The Walker House was built in the mid-1800s as a private home by Henry B. Walker who was wise enough to capitalize on all the clay in the soil in Maine and owned 3 brickyards. Now on The National Register of Historic Places, the house is located just over Portland townline so you’ll enjoy the space, quiet and safety of a family-oriented area with just minutes to the center of town.
  • Very stylish apartment, I would definitely recommend to everyone

  • The place is very warm! We really liked the decoration, everything was well indicated and we had everything we needed! The place was super clean and it offers on-site parking, which we very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend!

  • This space was uniquely beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed, Maine books, tv and extra kitchen and bathroom essentials as needed. And was incredibly great for our dog (fenced in yard, extra sheets, toys etc). All the touches really showed Pete wants your stay to be both comfortable and memorable. We would book again in a heartbeat.

  • Pete was a wonderful host with excellent communication. The loft was clean and cozy! My friend and I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

  • This is a thoughtfully curated space full of curiosities and delightful visual touches. Pete is an excellent host!

  • Wonderful location and space. Pete was super accommodating and responsive. It terms of amenities he thought of everything.

    Ashley2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What an absolutely charming apartment. The studio is huge and has absolutely everything that a visitor could want or need. We had a very short spur of the moment trip to Portland and felt very lucky to have found an apartment that was pet friendly with a fenced in yard. I will definitely go back to Portland (great little city) and when I do I hope to be able to stay again at this darling apartment.

    Joanne2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Pete's place is the perfect space for a quick stay in Westbrook and AWESOME if you have a dog. The fenced in back yard was fantastic and the loaner chew toys were much appreciated (we loved the artwork, by the way...).

This comfy Suite is part of an older New England style home with all the charm, located just outside Portland Maine...Short walk to downtown Westbrook and river park..
Located 5 minutes from shopping and 15 minutes from historic downtown Portland/waterfront.. Approx 1/2 hour to nearest ocean beach and if your looking for fresh water recreation, the Sebago lakes region is about 20 minutes away..The nearest mountain to snow ski is about 45 minutes driving time. Also, only five minutes away from the new “Rock Row” amphitheater, scheduled to open at the end of May 2019. Many musical groups are already confirmed to play there.
Located on dead end street in a nice neighborhood.
  • I had to come to Portland last-minute for a few days and wanted a private space but was also hoping to not have to pay a ton. This place fit the bill perfectly! The suite is roomy and comfortable with plenty of amenities. It was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated. Check in was easy and communication was good. The house and neighborhood were quiet and I had total privacy. The bed was very comfy, I actually slept better there than I have in months at home! The location is not at all far from Portland or from beach towns like Scarborough and Old Orchard Beach and it is way way more reasonably priced than what you will pay to stay right in those places. I will gladly stay here again the next time I visit Portland!

    Lara2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place was very clean and offered everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

  • A great place that felt like home

    Edward2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • A very nicely appointed apartment that is super clean and easy to access. It's a little out of the way of the Portland downtown but not unmanageable. I was pleasantly surprised.

  • Everything was great. Nice, quiet and convenient.

    Robert2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • A great stay! Really comfortable. I underestimated the drive into downtown Portland, but that was my own lack of research. It was a perfect stay and would totally stay again!!

  • You want to have a coffee machine. Is not that great? And everything else what so great. It was very clean and beautiful. We had so much fun. But if you come from Germany: Do not forget the adapter for the socket. :)

    Natalie2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Nice spacious comfortable apartment. One of the best Airbnb apartments we’ve stayed at.

    Sara2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! Michael was incredibly easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. The space itself is so well put together and little details are clearly thought out. We loved being able to walk to Portland Pie, Big Fin Poke, and Mast Landing. The parking in the back was an extra plus! We stayed here between housing situations, but the next time we have family or friends coming up to Maine for a visit, we will definitely be recommending Michael’s place!

Small, but cozy. The nooks, crannies, and eaves give a great sense of comfort, thus the name. Our smallest and most affordable room, the Cub Cave is nicely decorated with Hitchcock furnishing throughout; including two chairs w/ rushing seats, lamp, bedside stand and single twin size bed. Finishing out the room is a writing desk, library style bookshelf, and two braided area rugs.

  • Beautifully unique house and a very friendly host.

    Nathan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, funky place to stay. Older folks might not like it as there is a bit of a walk from the car park and there was plenty of snow. I had a great time, slept well even though it’s close to the road, and really enjoyed the communal breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

    Lisa2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place was a little empty when I arrived, because it was the off-season, but I had a great stay. Easy parking, and a great kitchen and parlor room. Scott was very helpful and quick to respond whenever I had a question.

    Theo2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a wonderful experience. I couldn't recommend it more. At the end of a long trip north, Mark's hospitality was such a gift. Careful details, a delicious breakfast, beautiful period features in a spacious and friendly and engaging atmosphere only a short drive from the Portland train station - I can't wait to book my next stay!

    Anna2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great b&b with with rich heritage and knowledge host!

    Dmitriy2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far the best experience I have had with a host. Mark was kind and communicated effectivly. He was both patient and empathetic to my needs and gave me the upmost care. The place itself is historical and beautiful looking over the icy river front. Highly recommend.

    Stephen2019-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome late 19th century mansion, loaded with historical DNA. Mark is a great host and provides a nice breakfast to get your day started. If you're lucky to meet him, he has lots of anecdotes and stories to share about the house and its surroundings. A must stop by if you go thru the area. Mark is EV friendly, and let me plug-in my Tesla for an overnight top-up. Will definitely stop by again when in the area.

Spend an evening brewery-hopping, then sink into the floral, French-style sofa in the burnt-orange lounge with oriental fabrics and cartoon prints. Perch on a chunky stool with a relaxing cup of tea, then settle down in the bold teal bedroom.
The apartment is on the first floor. There are two entrances with five steps each. It's a nice space with original art on the walls and oriental carpets throughout. The back door leads to a private deck that is all yours and the deck leads to the pool!
The house is within 15 minutes of downtown Portland and downtown Westbrook, which is home to breweries and restaurants. There is a Dairy Queen right around the corner.
  • Beautifully decorated apartment within a short drive to downtown Portland. Loved the vibrant color and eclectic decor. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was immaculate. Definitely would recommend staying in Flyns space next time you want to visit the area!

