Super cozy and luxurious forest chalet. This spacious, freestanding chalet is located in the forest and will be available for rent from March 2026. The cottage is unique and clearly has a different feel from a typical chalet. It features luxurious, warm and comprehensive furnishings. It was fully renovated in 2025, with a strong focus on natural materials and comfort. The chalet is located in a quiet, small-scale holiday park with a swimming pool, restaurant and terrace. This park is completely surrounded by kilometres of forest.

Als je op zoek bent naar een fijne plek voor een paar dagen ertussen uit in het midden van het land, dan ben je bij ons aan het juiste adres. Wij bieden een fijn huisje van 30m2 waar je in privacy kunt genieten van de rust. Het huisje is voorzien van alle gemakken zoals vloerverwarming, 2 fietsen, privetuintje, en een héérlijke douche. En dat in de bosrijke omgeving. Knus, comfortabel, met bluetooth radio en prima WiFi. Mountainbikers kunnen hier losgaan in de bossen. & Huisdieren zijn welkom.

We have a detached guesthouse on our property, 50 meters behind our house and our private tennis court. Perfect location for visiting Utrecht and Amsterdam (10 and 40 minutes by train, and the station is within walking distance). Also ideal for cycling and hiking because we are located at the National Park "Utrechtse Heuvelrug". The rent includes max. 2 hours (per day) use of our tennis court. Please let us know in advance if you want to play tennis. You can safely store bicycles here.

Unique Stay in the Countryside!

The cottage has a unique atmosphere, created with materials from the old days. It is located at the back of our yard, overlooking the meadows, the forest and the dike. In summer, the cows of the adjacent farm graze in the meadow, and the ducks and coots swim in the ditch. You can regularly see a stork or a deer! With the sound of the cuckoo, the lapwing or the owl, you experience nature very close! From the conservatory or from the large garden, you can see the sun rise in the morning.

We offer you accommodation in a beautiful, very spacious sitting room on the 1st floor with private bathroom with rain shower. It is located in an outbuilding (built in 2015) where a garage and a clothing workshop are housed on the ground floor. You have access to a private entrance with a private toilet in the hall and stairs to the room and your own bathroom. Schaapskooi is a cozy vacation home. The vacation home can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. Also for rent in combination with the pig barn, 6 people. Ideal for groups! De Vlonder is a freestanding and sustainable accommodation (also a holiday home) on the Kromme Rijn in Cothen, located in the province of Utrecht. The accommodation is situated along the Kromme Rijn walking path and can accommodate up to 4 guests. It has two separate bedrooms, 1 and 2, with a private bathroom with a toilet. It has a common breakfast/kitchen area where you can stay well. Outside you can relax in the lounge set on the deck on the Kromme Rijn.

De B&B bevindt zich achter in onze diepe tuin, heeft een eigen opgang en zonnig terras met veel privacy.

By entering the luxurious sitting area, sitting on a large leather sofa, you can enjoy the beautiful forest, the different forest colors and a lot of different bird sounds. In the twilight, you regularly spot deer, rabbits and sometimes a fox.

Jan's renovated cowshed has 3 spacious double rooms. All rooms have a beautiful private bathroom with shower and toilet. The rooms are accessible via a hallway to a cozy, shared living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Coffee and tea are available unlimited. At pleasant temperatures, one can make use of a cozily furnished barn, which serves as an extra seating area.
