Diane's place is the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed at!! It's a full, lovely, new house with a beautiful kitchen and a deck. So comfortable. She has and runs an amazing farm. I was travel on foot and she was very kind to me. She gave me two dozen of her fresh farm eggs, and some of her amazing fruit jam. During the season she supplies guests with raspberries, peaches, and other fruit that she grows. The most incredible stay and host in Maine. You won't be disappointed.

Diane‘s place is wonderful. It is clean, comfortable, and her thoughtful touches of including farm fresh eggs and homemade jam make this a wonderful value and a restorative place to stay. I highly recommend it. The location is excellent. It feels slightly remote, but in a good way. There are actually plenty of amenities within 10 or 15 minutes, and there is quite a lot to do as well. Unity has an excellent pizza place, and the alpaca farm in town is worth visiting too. I highly recommend this place - check it out.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - AMAZING!! The house was spotless and there was everything that I needed & forgot to pack like shampoo! It was within 5 min from downtown and super easy to find in the most beautiful location! I will definitely be back next time I go to unity!

Tom's hand-built cabin with bathroom facility and outdoor shower adjacent was the perfect upgrade from camping - snug, comfortable, conveniently appointed and homey (hand-painted with glow in dark stars in sleeping loft!) Great for a single and can accommodate a couple, it is a very private setting behind the vegetable garden on his property in a woodsy setting in the hills above the mid-coast towns and the very nice Belfast with it's terrific co-op to anchor, about a 20-25 min drive down the pleasant scenic Rt. 173. Stop at any of the several roadside stores they're all good, open early and late, and Weaver's has a morning bakery as the sun is coming up. Tom and wife are super nice and authentic. The tiney house was awesome! Very comfortable, just like the ones on TV. It was perfect, rustic but comfortable, I spent my days exploring the coastle cities of Maine and hiking. It was so cool to actually stay someplace that was really doing the sustainable lifestyle! I'm def going back again! Tom was super nice, even refunded me when I had to check out early for work, and didn't mind checking me in in the middle of the night lol, it was great!

Great place close to unity college

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this charming and cozy antique farmhouse. Plenty of space to cook, share a meal and enjoy each other’s company. It was 5 degrees outside, but toasty warm inside. Jeff and Mary have done a wonderful job updating and improving, while keeping all the character that makes this grand old girl special. They were super responsive and made for a flawless stay. I’m looking forward to staying here again.

This spacious house has many striking original features, making it feel a bit like you are in a different time. There is plenty to explore in the house and attached barn. We did not have the chance to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, but it would be great in the warmer months. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

A fantastic refurbished farm house that is centrally located in Unity. The house is spacious, well appointed, and wonderfully comfortable! Jeff and Mary are fabulous hosts and have taken care to provide every amenity needed for a truly comfortable stay.

Great little place to stay!

Such a lovely little cabin, perfect for one or two people. I needed a place to stay for one night while at the Common Ground Fair. The cabin was an easy 20-minute drive from the fairgrounds on country roads. It sits among a cluster of 3 or 4 cabins that share a driveway,so even though I was traveling alone I felt safe with other guests next door. It had been renovated recently so all of the wood inside was brand new ; the twin beds very comfortable; and the cabin was nicely decorated inside too. I didn’t have time to use the wood stove but I imagine that would be nice on a cool evening . There was an electric heater that warmed the cabin quickly. The kitchenette is on a screened porch. So sweet! And if all of that wasn’t enough to delight, the outside (heated) shower had just been installed and I was able to enjoy a warm shower outside in the morning. Such a wonderful experience! Next time, I will stay longer and use it as a jumping off pad to explore the Midcoast. Belfast is an easy 20-minute drive. Really enjoyed my all-too-short stay!

Great historical place to stay in Waterville, Maine. Dana's house has so many lovely little touches- I may have indulged more than I should have in the chocolates dish- sorry Dana! Good communication leading up to our arrival, and we felt very welcome when greeted at the front door.

Anchor House is the perfect spot for a cozy getaway! Dana and Anne are wonderful hosts, and the apartment is spacious, charming and relaxing; very convenient to Maine points downeast, north and beyond. Enthusiastically recommended!