    Molly2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place was absolutely gorgeous! It was super colorful and well put together. The bed was very comfortable and the entire rental was spacious and warm. I would definitely stay here again! Flyn was very responsive and checked in with me to make sure everything was going well. Wonderful place!

  • The place is a short drive to downtown Portland. We loved staying here

    Candy2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Artfully decorated, well laid out, immaculately kept apartment with creative, fun design touches, and thoughtfully provided potato chips, coffee, beer & quality toiletries-- plus easy access to downtown Portland. Flyn is a great host with an eye to detail & hospitality.

    Lisa2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We loved everything about this place. The apartment itself was very stylish (we loved the furniture and artwork) and full of nice touches. The area was lovely and quiet and well located for getting into Portland. Flyn was a very friendly and helpful host. We would definitely come back next time we return to the area.

    Chris2019-10-12T00:00:00Z

So named because this room gives the feel of a room in a classic Maine island or lake cottage, the Cottage Room houses two twin beds, a corner nook with a writing desk, and under the eaves are a love seat and coffee table. Natural wood finishes and pastel colors give this room that light faded feeling of years past. This sun-drenched room has spectacular river views from all windows.

  • A last minute booking and check in was a breeze. This place is a great value with so much character!

    Vanessa2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Nice bnb with a nice host and great breakfast. Easy to check in and nice with a pool table as well as a jacuzzi

    Oliver2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The place is gorgeous, clean, safe and the rooms are cozy. Its location is also great, not too far from town and fairly close to a few convenience shops. The only issue we've had was the noise generated from the factory across the street, but then again, there's nothing either our host or ourselves could do about it. Other than that both the place and the host get a solid 10/10. I would recomend The Elms to anyone who's traveling to Westbrook or Portland.

    Mayra2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • The Elms BNB is a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable stay for a great price. The house itself is a beautiful Victorian style home with a ton of character and charm, just a quick 10 minute drive from downtown. The host, Mark was an absolute delight and truly welcoming. He made sure we always had what we needed and even went out of his way to leave us breakfast when we told him we would be hitting the road quite early. At the time we were the only guests staying at the BNB, so he upgraded our room with no extra charge. I look forward to visiting Portland again in the future and I would gladly stay at the Elms again

    Maddison2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • We booked this place very last minute on a fairly strict budget and fairly unorganized itinerary. Drove from South Shore, N.S., Canada with plans to spend the next day in and around Portland. We showed up to an empty inn, where Mark greeted us graciously and upgraded our room for us. The place is full of fun amenities (hot tub, pool table, etc) and breakfast was a perfect way to start our day! We enjoyed everything so much that we decided to book the place for a second night approx. 20 minutes before checkout! Highly recommended!

    Carly2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • My best stay for life with Airbnb. The mansion (which is actually an old water mill), is of great historical and architectural beauty. One may be surprised at the location in an industrial district, but that is precisely what makes it so charming (in fact it is a manor house erected during the paper industry). She has a beautiful old-world charm. In addition we were alone in this great mansion! Marc, the manager was an amazing host. He advised us on the docility of the area, and the activities. He is very invested in the happiness of his guests and the heritage of the place. In the morning, he waited for us with a homemade lunch (waffle, sausage, fruit), and drew us the map of Maine. What a nice attention! In short, the quality price is great (with the free spa at any time and billiards without a beautiful English-style lounge). What about art deco-inspired showers! In short I recommend and I would love to come back. Thank you very much Marc!

Cozy & newly renovated barn, across from trails and the Presumpscot River. Over the line to Portland -there is so much around for restaurants, music venues, beaches, lighthouses and nightlife. Barn is located in a quiet area to relax on the back deck with a glass of wine star gazing. Lots of beer breweries within walking distance. Short drive to the Old Port (Uber-$10) or check out the waterfront - there is much to see and do. Yellow barn is set back to the left of white ranch-don't miss it!
Portland has a lot to offer for winter fun. Not only will you be staying near breweries, but there are walking trails that turn into snow mobile trails and cross country skiing in the winter months. Shawnee Peak is within an hour's drive for day and night skiing. Portland Head light along with other light houses are abound in the area. You will find lots to do within Portland - museums, restaurants, planetarium, nightlife, and the list goes on. Or, find yourself relaxing near the fireplace with a good book and glass of wine. There is also a lobster pot with all the accessories to have your own clambake right at home.
We are just over the Portland line a in rural setting. There are walking trails across the street. Allagash Brewing Company along with other breweries are within walking distance or a short drive. Hannaford grocery store along with other shopping are minutes away. Old Port, Portland is an Uber request away for about $5-$7. (5 miles) We live in a quiet area but can be within minutes of where the hubbub is in Portland. Enjoy a glass of wine on the back desk next to a warm fire star gazing. Your stay here will be memorable.
  • The Barn was wonderful space, very well equipped, with communicative hosts all while enjoying our privacy in a lovely setting. This stay is a short Uber ride to Old Port with many great restaurants and plentiful quaint shops. My friend and I will definitely plan a return trip!

  • Diane and Joe’s place was a gem - cozy, comfortable, and clean, with lots of thoughtful touches, like fresh cream, coffee, quick breakfast items, and toiletries. A well-appointed rental. Checking in and out was easy, and communication was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend, and perhaps stay again!

    Rosemary2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Was the perfect "home away from home" for a quick trip to Maine. Very cozy, welcoming vibe, with low-key hosts that let us do our own thing but were available at any point if we needed them.

    Monica2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean space and quiet location. Very convenient to Portland.

    Katherine2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • While the "barn" is situated a little back from the road, and may take some extra caution looking for it, the location of Diane and Joe's home is convenient to local attractions if you are looking for some fun, and also private and quiet if that is what you are looking for. The house is a uniquely renovated barn that could not be more comfortable. Snacks and coffee are available and added a special touch. Diane and Joe were very responsive while allowing for privacy and peace and quiet. I would highly recommend the stay.

    Mike2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The owners respect your privacy with the barn just behind the house. We enjoyed the loft with the spiral staircase. Good location close to Portland. Thanks for sharing your cute barn.

    Joel2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • What a fantastic space within such close proximity to downtown Portland! Will absolutely stay here again. Great loft style with all the amenities and quick, friendly communication from Diane & Joe.

