If you want to be immersed in rural Vermont and get the detachment from your hectic life then Colleen and Jon's spot is the place for you. With very personal touches and quick responses to any inquiry you have expect to feel spoiled Sutton. We were hoping to rent some snowshoes to trek around the property, and our hosts provided their own - you're dealing with some genuine people to say the least. Can't give this listing a better rating, and we certainly hope to return in the future!

This place is great. This is now the second time we have stayed here and we plan to do it every year now. It’s in a beautiful location and such a comfortable home to stay in. The hosts are helpful and take good care of their guests. You won’t be disappointed with this gem.

Kelsey's yurt was the perfect spot for my brother and I to meet up for some quality time off the grid together with my pup. The location is perfect if you're planning to ride Kingdom Trails—a stone's throw away, yet tucked quietly in the woods. Close to so many other offerings in the NEK too. We picked up some charcoal to cook over the grill, and cozied up by a fire... ate blackberries on the walk up the hill for a view of the fall colors in the mountains... wish we didn't have to leave, and psyched to return!

We had a great time at Kelsey’s yurt! The location is fantastic and it had everything we needed for glamping. Kelsey’s communication was timely and overall everything was fantastic start to finish! I would definitely stay here again!

The perfect situation for those who like to camp and bike. All the best parts of camping - a fire, beautiful star-lit sky, fresh air and freedom - with added benefits of a bed, shower, and running water! We loved the yurt and location so much we wished we hadn’t booked a hotel for the following night, we would have MUCH rather stayed another night at the yurt! We were pleasantly surprised that the outdoor shower had HOT water and the location was super private. The yurt is ideally located if you have plans to bike at Kingdom Trails (which you should). We are already planning our trip back next year! Loved it.

Me and my two brothers stayed for a weekend snowmobile trip and had a great time. The house is exactly .5 miles from the trail, just a short skip up the side of the road. This place is spotless and in a beautiful location. We had a pleasant surprise of some homemade zucchini bread that went great with our morning coffee. Next time I travel to the northeast kingdom I will definitely be staying at Terry’s place.

It was really nice to visit Terry. The place was warm and welcoming. The beds are cozy. Terry were really kind with us and help us a lot with the surroundings. We also have a couple of pastry on the house !!!!

I highly recommend the Hilltop Guesthouse for anyone traveling through Vermont! It was such a fun place to spend the night. The guesthouse was very easy to find, with well-labeled signs close to a well-marked and paved road. The hosts really thought of everything: plenty of plates and pans to cook with in the kitchen, lots of channels on the TV, coffee to get you started in the morning, an ice scraper for the car—you name it, the Hilltop Guesthouse had it. The Wifi was fast and the guesthouse stayed warm all night, despite being a very generous size. The bed and couch were comfortable too! The space is super private and feels secluded, with plenty of trees, birds, and wildlife. A great value and a lovely experience, if you're looking for a Vermont Airbnb this is the one!

Lila and Aaron were outstanding hosts! Super communicative and helpful. The guest house is really cute and the twinkle lights lining the path from the parking to the house were helpful and adorable. The path was well shoveled out and easy to walk down.

Overall we had such a great stay here and would definitely return in the future.

This is a great little cabin. It does get tight with two people and sports gear (ice climbing), but a nice kitchen space, which is useful since there’s not much dining in the area. A great place for enjoying Lake Willoughby.

Cozy space for two. Affordable and within easy distance to the area's fun outdoor amenities. For those sensitive to sound, do note that the furnace hums around 35 dBA periodically.

Cute small place to spend time with your family. Easy to find and only a 10 min drive to Burke Mnt and to mnt bike trails. Great spot for weekend getaway

Janelle and Kyle’s place was a great choice for us. The location is really nice, remote up in the mountains. Super quiet and relaxing for us coming from Boston. Janelle and Kyle were great hosts; they were extremely friendly and inviting and offered us great local tips as well. We even had a few off-chance connections we noticed through talking. The place itself was cleaned and convenient. The bed was also really comfortable which was appreciated after a lot of biking. Absolutely would stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely time and had a chance to fall in love with the area. I hope we return often. Janelle and Kyle have made a wonderful get away for those who love the Vermont’s beauty.

