Super nice and spacious apartment in a vibrant neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. Carol and Marc were extremely accommodating , helpful and friendly. Super comfy bed too! Would highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at Carol and Marc’s place. I felt like I was at home or staying with relatives. That’s how comfortable and welcoming they were. The place was as described. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, very clean. Carol and Marc made great suggestions for breakfast and dinner. They went above and beyond what was expected of them. The bed was so comfortable. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have taken advantage of the terrace (next time). I highly recommend Carol and Marc’s place. This is the place you want to stay when visiting New York. Everything you can think of is just outside there door.

This is a large, clean and comfortable 3rd floor apartment with keyed elevator. Felt completely safe walking around at night. Very quiet street. Just 3 blocks to metro and trains taking you uptown. Great coffee shops and lots of cultures and cuisines to explore nearby. The hosts know every nook and cranny of the lower east side, so ask for their recommendations. Would stay there again.

This is a shared apartment. Marc and Carol live in the back when you are there. It is an amazing place in a great location. Marc and Carol are kind and respect your space and are also engaging if you are. It is a great way to feel at home away from home in NYC.

We really enjoyed our stay with Marc and Carol. They both are delightful hosts and had so many suggestions for us first timers to NYC. We were given a guide ahead of time of so many things to do, places to see, and places to eat. Check in was super easy and a bit early, which didn’t seem to be a problem at all this particular day. Marc gave a short tutorial showing us how to get in the building and how to use the elevator. It was great not to have to navigate stairs with suitcases. The apartment was spacious and spotless and we had access to everything we needed. Having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash already there for us to use was nice. Especially since you don’t have to pack it in your suitcase, which makes it a bit lighter for the airport. We didn’t use the kitchen much as we didn’t want to cook for ourselves, but it seemed to have everything you’d need if you did decide to cook. The internet was great and there were lots of choices for tv streaming services. After a long day of walking outside in the cold, it was nice to get back, curl up on the sofa with lots of pillows, have a nice fire in the fireplace, and watch a little tv. Only bad thing was that we didn’t have enough time to see and do all the things we wanted. Well, that means we’ll need to come back and we will have this fantastic place to stay!

This place is AMAZING - the pictures don’t do it justice (the tub is a jacuzzi!)!! Carol and Marc were consummate hosts, their hospitality generous without being intrusive. The location is so close to the subway, we were able to easily travel throughout the city with no trouble at all, and the area was and felt safe at all times. We can’t wait to return to the city and spend more time there!!! Thank you 😊

Ahhhhh :) what an amazing way to experience NYC. Firstly entering the apartment via an elevator set the mood immediately for the most new yorky stay ever! The apartment is amazing, all the beds all comfy, the shower lush, and the location brilliant. So much quieter than staying Central, which we loved. But not far away from anything! Close to subway and bus stops. And if you are tired (or have tired kids who don’t want to walk after you’ve been to the theatre) an Uber doesn’t break the bank to here either. Marc is just the sweetest gentleman and Carol is just lovely. Felt safe, felt welcome. Thank you guys :) I hope our paths cross again. Big loves xx

Jeffery was such a charming person to be with. He makes you feel welcomed and gives you all the attention you need. He makes great breakfast with excellent coffee. It was like staying at my friends place. He gave me tips around the area and I was traveling solo but I never felt lonely. Thank you Jeffery. I loved having conversation with you!

Another great stay at Jeffreys! He always goes out of his way to make my stay comfortable and easy! I love his cute boho apartment! Always inspires me with interior design ideas! Jeff is a wonderful host, who pays attention to details and is really dedicated to making you feel home! I really enjoyed talking with him, and he is full of nice tips for your trip in New York. His apartment is also very well located, Times Square is less than a 15 minutes walk away. On the whole, a great experience!

All around excellent. Jeffrey treats his guests as if they’re old friends. A great conversationalist, he feeds you, he even let me borrow a shirt so I wouldn’t be cold walking around the city. A very genuine, down-to-earth, and caring human being. His apartment is cozy and centrally located. Highly recommended.