  • Gorgeous! I rented the barn for a 30th birthday get away and it was everything I hoped for and more. I went by myself, but it can accommodate numerous guests. It was clean and welcoming and the check in was effortless. Even more beautiful than the pictures. I’m already planning to come back! I HAVE to bring someone to show them :)

Close to all Vacationland has to offer, but in a quiet neighborhood. Canoe or kayak in the Presumpscot, sample world-class beer at Industrial Way or dozens of other spots (check your fridge), indulge in Portland's food scene - 15 minutes from the Old Port, head up the coast or to the Lakes Region, or just relax and enjoy the comfort of the apartment or the fresh air on our deck.
You can truly have it all in this location. Our neighborhood is the perfect home base for your Maine adventure. Whatever your pleasure, you're not too far from most of Maine's major attractions, even a trip to Boston!
Our neighborhood is a throw-back where kids play in the streets and we help each other with chores. The greater neighborhood has restaurants, breweries, rivers and lakes, beaches, mountains, forests, fields, farms, minor league sports - you couldn't pick a better home base to enjoy all Maine has to offer. Less than 5 miles from I-95, the airport, Highland Lake, East End Beach, Casco Bay, and the Presumpscot River in the backyard.
  • Would deffenitly recommend, the space was just as pictured, and Elliot was a great host, provided fresh baked goods, gave advice on places to eat, and was overall very friendly

    Timothy2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was decorated so nicely. It is a cute cozy space. The hosts have thought of everything. There are toiletries in case you forgot something. There are games and area information in the living room which was a nice touch. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood which was great. We never heard any cars or any other noises. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable as well as the futon in the living room. I would highly recommend this rental.

  • This place was amazing! For adults, and a puppy, stayed here for two nights and we could not have asked for a more comfortable space! It was spotless, and had everything you could possibly need and more! Loved that we could bring our puppy and that there was a fenced in dog kennel! Highly recommend!!

  • The Red Barn Retreat was everything we expected and hoped for. It was clean with all kitchen and bath accessories that you'd need. We didn't use it but there's a washer/dryer in the bathroom. The apartment had plenty of privacy and being at end of a dead-end road the neighborhood was very quiet. It was pleasant to sit in the living room and watch the birds and squirrels feeding on the porch. We weren't disappointed that there were homemade blueberry muffins waiting for us.

  • This is our second time staying at Jaclyn’s place for a reason. Great stay!

    Tj2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Red Barn Retreat was the best I could have asked for. The moment we stepped through the door, we knew how special it was, and how much time and effort Jaclyn put in to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. Jaclyn was prompt in replying to my questions, and she went the extra mile by leaving us some delicious homemade muffins. The property itself was gorgeous, and we had a nice, relaxing time.

  • Great stay, good find.

    Matthew2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at The Red Barn. We found yummy banana muffins waiting for us and a clean, cozy apartment with a well stocked kitchen. The tv channel selection is really limited and may be a drawback for some people but was not a problem for us. We even caught a glimpse of the turkeys in the back yard in the morning. No complaints and would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to this area. I recommend The Red Barn Retreat.

  • The red barn retreat is amazing. It is cozy and feels like home. We had a wonderful weekend exploring Portland and were grateful to have a comfortable and welcoming place to come back and relax at the end of the day.

Recently renovated, cozy barn sleeps up to three people. Located in Westbrook, it is just a 15 minute drive to downtown Portland. This attached barn has private entrances that opens out to a sunny shared deck and backyard that is frequented by an energetic 4-year-old, a big friendly dog, and their favorite toys. We welcome guests of all races, religions, genders, and sexualities who are interested in enjoying this space of ours in a peaceful, kind, and friendly manner.
This is a renovated carriage house/barn attached to a 1900 colonial with all the charm and character that comes with it (less than level floors, snug stairs, steeply sloped roof). Downstairs features full kitchen and comfortable living space including TV, Roku (with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime), Wi-Fi, desk for work-space. Upstairs bedroom has Queen sized sleigh bed, AC unit, and 3/4 bathroom with shower. The yard has fruit bushes, a fire pit, a swing set, and a deck with outdoor dining.
Quiet, residential neighborhood on the Portland/Westbrook line. Our neighbors are close and friendly. We are 12 minutes to Wharfs and Restaurants, 15 minute drive to downtown Portland. 10 minutes from the airport, major highways, Maine Mall. 30 minutes to the beach.
  • Lovely spot! We visited Portland for our honeymoon, and this space was a perfect getaway. Lisa was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable about great restaurants and beaches. The neighborhood is quiet, parking is a breeze, and Westbrook has good restaurants even closer than Portland. I will note that the air conditioner in the bedroom is pretty loud, but we didn't mind the white noise at night. The bed is very soft -- I was a little nervous that my back wouldn't appreciate it as much as the rest of me did, but it turned out just fine and we slept like babies! Thank you, Lisa!

    Deborah2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • An all around great stay at Lisa's place! We stayed there to explore Portland and Lisa's place was our perfect recluse only a 15 min drive from the main attractions of the city. I highly recommend the place and loved the cosy feeling and the great hospitality!

    Waseem2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was the best Airbnb I have been in so far! Lisa seemed to think of everything that someone staying there for vacation might need! We would definitely come back to stay again!

  • Wonderful place to stay!

    Joe2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place is exactly as described in the listing. Clean and adorable! We stayed there 4 nights. It was warm a few days, but the bedroom has a/c which was a big help, it is a bit loud though. The entire place is cozy and just feels like home. There’s a deck and fire pit for guest to enjoy, although we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of them. The drive into Portland is about 10-20min (depending where your going) and Uber/Lyft was easy, costing between $9-$15. Lisa was a great host, left coffee, pasta/sauce, and cold water for us upon arrival. When I had a couple of questions, Lisa replied in a timely manner. Our paths only crossed once quickly during our stay and it was very pleasant.

    Jennifer2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Would definitely recommend! A great place to stay while in the Portland area.

