and Mystic is a place of enlädt to linger. A very dreamlike retreat, everything is within walking distance to reach and explore. We are coming back!

Will was quick to offer his downstairs accommodations, when informed we had an elderly guest. He was very thoughtful and informative of specific layout, hazards etc. Hr was a friendly host, but gave us our privacy. We found the cottage comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The view from front porch and bedroom window of Mystic River was spectacular!

Will and Liz are great hosts. Very pleasant and helpful. They had great suggestions and always greeted us with a smile. The house was located within walking distance of downtown Mystic, the aquarium, movie theatre, restaurants and the shipyard. Great location. The apartment was well equipped and nice and clean. We will be back.

Will and Liz were the best!! They made us feel so welcome as soon as we met. They scrambled to make the place perfect after a late check out and it was! They are lucky to be "locals" and shared exactly what we wanted to know to feel like locals as well. The pics don't do the place justice. Everything you want it to be. Warm, scenic, immaculate and a perfect location. I'm 6'4" and the "low" ceilings were never an issue. We will be back the next chance we get!!

Great and confy for a weekend escape!

Great place! Will is a super nice guy and has done a fantastic job restoring his building and creating a cozy upstairs apt. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Will was gracious and accommodating. He made sure he did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable.

Location was perfect, right across the street from the beach! Nick was great and easy to keep in touch with :) I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect spot for a beach weekend

Mark and Sonja are very kind and helpful hosts. They pointed us to the kind of place we wanted to eat dinner and to the beach. They set us up with the movie we wanted to watch in the evening, treated us to a delicious evening snack and morning breakfast. The two bed room was perfect for us as mother and son traveling together.

The house was exactly as pictured and our host was in constant contact when needed and not invasive. She provided great local suggestions in the area and was up to date with communications. Thanks for much for making our stay and vacation memorable.

The town was very comfortable and clean. We couldn't even tell there was a neighbor next door. The home was conveniently located within a 15 minute drive to the beach and 10 driving minutes or less to shops and restaurants.

Excellent communication! Rosa was available and checked in very friendly. It was an easy process beginning to end. Clean and cozy home. Excellent amenities and great location. Would definitely stay again. Only thing to note and it's not negative just an fyi for any future guests. There is no television in bedrooms which actually was a nice break! Was worried about kids but they were so exhausted from beach they crashed. Can't say enough how wonderful Rosa and her home are. Perfect vacation!

Our stay with Rosa was superb. The house was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We loved sitting out and grilling on the back patio. The beach pass made logistics going to the beach very easy, and Rosa gave us great recommendations for local food activities and nightlife. Rosa was very welcoming, made a point of coming to greet us when we arrived, and made herself available if we needed help with anything. Thank you, Rosa, for a great stay!

Cute, very convenient

It is obvious that Rosa takes the time to really think about the guest when renting out her home. The place was nicely decorated and it truly felt like a home, rather than a space someone was just trying to rent out. Rosa provided us with everything we could possibly need and more, from plenty of towels to games and movies. The house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood not too far from beaches, restaurants and shopping. Rosa was also so nice and easy to communicate with, I would certainly book with her again and/or recommend her to others. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was awsome C was so nice and gave the shirt off her back. Area very nice house very clean. She was very nice and offered anything out of fridge n in kitchen in moderation, then cooked breakfast in the morning couldn't have had a more comfortable stay.

The room was exactly as pictured! The hostess had every detail laid out for us: from wifi to walking directions into town and even left a list of places to eat. Thank you C for opening your home to us.