Jeffrey was out of town but made it so easy to check in and out, and frequently checked in. The location was perfect and his apartment makes you feel like you really live in NYC! It was so cool and the bar next door is awesome. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in the city. Thanks Jeffrey!

I loved staying at Jeffrey's place. It's an older, what I'd call "classic" Hell's Kitchen apartment that's thoughtfully and lovingly inhabited by it's owner (who I didn't get to meet because he was out of town). Jeffrey's kindness was evident in his communication and in the vibe of his place. I'll be back soon!

The owner is very friendly and will answer any questions. The laundry in the basement is easy to use if you have a smartphone. I think you can have fun every day because there are cute dogs! !

FABULOUS!!! My son and I were in NYC for a 4 day weekend, for a dance audition. Craig was an awesome host, with great communication and recommendations before our trip. He was also very attentive, texting on our arrival to the airport and making sure that we got to the apartment. Michael was wonderful and made us feel very welcome and comfortable, even making us tea on the cool, rainy afternoon that we arrived. He is a Fascinating person, and we really enjoyed our many chats. His welcoming and chill demeanour made us feel like we lived there (honorary locals? ) We loved walking straight out of the elevator into the apartment, which is beautifully appointed, and eclectically decorated. A little zen-like oasis in the heart of NYC. The garden terrace was not open yet, but we still enjoyed it with the door open, and many windows with the beautiful foliage just outside. The bed was very comfortable and our bathroom was gorgeous and quite large. The location was FANTASTIC, close to the subway, Central Park, and numerous restaurants, many of which we enjoyed, with recommendations from Michael. We can’t wait to have the opportunity to visit again. A perfect experience from start to finish. Much Love ❤️

We needed to go to NYC for business and found this place on Airbnb , We grew up in Queens and the Bronx worked in Brooklyn for 15 years of our adult lives. I can honestly say, I have found a favorite part of the city for me is right in this apartment! Great restaurants walking distance, great sunlight streaming in the morning. Central Park , and the Cathedral are two of my most favorite places to be both walking distance. I’m almost afraid to give this place a get a review because I want it to be open so I can come back whenever I want. But if you want to live like a New Yorker for a few days this is the place to do it. the subway is right down the block,and you can be anywhere in the city so easy. If I ever run away from my home , just look for me there! And ..... Craig is the best host,life is good!

This is such a classic old Brooklyn apartment in the best location. I’m afraid places like this will be gutted and made completely new inside, like in Manhattan, losing all its charm. It is up 2 flights of stairs. The noise from the preschool didn’t bother us. There is street noise. But it has 3 bedrooms, a full dining room and a very comfortable living room with loads of sun and views and people watching. We were there during the beginning of the Corona virus, so we didn’t use any public transport, but we had everything we wanted within walking distance.

Location of this beautiful apartment is unbeatable! We spent days just strolling the streets and enjoying the many nearby coffee shops, clothing boutiques, and bars. A nice walk to McCarren Park is totally doable too. Thanks Ian!

Communicated well. The apartment was clean, quiet, love the fact that it's in the heart of bedford. We spent most of our time outside. But coming back to the apartment always felt cozy.

Sne is a wonderful host. The room was nice and cozy and very clean. It was also very quiet at night. We got some really useful tips on restaurants and other places to visit in New York. Sne even offered us delicious freshly baked bread. I definitely recommend to stay at Sne's apartment.

Just a fantastic place to stay with a wonderfully welcoming host in lower Manhattan. Convenient location , cool neighborhood, stylish, clean and surprisingly quiet room. Sne has truly mastered the art of air bnb hosting. I can't recommend any higher!

I would stay again with Sne. The place was very close to lots of different subway lines. There was lots of nice places to eat around the East Village. Sne also went above and beyond such as carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs, and offering me coffee in the morning. The room was lovely and spacious which was such a blessing. I would love to stay again

Sne's apartment is clean, sunny and super convenient to getting around the city. More quiet than we expected, despite having with a bar and a coffee shop steps away from the front door. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to the East Village and NYU, with easy access to the rest of Manhattan and even Brooklyn.

