Its walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants and the Sunday Plaza, the biggest market place in the region with food, fresh produce, textiles, pottery, furniture, traditional clothing. 40 minutes will take you to El Tule. 30 minutes will take you to Mitla. It’s located 45 minutes from the international airport, Hierve El Agua, Montel Alban, the main city and many other tourist places, including textile and pottery towns. It’s an excellent location!

You can sight see our Mitla/MonteAlban ruins where you can enjoy the archaeological sights and take pictures (25-45 min away)! Enjoy Matatlan famous for its Mezcal (45 minutes away!) Visit the 2000 yr old Tule tree (30 min away)! Visit Teotitlan and see our textiles (15 min away)!

Downtown Casa Sabina Skyview

Downtown Casa Sabina Skyview is in a quiet gated neighborhood, five blocks from the main pedestrian street of Alcalá. The house was fully remodeled in 2021. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans, and two full bathrooms. The view of the city and Soledad Church from the private rooftop terrace is breathtaking, and if you look in the right direction you can see Monte Albán. Our appreciation of Oaxaca shines through every mural and alebrije by local artists. See you soon!

Villa Rey—Traditional Hacienda Home Near Oaxaca

Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

Cabin with sleeping platform and terrace viewpoint located on the mezcal route. While you rest, enjoy the scenery of the agave fields, mountains, and stars. Outside there is a shared kitchen that you can use to prepare your own food. The cabin is located on the international highway that connects the capital with tourist places such as Tlacolula de Matamoros, Mitla or Hierve el Agua. All kinds of public transportation pass by on the road: bus, van, or taxi.