Another great stay at Rae-Kim's cabins. This time with my family and a bunch of friends. We rented all three cabins and enjoyed a weekend of riding and camping in the Kingdom at this true gem of a place.

Wonderfully restored house. Beautiful views of farmland and the river. The kitchen is great for cooking and fully stocked. Nearby East Burke is very charming. We stayed with two little kids in April and had such a relaxing time.

The farmhouse was the perfect spot for a long weekend for three generations of family - our youngest were four months and two years old ranging up to my parents in their 70s. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was a perfect spot. Super easy access to East Burke and the mountain biking and ski trails, quiet at night. The farmhouse is amazingly outfitted, if you are a cook you will pretty much have everything you need in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and the response rate from Stéphane was excellent. He was always quick to respond before, during, and even after our stay. There is no doubt in my mind we will stay there again, maybe even next summer when we are there for mountain biking!

The host was awesome and we arranged for someone to ask if we needed help! The response is timely, and the configuration of the homestay is very complete, it is worth going again!

5 stars for this magnificent farmhouse decorated with great taste, and with all the necessary equipment. Our group of 10 people spent a superb weekend enjoying the house. The good addresses provided also allowed us to enjoy the region despite the bad weather. We hope to return!

Burke Farmhouse is beautiful and comfortable home that was perfect for our bi-coastal family to meet at for a winter holiday. The house was spacious and comfortable for our party of seven adults and two children. The kitchen was great for cooking and hanging out and we really appreciated the suggestions on things to do/see in the area. The highlights for us were a winter hike on the Mt. Pisgah and a couple days of cross country skiing at the absolutely amazing Craftbury Nordic Ski Center. Our young boys and and teenage nieces enjoyed playing in the backyard snow in the evenings while the adults prepared dinner. Such a great holiday! We hope to return for a summer visit.

This house was perfect for exploring the region. Stephane was a perfect planner as his house notes/manual help us with everything about the house. The place was perfectly clean, beds were comfortable, it was easy to find, very local to what you need. The manual had plenty of suggestions for activities/food/entertainment....

Perfect spot for us and our loved canines. We arrived late and it was easy to take a walk out back to let the dogs stretch their legs on the moved grassy trails in the back of the property. The views from the deck were amazing!! The house was sparkling clean. I will stay again.

Patricia's home is truly a dog friendly one, which can sometimes be hard to find! Our dogs really enjoyed running out in the backyard and then coming inside to warm by the fire on the dog bed that was provided. For us it was the perfect spot to enjoy the changing leaves and a relaxing weekend. :)

This place is beautiful and clean, and it has an amazing view to the lake. The lake is very beautiful itself. Sarah and Steve are great hosts and very responsive. They offered us to use their kayaks, which was wonderful. We had a blast there, and everything was amazing about our stay. We hope to come back soon.

This is a simple, comfortable house -- with a million dollar view at spectacular Lake Willoughby! The house is warm, with comfy beds sufficient for the whole family, a living room with woodstove and board games galore, a basic functional kitchen with all the pots and pans etc. for cooking up a winter batch of soup and a grill outside for summer barbecues. A public beach with great swimming (gentle slope and sandy bottom, perfect for kids) is right across the street, which is also the trailhead for Willoughby's southern shore loop trail. The deli at White Caps campground next door serves breakfast and lunch. The house makes the perfect base for a Northeast Kingdom vacation, hiking up Mount Pisgah, rock climbing, fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or snowshoeing. In addition to the state park at Willoughby, Brighton State Park at Island Pond is a short drive away, as is the NorthWoods Stewardship center (with it's great demonstration forest and an interpretive trail featuring the foundations and cellar holes of the former Gardner farm), and the Nulhegan Basin visitor's center at the Silvio Conte National Wildlife Refuge.

Sarah’s cottage has is located on an amazing spot on lake Willoughby. It’s clean, cozy and had everything we needed plus more. We will surely be back over and over again. The views for the cottage are magical!

The closet space was wonderful, the floors and bathrooms were beautiful! The home was decorated for Christmas (must be year round) and the beautiful decor was on every surface. We carefully moved several things to be able to set things down and function, especially in the bedrooms. We would happily stay here again and will recommend to friends. The location was perfect for exploring Vermont and the White Mountains!