Reliable, low cost for New York. The host is very accommodating and has a wicked sense of humor! He has a little booklet filled with tips about the area and NY in general!

Sne’s place is absolutely amazing and Sne himself is awesome! The best Airbnb host we’ve ever had. Sne put together an awesome guide to the neighborhood with food recommendations and we had so much fun going on a food crawl around the East Village. He let us check in early, was super helpful and communicative, and was sooo friendly. The only “down” side to this is now we never want to stay anywhere else in New York! I would say this is a good problem to have. We will be back for sure!

Great apartment and an amazing host. Communication and check-in were easy. Great apartment location on the east of East Village. Building has an elevator which is nice. Apartment was clean, with good bed, shower and wifi. Reka was super nice, and I enjoyed hearing all about the movie industry in New York. Also, check out her excellent Chai Masala.

Reka is a NYC expert and really friendly. Hey apartment is location a stone's throw from all the action of the East Village, and Reka can point you in the right direction whatever your desiderata. Would definitely stay again.

As what it looks like . IS A PRIVATE ROOM didn’t mind sharing the space. Neighborhood is nice good food is in walking distance. Also there’s a lot if local community parks around every corner

Reka was an amazing host and great with tips and any help we needed. The place was adorable and the location was 10/10. The neighborhood is the coolest in nyc. We definitely recommend it and would stay there again! xx

Anna’s place was great! It was clean, had parking and loved the fire place and projector. Anna was always quick to respond as well. On the only thing is, it’s listed as an entire private apartment but it’s not, it’s in a private basement with other living above you. It wasn’t bad though but I would suggest to change the description. It was good over all!

Hans is the best host ever. This was a return trip for me, and it was just as amazing as it was the first time. Whenever I am working in this area I stay here. The hotels in the area do not have the best reviews, but at Hans I am comfortable and I sleep like a baby. The space is private, it is quiet the bed is super comfortable, if you have any questions Hans and Sandra are literally just a text or call away and very accommodating. There’s a space to cook, the lighting is great to do my makeup in the morning. The bathroom shower is utterly amazing with the option to sit down me just let the water wash the day!!! I highly recommend staying here I know I will be!!!

If I could give Walther 10 stars on a 5 star scale, I would! Walther went above and beyond. He cleaned the house daily, gave us new sheets every week, checked on you every day or two to make sure you were happy with everything. Walther is a very, very nice person. The house is clean, the shower head is AMAZING!! We had a common area for you to plug in your computer and phone while sipping a cup of coffee. Everything was awesome!!!

Simone's house was easy to access and well maintained. Check in was an easy process and Simone gave me lots of information about where to eat around town. She was always check to respond to my questions. Will definitely rent from again if I need to stay in the area!

This house is in a great location on a quiet street. Alessandro Vickie and Simone are great hosts, very attentive give and thoughtful. They also communicate very quickly and effectively. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. I would recommend and stay again.

Simone is a supremely gracious and accommodating host who will go out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. His knowledge of the surrounding areas and the methods to get to and from the city is extremely helpful. His house is situated a short car ride to just about any major mall or shopping outlet + easy and free parking is available if you need to get to the city (which is only 20 miles away or a 40min ride). If you need a place to stay for work and want privacy, this is the spot for you.

Simone's place was very quaint and perfect for what we were looking for. It's a great, affordable, crash pad as a home base for exploring NYC. She was very helpful with local tips and info about nearby public transportation.

Simone is a great host and the place was wonderful, exactly what I was looking for. I stayed 5 nights and loved having the use of a full kitchen, dining and living room. The apartment is very clean and Simone was extremely responsive. I will stay here again on my next visit and recommend it for short or long stays in the area. Very clean and spacious. Kitchen appliances are all brand new. Share refrigerator with 1 other roommate only. Host is extremely responsive to your needs. Couldn't ask for anything more!

