Kevin's place is great and affordable. Perfect place if you are looking for somewhere close to downtown GR and all the breweries and shops, at an affordable price. This place is in an amazing historic home just a few minutes walk from everything in the downtown area of Grand Rapids. This place comes with all basic amenities, a comfy bed, great TV options, WiFi, and a kitchenette if you plan on doing some simple cooking, and plenty of safe parking. Kevin was easy to communicate with and made checking in/out so easy. Would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

The room was nice and clean. Kevin was really helpful and flexible. Its close to Van adel arena so worked out really well for me.

This house is an old beauty! Located right between downtown and the Eastside neighborhood, it is close to everything that is great about Grand Rapids. Kym was a communicative and accommodating host. We would definitely stay here again!

A clean, easy to access house in a residential neighborhood. Be prepared for fact that it's under renovation. Also I would treat it as just a one bedroom, as the other bedrooms are upstairs and very sparsely furnished -- one with a bed and one with two cots. Very roomy, as you have the whole house.

Kym's home is a beautiful historic home in downtown GR. Centrally located between East GR and Downtown, the neighboorhood is quiet and charming. Kym is in the process of renovating the home, but the main floor living room, kitchen and bedroom are completed and very comfortable. I very much enjoyed my stay there!

Didn't end up staying this time and had to cancel but the past time we stayed at kyms was always a great time!

This lovely historical home is full of character & charm- hardwood floors, open space, comfy couch, tall windows.... and at an incredibly economical price. (My 17 yr. old liked that she had her own room & bathroom upstairs!) Walking the historic district was great- also walked to a brewery for live music at their open mic night. We loved the relaxed stay- time for the sights and time for napping/reading/ movie-watching. Definitely would rent this spot again!

This place was wonderfully quaint! There was a stocked kitchen to use, plenty of space to relax, and cozy character to the home. Kym responded to us instantly and was terribly accommodating of our check in/out time.

Kym was so sweet and accommodating. She went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome. Her home is beautiful and it is clear she loves it and takes a lot of pride in it. She offered much more than a place to sleep: good conversation, lots of food, local recommendations, and sweet hugs for our little toddler!

I got really warm and easy welcomed and then equipped with some tips for downtown. I did even get a proper bed instead of the booked couch ;) thanks guys!

Amy's two dogs are the cutest things in the world. Got to play with her new husky puppy before crashing on the couch. With the window open right above my head it was the perfect, cheap option while I was in town for my weightlifting meet. 10/10 would recommend.

Walking distance to everything. Cheap and everything you need. My friend and I stayed and had the couch + blow up mattress and it worked out great.

Amazing location, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go!! Amy's boyfriend had great suggestions for breweries to go to on our stay. Got the key before our check in time, communication was excellent. Plus two cute cuddly huskies, what's not to love? Highly recommend

Next time we are looking for a weekend getaway, we will certainly look @ booking again.

Lovely neighborhood and view. Loved watching the horses, and the trees in their autumn colors. Place is cozy and clean,bed is super comfy. Heidi and Kyle were very generous in letting us extend our check out time so we could get in a few more hours of making the most of our trip. Thanks again for allowing our pups,it was a huge help to us.

Great secluded weekend getaway

Nik took care of everything. From local beers to sample in the fridge to small toiletries we forget on the trip. The beds were great, and the house was close to great breweries. I could not recommend Nik's place enough to anyone staying in Grand Rapids.

Nik is very responsive and we appreciated the thoughtful treats he provided (coffee, bagels, oatmeal, ramen). It is in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of good food and coffee and works well for business travel. Sadly, as we were 3 work colleagues expecting 3 bedrooms and 3 beds, we were disappointed to find the "3rd-bedroom" was set up to work well as a study with a sofa, but not so well as a bedroom. We realize that this is a new listing and expect these details will get worked out.

Excellent hosts and house.

There aren't enough good things to say about my stay at the Morris house. Above and beyond my expectations. It was so easy to get into the house, I would've thought it was my own. The home is exactly as the photos display. There are cute photos and phrases on towels all around the home that made me smile. Extremely clean and life couldn't be made easier with shampoo, conditioner, body wash provided - as well as razors, advil, and tooth brushes to name a few things - for backup. They provided coffee, bagels, and even basic condiments in the fridge. The Morris house truly sets the standard for Air BnB's. I definitely plan to stay here again.