Well worth the trip up the mountain!

Cozy above garage apartment with excellent sunrise/sunset views. Had everything we needed including cooking utensils, TV and fast Wi-Fi. Bike locker was also included. Only about a 10min drive to East Burke village.

Rene's apartment is an excellent choice for a small family or group to use for visiting the North East Kingdom. There is a great little kitchen with all the spices and utensils you could need. The mattresses were very comfortable and our kids even slept through the night which is unusual. The view from the kitchen window is classic VT-mountains and rolling hills, and there is a fire pit and even horses right next door to visit. There is a secure locking shed for bike storage as well. The location is a quick drive over the Darling Hill area for easy access to the Kingdom Trails. I highly recommend Rene's place.

The hosts we where completely awesome and we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend that anybody looking stay in the Burke area this place is it. Rene and Russ are down to earth folks and they are very accommodating in your stay. Everything that was listed on the Airbnb sited was accurate. The apartment was very clean and up to date with the accommodations. Simply put highly recommend and will return in the near future. If the rating went up to 10 this place is a definitely an 11.

I've stayed at Heather's place several times since 2017 - it's the first place I try to book when I go to the Kingdom Trails. Quiet, relaxing, and comfortable are just a few of the many reasons to stay here. This place (and Heather's hospitality) never disappoints.

A true home away from home!

We were there to snowmobile, easy access to trial head. You do have to ride the road to a field, less then a eighth of a mile. We had snow on the side of the road to ride. Heather and her place - perfect. We would stay there again.

Heather’s beautiful old farmhouse is a magical place to stay in the Northeast Kingdom with a stunning view of Burke Mountain in the front yard. The village and the mountain are just a few miles away.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The kids enjoyed seeing the barn animals and sledding in the yard. Would be a great visit any season!

Great and quiet area for nature lovers

I was one of the first guests to stay at this new place in Burke. I found it to be a really great value. It is just a few minutes north of Burke Mtn, East Burke, and Kingdom Trails. It has wonderful views of Burke Mtn. The space is, well, very spacious, occupying the entire basement area of the house, with a big living room, big bedroom, and big bathroom area. Groups with lots of ski, climbing, or other gear will really appreciate the space for sorting, drying, and organizing gear. The bedroom has a large bed (queen?) and a bunk bed. There is a Roku TV screen in there (no TV in the living room, but TV isn't why you go to the Northeast Kingdom). The kitchen area, which is essentially part of the large living room area, is a bit limited, so keep your meal prep simple. The hosts are quite friendly and communicative, while allowing you your privacy. All in all, this new offering in Burke is an excellent value and a fantastic value--I highly recommend booking it for your Northeast Kingdom adventures.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet getaway after the holidays. Donna’s place was perfect! We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and looking out at the insanely beautiful view. The updated master bathroom has a steam shower which was a pleasant surprise. Donna was a great host and provided info about the area. We had never heard of Lake Willoughby before and were totally surprised by their resemblance to Norwegian fjords (Stunning glacial lake between two mountains). We hiked Mount Pisgah, well worth it for the view!

Donna’s house is at a great location!! We enjoyed the sun set from living room couch, and played games by the fireplace!! And everyone loved the standing shower in the Master bathroom!! This is perfect spot to enjoy winter and summer activities!! The house was very clean!! Luckily sky was so clean and we were able to do star gazing from out side of the house!! This was something not planned so this was surprise for us!! Since this area is kind a remote if you are coming from city then the “Willoughby Lake Store” has almost everything if you forget any basic things to take it with you.

Everything was great! We had a lovely girls weekend. Super comfortable and cozy. Loved the fireplace and the cozy couch, comfy beds and stunning view from the front porch. Beautiful spot. We absolutely loved this place! Charming, quiet, and amazingly clean with many unexpected amenities (Day old farm fresh eggs in the frig, local maple syrup samples, outstanding gourmet whole bean coffee, and organic toiletries. If you're looking to unplug and unwind, this is the place for you. Close proximity to Burke Mtn.