This experience was traumatizing to say the least. I arrived with my husband and my brother and sister-in-law (who had rented the other bedroom for the night). Check-in went great. C let us check in a little bit early since we were going to a wedding and needed to be in and out quickly. She seemed like a very nice host, made us feel at home for the night, even offered up her snack cabinet as I am 8 months pregnant and she thought I might be interested. A few things to note: C had taken her dog out for a walk and wasn't back by the time we had left so we left the back sliding door unlocked as we weren't sure she had a key with her. I had wanted to do my hair while the others were getting ready so I borrowed a free standing mirror from my brother-in-law's room and was fully planning on putting it back before we left the next day. Then there were 2 things unbeknownst to me. I guess my brother-in-law had taken a bench from the kitchen and placed a dry towel on it to use as an ironing board, not damaging it or anything. And I guess my sister-in-law left a wet towel on a pillow in her room. I am not defending these things, just simply noting that these things were not in MY room nor did I even know they happened. We arrived back to C's house at around 11:15pm where she was waiting for us at the door. My sister-in-law and I were alone at the time and we weren't even let a foot in the door before we were aggressively confronted about the bench being used, the mirror and the towel. C began to raise her voice and swear at us. My sister-in-law explained it was her husband that had ironed and yet she still proceeded to be rude, loud, and condescending towards us. When our husbands came inside she became more unhinged and even got in my husband's face with her fingers in his face and is now claiming that HE "physically intimidated" her. All of this going on and I am here obviously sober, very pregnant, and having a full on panic attack when she then says she's calling the police even though we said we were definitely leaving. The police arrived and everything finally felt safe for me. They were lovely and helped us gather our things safely and depart. I then had to drive home for 2 hours at midnight. Sure, there were things that were touched or left in the rooms that clearly upset her but the way she handled the situation was absurd and made me feel very unsafe and terrified. The way the situation was confronted by her left no room for resolve at the time. Not to mention she saw the things that bothered her in the other room but still attacked my husband and I about them....

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room and house were both very clean and nicely decorated. It was a safe neighborhood with private parking. This was a positive experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at C's place! The room that we stayed in was very tidy and comfortable, and there were some great books on the bookshelf too. This is the first airbnb we've stayed in where there's a copy of Infinite Jest on the shelf. C and her butler (Ezra) were great hosts -- incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great conversation and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended if you're traveling anywhere near Westerly -- it was an easy and scenic drive over to Newport. We also appreciated the breakfast C put out in the morning and wish we could've stayed longer to chat (and play fetch with Ezra).

Connie is a great host-- spotless place, excellent coffee in the morning, very personable. If you want privacy, no problem. If you want to talk for an hour, that's not a problem either.

Great place! I have spent a lot of time in the Westerly area for Summer and if your dream is to stay on the beach but your reality is you have a budget, this is a hidden gem. On the waterfront, but a quick (10 mins) ride to the Westerly shores. House was immaculate and nicely set up. Loved having 2 bathrooms on the second floor. Hosts were only a message away if we needed anything. Don't let the train tracks scare you. It goes by for about 10 seconds and isn't that bad. Never woke us up or bothered us. Caleb & Amanda really put a lot of thought into renovating this place and having it ready for us. I would definitely book again with them.

It was a very nice house, close to to everything your heart would desire for a stay near the ocean. I would stay again.

Had a lovely stay at Calebs and Amandas with some friends. The location was close to a concert at Misquamicut beach and situated right across from Pawcatuk River. We enjoyed playing bocce ball in the yard and utilizing the picnic table outside. There is an Amtrak train that runs close to the house but we did not hear it at all night. The inside of the house was quaint with updated furniture and appliances. We we're a little let down there were no basic pantry items (like salt and pepper) in the kitchen. This was probably because we were some of the first people to stay here. Everything was extremely clean. The mattresses were very comfortable in the bedrooms upstairs. Could not say the same about the pull out couch though. All and all we were very happy with our choice to stay here!

The house was very clean and was furnished with new appliances and furniture. The beds and linens were very cozy and we were very happy with our stay. The house has nice water views. Caleb was very easy to communicate and quick to respond to any questions I had about the property.

The home is comfortable and charming. There is a cupola where you can sit and have coffee in the morning. The cupola has a magnificent view of an estuary and a sail boats. There is an out door shower which we enjoyed after coming back from the beach. The property is fenced and private. It was great.
