Folding table. A separate digital shower just across from the bedroom. Off-street parking at top of the road, unless my car space is available. This two-storey house is situated in a lovely tree-lined cul-de-sac, which has been totally renovated in recent years and has a very fresh, stylish but warm feeling. Entry is by steps leading up to the front door. The hallway is small. The stairs to the bedrooms and shower room are directly ahead, and the lounge door is to the right. Downstairs is the lounge/dining room. Behind the tall bookcase is a small cloakroom. The kitchen is entered through the French doors. The garden leads on from the kitchen French doors. The garden is bathed in sunshine much of the day (weather permitting of course) and an ideal place for walking around or sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee.
    My home is located in Rushden, England, United Kingdom I love my little leafy cul-de-sac. It's nice and quiet. There are some lovely nature parks and walks to enjoy. Rushden town is small but has everything you could want. Beautiful little pubs in surrounding villages. Rushden Lakes Silverstone race track Santa pod Karting Stanwick Lakes are all within half hour drive. Rushden Lakes development opened 2017, is a beautiful nature reserve and retail and leisure park which is only a short walk away. Here you will find several great restaurants, cinema under development, cycling paths, adventure playground, canoeing as well as House of Fraser and other retail shops. And if all that sounds too much fun, you could sip on a coffee at one of the cafes overlooking the lakes.

    I love my pretty little leafy cul-de-sac. It's nice and quiet. Rushden Town is within 20-minute walk, with a beautiful old church at the heart of it. You can enjoy lovely walks in the local parks. We are also very lucky to be the home of Rushden Lakes - a beautiful nature reserve and retail park. A large cinema and leisure centre is due to open Spring 2019. But for now you can mix shopping with walking or cycling through natural woodland, sitting by the lakes or taking the kids for an active play in the playground. Northamptonshire has some outstanding green space and lakes to enjoy, so well worth a weekend visit with the family too! We are also surrounded by many beautiful villages and quaint pubs - worth exploring! Santa Pod racing track is about 20-minute drive - so another way to enjoy a great day out with the family!

  • This Airbnb was completely beyond our expectations. Deborah’s home is stunningly beautiful and spacious. She has thought of every detail to ensure our stay was pleasant. She provided a number of items to make sure we had what we needed such as water bottles, shower gel, toothpaste and mouth wash. She also kindly offered to make dinner and provided a delicious breakfast - fruit, cereal etc. I highly recommend. I’ve stayed in numerous places around the world and this is going to be one of the top places I’ve stayed in. Such good quality for money too. We also went for drinks with Deborah in a local pub. It was great getting to know her and her partner. Extremely friendly host. Thank you times 100!

We are located within walking distance of the beautiful new RUSHDEN LAKES SHOPPING AND DINING COMPLEX with a large selection of high quality shops and restaurants and Rushden town centre, with easy access to both the A6 and the A45.
    Quite private accommodation situated in mature gardens.
    Our house is situated up a private lane 2 minutes walk from the local park. Pubs, restaurants and shops are also within easy walking distance.

    Studio-style spacious design The Annexe makes the most of the private space being both light & airy yet fully centrally heated making it warm and cosy at all times. The Annexe contains a fully fitted kitchenette allowing our guests to be self sufficient. A shower room and living/bedroom area completes the accommodation. The Annexe overlooks our south-facing garden accessed through its own french windows. Off road parking is available. Close proximity to the major roads of A14, A45 & A6
    Completely private from the main house, the Annexe was built in 2017 as an extension to our lovely, traditional 1930’s Semi. The property benefits from its large, third of an acre garden with 2 ponds, one of which contains koi but both surrounded by a variety of plants from banana trees to more traditional perennials. The garden also includes beds & borders, a wild flower & grasses area at the back (which bees & damselflies love), not forgetting our walnut tree, where in the Autumn, our guests can pick some walnuts (if of course the squirrels do not get to them first!). Hidden in the large trees at the rear right hand side of the garden you might even see the bats flying at dusk for their nightly feed.  Guests are invited to share the garden and enjoy the peace and solitude. A large terrace in front of the French windows & twin garden seat offers plenty of space for the guests to just enjoy the atmosphere. The studio-style Annexe features a living and sleeping area divided by open shelving with an overhead glass roof lantern allowing light to pass through into the living quarters giving a cosy feel as you look up to see the sky above you. A separate shower room and a kitchenette complete the guest accommodation.  The kitchenette offers our guests a stove with oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. All utensils, pots, pans and dishes and everything you would expect in a self-catering facility, and more!
    Although on a main road into this market town, close proximity to main roads (A14, A6 & A45 are all nearby) providing easy travel around the area for drivers. There are numerous bus services with bus stops almost directly outside the property. The locality has fantastic walks and cycling routes some linking the local lake areas of Stanwick & Rushden lakes with the newly opened Rushden Lakes Retail Park providing restaurants and major retailer shopping should you wish to indulge. https://www.rushdenlakes.com/
  • The Annex is the perfect home away from home, from the non-intrusive entrance; to the deluxe shower. It was warm, spacious, and has more than any traveller would ever need. The Annex sleeps two in a very comfortable Kingsized bed but had entertaining space for 4 comfortably. there is a full kitchenette (full-size oven, fridge freezer and a double gas hob) with all the cooking and baking accessories you could ask for. there is plenty of storage (wardrobe, chest, bedside cabinets, Kallax) The Annex is private and is not overlooked by the main house but there is access to the garden, which during the warmer, dryer days would be a great benefit. The Annex is cosy and comfortable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone ( just don't stay there on the days I want to book it again)