Our second stay at Russell’s Cabin was just as great as the first. The space is adorable, extremely tidy, and stocked with everything you might need. Tanya is a wonderful, accommodating host, and we look forward to our next visit!

Our stay here was magical. A beautiful space, thoughtful touches, and great communication made our stay one to remember. The cabin is meticulously clean and beautiful on the inside. It was a great jumping off point for nearby adventures.

Our stay in Burke was perfect, thanks to Tanya and Stu! They communicated quickly and even gave us a heads up about the weather. Our favorite part was the hand written note, maple syrup, and board games. We also enjoyed getting to meet both of them, since this doesn't happen often with AirBnBs. Amazing work to the both of them, we can't wait to visit again!

Best cabin stay you can find via Airbnb. Perfect to disconnect from everything and enjoy spending time with friends. Cabin is protected by Annie (cutest golden retriever, she loves petting :) ).

We had booked this cabin for a weekend getaway, and that was exactly what we got.. Jake was very quick in responding and went out of way to help us. Gave us some good suggestions for restaurants around. Tim's brother in law was around, so helped us find the cabin. Would love to book it again sometime.

Great place!

Tim’s place was exactly what we expected. It’s location is a great place to get rolling in the morning right at the base of Skydive/Farm Junk / White School. The cabin is dry and cozy and there’s a nice grassy area to hang outside. Propane stove works well. This is a Great alternative to a camp ground. You’re vehicle will need some ground clearance especially loaded up with bikes and gear but we had no issues with large SUVs and a truck. Communication with Tim was real good too.

Tim's place is exactly what I was looking for--a no frills cabin close to the trails. If you want to drive all the way to the cabin, you'll definitely need four wheel drive and good clearance, but it's not a bad walk otherwise. The location is right in the trails and feels like you're in the middle of the woods, even though you're super close to East Burke

This cabin is an excellent home-base when mountain biking or hiking in the NE Kingdom. It is as pictured and a fun place to stay for those who want to get away and don't mind roughing it a bit. The cabin was well stocked with toilet paper and other necessities but you'll need to carry in your own water. Your car is a 10 minute walk away and there, you can access a hose to fill water bottles. Overall, Tim's cabin is an amazing place to go unplug.

If you are debating on staying at Sallie's or somewhere closer to town, stay at Sallies! This was a healing experience for me. I recommend bundling up and sitting on the back porch + looking at the stars. I didn't get to meet Sallie for long but it is evident how sweet and caring she is. Her pets are hilarious, welcoming and everything I needed after missing my two cats from being on the road for a few days. Thank you Sallie for sharing your special home with us!

This was a great value for a quick one night stay for me. The location is gorgeous, it was easy to find, and super easy to check in and out. The room was comfortable, I had plenty of privacy, overall it was ideal for an inexpensive and comfortable space to sleep. Cute, friendly kitties to pet made it feel like home!

This is a very authentic and unique place. Sallie is very friendly and has very interesting conversations to share her experiences and life style with the guests. She and her animal family are lovely and welcomed us warmly. Nature all around and a very good place for animal lovers.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sallie’s place. She owns a little piece of heaven and you will not be disappointed. The cottage is close to Crescent and Willoughby Lakes as well as Burke Mountain....take a swim and a bike ride the same day. I loved walking around the pond and relaxing on the porch with the cats and dogs. Sallie also provided STRONG coffee in the morning and organic apples for my trip back home. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Great location, right off the lake and vast trail system.

Nice clean house/cabin right on the shore of Island Pond, very good location for snowmobiling, trail is right across the street or you can access the trails if the pond is frozen. Plenty of room for a truck and trailer in the driveway.

Travis is a great communicator, and even with a little hiccup during our stay he did whatever he could to make it right. The house was perfect for our “snocation.” The location was perfect and the house met all our needs and was a snowmobilers paradise. We’ve already rented the place twice and I’m sure we will be back.

Michelle’s place is perfect for a visit to ride Kingdom Trails! The unit is perfect for a couple, and we had plenty of space for all of our stuff. The covered bike storage out back was a bonus, and there was a hose to wash our bikes as needed. Communication and check in was super easy. No one was staying in the rest of the house while we were there, so it was very private. We would definitely stay again!

