During your stay you will be located in a private area with a small creek behind the property bringing peace and tranquility. In this space there are outdoor areas for you and your friends or family to enjoy such as a fire pit, grill, outdoor patio and dining space. Inside you will find a calm and inviting space well stocked with anything you may need during your stay!

One hundred year old farm house that is newly renovated on 16 acres of Appalachian hardwood forest and pasture land and situated just 2.5 miles from the Hatfield and McCoy Trail System and 30 minutes to Winterplace. Located centrally between the cities Bluefield and Princeton, while being conveniently located two miles from Bluewell and just six miles from historic Bramwell, WV.

The Lodge at Welch - Little House

Welcome to the Lodge at Welch! Located close to downtown Welch putting you in the center of everything with short drives to dinning, grocery shopping, gas stations, and the car wash. Only minutes to access the Warrior trails and the Pinnacle trail connector. Home is completely renovated and you are sure to fell comfortable during your stay and can relax while you grill on the new spacious covered porch. There is plenty of gravel parking on premise for all guests vehicles.

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.

Then come drink hot chocolate next to the fireplace, or have a glass of wine while watching the sunset on the covered porch!

Home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 8 with 2 Queen beds and 4 twins. This home has all the amenities including a washer and dryer and plenty of parking for all of your machines. If you are looking for a truly exceptional vacation experience you will not be disappointed.

Take a step back in time. Rural America. Before fast food chains, and even before Walmart... Surrounded by Mountains and conveniently located, direct access to Warrior Trailhead and High Rocks. Enjoy Wilmore Dam, or perhaps a day at Berwind Lake trout fishing, or hiking. This can be purchased with the main house or as a stand alone unit. If purchased together the price will be reduced to $40 a night. Guest will have entire space to themselves.