  • Jean’s place was warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating, which was super helpful, as my husband is handicapped. He used crutches inside. There was only on step up to get into the Annexe. We did bring a shower chair. The shower was wonderful. We loved the layout of the Annexe. It was very well thought out. There was a ton of personal storage space. The kitchen had everything you could ask for. I highly recommend!! Thanks much Jean for a delightful week!

    The Gable End is a self contained Annexe attached to our 17th century home. A shower room, with complimentary toiletries, and fully fitted kitchen are located on the ground floor, where you will also find a cosy living space with TV, sofa bed, recliner chair and space for dining. An open staircase leads to a light and airy attic bedroom with King size bed. The room is well equipped with hanging and drawer space for your clothes, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. All bedlinen and towels are provided, as well as free wifi. There is an extra charge if extra bed linen is needed when only 2 people are staying.
    We are situated in the heart of the village of Brigstock, surrounded by the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. We have a pub, which doesn’t yet serve food but we are hopeful, and a mini supermarket and country park on our doorstep. Nearby you will find some beautiful Stately homes including Burghley House, Boughton House, and Rockingham Castle. We are close to the historic towns of Stamford and Oundle and Adrenaline Alley is about 5 miles away.

    Modern house, 3 years old with comfy interior, king size bed and everything you could need for a pleasant stay whether working away, wanting a quiet retreat, or just passing. 5 mins from the A14 or A6, my place provides good access to Northampton, Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester. and Bedford. The beautiful town of Finedon itself boasts the alleged 3rd oldest pub in the country with its gorgeous food and old English decor. Shops, park, and takeaways 5 mins walk.
    Tidy, spacious, comfortable, quiet space. Please leave things as you find them!
    Quiet area in Finedon 5 minute walk from Co-op, post office, restaurants, park, tennis courts and pub.

I welcome families with infants, but please be aware I do not have any stair gates and there are 2 sets of stairs. Also, there is no cot in the premises, but I've had plenty of families bring their own travel cots. The kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils, the lounge has a vertical fan, a digital/smart HD TV, with Amazon Prime, Netflix, You Tube etc plus an additional Apple TV box. The master bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobes, a vertical fan, en-suite and blackout blinds in the en-suite and bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a single bed with a pull out bed underneath on castors (already fully made up with bed sheets etc) it just needs to be pulled out when you need it and pushed back in when not in use. There is also a built in wardrobe in this bedroom plus a blackout Velux blind. The 3rd bedroom has been converted into a self contained workplace/study with 2 large LCD monitors, wireless printer/scaner, shredder, coffee machine and small fridge. The property is protected by CCTV for both our safety and peace of mind. *** Strictly no smoking through the property ***
    The property is within walking distance of the old market town Higham Ferrers, Stanwick Lakes and the Rushden Lakes Development with various shopping and entertainment complexes. Within a short drive there are attractions such as Silverstone race track, Santa Pod raceway, Billing Aquadrome, Wicksteed Park, Stoke Bruerne Canal & Rockingham Castle. Other nearby towns include Northampton, Wollaston, Mawsley, Corby, Earls Barton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Bedford and Huntingdon. Road links are very good with easy access to the A14, M1, M6 and A1 all within 20 minutes.

