Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The vacation rental is below the village of Amden. The farmer's family also lives in the same house. For the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (garbage). However, we make an effort, and take this into account as much as possible. We have cats, dog and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book along, cost CHF 30.

Our cozy studio is located in Walenstadtberg at 850m directly below the Churfirsten, giving you an optimal starting point for hikes, bike tours, etc. A cool refreshment is offered by Lake Walensee, which is 10 minutes by car at the foot of the mountain. You can end the day comfortably at the fire bowl and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. There is a bus service to Walenstadtberg.