This is the true Maine camp experience! Rustic, scenic, and cozy. We stayed over an early fall weekend for a nearby family wedding. Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time at the cabin, to take advantage of the boating, fishing, and hang-out opportunities that this place has in abundance. Would definitely stay again.

Back for our 4th summer - a lovely place for a peaceful family vacation.

If you are looking for a nostalgic, rustic camp experience this camp fits the bill! It's a well-loved family camp beautiful positioned just feet from the lake. My mother and I caught crappies, white perch, and bass right from the dock. The swimming is good, but water shoes are necessary for comfort. My toddlers were able to play on the pebbly shore and wade into the water. The water is deep enough at the end of the dock to jump or dive in. It's a large lake with lots of exploring opportunities with the provided kayaks and canoe. Inside, the screened in porch was our favorite space. The west-facing open porch was our favorite place to watch the sunset - when we weren't fishing - and the sunsets are spectacular! The kitchen is very small but has all modern conveniences. The bathhouse adds to the nostalgic camp experience as it's a separate building attached to the house by a deck. Inside, it has all necessary bathroom fixtures including a washer and dryer. Upstairs, the sleeping area is essentially divided into two rooms but there are no doors; one side has two king-sized beds, and the other has a queen and two twins. The rooms are spacious and have plenty of windows to catch the lake breezes. The hosts have thought of everything; the camp is full of surprises when you start looking around. They communicate well when you have questions and/or need local advice. Our one suggestion would be to bring your own drinking water as we found the tap water to have a strong taste. All in all, we had a great week and made a ton of great memories!

Fantastic spot! Beautiful views with perfect outdoor amenities that include kayaks and canoes so be sure to take a paddle around peaceful Unity Pond! The cabin is rustic and just what we were looking for in a "camp". Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy and plenty of wildlife to watch, including bald eagles, osprey and loons! Great memories are made in places like this!

The cabin was so clean and cozy! They offered linens and snacks as well as lots of tips and suggestions for activities/restaurants for the area. Such a quiet place close enough to Acadia, so you get a full experience. The hosts are so kind and interested in making sure that your trip goes well! Definitely a place we would return to.

Jon is a great host providing plenty of suggestion and knowledge of the area. The cabin was impeccably clean with special added touches like no other. We will deffinately be returning.

This is a beautiful cabin, perfectly laid out and clean. Linens, snacks, somehow no bugs and close to lots of lovely places which Jon can tell you all about.

My girlfriend and I spent a delightful long weekend exploring the Mid-Coastal region of Maine, with Jon's lovely cabin as a perfect base. Jon and his wife Martha were extremely hospitable, offering us tailored recommendations for places to visit based on our interests. The cabin was spotlessly clean and stocked with unexpected but much appreciated amenities, such as freshly ground coffee, orange juice, milk, and snacks. Whatever your reasons for visiting the area, I imagine you'd be hard pressed to find a more perfect spot.

We had a lovely stay. Jon was a great host. He greeted us as soon as we pulled in and showed us around the cabin. He gave us a lot of suggestions for fun things to do in the area. My daughter was sick and Jon gave told me where the closest hospital was. He also checked in with us to see how she was feeling throughout our stay. Jon was very friendly and thoughtful. The cabin was perfectly clean and comfortable. It was stocked with snacks, fresh ground coffee, tea, and drinks. I would definitely stay here again!

Lots of places say “sparkling clean.” This one really is. 4 years old and still brand new. The spot is perfectly serene and the host exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.

Jon's cabin is a great little spot off the beaten path. We arrived a little early which was no problem since the cabin is located right next to Jon's house. He was quick to come out and greet us before we even got to the door. Jon was very welcoming and pleasant. He gave us a great background of the cabin and the story of building it as well as his own home. He brought us into the cabin and gave us an overview for our stay. He had freshly ground coffee as well as a stock of snacks, and water and milk in the fridge. The cabin had WiFi which was great. Jon provided us a list of things to do in the surrounding area, Belfast, ME being one of the suggestions that we took him up on. It was a quick little trip with lots to do. Most of our time was in Bangor which was just 40 minutes away so the cabin was in a good spot for us. We communicated with Jon a few times through AirBnB and he was very responsive. Upon our departure, Jon came out to meet us to ensure we had a pleasant time. If/when we return to the area we would certainly check to see if the cabin in available. It's a great place and Jon is an excellent host.