Budget-Friendly. As advertised. Easy access. Need-to-know communication. Water is extremely sulfur-laden. I hope you don't have a phobia of Chickens

We stayed at the cabin for a friends getaway weekend and the space worked perfectly for our needs. The cabin is situated on a quiet road in a beautiful location surrounded by forest. The unique layout of the cabin lent itself well for our group and despite its open layout provided plenty of privacy for everyone. The cabin is wonderfully decorated and bright with lots of windows looking out at the surrounding forest and Burke Mountain. It was also very well stocked with all the cooking utensils you could need as well as coffee and filters for the coffee maker. The beds were super comfy and there were plenty of extra blankets available as well. All in all the cabin provided us with a perfect home base for our weekend adventures and we would absolutely stay there again in the future.

This home is cozy and comfortable with great views of Burke. It's an ideal location for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, fat biking, or any other outdoor winter activity you so desire. Nathan and Amy were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Phil was great at answering questions. He reserved camp 1 for us. AMAZING views, especially at sunset. It's a bit hidden, so easier to arrive in daylight.

Philip's property and camping sites are purely magical! The photos don't do the views any justice. They are absolutely stunning in person. Sitting by the edge of the site enjoying the calm breeze while looking out over the treetops lining the blue skies above the sunshine reflecting off the lake below with my young son was one of the most perfect moments of my life. All three sites have stunning views but we chose the third to have more privacy. There were other people camping on sites 1 and 2 and another down by one of the many structures built around the property but no one bothered anyone else and all were friendly when we passed each other. You can hear some noise from the lake below but overall, it is incredibly peaceful and we enjoyed a nice fire in the fire circle provided while gazing at the full sky of stars at night. Philip was friendly and quick to respond to our questions. He was available by phone to help us find the site when we arrived. Like others said, there is a bit of a hike to the sites. The trail to the first site takes about 3-5 minutes. To the third site took around 7-10 minutes. We don't have much experience hiking beyond large, flat trails and struggled to stay on the path when we first arrived (luckily Philip was readily available by phone and helped us get back on track!) and afterwards, while making trips to and from our car. My wife left small piles of pine cones along the trail to help us and others find the way. Hope it helps some of the other less experienced adventurers find their way to all three of the sites! We also left behind some extra firewood by the trail entrance. We can't wait to stay at this gem again! Thank you, Philip for sharing this beautiful place with others. We are so grateful.

Zen location, stellar views, the perfect Vermont haven to chill out with nature and enjoy this wonderful state! This is my 3rd time here, and definitely coming back!

10/10! Philips sites are amazing. Site 1 has incredible views, but you may encounter some people if you chose that site as many people have been going to that area for years with their families to see the sunsets - which would still totally be worth it regardless, everyone in the area is so nice anyway! We chose site 3 only because it was the most secluded. All 3 sites are a really good size, we had a 9 person tent, a grill, and a table set up with still plenty of room. There were people at site 2, but we didn’t hear them, although we became friends and ended up hanging out! The walk was about 5 minutes into the woods, which sucks when you’re weak like me, but it was doable if you pack light! (I’d still do it again no questions asked) We knew to pack light from reading previous reviews, so instead of risking forgetting something we just packed everything we would’ve for a normal camping trip, and left half of what we brought in the truck until we needed it. I wish I could attach pictures, because nothing beats the views you get at these sites. I’ve already recommended the sites to 3 people who saw pictures of mine, and they can’t wait to check it out. There’s a lake at the bottom of the hill, but if you want to drive about 15 minutes, you need to check out Lake Willoughby while you’re there. So many beautiful places all around the area. We’ll definitely be back, thanks for sharing your property with us Philip!

Great view and location. Quiet and we had a great time. Make sure to find wood for your fire before getting there as it is really expensive at the grocery store.

If you like backpacking to a private beautiful camp spot this is for you! It is primitive but Philip built a convenient fire pit and small bench. There were two other campers next to us but we did not see or hear them.

Philip is a great guy with an absolutely stunning property! Highly recommend to both locals looking for a quiet place, and to those hoping to truly experience Vermont for the first time!

