Jesse's Place was perfect for a 3 night get-away! Centrally located, we had the choice to walk, take public transportation or jump in the car. Detroit is such an amazing city full of art and culture! I strongly recommend the loft for all those planning a visit to the "D"!!!

Jesse's place was even nicer than the photos. It was in a beautiful old building, and the fact that it shared a parking lot with police station made me feel very safe as single woman. Loved the coziness, record player, lighting etc. Highly recommend!

Jesse's apartment was perfect for exploring Detroit. The building is amazing, and everything looked exactly as it did in the pictures. The location is ideal for exploring the Cass Corridor and there's loads of space to park nearby.

Jesse's place is wonderfully classy. Very comfortable accommodations -- put a Frank Sinatra record on and enjoy the abundant light coming through the large living room windows. Great location and building!

Zac and Renee's place was obviously created with love. They did a beautiful job on the apartment, located in a green neighborhood filled with other charming houses. It's a short walk to midtown shops and parking is easy outside the house. We met Renee as they were gardening outside when we arrived but had no issues getting the key out of the lockbox and feeling at home. (Taco the cat greeted us warmly on the doorstep too.)

Zac & Renee were great with keeping in contact and were really flexible with check-in time. I only met Zac in person and he was very helpful with giving me really good insight about the the city neighborhoods and all the changes happening in Detroit. The place itself was fantastic - huge open & airy space, gorgeously renovated / designed.

Such a relaxing place, the high ceilings and natural light really make for a nice calming vibe. Location is close to everything from Midtown to Corktown and downtown.

My husband and I stayed at Zac and Renee's apartment for 3 nights. I've been AirBnBing for a number of years, and this was one of my favourite experiences so far. The apartment is located on a quiet, tree-lined street, full of beautiful old homes (some renovated, some not, some actively being worked on). It is such a peaceful and green location that its hard to believe you are just a couple of miles (an easy car or bike ride) from downtown and midtown. The apartment itself is beautiful. It is *full* of light, clean, spacious, and tastefully, thoughtfully decorated. Some things we loved the most: Taco the cat hanging on the front porch, welcoming us home each day; the view over the wildflowers blooming in the side yard; morning coffee on the sofa, soaking up the light in the living room; restful deep sleeps in a hotel comfy, king-sized bed. Zac and Renee were lovely, responsive hosts. It was a great experience from beginning to end, and we'd stay again in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved our week at Zac and Renee's place. They have done such a wonderful job renovating this unique Detroit house, and were super accommodating if we ever had questions. We are from Mi, have lived right downtown Detroit, but if you aren't familiar w/the city we could see how this location could be easily misunderstood. Don't worry, it is very safe, and many of the houses are being quickly renovated/restored (even the ones that don't look like it from the outside). Detroit is such an amazing community of people and new developments, and this is the perfect place to stay for the Detroit experience!

We loved this apartment and the location was fantastic. There was lots to do and see within walking distance and several great dining options. The apartment is beautiful, big, and well-stocked. We really appreciated the detailed email with directions, instructions, and recommendations in the neighbourhood. It made navigating our stay very easy and we really liked the yoga teacher who was recommended - she came to the apartment and gave us a great class. I really hope to stay here again. It was a wonderful weekend trip.

My husband, young son, and I enjoyed our stay at Meghan's "Honor and Folly" on brick-lined Michigan Avenue in Corktown. The apartment is spacious (by New York City standards), clean, cozy, quiet and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the neighborhood and recommend venturing out by car to The Detroit Institute of Bagels, Pewabic Pottery, Belle Isle, Rose's Fine Food, Eastern Market, The Detroit Historical Museum, and Detroit Institute of Arts (be sure to catch a film in the beautiful theater).

Corktown is a great neighborhood and this listing is a fantastic home base from which to explore.

A wonderful flat and location.

This apartment is beautiful! It rained (a lot!) during our stay but this didn't really matter as Meghan had thoughtfully provided us with information including cab numbers and the apartment itself is above a row of trendy bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Detroit seems like a fascinating and buzzy place and we'd love to come back to explore some of those places we didn't get to see.

We truly feel we stayed at the best place in all of Detroit. Incredibly convenient, spacious, and with great amenities inside and just outside our door. Honor & Folly made the trip.

The place was even better than the description and photos. My husband and I were traveling with another couple and there was more than enough room for us. It is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Meghan gave us ideas of places to eat and things to do. All in all, a fantastic experience.

Meghan's place is really nice. It's on a lively block with restaurants & bars right outside the door. It's across from the old train station which we found fascinating. It's easy to get to and a fine location for exploring the rest of the city.