Jon's cabin is the perfect getaway for a weekend in Maine. Jon claimed the cabin was three years old -- but to be honest, it felt brand new to us! It was immaculately clean, and still smelled of fresh wood. Jon's hospitality was also above expectations -- he provided all kinds of goodies in the cabin (including lots of fresh coffee, cocoa, tea, snacks, and even wine!). He added special touches, like a greeting in Nepali to welcome the guests I was staying with. Also, on size: my group had four people, and we felt comfortable, despite the small space. Though this is a cabin, it still has modern amenities -- the bathroom was fully functional with hot water (unlimited -- no running out of hot water!). In short, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a secluded, quiet, but comfortable place in Maine.

Craig and Jen’s place was exactly as described in their listing. We found them easily and the steps to the private entrance were shoveled and sanded. The apartment was simple and convenient, similar to a hotel suite with kitchenette. We used the fold out cot, in addition to the double bed, which were both comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. We were able to quickly access downtown restaurants, the grocery store and the cross country ski trails. Read their bathroom notes - it was quirky but functional. We ended up kind of sit-showering, which was fine with us but could be tricky for others.

I just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay,it really felt like being at home on a wonderful relaxing day,not an impersonal corporate cubicle.The river view was enchanting even on a dreary rainy December day,the ducks were awesome.

This space is cozy and right by the river! It rained on us when we stayed so we didn't get to enjoy the outside space. I loved the clawfoot tub. But, if you're much over 5'7", you won't be standing for a shower. Overall, I'd visit again earlier in the year!

A Touch of Home is exactly what Tom and Linda’s place is like. We immediately felt right at home. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. The sunset and sunrises were gorgeous. Tom and Linda went the extra mile to make their house feel comfortable and relaxing. If we get a chance to go back to Maine, Tom and Linda’s is where we will stay!

This house was the perfect space for our family when we were visiting relatives for Christmas in Pittsfield. There was a beautiful Christmas tree up and we all had a great time hanging out in the living room and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home in a bucolic rural setting. Great views from all sides. Wonderful hot tub! I used it and watched the snow fall outside---very peaceful. Close to Unity yet very private.

Tom and Linda’s place was very cozy and charming. It was perfect time to enjoy the fireplace and foliage around the house. The place was huge for two people plus a small dog. The area was very peaceful and no traffic at all which was awesome coming from a big city. The information that Tom and Linda provided us was useful. They were wonderful hosts and replied quickly with our inquiries.

We were visiting our daughter for Colby College’s Family Weekend and our son was looking at colleges in the area. We were greeted by a sweet note and jar of homemade apple jelly. Linda was a fantastic host and stopped by for a few minutes to greet us and see if we needed anything. She graciously let us pick apples and peaches from her orchard and gave us lots of suggestions for area travel. The house binder provided had many local points of interest and menus and came in really helpful. Definitely visit the Amish Charcuterie and Community Market. It was such an interesting experience and the community members were so friendly. Our kids had a great time on the zip line and playing in the adorable hobbit house. (Mind you they are teens!) The linens and towels were super clean and the kitchen appliances all new. We used the huge lobster pot to make a delicious lobster dinner and salad from local organic produce. Don’t miss the avocado toast, interesting teas or hand poured coffee at 93 Main Street Coffee. It rivaled some of the top NYC coffee places we like. We felt like we were visiting relatives and not renting a home for a few days. A great home that’s clean, cozy, private and safe and easy to communicate with the hosts. All necessary amenities were available and we cant wait to come back. My only recommendation is to bring slippers or socks with traction as the wood floors are slippery if you wear just plain socks.

This is indeed a cozy house. It is clean and comfortable with all the basics one would expect. The location is great -- it's a relatively short walk to downtown Belfast (one of the loveliest small towns in Maine). There is also easy access to the Belfast Rail Trail for running/biking/walking. I highly recommend Louisa's place if you're looking for a base from which to explore the greater Belfast area.

