  • Kyle was very prompt with any concerns or questions that I had. The place was very nicely decorated and clean. I will be renting again on my next adventure in VT!

  • Kyle was a great host. He was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. He was quick to reply, and he supplied us with everything we needed! It was clean and very nicely furnished.

    Olivia2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, comfortable Airbnb . We loved the common space, lots of room and comfy sofas in a nice big open space with a big TV set up with several streaming options, and adjacent to a nice dining area. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. And, the host (Kyle) was very quick to respond.

    Richard2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kyle was on top of it

    Michael2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • You can't beat the value of this place. It is two airbnb's in one building and the noise does carry, but if you read the owner's description, he is very clear about this. We got to spread out in a very large space. Kyle was very quick with answering my questions and guided me to some great places to hike. My daughter was there to study and got a lot done while curled up on the comfortable couch. There is wifi and tv, a full kitchen and we were warm. The beds were comfy and the place was warm. We had a great time. Thank you, Kyle. I definitely want to use one of your places again.

  • Kyle is an exceptional host. The house had everything we needed during our stay and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. The house was clean and the amenities demonstrated his attention to detail. My wife was extremely impressed with everything and we will definitely be back. Thank you Kyle for a great stay and we’ll definitely be back..

  • Kyle is an amazing host. My wife and I were absolutely blown away by the house. His attention to details was evident and he really took the time to make sure we were comfortable. He even had my favorite seasoning in the cabinet. He's what I call a Super Duper Host and I would recommend anyone visiting Vermont for the first time to stay at this house. We are dreading leaving but are excited at the chance to come back to visit again. Kyle, thanks for making this a memorable experience...

  • Very nice flat, super clean, The place was really nice and it should be nice too in summer, do not hesitate ! See you another day maybe, Flo and Thim

    Flo2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as advertised! Kyle is a wonderful host. All of the recommendations were so helpful, and the place is gorgeous. I stayed at a MUCH more expensive Airbnb the night before staying at Kyle’s place and it did not have even half of the amenities that Kyles home did. The coffee station and cabinet full of spices were so helpful for someone trying to pack light! The TV and wifi were easy to use and I had no issue finding the place!

    Michele2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great condo and responsive host. It was my first time visiting Vermont and Kyle was able to provide a helpful list of recommendations. Convenient location if you are looking to visit Dartmouth and King Flour Bakery. We would definitely stay here again.

    Christopher2020-03-10T00:00:00Z

  • *5 Stars* Jade and Joe were the perfect hosts! Beautifully restored historical country home located on a huge piece of farm land, where there was so much to do. Downtown Bradford was a stone-throw away and full of places to eat and shop. Also a great scenic drive to Loon Mountain. What I loved most were the scenic views of the fields and woods from all sides of the house, including a fantastic view of Mt. Washington from the back porch. I also had the pleasure of meeting Joe and his family's awesome dog Max; Joe's an absolute genuine guy who not only made us feel at home, but did not hesitate to offer his assistance with anything to make stay more enjoyable. My family was sad to leave after only a couple of days, which is why we definitely plan on booking here again for a longer stay. Thank you again Jade and Joe, your home is an absolute Gem! P.S. - My dog had SO much fun tapping into his wild side, exploring, and playing with the neighbor's extremely friendly pups. He was absolutely exhausted.

    Sean2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Jade's place was great. We had plenty of room to relax in the house with plenty to do to keep us busy and not bored. We had a great time exploring outside in the fields and sledding in the snow. It felt like we were home and didn't have to worry about anything.

    Jamie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing house would come back, it's super clean and comfortable has everything you need

    Karen2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This house was exactly what we hoped for! The beautiful location, large kitchen and living room were perfect for us. Nicely decorated and very comfortable mattress! We can’t wait to go back!

    Jeannine2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • You won’t regret staying here, definitely in the top three locations we have stayed in. The house is perfect for a bigger group, and the space outside is breathtaking.

    Elizabeth2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very nice, clean and quaint. Also a nice quiet location. Would highly recommend.

    Paul2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely pristine spot in the Vermont countryside. This trip was our second stay at the location, and once again, the hosts and location do not disappoint. Thank you again for the wonderful stay, and we will certainly be back!

    Carson2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t say enough positive things about this place! The view is breathtaking, the land & the house offer so much to do. It is all the seclusion you want with all the amenities but town isn’t too far away ether. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer, but we will be back!

    Richard2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We thank Brooke for her wonderful welcome. Brooke answered our questions very well and within a reasonable time. Plan to do the grocery shopping before, as the amenities are rather far away. The accommodation is very beautiful and the kitchen is very complete. We keep a very good memory, thank you again!