Kyle, Let me start off by saying how impressed my group was with the lofts. Both lofts H and J were clean, spacious and well lit. During our stay we entertained a large group of family members for an afternoon brunch, yet we never felt cramped. This place, in my opinion, is ideal for events of ALL SIZES. This loft was a great place to stay for a long weekend. Especially enjoyed the views from the roof balcony - and the endless vistas of the railroad tracks, old warehouses, and surrounding neighborhoods. Kyle was a communicative and friendly host, quick to reply with anything amiss -- but gave us plenty of room to make ourselves at home. The unit is large, well equipped with cooking supplies and plenty of towels and linens. Comfy, trendy, and just as pictured. Centrally located, we could get a Lyft in minutes to anywhere downtown for ~10$. A couple things to note : the loft is a large, open plan loft - if you are coming with other folks, know that you will hear everyone all the time as all rooms have open walls into the main space. Additionally, there are no curtains - so if you are a light sleeper, it might be best to pack a mask for your eyes, or simply be ready to wake with the sun and enjoy the early starts in Motor City. Lastly, there is a neat, eclectic event space across the alley - if you don't go an join in on the fun yourself, you might have a DJ playing tunes late into the night!

I can't say enough great things about Kyle's place. Very big, very clean and very cool. Defintely made our stay in Detroit incredible. Kyle was a great host who made sure everything went according to plan with no unpleasant surprises. Would definitely recommend staying here as you won't be disappointed!

Kyle is an awesome host! We rented the entire second floor of his property for a staff retreat my organization had in Detroit and it was great. I asked him a million questions beforehand that he answered promptly & he was also around to help with check-in. The pictures are all very accurate and depict the space well. Though the location isn't close to restaurants & things, I thought the neighborhood was awesome and fun to walk around to see all of its history. A few of my colleagues weren't too keen on the fact that there weren't curtains on the windows (definitely wouldn't be able to sleep-in late here), and that the space is not sound proof. Kyle communicated this with us, but it is worth noting that some of the bedrooms do not have doors and are "semi-private". Would definitely book again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay, from the moment we walked in we were thoroughly impressed with the loft. It's gorgeous! My only tip for future guests would be to avoid walking around in your skivvies- There were a few men on the roof directly outside the window in the morning. Awkward. Overall we'd recommend staying in the lofts. Definitely can't beat the price!

This studio apartment is absolutely perfect! I am such a sucker for natural light, minimalism, and cleanliness, and this place had all three down to a science. Jacquelyne and Mark were communicative and accommodating. The neighborhood is wonderful and just a hop & a skip from great coffee/retail spaces/dining. I would recommend to anyone, and will definitely be staying here next time i'm in town!

Sarah was quick to respond when we had any questions and the keyless entry was an unexpected bonus (it was great to not have to think about keys). The location is close to many great restaurants and is ideally located if you want to explore the city.

This was the easiest airbnb experience I've had to date! The check in was simple, the apartment was perfectly sized for a couple and very cozy, and it was well located in the midtown neighborhood. Sarah offered great tips about the neighborhood and her suggestion of dinner at the Selden Standard was a fantastic one. One of the best meals I've had on a while. Recommend all around.

What wonderful hosts! Barbara and John have captured all the special little touches that make you feel like you're staying with friends. Homemade muffins, extra toothbrushes, a fridge of favorite beverages, and a comfortable bed, these are a few of the many great accommodations they've provided. Really great space. It was a great size and very welcoming place to stay for a couple traveling. Barbara and John were great and very helpful with tips and suggestions. We really appreciated having some snacks and drinks for when we arrived as we had been traveling all day. Very easy to get to and close to everything you want to see.

This is a great apartment in a great location, within walking distance of pretty much everything you would choose to visit during a stay in Detroit. It is very comfortable and has everything you need and more for a great stay. There are refreshments in the fridge, tea & coffee and even more provided. Lots of local information at hand and the check in/out procedure was easy and hassle free. I will definitely stay again.

Barbara and John were incredible hosts. They provided us with off-street parking and even met us at the car to help carry in our bags. They gave us a brief tour of their beautiful studio, made helpful suggestions, and answered all of our questions. The space itself was uniquely decorated and felt modern and comfortable. There was an assortment of cold drinks in the fridge as well as coffee, tea, and plenty of snacks. You could tell that they put a lot of thought into every aspect of their guests' stays. On top of that, it was only a short walk from Gold Cash Gold, Katoi, and other amazing Corktown spots. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience that we would recommend to anyone!

My husband and I stayed here and had a wonderful time! Upon our arrival, Barbara and John met us and showed us around the loft so we could get settled. Great space, plenty of snacks and the shower had incredible water pressure! Only having one night in the city was challenging. There's so much to see and do! They had lots of suggestions on restaurants and bars in the area which was helpful. We went to Two James for some delicious craft cocktails. We will plan to stay a couple nights here next time we are in Detroit and look forward to our next stay in Corktown!