RoczAnas place was just what I was looking. First time staying in a private room and it was quite, calm and very homey. Parking was no problem and it was so close to town. Really enjoyed my stay!

RoczAna is a very sweet host, helpful and always offer help. The area is very safe and quiet, boonton is a very beautiful small city, but you have everything you need minutes walking distance. The room was sparkling clean as well.

Grace was amazing and her family was very welcoming. The space was perfect for a quick stay and was nice and warm. I was extremely relaxed and felt safe leaving my belongings here. Everything great and quick attentions from the host

After one of Simone’s properties was unavailable, he offered up this one to me at a discounted rate. There was a couple staying downstairs but I hardly ever saw them. Simone provided me with some pasta my first night there and provided a few extra things (coffee, tea, and bathroom items). The property was exactly what I wanted and needed. Word of caution though the stairs in the house leading up to the upstairs are pretty narrow/steep but I was able to manage even with a bad foot and 50lb suitcase.

Ana's place was excellent! About 5-6min drive to Trinitas Hospital and 4 min drive to Elizabeth train station. Location is very very good, walkable distance to supermarket and Dunkin donuts and Laundramat and restaurants. Her place is very clean, In superior condition. I would recommend anyone coming to Elizabeth to stay here. Its a very clean place and feels like home. Ana is very friendly and a great host.

Walther was a great host. Very peaceful n pleasant stay. In fact wanted to extend the stay but my plans changed so could not do so.

I was there for over a week, and it’s absolutely a great place to stay. Very easy to get into the city by express bus 194, which is about 5 mins walk from this place. Restaurants in walking distance as well. And you will easily become a friend of the cats if you stay there for a couple of days.

Good location, lots of shops and restaurants around to eat. Colleen and her daughter were helpful getting settled. Bed might be a bit short if you're much taller than 6' I'm 5'9" so it was perfect for me. Room is spacious.

Really great place! Colleen is a great host. Guests typically stay for a few days, but I ended up staying for over a month and she was extremely accommodating the entire time. The room is plenty large enough and both the bedroom and bathroom are very clean. There are stores and restaurants very near by, some even in walking distance. The huge Willowbrook Mall is at most a 10 minute drive (without traffic), so the location is great as well. Overall great experience. Thanks for everything Colleen!!

Colleen's space is as advertised. The recliner that replaced the pictured chair is very comfy. Mostly I just needed a space to sleep and this was perfect. It was quiet at night & the room was very spacious. It was also nice having a private bathroom right next to my room. Colleen was very friendly & welcoming. She checked with me in my way out (at 630 am) that everything had been ok. I appreciated her hospitality and would highly recommend staying here.

This place is located in a community of townhouses. The host make everything very comfortable for guest to stay. The amenities are great, there is even a large TV in the guest room. You can also easily find a parking spot in the lots of the community.

The place was what I expected: 1. Clean 2. Comfortable Two things you need to have these folks do BEFORE you show up: 1. Turn on the heat in winter or A/C in summer. I walked into an ice box. 2. They have a no shoe policy (which I followed). You either need to bring Sandals OR tell them to waive the cleaning fee.

Jaime has a great setup. Up on the 3rd floor of the house, there’s a kitchenette, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms. The kitchenette has glasses, silverware, plates, napkins, a full size fridge, and various condiments and such. My room was private enough that I wasn’t bothered by other guests talking or watching TV. The house is a couple blocks from 1&9 and across from a Target but not noisy at all. Parking is in the driveway and it can be a little tight if all the rooms are occupied. Glad I stayed...would definitely stay again!

Definitely worth the price and then some. It’s small, but if you’re just looking for a place to stay while you’re traveling, this place goes above and beyond what you’d expect at this price.

Nice spaces for the price! It’s a good location when you don’t want to stay in New York and have a trip. The Uber was about $60 out early in the day and $100 to get back late at night.

