His recommendations of the Cove (laundrette/bar/food/carwash) and the Pearl were spot on. We wish The Cove was our local! Our room was great. Everything we needed and a nice little balcony to enjoy the evening on. The house has a lovely porch which I believe guests are welcome to use and I'm sure if we'd stayed longer we might have done. The park opposite was very nice too. We had no issues with the beautiful staircase however anyone with reduced mobility might. Can't fault it at all. Easy parking. We'd use this again if we were ever lucky enough to return to Texas!

It's clear Suzie and Devin put a lot of thought and care into creating their pod and welcoming guests. We loved the touches like beer and wine offerings, healthy snacks, filtered water, and just about every toiletry you might need. We also appreciated the privacy and feeling like we had our own little courtyard. Pro tip: there are roosters in the neighborhood so use the earplugs provided if you're not an early riser. Also, walk to Dignowity Kolaches and Estate Coffee Co. for a yummy breakfast.

Great location in Windcrest. The place was very clean and well outfitted. Far superior to staying in a hotel. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We also loved playing with their two dogs that were very friendly and gentle. I would strongly recommend staying here to anyone spending time in San Antonio.

Their home is ideally located, probably about a 10-15 min drive to the river walk and 10 to the airport. The neighborhood is quiet and the pool house was charming and nicely decorated. It is small, but big enough for all the things you need for a relaxing weekend. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and to my relief the kitchen was fully equipped so I was able to make a yummy breakfast; you'll also find small snacks and there is a life saving Keurig. Best part of my stay was getting to know them - you don't run into such open and accommodating people. I felt very well taken care of from beginning to end. I highly recommend this place.

It was only a 20-25 minute trip during morning/evening rush hour. A much faster commute than that during off times. It is a cozy, small place that was perfect for me to come home to after conference sessions. It was clean with a comfy queen sized bed. The kitchen is small as indicated in the photos but it was adequate enough to prepare simple meals with a hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to WalMart, grocery store, gas station, fast food, etc. I felt safe being alone in their home. If traveling solo to San Antonio in the future, I'd certainly stay there again.

The house had fast Wifi, guests were allowed to use all the kitchen equipment to cook up their own food, bathroom was also fully equipped with toiletries (and yes, towels are super soft and fluffy as mentioned!). Sofia did an amazing job communicating with us all the information we needed, especially since we had to drop off our bags before check-in time. In terms of location, there is a bus that brings you downtown, but it will take almost an hour to get there, so either drive (20 minutes) or get an Uber (about $12-14) if you want to save yourself some time. That being said, it is a great house, super cozy, both myself and my partner felt extremely at home living here. Would highly recommend this to anyone who's planning to visit San Antonio, or even to anyone who wants to stay here for a longer term!

Kevin was a gracious host, and he provided clear information on the in and outs of the space. My mother, her small dog, and I enjoyed having the entire house to ourselves during our stay. The spacious backyard was a great convenience for my mother's visit with her pooch. We loved using the historical home's original stove to make ourselves breakfast. This didn't feel like a stay in a hotel, but more like being at our own home. The immediate surrounding neighborhood is residential, but is a quick drive to attractive neighboring sites like The McNay and the Pearl district. The house was immaculately clean and well-kept. Kevin has modernized the house for a comfortable experience and has kept a few of the house's original features to a charming affect. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Inspite of all the other things going on that day, getting situated in the studio was probably easier than getting checked into a hotel. I arrived in San Antonio earlier than expected and Charlotte had no problem accommodating an early check in request even with guests checking out the same day. The studio is stocked with toiletries so if your forget to bring one, Charlotte has you covered. The futon is comfortable and once you add the foam mattress, it feels like a cozy bed. Finally I really liked the decor of the studio. It kind of has a personality all it's own. Would definitely stay there again!

She greeted us even after our long journey from home and went above and beyond to make sure everything went well even when we said it was fine. David and Carole are excellent hosts to guests staying at Casa Bella. The beautifully renovated carriage house is clean, provides plenty of privacy for guests, and is easily accessible. The location was fantastic. The weather was beautiful during our stay, so we took advantage of the opportunity to walk downtown and to the Pearl Brewing Company. The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking meals. Our only regret was that we ran out of time to grill outside. We would definitely recommend Casa Bella to guests staying in SA in the future!

Hearing the jazz music as we walked through the door immediately made us feel comfortable, we mostly kept the music on except when we went out and we're sleeping! Their cats are adorable as well. Weren't able to check out their restaurant (next time!!), but they have some great recommendations in their guest book. We went to Sancho's in the area for tacos and it was delicious. Will definitely recommend their place to anyone coming to San Antonio. Thanks again both, it was simply wonderful!

The small details made our stay really great. Communication was also a breeze. Will be making this my first option when I need a place in San Antonio. Thank you for a great stay!

The garden area is beautiful to look at and calming to be in. We had a lot of fun finding different minerals and stones in the neat wall that surrounds the court yard and wishing well. Thanks for being wonderful hosts!

The house is really close to downtown as well as other San Antonio attractions and it has easy assess to the highway. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Art!

I stayed at his home for almost a week and I truly enjoyed my stay and the comfort of the location of the home. I was here for a conference and the location as not too far from the downtown area. I would stay here again if I needed to return to San Antonio.

Gaylynn2017-05-12T00:00:00ZWONDERFUL!!, My new go to place in San Antonio, I was greeted by both Covita and Christopher with great big warm smiles made me feel so welcome. The Garden Studio was so perfect for my Fiancee and myself. My mom even spent the night once , she slept on the pull out futon/couch she said it was very comfortable. Although it's a studio , it was very spacious for my fiancee and myself and visitors . The bed was queen size and firm and really comfortable. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook including a hot plate which was great because after use, just tuck it away. It has a big full size refrigerator a table for two to dine , but we loved the yard and dined outside in their serene beautiful backyard. We were also greeted by a resident cat, I named "Little Miss Blossom " or just Blossom for Blossom Park she was cuddly and super sweet. Oh gosh did I mention the restroom omg it's beautiful and the shower felt like a massage. Also had a great big closet and lots of natural light throughout the studio. It's about 20 min into downtown ( 15 min. Without traffic) and 10 min or less to airport. I can go on and on. First time in an airbnb the rest have to live up to this one. Covita and Christopher were always available if I needed them and always responded promptly. Like I said I can go and on. Thank you Covita and Christopher and Blossom for a wonderful stay making me feel at home.

I adored the decor and the bed was very comfortable. The house was within 15 minutes of everywhere we were planning to go. The house and the neighborhood was nice and quite and honestly would be great for a family with kids. The house came with a great selection of movies and board games. They also have the map that allows people to add little pins of where they came from. I thought that was an awesome idea!