Barbara and John are the most wonderful, helpful, kind and considerate hosts. Everything about this experience was top notch. The studio is so charming, its clear that they have given much thought to what a guest would want and need. The decor is wonderful, John's photos line the wallls, there is a huge bed, tons of pillows, its super clean, has strong AC, a kitchen stocked with coffee and snacks, a fridge with beverages. The area is so cool, close to Eastern Market, great restaurants, I could go on. 100% we are coming back.

When traveling to the Dearborn/Detroit STAY AT JOEL'S!! Your reservation is not only for a private room but for your own private floor (2nd floor). The upstairs includes; a bedroom (w/Queen mattress & extra blankets); full bath (stocked w/towels, washcloths, etc.); and a foyer/work area (w/large desk). On top of the amenities Joel offers he is an amazing host who is considerate, super relaxed, and extremely helpful. I have taken over 10 trips to the Dearborn/Detroit area (all lodging booked through Air B&B) and staying at Joel's place was the best overall experience that I have had!! If you have the chance STAY AT JOEL'S!!!

Overall, yes you should stay here. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and very easy to communicate with. I checked in last minute and enjoyed their living room to get some work done. The bedroom is perfect for a couple traveling with a child (two beds). There are pets in the house that will ask for your attention. The house does have a lived-in feel (it's more staged in the photos). So it feels like you're in someone's house, not a "for Air BnB only" place. It was a good experience.

Maureen and Jono are exceptional hosts. Their historic home is magnificent and in a wonderful and friendly neighborhood that is easily accessible to everything Dearborn has to offer. Bruin and Monster (I didn't meet Robot) made the visit even better! I will be relocating to Dearborn and their input was invaluable.

Maureen's house is gorgeous! It is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, conveniently close to some restaurants. We had a great stay there, and would gladly go back if we were again in the area.

Phoenix was great communicating prior to my stay! I only stayed for about 5 hours total, so the price was perfect for getting ready for a concert and sleeping a couple hours before work. The home is how described and shown in pictures except the bathroom did not have a sink nor was this disclosed prior to my stay.

She had a thorough guide put together to tell you the hot spots around the city, and her personal recommendations for dinner were spot on. A short drive from Fairlane Green, which had an inclusive variety of stores for all of the random little things I had to pick up (due to poorly planned packing). Very convenient. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Phoenix was great! She had a lot of information about local events and activities put together which was really helpful. It was easy to get from her house to airport, downtown, etc. Friendly cats never hurt a trip either!

Ahmad's house was clean and cozy. Perfect place for my friends and I. About a 20min drive to Downtown, where we spent most of the weekend at Movement Festival. Located a block away from W Warren Ave which has a few stores/restaurants nearby, so we didn't even need to rent a car. Nice patio to sit out front and great next door neighbors too!

Our stay was to take our 6 1/2 year old granddaughter to the Henry Ford Museum and I must say this location was perfect, very short distance and very easy to get to & from. All though I did give Edward 5 stars all across the board there are a few suggestions my husband & I would like to share. The listing says 2 bedrooms which it is however there is only 1 bed which Edward did point out to me in our private communications prior to booking but I did notice a box in the second bedroom so I'm going to assume he will be adding a 2nd bed? In the kitchen there was plenty of bottled water I'm guessing for renters to enjoy, there was also some vernors and left over items from previous guest & some snack foods. All major appliances were furnished however a few smaller ones were not such as a can opener, toaster & the biggest one for us a coffee pot All of which are very simple cheap fixes. The furniture I must say was very nice and not cheap like you find in a lot of Airbnb's & hotel rooms. Loved the bed in the master and our granddaughter found the couch comfortable. The T.V's were very nice and of good size and the cable service I wish I got back here at home because I would switch from Direct T.V in a heartbeat if I did. Anyhow for Edward being new at this I think he did a wonderful job hosting us, his communication was always on point and his apartment is very comfortable, I would deff stay at his place again should the need ever arise!!!!!

Cute home, super close to major roadways and shopping centers. Was used for a family stay, every room is stocked with the amenities you might need. Finished basement provides another room for sleep or to just watch TV.

Vanessa's home is just as advertised. Everything was clean and in order. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, with plenty of extra linen. The snacks Vanessa left in the basket was a great bonus for late night snacking. If you are a sports fan the tv's do not have ESPN so be prepared to watch sporting games at a local bar or restaurants. All in all I would rent again myself and recommend to anyone else.

We had such a nice time in the Detroit area and staying at Vanessa's home was just perfect for us. A well-appointed house with easy access to the highway, lots of stores and dining options. Everything went so well: communications, ease of finding the house, and checking in and out were the easiest we have had yet on AirBnB. Decor is perfect for everyone to suite anyone's taste, and lots of little details of Detroit icons. Neighborhood is actually very peaceful & quiet; I ran or walked around the area every day alone w/no issues--even have an ice cream truck that goes by every afternoon.