Our home is located in a very safe area of Portland, the historic Stroudwater neighborhood. Our suite offers the best of both worlds - quick and easy access to the hustle and bustle of d-town Portland for a full and exciting day and a quiet place to retreat in a suburban setting to escape the noise of the busy city. Our environment is family friendly - perfect for families, or a couples/friends get-away. We have also hosted many travel nurses - a great fit! Many guests have stayed here to catch an early morning flight or a late arriving flight, we believe this may be one of the closest airbnb spaces in PORTLAND to the airport. It would be difficult to get much closer as it literally takes only a few minutes to drive to the entrance. A guest favorite is seeing our lovely golden retrievers - especially our guests who have had to leave their own pets behind. We do recommend only guests who are dog friendly book our accommodation. During the warm months, enjoy coffee in the morning on the back deck while you listen to the song birds sing. My husband is a bird watcher and knows how to attract all of the bird varieties that the birders in the local bird sanctuaries seek. We have many varieties including blue birds, indigo buntings, Baltimore oriels, hairy woodpeckers, etc. In the evening, the back deck transforms into an Austin, Texas - inspired deck lit up with the soft glow of cafe lights - the perfect setting to enjoy a quiet glass of wine under a star-filled sky. Also, within walking distance are Portland trails - these are great running routes (just bring bug spray). Our space is not suited for parties and is not a meeting place for outside guests. Please respect these rules as they are reinforced. This space is licensed by the City of Portland STHR-001077-2019
Stroudwater Village is one of the most established areas in Portland located on the Southwest region of the city. This area is very safe and family friendly with a suburban yet historic feel, with the lovely neighborhoods, neighbors walking dogs, joggers, trees and hiking trails nearby but is also very close to the Maine Mall, Airport, Concert Venues, Thompson's Point, Downtown, Grocery Markets, Hospitals, Westbrook & South Portland town lines, as well as main interstates I-95 and I-295. Trailhead access to Portland's hike and bike trails system is available within walking distance. The suite is located on the main street vs. development setting.

  • Bryn's place was great! It was so warm and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout. It was the perfect spot to stay while visiting Portland. We will definitely be back!

    Brendan2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • I live in Portland and chose Bryn's place for my mom to stay, so you know it had to be extra special! The room is spacious but cozy-feeling, the bathroom is modern and super-clean, the setting is peaceful, and my mom said she got a great night's sleep! Bryn is such a nice person who made everything easy for us. This would be a fantastic place to stay if your flight leaves Portland early in the morning. It's so close to the airport, yet unlike airport hotels it's in a park-like setting. Mom had a great stay and in the future we will send all our visitors here!

    Charlie2020-02-29T00:00:00Z

  • Plenty of privacy, easy check in. Amazing hospitality and the cutest pups!! Heating system works amazing. Such comfy pillows!! Great location.

    Alyssa2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible experience! For someone that travels for work Air B&B becomes a lifeline for me. But without a doubt this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had on the platform. The beds are super comfy and having the privacy of a separate entrance makes the stay feel much more like you have the entire space to yourself rather then the typical “private room” experience. But what really sets this location apart is how incredible the hosts are. Bryn and James were in contact with me every single day to make sure that my stay was perfect and to assure that any issues I had could be resolved quickly. (keep in mind I had absolutely 0 issues the entire time I was there.) As well as giving me recommendations for places to eat and see while I was in the city. For someone that travels as much as I do; this kind of experience can be hard to come by. This will be the first place that I check for availability every time I come to Portland and would recommend this location to anyone traveling in the area! 10/10. 5 stars and the best experience I could ever ask for!

    Tyler2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • The easy check in, the great location and proximity to the airport, the comfortable bed and clean bathroom, and the morning coffee, make this a place I will return to again. Great value. Good people, no surprises.

My place is close to family-friendly activities, public transport, the airport, the Maine Mall, Portland Trails for hiking, public tennis courts, track, walking distance to a grocery store, downtown, Riverbank Park. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the quiet family neighborhood, and the light. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. There is a full bed, and a cot. Full closet, a dresser. Bedroom is 2nd floor, private bathroom - 1st.
Your bedroom is a sunny room, with a small love seat size couch when not used as pullout bed - for the separate sleeping option there is a cot which is more comfortable and will be fine for a night or two. Your bathroom is a large bright room with all the necessities. You have access to the kitchen, fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher, washer/dryer and the living room with a Smart TV and electric fireplace.
Close to everything yet suburban! 5 mins to the mall, 10 mins to the airport, 15 mins to downtown Portland and 25 mins to the beach (by car). Tennis courts, nature trails, running track all within a 5 min walk! Side street off a main road, so it's quiet but convenient. Lots of green!
  • Adorable house and clean room, easy to get to downtown by car or bus. The room was very clean. Olga was very sweet and quick to answer all of my messages, she gave me very good directions and she made sure I had no problems checking in. I have nothing negative to say, keep it up! :)

  • WOW!! This was my first time using air bnb so I was a little skeptical but this one went way beyond any expectations I had!! Olga was incredibly kind, and responsive. She gave us the privacy we needed while also being available for any questions. She even left out a couple cookies for us to enjoy! The room was better than any hotel I have ever been in! It was absolutely spotless. I was blown away by the cleanliness, I wish I could get my house to look untouched like hers. The mattress and bedding was incredibly comfortable and luxurious! The bathroom was spotless and had any essentials we needed. I felt incredibly comfortable in her home and will be sure to book with her again!!

Room was nice, with a place to sit and read. Bathroom is downstairs, but private. Bedroom is upstairs.... This was a nice easy stay..... Have no hesitation in booking this Airbnb.

A mix of cozy with modern touches, this just-renovated space is what you've been searching for! Come couples and small families, it's much more spacious than a hotel room and has far more character. We are located near quaint Deering Center, right outside the hustle and bustle of the city; a short walk to UNE graduate campus. We are on the bus line with close walking and biking paths. We've set this space up for you! So, whatever reason brings you to Portland, be our guests!
The entire apartment is set up for guest to be travel-friendly and convenient. Washer and dryer outside the unit, on the same floor.
  • Clean with plenty of amenities. Easy 10 minute drive to Old Port. Would certainly stay again.