    Nice airy room. New build property. Very clean house. Wardrobes and drawers available. Close to local shops and we also have local Sainsbury's. Great local restaurants which all have good reviews, you should try Khushboo Indian restaurant which has amazing food and they also have an upstairs lounge bar which you can use before you eat. Easy access to A6, A509, A14 and A45. Kettering town centre is only several minutes by car and you can catch buses locally very easy.

    Situated on a 6 acre site, close to Stamford, Oundle, Peterborough Business Park and The East of England Showground, we rebuilt this barn brick by brick in 2018. This is an end bedroom which offers its own access separate from our main family home. The bedroom is spacious with a good sized en-suite shower room. The room has vaulted ceilings and is light and airy with its own heating controls. Parking is available on site for a number of vehicles to include horse boxes and boats&event trailers.
    The room is fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. We have included a microwave and kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. The room has its own access from outside and it sown underfloor heating controls to set the temperate to your own comfort. There is a shared patio and garden of which the garden is still under construction.
    Located just a few miles off the A1 and A605 we are ideally located for a break whilst travelling or if you are needing Stamford, Oundle, Peterborough Business Park or the East of England Showground. There are some good restaurants within a 5 minute drive including Loch Fyne, The Cuckoo at Alwalton and The Harvester at the Showground.

    Beautiful apartment with entirely new, modern furniture. Under 5 minutes walk from the Centre of Kettering Town and under a mile from the train station, but the apartment is very quiet. The apartment is on the first floor and has two Juliette balconies. TV in the room comes equipped with Netflix and a lot of other video and streaming services. Wifi free and fast. Use of coffee, tea, milk etc. Is all permitted.

    This newly built double room and shower is in our large family home in the middle of the beautiful and peaceful village of Lowick. We are a 5 minute drive from the A14 at Thrapston, and 10 minutes in each direction to Corby and Kettering. The double room has en-suite shower, TV desk and tea and coffee. Wi-fi is very fast and more than adequate for streaming. The village pub - The Snooty Fox - is a two minute walk from our house and does good food. More than ample parking on the street.
    Breakfast of our own cereal or toast and homemade jam standard. Cooked breakfast at weekends by prior arrangement for £10 per person paid in cash.
    Lowick is a small village of stone built houses all once owned by Drayton Estate - the house of which was originally built in 1300. There is good walking by footpaths in the area. St Peter's Church is considered a very fine example of a village church, mainly due to its stained glass and memorial statues.
  • It is a very attractive traditional stone and part thatched cottage, set in a large pretty garden. We were made to feel immediately welcome. The photos do not fully convey how attractive and spacious feeling it all is. It is very stylish and extremely comfortable, with plenty of warm wood finishes. There are attractive views from the room over the village and countryside beyond, even on an otherwise grey mid winter day. Over the years we have regularly stayed in the area near Lowick, at local pubs and hotels. For us, this was more comfortable and tranquil, and better value overall.

    Our lovely home is situated in Kettering town centre, a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the train station. The room has been recently redecorated with a newly fitted bathroom. The bathroom may be shared with the adjoining room if another guest is to book, otherwise the bathroom will be for your use only. We have two friendly cats, so we ask guests are ok with cats, we don’t allow the cats in the guest rooms