The place really does feel like a little home away from home. It’s spacious, clean, and there is literally everything you need; from spices to board games. The host is super friendly and replies very fast. Everything worked out perfectly and we had an amazing time. Already recommend the place to a friend.

You can expect a clean, cozy and carefree atmosphere, just like home. It is easy to relax and sit around the kitchen table with coffee in the morning or spend a casual evening at the cottage with take out food from one of the many restaurants in Belfast. It is close to everything, yet very quiet at night.

Sarah made sure we had everything we needed and were well taken care of. The Yurt is beautiful and solid; with homey touches of banners and books. The area is very rural so we heard lots of different animals at night such as owls and coyotes. There are roosters in the area so you may wake up from them. The night sky was amazing! There was no light pollution. I have not seen that many stars in such a long time. They looked close enough to touch; very memorizing. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you!

Roberts place was a nice place to put my head down at night. He communicated clearly with me leading up to and during the stay. My trip lasted nearly two weeks and I had zero problems the entire time. A nice warm room with space, firm bed, cooking options if needed... couldn’t ask for much else. Location was nice as it was sort of near everything in the Waterville area. Would highly recommend for 1-2 people if they are looking for value and don’t need to live a lavish lifestyle.

Perfect spot

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing place for a getaway. The view from the deck is breath-taking- we went during leaf peeping season and were sure to wake up to watch the sun rise!

The pictures just don’t do this really unique space justice —the view is breathtaking and the cabin is very cozy. Loved that we were in a very walkable distance to the brewpub yet when you’re at the cabin, you are still secluded and feels private. The host and those we met in the brewpub were super friendly — We definitely hope to return!

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. The views are incredible. The cabin is adorable and cozy. You must go eat the brewpub while you’re here. The food and staff were incredible. Guy was excellent with communication and answered all my messages promptly.

We had a wonderful experience in Guy’s cabin. Not only was the cabin itself charming and perfect for our family get-away, but the brew pub on site with delicious wood-fired pizza, great beer, hard cider and bbq, made our experience OUTSTANDING. I will highly recommend this listing to anyone headed to the Liberty, ME area.

We loved our stay at Guy's cabin - it is truly a special place and you can tell that Guy has put in a lot of thought to make it a wonderful experience for his guests. Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend longer there. Check-in and communication were super easy. We loved that there are trails to explore right out the back door (thanks Guy for your work on this), and as everyone has mentioned, the view from the cabin is amazing. Having the brewpub onsite is convenient but set just far enough to still feel private. The food was excellent! Just a heads up that there's no oven (in case like us you bought certain groceries), but otherwise, the cabin has everything you'd need. We hope to be back enjoying the view!

Some come for a night and head on up to Common Ground Fair 30 minutes away, but if you love nature and can stay for a couple days or more, do! I took my kayak out on the still water and saw a blue heron, a nesting loon, a bald eagle and a beaver dam on a small island. Went swimming and lay on the dock and read in the sun. Heard owls and coyotes at night. Karen was very accommodating and friendly. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Great little camping spot in a nice, central location. Wonderful to have access to a hot shower and toilet! Sitting around the fire pit at night was perfect and we really enjoyed it.

Nice place to set up a tent for the night. It had access to an outdoor shower and indoor bathroom. The lake is beautiful, but bring plenty of heavy duty bug spray for the mosquitoes.

Mo, the host, is truly a gem and so humble! She has a wealth of experiences, and these touches make the stay so thoughtful and comfortable. She has an lively farm, and her dogs are such funny characters. If you’re in Maine and want to get away from the hustle and bustle to slow down your pace, this is a great place to do so. My only regret is not having stayed longer!! Highlight of my trip.

Exceptional accommodations on a bucolic working farm with the most welcoming and attentive host! Truly unique experience, you will not be disappointed. Comfortable, welcoming and very clean home!