  • We had a wonderful trip to Portland and made even better by this wonderful Air BnB! It’s in a great location, about 10 minutes to downtown Portland, very clean, and many amenities including lots of blankets and toiletries. The apartment is great for a couple, friends, or family. It’s very nice to have a full kitchen as well! There was coffee for the Kureig machine, water bottles in the fridge and even candies around the apartment! Thank you for a great trip-would definitely stay here again :)

  • This place was so much more than we expected! They had every little detail covered! We had privacy the whole time and were able to do a load of laundry before we headed back home. • Lucie's place has been one of our favorite places to stay. Our favorite airbnb in Portland wasn't available and we were worried we wouldn't find something that could compare. So wrong! What a beautiful place with a fantastic host. The king size memory foam bed is high quality and incredibly comfortable for all types of sleepers. The space was roomy, airy, and bright. The color scheme is incredibly soothing and her attention to detail (countless towels, bottles of san pellegrino, dove chocolates, water purifier, incandescent lighting, etc.) made us feel so pampered. Some past visitors have noted that hot water can be a little scarce and it's true--but we found that keeping the time of two consecutive showers under 20 minutes total allowed for enough! Parking directly in front of the house was very easy, the space was well secured with an electronic keypad, heat worked perfectly (with a space heater available in the bathroom too), everything was thoroughly cleaned, lots of cookware and dinnerware, stocked bathroom for every possible need, etc. With a location just about 15 minutes outside Portland and such a reasonable price this is a steal. We will be back.

    Olivia2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Such an incredible place to stay. The attention to detail was amazing and so thoughtful. We will definitely be back!

    Rachel2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect! So clean, cute, and GREAT location. We were close to everything we went too. Perfect space for a dog, nice yard in the back. All of things things you could need were provided and more!!

    Hal2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • This stay reminded me why I love Airbnb so much ~ Lucie takes hospitality to the next level with quality furnishings, thoughtful decor and generous offerings. I've been traveling with my dog on the road for the past 3 months and have stayed in many Airbnbs... this was by far the cleanest, most generous and most comfortable. Big pluses for us were having laundry available, lots of free street parking, spacious room to relax and work, and a super comfortable bed. Thanks so much, Lucie ;)

    Jenni2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lucie’s place was better than you could imagine! Such a cute place with the perfect “home” touches to make you feel very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!!

    Nicole2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Lucie’s airbnb. We loved the neighborhood and there was plenty of space to park. The place was very spacious and comfortable. We came with our son (one year old) and he had plenty of space to play. We also enjoyed the sun in the backyard. In short: a perfect place to stay!

    Lies2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lucie’s home is wonderful for a getaway in Portland! The space itself is clean and very nicely decorated. Lucie also provides amazing amenities above what is required. We will definitely be back!

The Summer House is a cozy getaway cottage - up the hill from the Presumpscot River and walking trails, and a short walk from an active small downtown with live music venues, local breweries, and great restaurants. It's setting, The Farm at Conant Homestead, is a budding permaculture farm with goats, pigs and chickens, only twenty minutes from downtown Portland, and ten minutes from the Portland Jetport and the highway. The shady Summer House looks out over the garden and fields.
The Summer House is a one room cottage with huge screened windows letting the breeze flow through (note that there are no actual windows but with the roof overhang no rain comes in - only the breeze). There is a comfy queen-sized bed and sitting area with couch and chairs. Not a full kitchen, but a corner nook has a fridge and coffee/tea set up. We provide granola bars for the morning and some local brews for the evening. The door leads out onto a large yard with perennial gardens, with the circle vegetable garden, fields and micro barn for the goats nearby. The outdoor shower, a couple of steps away, has an on-demand hot water heater and can accommodate two. There is a composting toilet in a separate room in the shower shed.
The Conant Homestead sits on a quiet tree lined street off the main road coming out of Westbrook. It is a 2/10 mile walk to downtown Westbrook where there are lots of coffee shops, restaurants, live music, a library, the Saccarappa Falls, and a bus hub to catch a bus to downtown Portland. The Portland Jetport is a ten minute drive, it is a five minute drive to Interstate 95, and it is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Portland.
  • The Summer House was spectacular and a little bit magical. The screened room was homey, spacious, and had everything you could need to serve as a home base while you explore the surrounding area. The composting toilet was efficient and the outdoor shower was SUCH a treat--I really enjoyed it! Malory and Michael were welcoming and super friendly (and the goats, pigs, and chickens were, too!). Whenever I had a question, they were really quick to respond. I had a great time and I'll definitely be booking again in the future!

  • Wonderful space. We loved the summer house.

  • A very airy and open natural space, with a beautiful river nearby. Perfect for a warmer weather getaway.

    Paul2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Malory and Michael were amazing hosts to us. A genuine feeling of being welcome and safe was one of the first things we noticed upon arrival. The adorable room tucked away behind their home was open and airy, yet filled with necessities such as a refrigerator and wifi. Our experience with the outdoor shower and composting toilet took a minute to figure out, but was seamless. This experience was great for our one night stay, and was within 20 min or so from the city of Portland.

    Anthony2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't be happier. Perfect farm stay experience with lovely accommodations and amazing hospitality by hosts.

    Brian2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • We were very happy with the warm hospitality and these charming accommodations. The Summer House was exactly what we had hoped it would be! The hosts were available to answer any questions and were easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we find ourselves in the Portland area again.

    Scott2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the Homestead in Westbrook was incredible! We loved visiting with all the farm animals. The location was great - you can walk into Westbrook, or it's just a short drive to Portland. The outdoor shower was one of the best of my life. We'll definitely stay here if we're ever in Maine again!

    Anne2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at Malory's summer home was nothing short of wonderfully heart-warming and welcoming. Malory and Michael were very kind hosts and even extended an invitation to a bonfire they were hosting that night. The room itself and the amenities were comfortable and east to use, the perfect getaway for a spring, summer, or fall getaway. The bed in particular was super soft and cozy, my partner and I wouldn't have wanted to get up at all it it weren't for wanting to go greet the farm animals in the morning. There's a really positive enriched and happy atmosphere to the whole farm; and it oozes out of every nook and cranny. It's clear they've put a ton of thought and care into the way everything works for their guests as well and it made our short stay amazing! 10/10 would stay here again