This house was truly a magical experience. All the amenities and the best view! This is a perfect get away location for anyone looking to escape into the beauty of northern Vermont. The frozen lake was right past our front steps and the cabin was so cozy with its amazing fire place. Would recommend this place any time!!

The pictures DEFINITELY don’t do this place justice. It was absolutely stunning and the perfect time of year to see Shadow Lake. The fall-color reflection on the water was a beauty to behold. I stayed in the loft and my aunt downstairs. I stayed up a bit later to take some long-exposure pictures of the lake at night, which was a lot of fun. The next morning, we went to breakfast at the Busy Bee, which was a perfect start to our day in Vermont. I’d stay here again :)

Stayed for a night in early October; it was a perfect spot for an evening in the NEK. We took a nap the moment we arrived, then drove up to Parker Pie for an amazing dinner. Then back to the cabin with a couple cans of beer, put Safe House into the DVD player, and cozied up on the couch. In the morning we made coffee and walked along the shore of the lake. We’ll be back for sure!!

Lovely and quaint little spot with water views and small private beach. Great option of kayaking which we would have utilized had the weather been warmer. Everything we needed for a lovely evening and morning. A true NEK gem :) great that it was dog friendly as well!

What a terrific place! A quiet spot to escape for some down time with the family and a short drive to East Burke, fat biking on the snow and skiing at Burke. Razzle’s cabin is the kangaroo's pouch of Darling Hill. We cross-country skied, fat-biked, and guzzled hot cocoa to our heart's content- trail conditions were top notch this last week of January 2020. From Razzle's you can skip across the road, ski the whole Coronary loop, and finish on a downhill. Or you can drive three minutes to a fat-biking trail-head. Or pop into town and eat a sandwich. The cabin itself is clean, warm, and inviting. Fantastic towel selection. Thank you Sandy! -A couple of snow deprived Mainers

Great place for a weekend getaway. The space is even cuter than the pictures, is in a perfect location (we skied onto the Kingdom Trails right from the door) and has lovely views out the windows and off the back deck. Loved the natural light coming in all the windows and glass doors. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with pots, pans, and dishes to cook a lovely meal. We enjoyed the no-TV atmosphere and backgammon that was provided. The main floor bedroom was comfortable, bright, and clean -- ditto on the bathroom. The kids loft upstairs was super cute (although we didn't make use of it). Would definitely stay here again -- maybe for mountain biking on the KT this summer!

Perfect stay at Legend's Cottage. It was a bit cold inside so make sure you plan your stay accordingly (especially in October), but with the campfire outside and the propane heater inside it made such a great rustic vibe. I recommend it!

Nice cabin in the woods with a great view of the night sky! Just a few minutes outside of East Burke. Rae-Kim greeted us even though we arrived later than expected and she was very kind and hospitable. We had a lovely stay and we highly recommend her place!

Great place, easy to find, very comfortable bed and living quarters. The communal spaces are well appointed, washer and dryer is excellent after a long day of riding. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Really nice place to stay. You have all things like home... washing machine, microwave, oven, plates, everything! The hosts were helping to know what to do around the place and where to eat. Nice welcome from the host. I recommend this 100%. It was very clean and it smells good inside.

Stayed in the twin room and made use of the great kitchen facilities. Everything was very comfortable. Even the wee fans were a surprising help on a super hot weekend. Janelle and Kyle gave us a warm welcome and responded quickly to any concerns. And of course the area is simply gorgeous. We will be back!

This is a rare property with amazing hosts Denis and Peggy. Place is big and at beautiful lake. Hosts are really helpful and keeps the place neat and clean. We stayed here 2 nights and they were not enough for this amazing experience . Definitely would like to come back.

Peggy’s place was a dream! The area is beautiful and the lake is lovely. Having the canoes and big wind surfing board was super fun and the dock was a great space to enjoy the day and have a nice sunset snack. The house is fully loaded and there’s everything you need there, the kitchen is better stocked than most peoples homes! Loved the area, the pizza place was delicious, hill farmstead brewery was great, and the Puppet show was weird and not sure I would recommend but the museum there was amazing. Would definitely return to the house.

Backyard incredible!