This was my first AirBnB and it was extremely positive. Ryan's place is a great value, especially for where it is. We went downtown and ubered and it was around $8 both times. It's cozy, and even though the bed is small it's super comfy! We would stay here again when in GR.

We loved Oliver's place. Super central so we were able to walk to the east side (brunch at Terra, beer at Vivant) and west side (dinner at San Chez and live music at Founders). The place was clean and bright and the bed is freakishly comfortable! Definitely recommend.

Oliver was a terrific host. Very timely and easy to work with. Place was great. Amazing decor and very homey. Perfect location by all of the bars and restaurants. Will be staying again.

Oliver's loft is a perfect location. Close to all the downtown amenities Grand Rapids has to offer. The loft is clean and has a chic, industrial feel to it. I would highly recommend staying here. If I ever visit Grand Rapids again I will be definitely staying here.

Richard was very responsive, and his place was exactly as pictured. Arrival was easy (the entrance is clearly marked once you get there, even though it's hard to tell which one it is from (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps). You could tell Richard had thought about the details--he had irons in each closet, coffee in the cupboard, and to-go menus posted near the door. Would stay again.

Small place, but right for the price. Good place for folks looking for a place to stay the night, while spending most of their time in downtown Grand Rapids.

We booked this at the last minute and it was great for the price. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was some noise from the street but we were expecting that from reviews. Check in was easy and Richard answered questions quickly. It wasn't the most charming place I've stayed but we were mostly out so that really wasn't an issue.

Richard's description is pretty accurate. Be aware that the air conditioning is just a window unit and does not fully cool the house. In summer (when I visited) the house is hot in the afternoon/ evening and cool in the morning. There is a general lack of air circulation and there is a musty, mildewy smell in the house. The shower is an old-fashioned free-standing tub; definitely an interesting experience. There interior of the house is not well-lit. The area is very walkable. Sidewalks pretty well-lit. I did not feel unsafe walking alone at night. Be aware walking around the university there are some red-winged blackbirds which are very aggressive (in summer). Richard is a great host. I would recommend this place for people who do not have allergies, don't mind roughing it, and just need a place to crash for the night.

This was a great place to stay while passing through to our next destination. Other than missing towels, it was a great place to stay to visit the night life with great beers at Founders and New Holland Breweries!

Home was described accurately. Definitely worth the money

This rental is a really good value, located in a neighborhood situated very close to a bus stop. Restaurants are a quick walk in a few directions. A great, new artisan coffee joint called the Rower's Club is nearby. Grand Rapids is a fun, smaller city with big attractions (like the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Ford Presidential Museum) and hidden gems (like the Wealthy Theatre, which I caught a summer screening of Jaws at). Richard demonstrated excellent, helpful communication skills, so rest assured he's there to help you out.

Richard's place is a great spot for exploring downtown Grand Rapids. I was able to walk to Founders Brewery in about 20 minutes. The place itself is very comfortable and clean. I appreciated the air conditioning as I stayed in late July. Richard responded quickly to all of my messages and made the logistics for arrival/check out very easy. And the pricing is extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!

The place was beyond my expectations - room, restroom, and the rest of the house was top-notch on cleanliness. You've got garage parking, safe neighborhood, close to downtown, restaurants, and great hosts!

Located in a quiet neighborhood within easy driving distance to downtown and outlying shopping, this is a great place to stay if in town for a meeting or convention! (sounds like I am writing an ad for Genesis and Oliver's place) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at their place and will definitely plan to stay there again if I am up that way! Good host, good value

Elizabeth was a lovely host. She and her husband have done a lot of work to keep the house clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were excellent, and the backyard is a beautiful, restful retreat. I do want to note that the smaller room doesn't have an ac unit, so it's windows open. I slept cool enough, but would recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The location is fairly close to downtown, but a rental car would be best. I would recommend a stay here any time, the house is wonderful!
