The summer house Flora is unique, Icelandic and old-fashioned, 12 km from Egilssstaðir, located at the top and end of the summer house area. Exceptionally nice and beautiful views of the valley and Lagarfljot. Birdsong, tranquility, romance and coziness. Flora is a ground floor with a sleeping loft. Downstairs there is an entrance, living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. There are 2 beds in the loft. All beds are new with good quality. Steep stairs up to the sleeping loft. Household appliances are both modern and old-fashioned. On the terrace there are chairs and tables.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Snæbyl Cottage 3

A warm and brand new house that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 45m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

A small but cosy apartment on the lower floor. Very close to Skaftafell, a national park(10min drive). A very popular tourist area. Close to Vatnajökull and Öræfajökull, 40 min drive from Jökulárlón(Diamond beach). 70km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, 130km west of Höfn(small and beutiful town).

Aurora Cabins

The house is located about 3km from Höfn, overlooking mountains and glaciers. Ideal for families or those traveling together. The houses can accommodate four adults. One child under 12 years stays free of charge when using existing beds. Free wifi is available on-site.

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Gíslastaðir - Cottage

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