Our stay was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and we made use of the kayaks and paddle board. There was a fire pit and even a small garden with fresh veggies! Peggy was prompt with responses and we would love to stay again.

Just book this place! It was fabulous!!! If you want to just relax by a gorgeous lake in a beautiful home, take in the scenery, and just recharge, this is the best place to do it! It is clean and comfy, open yet still has a cozy feel. Everybody around is super nice and some fun things to do as well. I give this place 10 out of 5 stars!!!

This lake-side house has a wonderful deck and dock: the deck is enormous and well-furnished with chairs, tables, and a propane grill. The sunsets are beautiful. The dock, too, is a lovely place to sit and read and from which to take a swim in the truly magnificent. crystalline waters of Parker Lake. There are several kayaks, as well. Given the number of houses surrounding the lake, it is remarkably quiet and peaceful; the haunting and sometimes comical cry of the resident loons was the only sound we heard some evenings and every night. The location of Peggy's and Dennis's home can't be beaten: on the lake and just a wee bit down the road from the fabulous Paper Pie! The house itself is comfortable and well-equipped: the kitchen contains a good stove with a griddle; a large fridge and freezer with bountiful ice; nice stoneware plates, and plenty of cabinets & workspace. The living room has a big window overlooking the lake and a large gas stove for chilly Vermont evenings. The deck off the master bedroom also overlooks the lake. And if you want to stay in touch, both internet and smartphone reception are strong. Dennis and Peggy are considerate hosts: they answered emails quickly and were friendly and welcoming (Peggy greeted us with a sweet bouquet of wildflowers). The guest book contains many good suggestions in regard to food, beer, maple syrup, hikes, etc.and some nice history of the region. Neighbors, too, are friendly. All in all, we enjoyed another terrific stay in the NEK--one of our favorite places in the USA and our time at Sunset Perch only added to our pleasure.

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend retreat at Marysu’s cottage. We enjoyed ice cream from the local store, walks along the water and the beach as well as a hike on Mount Pisgah. But, even more so, we enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch, curling up in chairs with the many books throughout the house, and exploring all the little knick knacks that make this home so unique. The price and value cannot be beat!

This has it all! A welcoming host, excellent home with everything you could need and terrific location. Marysue was a pleasure to meet and rent from, the house is warm and very comfortable and it’s a very short walk to Lake Willoughby.

This is a cozy cottage a block away from Lake Willoughby, an easy walk to the "center" of Westmore. Just up the hill is the amazing Sentinel Rock State Park. Worth the 5 minute drive for the history and the view. The cottage is filled with art, old home vibes, nooks and crannies, and comfortable places to relax. This is not a fancy place, but a place well loved and full of life. We felt completely at home. Generously simple breakfast things were provided. Lots of towels. Plenty of dishes/glasses, etc.. No AC, but lots of good fresh air ventilation, and the sound of a burbling brook right up against the house. There are a few decent places to get lunch and dinner within 5 minutes. Drive a little longer for more options.

True country living!!

The space was very cozy and wonderful to stay in. We walked down to the lake in the evenings for sunset walks and drove up to find a beautiful view on the top of the road at a small state park up there. Location was amazing and the space is well loved by Marysue.

This was our second stay at Amy’s AirB&B. We were in town visiting family and needed last minute accommodations. They went above and beyond to make sure the space was ready for us. Always impeccably clean and so welcoming. I truly feel at home in this space.

Staying at the apartment was excellent, it was clean and was one of the best-equipped Airbnbs I've stayed at. Great location for skiing and other outdoor activities, and very spacious for a few people. Highly recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal - we were sad to leave! We were just a couple, but a family of four or two couples would be very comfortable here. Super easy, beautiful space, many thoughtful touches throughout. It's also in a lovely town; plenty of great food, coffee, bagels, and dinner spots! We'll be back as soon as we get the chance.

We had a lovely stay at Amy's place on Martin Luther King weekend. The space was cozy and comfortable, with a touch of luxury (king size bed and rainfall shower head). The location was convenient for us and easy to get to and from. In particular, the house sits on pretty flat ground, so there were no snowy hills to negotiate. The covered bridge in the pictures is very close by and quite pretty. Thanks, Amy and Brett!