Amazing value. Charming and attentive host. Newly renovated apartment, very tidy and clean. Simple room, comfortable bed. Quiet area but for the delicate bells of the Newark Light Rail a few blocks away. Cherry blossoms blooming in the park directly across from Lina's building. I'll return for sure.

The hospitality was a 10/10. It’s located right next to the NJ light rails which was very convenient. The place was clean and had great amenities. Everything was above my expectations.

I needed a short-term retreat from New York City, so I booked a stay at Lina’s lovely home for 3 weeks. This was my first long-term stay, and I’m so thankful I stayed with Lina. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. Lina is someone who truly cares about providing A+ hospitality. (1) If you happen to have sinusitis like me (I’ve been on 4 medications at the same time in the past for my condition), then incense/diffusers could irritate your nostrils. Although Lina had a wonderful scent spritzing the living room from a well-decorated coffee table (her souvenirs showed that she’s traveled to more countries than I’ve been to since I was born…AMAZING!), I wasn’t able to handle it and she kindly offered to disable it. She also alerted me of a forthcoming bathroom cleanup (the bathroom is extremely well maintained!), as cleaning agents would be used, and wanted to be mindful of my sinusitis. Again, a simple yet striking example of how thoughtful she is. (I updated my Airbnb profile the other day to notate that I have sinusitis, because in doing a Q&A with potential Airbnb hosts in Manhattan this week, I’m seeing that incense/diffusers are really a thing here!) (2) I primarily drink water and tea (and the occasional cocktail), and so coming from 70-degree-weather in Florida (I flew into New York from Miami before heading to New Jersey), it was a relief that she included this, as I needed lots of hot tea during my first few days in this cold city! (3) Lina is an engaging host ( I enjoyed our chats and the laughs), and she respects your me-time. All in all, if you’re looking for an affordable, clean and warm stay in New Jersey with beautiful human beings, I highly recommend Lina’s home. (I already miss Lina and C!) If I’m ever in NJ again, I’ll definitely be pinging back for a stay! xoxo

Wonderful air bnb, would highly recommend this space. The apartment had everything you need for a great stay. Our host was also available if we had any questions or needed anything. Close to all major highways, malls, restaurants and transportation into New York city. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at Julia’s place for 2 months and enjoyed every day - Julia and her family were a pleasure to interact with and get to know and had a lot of great suggestions for places to go around the area. The place has everything you’ll need including laundry and a full kitchen, FIOS, and on top of that, the apartment itself is huge. Would gladly stay again.

Michael was a great host and replied back quick with any questions or anything we needed. The cabin was in a great location, clean, and cozy. What more can we ask for?! Overall we had a great trip with places to hike nearby and a beautiful lake. You won’t regret staying here for a peaceful and adventurous time!

Michael’s airbnb is a perfect little getaway. The location is awesome- I would love to come back and try it during the summer. It’s off a somewhat busy road with a lot of neighbors, but we didn’t have many issues hearing anything unless the windows were open or someone’s dog was barking loudly. That being said, our group consisted of 4 young adults and the space fit us perfectly for just a few days. This would definitely work as a couple’s retreat too, while still being intimate. Michael provides all the basic necessities to have a good time, including some firewood. There is also a shoprite very close if you need more firewood. Lots of back-up and extra blankets. Provides towels, soaps, extra linens, kitchen supplies, coffee. Also, he’s very responsive!

Wonderful experience. When I checked in I was met with soft lights on, and music on the radio. Charming little cabin with a lot of character. Everything was spotless. My first time using this app, and I was very happy. Michael is a fantastic host.

Michael did not fail to impress once again. This was our second time staying here and it was an amazing getaway. He had already left plenty of wood for the fire and fire starter, but was kind enough to bring us some more later that day. We also needed a blender and he brought it shortly. Michael is an amazing host and his cabin is wonderful.

This place is great! Felt like home as soon as I entered. The fireplace is great and I had everything I needed to cook, as well as lots of extra goodies in the fridge and cupboards. Would definitely stay again - great little getaway with hiking nearby.