This lovely, light-filled cape is perfectly located for your Maine adventure! Minutes from the Old Port, close to highway/airport, with major road access for traveling into the mountains & ski areas. Or, relax on the huge deck with a drink, or in the hot tub off the deck. Fully applianced & stocked kitchen means cook what you want; yes, there's a kettle for mandatory Maine lobster! Whole house carbon water filtration means that what comes out of the tap probably tastes better than what you buy!
Lots of windows, lots of light. 60MB Wifi! Blu-Ray DVD player with an NAD/Martin-Logan stereo and a Vizio flat screen TV...hey, you might as well enjoy your time inside, as well! New excitement...two mini-split AC units are being installed in mid-June...yes, that means central A/C! Please note: This IS a pet friendly house. If you have pet allergies, this is not the house to book...my cleaners are great, but there is no way that they can make sure that you won't have allergy issues!
Aldworth is part of a small, quiet, three-street neighborhood with lots of trees and green space. It's minutes from I-95 and from downtown Portland, with easy access to the west and north as well if you like to ski or hike in the mountains. The people in the neighborhood are fantastic; we've all helped each other whenever we needed it over the years. It's important to me that my guests show them the same respect that I do...no really loud parties late into the night, etc. Thank you!
  • David's place was great. The location is very convenient to downtown Portland as well as many breweries and nice restaurants close by. We enjoyed the hot tub as well!

Hi there! I'm Eman. My family and I love people and making them feel at home! If you want to experience a sense of newness, this is the place for you :). We are Egyptian and Sudanese. I grew up in Cairo and moved to the states a few years ago. Come taste some staple Egyptian or Sudanese dishes, or have a cozy movie night-in! We’d love to have you.
Guests can use the living room area with the big tv, the kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom!
This place is extremely close to Portland, a popular destination in Maine. It is about 7-10 minutes away from both Portland and South Portland
  • Eman and her family are the epiphany of wonderful hospitality; they truly love to welcome people into their home.

  • Five stars on all aspects! Eman and her family are very kind and welcoming, and the room was large, sparkling clean, and with all comforts. I would come back without hesitation. Thanks again for hosting me!

  • Like staying with a friend! Just the right amount of convenience and privacy. Great value and the bed was so comfortable! We spent most of our time exploring Portland, and it was nice to come back to a comfortable room with an en suite bathroom. Eman and her family were very welcoming!

  • Great family. Felt right at home!

    Federico2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • As a relatively new host, Eman was extremely friendly, welcoming, and kind. She was very communicative and very easily reachable with any questions/concerns we might have had. She gave us a tour and we were able to meet the other members of her family. The cute bedroom we stayed in had a private bathroom and was a great place to stay for a night after a week of being in a tent. There was an air conditioning and small fan to accommodate the summer heat and the bathroom was very clean. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste were readily available.

    Hanna2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for 1 night was perfect would stay again

This is a newly renovated apartment on the 2nd floor of my building and is above an existing Airbnb unit that has been a great hit for the past 2 years and holds a 4.5 star rating w/ over 300+ reviews! It's in walking distance to everything Portland has to offer! It's an older building and has a lot character!
As old as the building is, the 2nd floor sags to the left when you first walk in and levels out to the center of the room and the 3rd floor bedrooms are level. We recycle in the entryway hallway, so you will see the bins when you walk in. Parking is as follows, there is parking for 1 vehicle, but we always tell our guests to check the street first, as it’s free parking and typically not an issue finding a spot in the neighborhood.
It's a safe neighborhood, with the Maine's largest hospital 200 yards up the street and the city's largest park 200 yards down the street.
  • My three friends and I stayed at Nick’s Place for a weekend girls trip to explore Portland! We had a great experience during our stay. This apartment was located in a great spot. It was within walking distance from many great restaurants and coffee shops on Congress Street, it is even right around the corner from the Holy Donut (the highlight of our experience). It is within walking from Commercial Street as well, but a little further. We walked some days but also took a quick cheap uber some days/nights! Overall a great location to stay if you are looking to be right in the heart of Portland! Nick was a great host! The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. The check in/check out process was super easy! We would definitely consider staying with Nick again for a future trip!

  • Easy check in and great location. Well worth it.

    Paolo2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent hosts and an excellent place to stay! The apartment was clean and easily slept all four of us. The location was an easy walk to almost anywhere in Portland and easy for an Uber to find if you needed one. I highly recommend!

License#STHR0011152019 Spacious 1 bedroom w/living room, eat-in kitchen and bath in ideal Portland peninsula location, walk to all. situated on the edge of the west end and downtown. 2 blocks from the ocean. Walk everywhere in this central, historic, perfect location. Easy street parking. Simple furnishings, older retro flair. 2nd floor of 3 unit Victorian on dead end, quiet street. Queen bed and futon sleeps up to four. There is no parking but often spaces are available on this dead end street
Please read carefully: This is a well-loved apartment in an 1875 building full of sunlight, with Hardwood floors and tall ceilings, you'll be in a classic Portland "triple decker" Victorian building surrounded by the stunning architecture of portland's historic west end. You can walk anywhere in town within minutes. Basic kitchen and bathroom essentials provided. One queen memory foam bed and one fouton can sleep up to four. Large living space-this is an older apartment with older kitchen and bath-it is simple-not luxurious or modern-but it is clean and in the best location. Please appreciate the value of my space-that it is affordable, clean and large, with a retro flare and in a very desirable neighborhood, walking distance to everything on the peninsula. however, be advised, there is no tv and towels do not match and I have never been to ikea. This is the 2nd floor of a 3 unit and the second floor walk-up has steep steps, consider this if you have mobility issues. One Window a/c unit in bedroom, radiator heat (steam heat=white noise which apparently bothers some) I live below and tenants live on the third floor-you will hear occasional sounds throughout the building from residents and even though it is a quiet street you may still hear people on the street (it is an apartment in a city-after all). There is no parking for air bnb-even though there is a driveway-the spaces belong to tenants...guests parking in the driveway for a few minutes to unload luggage is fine..guests have usually been able to park easily right on my street at no cost. Street parking is free on most streets in the neighborhood-Just read the signs as there are usually 2 nights a month overnight parking is not allowed on certain streets for cleaning. Guests arriving late in the evening may have trouble finding street parking. There is also a $5 daily parking lot on commercial street next to Irving gas station about a 3 minute walk. This is a quiet building and no partying is allowed. The apartment is located on a dead end street off park street on the right called Stetson ct-it is a block away from the landmark historic Victorian mansion on park street and danforth. Additionally, early check-in or late check-out can most likely be accommodated with a $20 fee. That said anyone staying beyond the 11 am check out for whatever circumstances will receive a $20 payment request.. Thanks
Portland's west end is such an amazing neighborhood, wandering through these tree lined streets filled with incredible architecture is one of my favorite pastimes. Smile at everyone out for a stroll and enjoy the beauty and character surrounding you. Rosemont market, oh no cafe, and speckled axe coffee are all staples of the west end. Commercial street is two blocks away and uptown or downtown are both 10 minute walks.
  • My sister and I stayed with Sharon last minute and it was the perfect place for us! Her space is simple and has a lot of historical charm. It’s in a great location- easy to get around and close to everything. Sharon was quick to respond and check in was super easy even when we got into Portland late at night. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Great stay in downtown Portland!!

