This was our first time in an Airbnb property and the standard has been set Soo high! The apartment is absolutely immaculate, it's spacious and ever so comfortable! The location was perfect for us as we were remaining around that exact area. Lynne has made every effort to cover everything you'd need whilst there and we will definitely be returning! I would highly recommend this apartment and Lynne the host, correspondence was excellent before throughout and after our stay. Perfect!

This was our first time using airbnb and we hoped that it would be just like staying with friends at a luxurious house in the country. As it turned out, that's exactly what it was like. Mark and Debbie were excellent hosts, they made breakfast for us every morning, greeted us with a bottle of wine when we arrived, provided plenty of food and drink and made sure that there was something to suit all of our dietary requirements. They took an interest in what we were doing but were always ready to give us space if we needed it. Having them to talk to made our trip even more enjoyable. Communication before we arrived was also good, we had to add another person to our party at the last minute, and they made sure the booking was updated promptly and that we could find the place when we arrived. The accommodation was lovely, a whole wing of the house with a living room/kitchen, a bathroom and three large bedrooms, each decorated in a different style. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable. The price of our stay compared favourably to a hotel, and we got a lot more for our money, so the value for money was also excellent. We came to attend an annual event nearby, and will definitely want to stay here when we attend next year.

Lovely stay, clean comfortable, welcoming , communication was fantastic. Mark & Debbie and family are lovely, really a pleasure to be in their company. It may seam trivial to some but just the simple things like coffee... I enjoy a nice coffee and there is nothing more disappointing than arriving somewhere and wishing I had bought my own, they go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Wonderful well appointed accommodation in splendid isolated location. Truly five star accommodation, with very comfortable, firm mattresses and a huge (and I mean huge) kitchen and a comfortable dining/lounge area. Short drive to nearby Farm Shop, and only five minutes from Newark on Trent, which has anything else you should need. Debbie is a great host. After showing us around and providing some quality provisions, she left us to our own devices, which was exactly what we were after.

Debbie was very welcoming and hospitable. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Hosts like this is what makes Air B&B so great!

Fantastic location. Right next to the cathedral quarter and a short walk into town down steep hill. Small room but ideal for myself and my partners short stay in Lincoln. Comfy beds, TV and did selection in the room and a good selection of food and drinks. James is a great host and couldn't have done enough for us. Great value for money.

Karen's apartment was perfect for my visit to the Peak District. Communication was easy and she met me at the apartment on time. The Apartment is as listed on Airbnb and is a lovely relaxing space that Karen has obviously put a lot of attention and care into. It feels like a home, which I liked. It was equipped with everything that I needed for my stay and I would book with Karen again.

Lovely modern ground floor apartment, within easy walking distance of Chesterfield and shopping amenities. Karen and her partner met us promptly at the agreed check-in time and showed us how everything worked and gave us some recommendations for shopping, and good pubs. All the equipment worked perfectly - TV, wifi and washer. The apartment is very conveniently located and I would definitely stay here again.

All was aceptable and ok during our stay. The area is a bit lonely but that makes it very quiet.

This is good value for money if you stay a week. It is very quiet and peaceful and good exercise walking up to shops for a daily paper!

Alexis and Beth are very friendly and nice. The house is very clean, fresh smell, Everything looks new!(washing machine, kettle, iron and a iron-board, is better than my home!) Very surprise there have eggs, milk , bread and butter in the big fridge! Because I stay with my 1 year old baby, they had provide a baby cot and high chair! It is very good for baby. The house are very warm, the garden is so beautiful, can see the sky, star-night and some night view, good for relax. Alexis place is a lovely, clean and comfortable property with all the facilities and supplies you could need. I would have no hesitation in recommending this for both long and short stays.

