Newly built/designed cabin on the 'quietside' of Mount Desert Island (in the town of Southwest Harbor). A short drive to downtown, this one bedroom with loft cabin is warm and cozy. With gas fireplace, AC unit, and all the amenities one would need to begin and end a perfect day in Acadia National Park, it is situated close to nearby hikes, water access for boating, sailing, and ocean kayaking. Southwest Harbor has many wonderful restaurants, lobster pounds, coffee shops, galleries, and shopping.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our Capt. Mayo's Top Deck quarters is the top floor apartment next to our historic 1850's captain's house. This apartment features a king sized bed, double shower, 2-sliding glass doors to a private deck overlooking Southwest Harbor and a beautiful shared garden space. It has a full size living room with a kitchenette off the side for those meals at home. Just a 4-5 minute walk to our charming village and it's delightful shops & eats!