Three room treehouse with huge windows in a reading room area set at the end of a field looking towards Mt Moosilauke. Walking trail to the river is outside your door. Like camping but better! Surrounded by forest and fields. w/ your own Firepit. We are a 10 min drive from many trailheads, two access points to the AT, Rumney Rocks (trails and world famous rock climbing). Note: You cannot drive to the treehouse. There is a cart at the parking area about a 5 minute walk from treehouse.
Have a White Mountains farm experience and a tree house stay all at once. Currier Brook farm is a 250+ yr old, 22 acre working farm located along the Baker River. The tree house is located along the forest line in the back pasture. It has three small rooms plus a sleeping nook. One of the rooms has large picture windows for walls and makes for a comfortable space to read while enjoying the outdoors inside. The tree house is equipped with a camping propane stove, cast iron skillets, utensils, plates, bowls, drinking vessels and potable water containers. **We provide an ample supply of potable water at the treehouse. There is an indoor composting toilet and a solar shower bag. Fire ring and charcoal grill are also at the tree house area. Enjoy walking, running or mountain biking along the extensive old railroad trail that cuts through the farm and goes from Montreal to Central NH. Like hiking or climbing? We are 10 mins from Rumney Rocks, Mt Moosilauke, and sections of the AT. Planning to hike the AT and need a ride to the farm? We may be able to provide transport with advance notice. Animals that currently reside on the farm include dogs, cats, and Icelandic Sheep. The tree house is far enough away from the workings of the farm and the farm house that you can expect privacy unless you initiate a visit to the farm area. You will need to walk in all of your belongings unless we are available to use the lawn tractor and trailer to take it back. It is a 5 minute walk from where you will park. NO ELECTRICITY. Bring your headlamps, lanterns, etc ***NEW*** Propane heater buddy available (safe to use inside). Propane provided. If you decide to use there will be a $10 charge for propane.
In the White Mountains with access to the Baker River, Mt Mooselauke, a short drive to Woodstock and Lincoln, close by to outdoor adventures of all kinds.
  • Just book it already! Better than camping out in a tent with the same vibe. Absolutely stunning property close to all the attractions in the area. It’s a unique place to stay and a trip you’ll remember for sure.

  • Stayed with My Mom and Doggo for a quick trip. It was a lovely experience even though it was raining a bit when we arrived. The host helped answer our questions when we arrived too!

  • This was the first airbnb I’ve stayed at and it was a beautiful, new experience. At first I was hesitant when I saw it only because I’ve never been without electricity or stayed anywhere like this but it grew on me within only an hour or two. It’s very intimate especially if you’re here with someone and I keep thinking about it and wanting to go back. It’s definitely not for everyone. It gets very cold at night and you have to do pretty much everything yourself from washing dishes to cooking, etc. It was definitely a new experience for us but I quickly learned that I am that type of person! Its quite a bit of a walk; the hardest part was taking our stuff back and forth but the location and everything was beautiful. Again its definitely not for everyone but if you’re into that stuff or want to try to be or get away it can be quite a life-changing experience. I learned a lot about myself and my partner even though we were only there a couple days. I brought my dog and he was ridiculously in love with it. It made me have a different perspective of everything when we left. I was actually quite sad to go back home. We will definitely, without a doubt, go back. Hopefully, fingers crossed, next year.

  • Such a cool place to stay! The treehouse was amazing. We had a great time and definitely recommend staying here. The air mattress was pretty cozy. Make sure to bring blankets because it did get chilly in the treehouse in the mornings. The atmosphere was great, the string lights were so pretty on the trees. There were a lot of nice touches from the owner like candles, books, bug spray, toilet paper and a game board.

Check out our reviews and *other rooms* too! It's also the perfect springboard for foliage, hiking, day trips and more! OR you may just want to stay and enjoy our huge backyard with firepit, sledding, a swing and VIEWS. Extra bedding with floor pad available; our twin floor mattress may be available to reserve instead.
This is our home... we love it and according to most we keep it reasonably tidy. At the same time, we lead rich lives and try not to stress if things get backed up now and then. Rest assured that our listing rooms and linens are always cleaned before the arrival of each new guest. Same goes for the guest bathroom upstairs-- however, it is a shared space and may at any time reflect some use! If we're around, please let us know if it needs attention; if not, there are cleaning supplies in the hall closet just outside the bathroom :) Our kitchen is not the main focus of the listing; if you choose to use it, please note that it is awaiting renovation. You are still welcome to arrive as early as 1 p.m. and use the facilities.
Beautiful tree-lined street with plenty of space between houses, kind neighbors and very little traffic. Walking distance to town with all amenities including restaurants (most close by 8 or 9 p.m.), library, churches, shops and basic groceries. Large supermarket, drug store and other churches and stores within 2 miles, including the famous Farm-Way outdoor outfitters, gift shop and more. There are also several parks in Bradford: Elizabeth’s Park... Huge playground that families come from miles around to enjoy. Denny Park... Gazebo and green space in the middle of downtown with views of the White Mountains. Boch Park... Also downtown on Main Street, overlooks the dam on the Waits River and its beautiful waterfall!
  • Don, Jennifer, and their daughter are all lovely, nice people. Check-in was simple and easy. We were only there for less than 24 hours but it was a great place to crash for the night, the house was quiet and it was easy to get a good night’s sleep! We would’ve loved to stay longer. Thank you to the hosts! There was a dog staying in the room next to us, so it’s super cool that they allow people to travel along with their beloved pets :)