As a fine arts painter, I look for out of the way places to stay and paint. Mo’s place fit that bill nicely. My host (Mo) was friendly and very helpful in pointing out places to paint and things to do the area. I enjoyed a nice meal at the local cafe (Sweet Season Farm Cafe) and then stopped in at the local Blueberry Festival. My room upstairs had its own entrance and was comfortable, neat and clean. The place is a small working farm, with chickens, cows, sheep, pigs and two large friendly dogs. I would definitely visit again.

Super awesome place!! So unique, cozy and a great little get away. The private walking trails in the woods right behind the cabin are a huge bonus. Highly recommend this stay!

Such a unique and cozy place!

Our family of 8 very much enjoyed our stay at Laura’s cabin & caboose! It was really an ideal spot for us. The 4 boys loved sleeping and playing in the caboose. Our girls were thrilled with the loft. We had 2 very cozy and pleasant evenings together. The fireplace great! Home away from home!

Laura and Chris's cabin and caboose are nothing short of amazing, from the milky way at night to the trails and coffee in the morning. Both spaces are impressive with their comfy touches. Laura was a great host by accommodating us at the last minute and the space was absolutely immaculate. Also, there's an apple orchard and the cabin/caboose fits 8 people with two bathrooms-like you needed more convincing. I'll undoubtedly be back! Thank you!

This is wonderful place to stay. Both Caboose and Cabin are very unique and we love both of the exterior and interior. I really appreciate that Laura offered this place for me to propose to girlfriend. Our friends also enjoyed staying with us. We would definite come back again in the future.

Beautiful hand-built cabin overlooking a pond. Allows you to disconnect and immerse yourself into nature. Perfectly quiet without the background hum of city noise. Would definitely stay again!

This is THE perfect spot to get away and recharge. Leave your blow dryer, lap top and worries at home and enjoy living simply and beautifully. The cabin is so thoughtfully crafted from top to bottom and appointed beautifully with heart and attention to even the smallest details. There were fresh flowers by my bed and logs and kindling by the fire. The surrounding woods are beautifully managed, but still wild and wonderful to explore. You can kayak or swim in the nearby ponds (there are two to enjoy!) or just curl up with a book on the porch or by the cozy wood stove. Expect to be serenaded by owls at night and loons and woodpeckers by day, plus the occasional scolding by curious chipmunks! Julie and Steve are so warm and friendly and available to offer suggestions or answer questions. My stay at their cabin was a complete delight from start to finish!

This cabin is truly a special place that’s amazing for getting away and soaking in the beauty of nature. All the amenities you need to be comfortable while still being disconnected from civilization in the best way possible. The cabin is truly a work of art with so much thought put into every detail.

An amazing place for quiet reflection and cozy comfort. The wood burning stove kept everything nice and toasty, but even if we had not used it, it was still warm and comfy inside. It did add a great amount of ambiance though! It doesn't have a tv, but we did not miss it even a little (even my teenage son didn't miss it!). Beds are quite comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. If you have difficulty climbing, stay in the bed downstairs. But the loft upstairs was so nice and worth the climb up the unique staircase. Jim and Doreen's directions were spot on and they gave us a head's up on any inclement weather conditions. It was a wonderful place to stay and we hope to be back again next year!

Such an amazing spot! You won't regret staying here, we are already plotting our return. Note that nearby Ralph's is not currently open for dinner so you will need to travel a bit for dinner (it's open for breakfast and lunch though!! It's sooo good)!

This cottage was perfect for our stay in Maine. It was very clean and quite cozy. It has a homey feel that you don't get everywhere. There was easy communication with the hosts and questions were answered quickly. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to stay again.

This cabin is amazing. It’s gorgeous, clean, smells incredible, and is just the right distance away from town. My husband and I aren’t very outdoorsy, but we loved it. I think people more outdoorsy than we are would absolutely adore it here. The beds were both so comfy, and the pillows are amazing. The wood burning stove is also great! Love, love, love.

What an excellent cabin!! Cozy, clean and just adorable! Relaxed by the fire pit and snuggled up for a couple nights for a weekend getaway. Not hard to find at all and great local stores for food and goods. Loved Ralph's cafe down the road. We will be back to visit again for sure! Don't pass up a chance to stay here if you can!