    Axel2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon's place is in the best location in Portland! The house itself is incredibly charming and clean with thoughtful touches such as toiletries and dishware that plenty of other properties omit. If I ever find myself back in Portland I will be sure to plan it around when this property is available. An absolute fantastic value and superior experience! Thank you so much, Sharon!

The Captain's Quarters is a master suite located in a nice quiet residential neighborhood in the heart of Scarborough. It is close to the beaches, lighthouses and downtown Portland. This suite is set up like a small studio with its own door, a master bedroom, private bathroom and cozy dining area. We are Maine natives and live in the house. We love the area we live in and like to make ourselves available for advice on all the great sights and food the Portland area has to offer.
Life in Maine has always been linked to the water, whether it be Maine's plentiful lakes or the vast Atlantic Ocean. We wanted to create a space that captured this nautical theme.
We live in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. The area is great for walking, running and biking and we encourage you to get our and explore the neighborhood.
  • Katie was very accommodating. The place was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for what we needed

  • Immaculate space! Very quiet with thoughtful amenities!

    Wendy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful, bright, clean, peaceful spot in the trees with lovely views, yet close to all the amenities. Katie, Nick and their two little children are friendly, gracious hosts. We give it our highest recommendation!

  • Lovely room with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Extremely quiet room.

    Mary-Lou2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This little 1 bedroom is perfect for a couple or couple with baby (as we are). Katie had the pack n play set up for us and also a high chair which saved us from carrying extra items into the house. The place is so cozy, super clean and just right for a great sleep after a long travel day/week. Katie was so friendly and had lots of tips and info to share about the area. She even saved us with a battery jump when our car died!! The home is on a quiet street in a tucked away neighborhood, but within 15-20 minutes of all nearby attractions/towns. The entrance is through their main home, so you may get to say hi to one of her kids and smell yummy cooking! But otherwise it's private and lovely.

    Gina2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely ADORABLE!! My wife and I came for a babymoon and we could not have been more pleased. The place is filled with thoughtful touches, tremendous hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere. When we were out out on the town, we admittedly wanted to come back to our AirBnb! It's in a very convenient location, as it is just minutes away from downtown Portland! We are also just a short drive to the LL Bean store, which we went to twice! On a side note, my wife needed another pillow because she is is 22 weeks pregnant. Katherine went OUT OF HER WAY to make sure that my wife had another pillow. We just appreciate the hospitality and truly felt at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to experience true bliss in New England.

This unconventional 1,200 sq ft. artist’s studio is private, quiet, comfortable and quirky. On the first level is a large multi purpose table, 4 ft. antique sink, water closet, custom slate and stone shower, and TV with free Netflix and Amazon prime. 15 steps lead you to the large, sunny, spacious bedroom with queen size bed, large daybed, sitting area with two antique settees and a porcelain sink. The decor is a mash up of antiques, fleamarket finds, and new pieces.
I put 100% into making the space one that I would be comfortable in myself: private, quiet, clean, convenient and comfortable. I expect my guests to treat it as if it were their own home, respect the time and effort that goes into maintaining it and ask that they; - PLEASE be careful if eating or drinking on the couches or daybeds. If necessary, there are always extra blankets or throws that can be put down. It’s much easier to clean wine or chocolate off that then it is to clean the upholstery – do not not wipe anything on the towels that will not come out in the wash - the same with the bed linens – Lower the heat/air conditioning if you’ll be out for a considerable amount of time. Only leave on lights that are necessary. – Kindly be conservative with flushing and, please mademoiselles and señoritas nothing that could potentially clog some VERY old pipes
The property is on the outskirts of Westbrook 5 miles from the heart of Portland. It abuts acres and acres of undeveloped woodland. Although close to a major highway that can take one anywhere it is a quiet, safe “kids and dogs” neighborhood.
  • Pictures can’t do justice to the degree of character and individuality this space has; it’s absolutely delightful. It’s perfect for a couple looking for an unusual, fun space in the area, especially if you love that antiquated, refurbished vibe or the art studio vibe. Pete was also very quick with responses about questions.

    Chelsea2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The space is eclectic, rustic and filled with whimsical touches. Pete was very quick to respond with good humor as I arrived in the middle of a snowstorm! I would stay here again.

    Lorrie2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • It was wonderful staying in Pete’s carriage house for the weekend. The house was clean and quiet and perfect for two people. Pete was very friendly and accommodating, and the decorations around the house really show his personality and charm. Check in and check out was easy and simple and we were sad to leave our quiet getaway when the weekend was done.

    Taylor2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Pete’s place has so many quirky, fun things to look at. It’s a very warm, cozy place and I am so happy to have found this gem! I wish I could have stayed longer!

    Erin2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really lovely stay at Pete's place. He is truly a super host. Communication was easy and prompt. The space exceeded my expectations. If you're traveling with a dog, THIS is the place to stay! There were so many thoughtful touches that made travel with our pup easy and enjoyable: extra towels for paws, throw blankets to protect the furniture, flashlights for late-night walks, dog treats (!), a dog bed, and a fenced-in back yard. Beyond the dog accommodations, the bed is comfy, the location is easy if you're traveling through Portland, and the space is cozy and interesting to look at. We hope to stay again on our next trip that way. Thank you, Pete!

  • Loved the space and the interesting personal touches. Very accommodating to dogs.

    Krissa2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely loved staying here! The place was eclectic and had so many fun stories attached to the decorations. The personal touches were greatly appreciated, and made my first overnight travel with my dog a success. The communication was amazing, and Pete was extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend this place, and wish I was able to stay longer to learn more about the art and traveling attached to the decor.