My wife & I stayed at Alexis' place for 8 nights, visiting family nearby. The annexe was perfect for us - and exactly as described. Fully equipped with everything you'd expect to have and use at home. The welcome touches include fresh eggs from the hens at the bottom of the garden, breakfast cereals, butter, bread, milk and everything you need to make breakfast if you don't manage to shop before you arrive. The annexe is spotlessly clean & fresh. It's a light airy flat with conservatory doors opening onto a small balcony leading to your own garden space. A five minute walk to Mapperley shops, City bus route, shops, pubs & restaurants means that everything you'd need is close at hand. Alexis & and his family are perfect hosts - booking was easy, Alexis texted info to us prior to arrival, we were made very welcome and then left to enjoy our stay. 10 out of 10 from us...

Alexis's place is a good space, comfortable and in a nice residential area. We chose this place as we have a large car and needed parking. We were able to catch a bus into the city easily - the hill isn't too steep up to the bus stop. There is a nice back garden, shame the weather wasn't nice enough to sit out. Nice touch was the eggs from their own chickens at the bottom of the garden.

The apppartment is cosy, clean and warm. Perfectly located for the Cathedral and surrounding area's of interest. Also, close to local eating and drinking places, but manages to still be quite and peaceful once inside. Tourist office a 2mins walk across the cobble stones, next to bus service down into the busy area of the town and river. Ideal for a short break or weekend for two.

We very much enjoyed staying in Robin's flat. His aim is to provide a place which feels as if you are borrowing a friend's house and he definitely achieved this for us. We didn't meet him and had no cause to contact him during our stay but the accommodation gave us a good impression of his hosting style. Shame we missed the lecture on vegetables but he would have been preaching to the converted. The location was perfect for us, being within a few minutes walk of the Cathedral and all the shops , restaurants and visitor attractions of Uphill Lincoln. The flat is Robin's part-time residence and was roomy and comfortable and equipped with everything you would find in your own home including kitchen staples which we were glad to be able to use and replace. The kitchen is very well equipped but with so many great places to eat locally, we were happy to give the cooking a miss. With one bedroom and one bathroom, the flat is perfect for two using the first floor double bedroom and ok for four if the second couple are happy to use the bed settee in the living room, next to the kitchen. We had a guest for two nights and she opted to use the sitting room rather than the cellar which would be great for a teenage hangout but none of us would have chosen to sleep there. We would be delighted to stay again if visiting Lincoln and can recommend it to other visitors.

The unit was very well positioned in the town, with easy walking access to the castle and cathedral. It had plenty of room for our family of 5, and was well furnished. There was a problem with one of the cellar beds and Robin brought an alternative the next day.

This is a beautiful spacious home from home. It's clearly a historic building but has been modernised beautifully. It is in an amazing location in Bailgate. Robin, the host has been extremely helpful and answered any queries straight away. I would highly recommend this accomodation, which is accurately described.

Robin's place was great! Lot's of character and very spacious. It was just steps away to the main street of the old town. We did not get a chance to meet Robin but the instructions he left for the place were very detailed and accurate. Highly recommended!

We had a litte problem getting in but 5 minutes later I was talking on the phone with Robyn and everything was sorted within a minute. The house was much nicer and of a higher standard than we expected. The place is fantastic and next time I am coming to Lincoln with a few people I will try to stay here again! Perfect for 4 people. - 5 or more would have been fine too but this way no-one had to share a bed. Thank you so much Robyn!

We received a really warm welcome from Stuart, who showed us around the Apartment and gave us details of places to eat and visit whilst staying in Lincoln. The apartment is very spacious and has a wonderful bay window in the lounge where one can relax and read or just people watch. The location is a few minutes walk away from the cathedral and castle yet does not feel as though it's in the centre of a town. In fact it's ideally placed to visit Lincoln. We found the apartment to be warm and cosy even though the rooms are quite large. If we were to return to Lincoln I am sure that we would stay here again.

The apartment is fantastically located, with many sights, shops and restaurants nearby. The off-street parking is a huge bonus also as it can be difficult to find spots otherwise. Stuart was on hand to meet us, despite being late due to our flight. He was very friendly and offered us advice on the area and answered all our questions. The apartment itself is very spacious, clean and had everything that we needed for our week-long stay. I think the pictures are representative of the apartment. I would easily recommend it to others.