Libby was a great host even though I didn't get to talk much with her. I only had a short amount of time to do a lot of hiking that I wanted to do so I was gone all the time except to sleep. The bed was the best part to me - nice and warm and comfy. I don't think there's heating at night but there's an electric blanket and I didn't get cold.

Libby and Darryl were great hosts, easy to talk to and attentive. Their cozy home is a perfect spot for two people. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals, and Libby was very helpful in pointing out where things were located. The house is intricately decorated with shells and ocean treasures, and contains unique quirky features and artwork everywhere you look. Great cookies and homemade kombucha. Quiet room in a cabin in the woods. Need to get away from it all, then this is the place. It was a little chilly in winter, but the heated blanket made it easy to get to sleep.

Libby really undersells her wonderful cabin. The room is comfortable and clean and her home is just a work of art by her grandparents who built it. Just a few minutes from Belfast but beautifully rural and quiet. Will definitely be back

If you enjoy rustic, quiet places with a working homestead feel, this place is for you. I think it's great- Libby's grandfather designed and built the house and outbuildings himself. It's an unusual design and a really sweet place. The room is good sized, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is large, clean and there's a big jacuzzi-style soaking tub. I would happily stay here again and I definitely recommend it!

Cozy ,eclectic and charming! Pictures don’t do it justice the property is beautiful. There are two screen porches. Only a ten minute ride to Belfast. Libby and Darryl are very welcoming. We would definitely recommend it!

Amy & Richard are wonderful hosts. I recommend requesting a spot by the pond, it is purely gorgeous. I also highly recommend renting a tent and/or the setup + take down add on -- if you aren't an avid camper, this is WONDERFUL in order to enjoy the experience of camping without the stress. 10/10!

Cute, cozy apartment just outside Belfast. Just needed a place to crash and this was very lovely. Amy was very friendly when I bumped into her in the evening!

Amy’s place is a nice place! I stayed there while visiting family. It’s a modern and simple place that has all the essentials- towels, WiFi, Roku and coffee! I found the place to be sparkling clean. I didn’t interact with Amy but I prefer less interaction while traveling as I’m typically too busy and/ or tired from driving to want interaction. It’s just a few minutes outside of town and easy to find.

A nice little spot on a quiet road. Never met the owner, but that was fine, she was very pleasant and prompt with responses through messages. Had everything I was looking for in a small weekend getaway for a great value

My boyfriend and I travelled to Maine for a wedding, and we had an amazing time! Hope & Jamie we’re incredibly responsive, accommodating and kind! They had fresh flowers at home waiting for us (I love flowers), and the studio was super clean! Very peaceful and quiet area! When we weren’t at the wedding venue, my boyfriend and I got to enjoy a couple of drinks while playing scrabble, which was available for us! We would definitely come back!!

My girlfriend and I had an excellent stay in this beautiful home! It was perfect for the two of us and served as an awesome home base for all the traveling we did around Maine. From here we easily travelled to Belfast, Camden, Rockland, Acadia state park, bar harbor, Portland and Bangor with ease. Just a few minutes down the road you can find a general store and even a dollar general to get any necessities you forgot! The home was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you again for the amazing stay!

Both Bernie and his daughter were wonderfully welcoming and accommodating. The home, part of a lovely and hard-working farm, has a warm and relaxed vibe, and the private bedroom was large, sunny and comfortable.

What you see is what you get except you will probably get a bit more if you want.

Bernie and Jody are great hosts and conveniently available to guests. They are quite busy managing their organic farm which we were invited to look around and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The house is full of antique touches and warming aromas that are made to make you feel right at home.

This is the second time I've stayed at Full Circle Farm, and look forward to my next stay there in the future. Bernie, Jody and their family are super kind, welcoming and exceptional hosts; we appreciated the AM coffee and tea as well as mint tea with maple as a nightcap, the opportunity to purchase their freshly harvested produce, and the advice and directions provided for local destinations. Very comfortable and warm farmhouse with a rich family history in a beautiful rural location.

Full Circle Farm is a century old Maine farmhouse. There is a myriad of rooms that Bernie and Jody rent out as airbnb room as well as rooms for the farm exchange workers. It is full of rustic charm and farm history. There is always something happening at Full Circle Farm.

