Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the village Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The closest grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Charming rural cabin for couples, outdoor shower

The cabin is 15 m2 and is a hidden nugget in our garden overlooking the fjord opposite Akureyri. The cabin was completed in April 2020. There is a kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and fridge. The WC is separate inside with a hand basin. The cabin is private and there is a half wrap around deck to enjoy the evening views and midnight skies. There is an outside shower with hot water for a natural experience.

My beloved tiny home is a remodeled garage, modern and designed to be a cosy studio space. It has floor heating, Philips Smart TV and a kitchen. The kitchen has a SMEG coffee machine, a refrigerator, full size stove and a dishwasher. The studio is 33m2 and has one bedroom with one double bed (160cm) and one single bed (90cm). The space is 33m2 & has a private: entrance, kitchen bathroom and living room.
