A lovely quiet place to recharge body and soul

Our home is in the heart of 'Poldark Country' in West Cornwall close to the cliffs and moors. The area is renowned for the views, the light and the open space. The accommodation is a self contained flat attached to our house with it's own separate entrance. We are in a small village with a pub and Meadery less than 2 minutes walk away. Other attractions nearby are Geevor Tin Mine and St Just. St Ives, with it's artistic buzz and beaches, and busy Penzance are an easy drive or bus ride away.

This old miners cottage has been colourfully transformed by the artist owner. Traditional granite walls keep the rooms cool in summer and on chilly evenings you can cosy up around the log burner. There is a good size garden with mature trees, a BBQ and outdoor dining area. It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. The house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The Angel Shepherds Hut is off grid (no electricity) and is situated in the 2 acre grounds of Tremorran’s Quiet Garden. Insulated with sheep’s wool, the hut is made of wood. A comfortable double bed invites you inside: there is a pull-up table under the window. It is a short walk across the lawn to a shower room with towels, robes and toiletries supplied. A simple healthy breakfast is provided e.g. fresh fruits, yoghurt and granola. A cooked breakfast is available for an extra £10 pp.

The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. We are a 2 minute walk to the village shops and pub. We have fibre cable to the premises so very fast Wi-Fi!

Bosorne Shepherds hut, is located at the top of the beautiful National Trust owned Cot valley and five minutes from the Southwest coastal path, it is also a 10/15 minute walk from the lovely town of St Just with it's many shops, cafes and pubs. The hut sits in its own fully enclosed private garden but is bordered with fields which usually house the farms small flock of sheep, we also have llamas and rheas . The hut is well equipped with an ensuite shower room with proper flushing toilet.

You’ll love our place because of the location and views. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers and young families. It’s fantastic for surfing, sea swimming in the cove, coastal hiking and golf. There's a golf course close by to us that has an indoor swimming pool and restaurant.

Pines at Carminowe Farm, a peaceful rural retreat

Cozy flat located at Carminowe Farm, just outside the village of Pendeen, slightly off the beaten track with no close neighbours, making it extremely peaceful and a haven for wildlife. It's a short walk to the shop, pubs and local facilities. The coast path is approximately a mile and a half away. The flat has ample parking and its own courtyard seating area. The hosts live in the main part of the house and have a border collie called Bill and a cat.