This is a quaint little farmhouse that had just what we needed. We came from Acadia and needed to be in Boston early the next day - this was the perfect location! We stayed in a second floor bedroom with two beds and a private bathroom. If you're looking for a place with frills, this isn't it. If you're looking for a very comfortable place to rest your head and incredible hospitality, you've found the right place! Bernie communicated with us very early on with directions for the farmhouse and was there on the porch with a warm welcome when we arrived. The next day, he provided great recommendations for local breakfast spots. I wish we could have stayed more than one night!

We seriously loved this cottage! Katie was such a great host. She was super helpful before hand and during our stay. We loved the size and location of the cottage, perfect for a girls get away! The home was decorated super cute and everything was clean and put together. We loved that there were games to play, we played cards every night! Would highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back :)

Katie's place is right on the lake so affords beautiful, relaxing mornings and sunsets. We visited to take advantage of its proximity to the Common Ground Fair—we were vendors, and needed a home base—and this was an easy drive to and from. Thanks Katie, for a peaceful retreat!

This was a great lake cabin experience. We loved being in the living area and being able to look out into the trees and see the lake. And sitting outside by the edge of the lake at sunset and listening to the loons out on the lake.

We had an amazing stay in the cabin, full of thoughtful touches and little amenities that made the stay that much more comfortable. We had fires right next to the lake, cooked meals in the kitchen, played a TON of board games with that fantastic view of the lake as our backdrop, it was perfect!

A beautiful place to relax, no TV but when you come downstairs you have a beautiful view that I just found myself sitting and staring at every morning!

The cottage was wonderful! It was perfect for a weekend getaway! It has everything you need for an easy, comfortable stay and has such a wonderful location. The lake is right at your fingertips, but you can still access the grocery store and a couple of restaurants so easily. Katie was extremely communicative, accommodating, and so helpful with anything that came up. We would definitely recommend her lovely place!

A perfect getaway from the city. Quiet, beautiful and simple. A great place to unwind and relax. The cabin is well setup and clean. A definite highlight to our trip.

The cottage was perfect for our short fall trip in Maine! Maia and Jacob manage to offer an off the grid experience that is unique, simple and comfortable, complete with romantic oil lamp lighting, a great collection of books and games, and beautiful views around the property. Be aware that cell service might be spotty in the area. If you think you may need more light, you could always bring your own headlamp. Though we didnt get to meet our hosts Maia was super communicative and provided great instructions for getting there and recommendations nearby as well. Highly recommend!

Staying in Sam's r-pod was a really cool experience. The "pod" was clean and well organized. It just has a comfortable and unique feel. Its close to downrown and yet feels out in the country. I appreciate the eco-friendliness and concern for the enviornment. I would recommend to anyone looking for something a little different.

Great option for a private sleeping quarters en route heading north to Acadia! Trailer is a nicely arranged space to enjoy for cooking, sleeping, and sitting around while talking or using mobile devices. Loved aroma of evergreens on paths to trailer and outhouse. Close to center of Belfast, but surprisingly quiet neighborhood for good sleep.

This Airbnb is better than expected! It’s cute and has all you need! The outhouse is a bit buggy, but much cleaner than anticipated! This family cares about the environment and there are so many details that show this! We loved our time here. The early morning was so beautiful and quiet. It was lovely to sit outside drinking tea while the sun rose. We were grateful for our time here!

The camper was a lovely way to spend a work night! Check-in couldn't have been easier, the camper was super clean and had enough privacy to feel like a mini get-away. I was glad I brought a blanket, but I chose not to turn on the heat until I got up to shower in the am. Glad I brought shampoo, it's listed in the amenities, but there wasn't soap or shampoo in the shower. Overall, a great place for the money and if I come back in warm weather, I'd check it out again.

Ann's place is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. It is conveniently located near local restaurants and attractions. We particularly enjoyed the local movie theater, which often shows wonderful independent films. It was really delightful to kick back and relax at Ann's place after enjoying dinner and a movie. Entry is easy, parking is convenient, and all of the necessities are provided. We would definitely stay here again.