    Gina2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • We HIGHLY recommend this rental, especially if you have a taste for the eclectic. There is so much to see. The light in the bedroom is amazing. Great place for an artistic recharge. • The carriage house was so charming and the view from the yard was beautiful! This was a great space for our small family get-together! Close to Portland (20 minutes) and plenty of space! There was a back patio space and fire pit (which we didn’t end up using since we were mostly out and about) but it was nice to have the option!

The outside space was perfect for what we were looking for. Jodi and her husband were extremely accommodating and helpful when we wanted to utilize the grill and fire pit. Highly recommend.

    Nicky2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures for Jodi’s place do not do it justice! The space is very stylish and contains a mini bar with coffee, cream, and sugar. We were greeted with donuts and warm beds to sleep on. The bathroom had anything you might have forgotten including toothbrushes and Tylenol. A must stay if you are trying to decide! Will definitely return if I have the opportunity!

    Carrie2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jodi’s pictures don’t do the place justice! Such a well decorated and cozy farm house feel. Although we didn’t spend much time at her place - she had ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!

  • Fun place. Cool architecture.

    Ben2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Elms was lovely! The check-in process was communicated thoroughly and was easy to follow. The room is on the third floor and was kept very clean. We loved the antique furniture throughout the home as well as the gameroom, which offers some pastime with chess or billiards. It is just 15 minutes drives from most places in the center of Portland, which made it easy to go to and from the location. We would definitely recommend the Elms for anyone staying in Portland!

  • This was our first stay at a B&B and our first booking via AirBnB. The booking process was really easy, communication with the host was easy, pleasant and clear. Once we arrived we got a very laid-back feel. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was very clean and tidy. It was quite warm up there when we arrived but the air conditioner worked well to cool it down. We attended a concert that night so we didn't get to spend a lot of time at The Elms for relaxing (maybe next time!) before we headed home the next morning. Breakfast was delicious (waffles and bacon!) and the cook was very friendly. I liked the family-style meal because we got to chat with the other guests a little in a comfortable setting. The cost for our stay was comparable to the local lower-end hotels but I feel we got a much better deal/experience for the cost by staying at the Elms!

  • This place is absolutely an experience in the best way possible. Beautiful architecture and decor. The innkeeper cares deeply that you have a perfect stay.

    Ambureen2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place; clean, made us breakfast, pool table, scenic river

    Ben2019-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was an AWESOME spot for our trip to Portland. Beautiful location on a quiet street. The porch was fantastic and we enjoyed the the entire home! I was surprised to find that each floor had only one bathroom. So, the "shared bath" is with several rooms and several people. That was a little challenging considering there were several people on our floor. However, I still would say 5 STAR place and wonderful hosts!

    Kathy2018-06-24T00:00:00Z

  • Angela was a wonderful host especially when it came to navigating a tricky situation. She responded quickly and was helpful and communicative.

    Aethena2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place to stay! It's close to downtown, close to Tandem bakery/coffee shop and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants that Portland has to offer. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is lovely, everything is so clean and self check in is easy with a combo lockset. It also has the cutest little travel iron we've ever seen. The listing is accurate, the spiral staircase is very fun but would not be easy to navigate if one was obese or had had too much to drink, especially at night. It requires a little focus and intention but we loved it! The availability of Netflix was a plus! Great little place!

    Vanessa2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable place, great location, fun space, fantastic shower. Bed was very comfortable.

  • Angela's place was very clean & cozy. It's a great location & she has so many nice touches that really make you feel comfortable & at home.

    Sara2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Angela’s place was cute and perfect for what we needed! The parking map was super helpful, as was the binder with all the local suggestions. The shower is great and I loved the spiral staircase - super cute! It was easy to call Lyft whenever we needed a ride and left the car parked in the street with free parking all weekend. Definitely a good spot to stay in Portland!

    Meghan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Angela’s description is exactly right! Port City is within walking distance to a lot of great things to do, see & eat. We love Portland and would definitely stay here again in the future!

    Julie2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Angela's place was great. It was exactly as described so there were no surprises! The apartment was small, but it was a perfect space for our time there. The bathroom was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. The binder that was made was such a thoughtful and helpful touch. I plan to stay here again during the summer months, but even in the winter it was still in such a walkable location. I definitely recommend this place!

  • Nancy's place is top-notch. Very clean, comfortable, spacious room. Nancy was very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended and would stay here again.

    Df2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy's place is so clean, stylish, thoughtful and convenient, it's definitely in my top 5 of Airbnb experiences. The room has so many nice touches to make it feel like home. The cats are very polite and friendly. And Nancy herself is so interesting and easy to talk with, I honestly wish we'd had more time just for that, but we never felt like we weren't getting enough personal space. Will definitely consider for next time. Ideal airbnb experience! Great location too!

    Carl2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy was warm and welcoming with a lot of knowledge of the area! Heated and weighted blankets were a plus!

    Jocelyn2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Nancy’s home was lovely! Nancy and her cats are wonderful hosts!! Her condo is in a great spot! Walking distance from necessities, 20 minute drive from Portland! Super convenient location! The house was very clean!! Nancy was lovely to speak with, but allowed my fiancé and I our private time as well! We had a great trip!

    Mackinzie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nancy’s place was perfect for my stay. The suite was quiet, clean, and had great touches: coffee and tea in the room, as well as books, games, phone chargers, anything you could think of! The bed was super comfy with the best weighted blanket :). Right next to the bathroom too! Nancy was very communicative and friendly while also offering me my privacy. The location was very close to Portland proper and right on a great road with a coffee shop in walking distance, as well as a brewery and restaurants. Very quaint walkable area.

  • I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this stay! I had to come to Portland for both business and a social visit and Megumi's place gave me exactly what I needed! First of all, the space is very comfortable - it's a full 1 bedroom in-law apartment behind the garage. It's spacious with a full kitchen and bath as well as cable TV! The entrance is private with parking right outside the door and lovely woods on 3 sides. It is so peacefully quiet! Check in/out could not have been easier and communication was prompt and friendly. The space was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable! The location is about 20 minutes from Portland and worth the short drive when you consider how reasonably priced Megumi's place is compared to anything within or just outside the city. I come to Portland at least a few times a year and will definitely stay here again and again!