We had a great 2 night mid week stay at Stuart's apartment. Despite giving him less than 5 hours notice, the apartment was spotless. Check in was super easy, and Stuart stayed in touch throughout our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is ideal and is literally 5 minutes away from the Cathedral Quarter. The price is also super affordable. I would not hesitate to recommend it or stay here again.

The actual flat was difficult to find at first as the streets surrounding are one way and the flat is tucked round the back off the street. When I found the flat though the keys were exactly where Nadia said they would be and the flat was amazing. I was there during a heatwave unfortunately so couldn't really get cool in the place as even with the window open it was boiling but that obviously isn't Nadia's fault. The flat was amazing, wifi worked perfectly and the shower was amazing. I didn't realise that I'd need to bring my own towels so I had to use one towel for four days so that was a negative but again couldn't be helped. I was working in the centre of town and got there in 1-15minutes in rush hour so it was perfect.

This place was exactly as described--spacious, very clean, and extremely easy to get into town (via bus or otherwise). The whole arrival process was pretty quick. I picked up the keys and was good to go. Recommended!

A spot on apartment, near amenities, shops and restaurants and not far from the city centre. Plenty of parking and space.

This is a quaint little flat. However, we had the following points we would like to share: 1) The mattress was awful. It sagged in the middle. I woke up with a stiff back, 2) The TV only had about 5 working channels. I retuned it 4 times with no luck, 3) There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, 4) we had to go and purchase our own toilet paper, 5) The place had definitely not been vacuumed. I found a centipede crawling across the floor of the double room. Not the best Air BnB I have stayed in.

Flat is in a great location for getting to parks and the city centre. It's also close to a soft play centre and high street. Had everything you need. Only tip I would say if your staying with little ones, is take a blackout blind for the front room, as it's very light (we used towels as a makeshift).

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunitas. It was super clean and cozy. The flat is quite big and the kitchen is fully equiped. Sunita was really nice and totally respected our privacy. We would absolutely come back of given the chance.

Richard's place was great value for money. Tidy apartment with full kitchen and lounge room. It was a 20 min walk to the city centre. Richard was easy to communicate with and showed us around on arrival. Richard even stocked the kitchen with food including milk, bread and fruit. It was helpful to have secure parking during our stay also.

A beautiful warm apartment in the best location, the full breakfast every day was a pleasant surprise and a very thoughtful touch as we had been travelling from the US. The Flat looked exactly like it did in the photos. Clean and presentable. There are restaurants very close by, such as the Toby carvery. The host is very quick to reposed to messages. The flat is on the first floor with no lift.

The stay has been perfect. The flat is very big, clean and tidy. The rooms were comfortable and there was everything you need (hairdryer, shampoo, bath towels...) Wifi available and also some food and snacks for breakfast. Quick and good communication with the host. The house position is good, the area is calm and it is convenient to reach the city centre (only 6 mins walking to the bus stop and 25 on foot). I really recommend it!

Jame's place is terrific it was perfect, we liked it so much we went back again when we had a second stay in Nottingham. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The small basket of essential food items was most welcome, as we arrived late on the first night without any food. Only suggestion would be a small fold out table in the kitchen.

We had a lovely weekend staying at James' Place and would highly recommend it. The apartment is very clean and well furnished with a provided welcome basked containing treats and food essentials. We were overall very pleased with the service provided and could not fault any of our stay.

The flat is recently built, clean and simply fitted out with what's needed to stay for a short city break for 4. It's and easy walk into the city centre, but a bit of an uphill treck at the end of the evening. However the taxis are inexpensive and plentiful

This is a beautiful flat and, because it's at the back of a building that is already set well back from a not particularly busy road, is very quiet indeed. And yet it takes less than 20 minutes to walk into the Lace Market.

Excellent spot, relaxing, secure and well furnished. Edward was great even had the towels out for us. Very good contact and we had a great stay. The apartment is great with a nice balcony to chill in the evenings.