    Our bright and airy studio apartment has been described as 'a peace of heaven' by our guests. Its well fitted kitchen, great rain shower and exceptionally comfortable bed makes your stay wonderful. If you want to stay in touch with the rest of the world then super fast broad band is installed in the apartment, if not then just chill and relax and enjoy the peace tranquility and beauty of Barnwell. An exceptional stay in a stunningly beautiful village!
    The property is a studio apartment situated above our garage. The property has a shower room with hand basin and toilet,the shower is modern and has a rain shower facility. Shampoo and conditioner is provided and some little extras for those who have run short or have forgotten personal items. There is a fully fitted and equipped modern kitchen in the main room. Sheets and towels are included. There is a TV and DVD player in the room along with a cd player and an iphone/ipod docking station attached to the clock radio. The picturesque village of Barnwell is nicely situated being close to the historic town of Oundle and within easy travel to the cities of Peterborough, Northampton, Corby, and Cambridge. The nearest train stations are in Peterborough, Kettering and in Huntingdon. Buses can be taken from there to Oundle and then there is a four mile taxi journey from there, or pickup can be arranged on request for a small fee. Our local public house has a restaurant at the rear and along with many other establishments in the local villages offer good food and a friendly atmosphere. For the connoisseur of fine foods the Talbot hotel offers a good dining experience along with the more contemporary establishment of Dexters in the centre of Oundle and the Tap and Kitchen by the Warf as you come into Oundle where you can sit out and enjoy the river view. For food shopping we have the lovely Waitrose store which has convenient parking on the edge of Oundle. Barnwell is very pretty and known for its links to the royal family as Barnwell Castle is owned by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. The Village has its own shop, public house, church and stream that runs through the center of the village There are bridleways and walking tracks woven into Barnwell and throughout the local area. Barnwell Country Park is a beautiful and tranquil place to visit offering kayak hire for a trip down the river or an enjoyable and tranquil cycle ride through down the country roads and tracks, both Kayaks and bicycles are available to hire from Trek Kits in Oundle. Burghley House is just a 20 minute car journey away, the historic house is open to the public during the spring and summer months. The annual horse trials are held there in September. Rutland Water is also a lovely place to visit for walkers or cyclists or anyone wanting to experience the water sports offered there. Water sport enthusiasts are spoiled for choice in this area as there is also Tallington lakes and Ferry Meadows (Peterborough) where you can hire sailing dinghies and wind surfers. Ferry meadows has an old fashioned steam train that is operating during the spring and summer for those who wish to take a nostalgic step back in time. Horse riding is available from a riding establishment close to Ferry meadows. Elton Hall is 10 minutes car journey from Barnwell, they host music festivals and events throughout the year. We are also close to the music festival held at Abbots Ripton in July each year called the Secret Garden Party. All in all the area hosts a huge variety of events and facilities for the outgoing visitor, alternatively those who wish to just relax and take a saunter through a beautiful and ancient village will be able to enjoy a stay here in Barnwell.     Barnwell is a historic, quaint and stunningly beautiful village, set in the Nothamptonshire countryside of rolling hills. We have a stream that runs through the village that enhances the relaxing feel to it. The surrounding area has multiple villages of similar size and beauty all situated within easy reach of the local town of Oundle. Visit the Talbot hotel with the famous staircase that Mary queen of scots walked down and Fotheringhay Castle where she was beheaded to name just a couple of interesting points.

  • Sandra’s home was lovely for our 1 night stay over New Year’s Eve. The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. All of her special touches including breakfast and even having all of the shower amenities really made a difference to our stay. The location was beautiful and quiet, just how we wanted to spend New Years. There is a local pub nearby - a 5 minute walk, the drinks were really cheap, the atmosphere was great as everyone seemed to be locals and know eachother. Overall we were really pleased with our stay here and would definitely recommend and would like to go back! Thanks Sandra :-)

Only a 5 minute drive from the new Rushden Lakes Shopping and Leisure Centre Middle Farm Villa is a small, friendly family run Bed and Breakfast. Well behaved pets and cyclists welcome.
    We have two beautiful double ensuite bedrooms separated with a communal dining room. In the dining room we have a toaster, fridge and microwave. At the weekends this is where we serve our delicious full English breakfasts - or healthier alternatives! The accommodation is housed separate from the main house in a converted 18th century barn it has it's own entrance and dedicated off road parking.

    Private, free-standing, one-bedroom guesthouse in garden of a Georgian house located in a lovely village close to all amenities and good transport links. The stone-built guesthouse is on one floor with a large open-plan living space with kitchenette, small toilet and bathroom, and double bedroom. Sleeps 3 people including sofa-bed in main living area. The guesthouse has its own front door, accessed through the garden of the main family house. Dogs welcome by prior arrangement. No extra fee.
    Even though the guesthouse is very private it is part of our family home so expect to see us from time to time, especially in the garden. You will have access through the garden and a small private patio, but not use of main garden. The guesthouse is 10 metres from the main house. The kitchenette has a sink, two induction hobs, toaster and a microwave but no oven. Good for snacks but not for a full on meal. We supply tea, coffee, sugar and cooking basics like salt, pepper and oil. Milk, butter and small loaf of bread included. Log burning stove with free use of log store/coal in garage (fair use policy). TV with Amazon Fire Stick and DVD player. We welcome dogs by prior arrangement, with no extra charge (unless something gets damaged in which case we would agree a fee with you). Parking is free on the road outside the property.
    Isham is a pretty village, our house is located opposite a church and there is a village pub, also serving food, a few minutes walk down the road. There is no village shop but supermarkets, restaurants and cinema are all within 5 minutes drive.