  • What a great spot. Our family of 3 stayed for 9 days, and couldn’t have been more comfortable. Cookware, cutlery, whatever you might need to cook at home was there. Nice big fridge and freezer, hot showers with good pressure, fresh towels, great bedding. BTW the bed is super comfortable, as is the couch. We were plenty warm, slept and ate well, and enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful spot. Amy watched out for us with the winter weather, and plowed whenever needed so we could get out easily. You won’t regret staying here :) Great experience.

  • Amy’s home was a perfect weekend getaway in Vermont. It had everything you need and allowed for a more off the grid experience, which was exactly what we were looking for! Amy even came by on the morning of our last day to say we could stay a little longer than checkout. Very kind of her! I would definitely recommend it to couples or a small group of friends who want to disconnect for a weekend and enjoy the surroundings. Certainly hope to stay there again!

    Matt2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Amy was an incredible host. Leading up to my trip she offered to stock up the fridge and told me about restaurants that people tend to like when they visit. I also saw a ton of moose which was really cool cause I’ve never seen one before.

    Aaron2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed one night in Amy's cozy house in the beautiful hills of Vermont. The house itself is very well equipped -- including a fully-furnished kitchen -- and Amy is kind enough to put some food in the fridge beforehand for our breakfast! The living room is spacious, yet cozy, and very comfortable. Our one issue was that Amy doesn't check her messages in the afternoon or evenings (which, to be fair, she does warn about). Nothing serious happened, but we had a minor issue and tried to contact her when we arrived at around 4pm but we got no response until the next morning, which was too late. However, she was very kind in her response and felt very bad about what had happened (which again was not very serious). Apart from this, we loved our stay and hope to make it back some day!

  • It was such a great peaceful stay. The cottage was super warm and homey. Norwich and Hanover are only a short drive away. Highly recommend the Tavern in Lyme. Amy went above and beyond to ensure to stock the kitchen perfectly. Amy and her dog Goose were very welcoming. It is the perfect place to stay when visiting Vermont and New Hampshire.

  • Amanda's place was amazing for a quick weekend getaway! She left a great page of local restaurants nearby which made deciding on dinner very easy. It was very clean and cozy. Amanda was very nice and responded quickly when we had trouble. We're already looking forward to our next trip!

    Justin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda's apartment is lovely-comfortable, clean and with every amenity you could require. I spent a weekend with my college age children so we could try skating at Morey Lake but there is so much more to do in the area. My daughter fell in love with Vermont! Amanda's place is easy to find (her directions are perfect). I hope to return to Vermont and Amanda's place soon.

  • The cloud 9 suit is a beautiful place to stay. I was there with my girlfriend and my best friend with his girlfriend. They took the bedroom with the fireplace and we took the sofa bed to see the view. Watching the horizon change colors as the sun sets is incredible, and waking up to the mountains reassured me that the cloud 9 suit is the place to stay when in Vermont. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels for all 4 of us to be cozy at night when the temperature fell and the kitchen had everything we needed and more ! We did notice however, that there were a few DVD's to the left of the TV but no DVD player. But this was not an issue as we did not sit down long enough to watch television. Thanks again for the hospitality and all the info prior to our arrival. I hope to visit Vermont again and be able to stay at the Cloud 9 suit once more.

  • Very warm and welcoming space. Plenty of towels, romantic wall “fireplace” in bedroom, nice kitchen, soft sheets, beautiful views, great hikes from the front door. • The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of this property...expect to be wowed! The house overlooks the river and is peaceful and private. The deck and porch bring you into all the surrounding nature. Inside, it is immaculate and you will want for nothing in the living space. Marjorie has thought of everything. Fairlee is a little town but close to Hanover and great restaurants...perfect spot if you like your personal space. Marjorie is a highly responsive and thoughtful host!

  • Such a beautiful place! It was better than expected. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Such gracious hosts. Thank you!!

    Chase2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is just lovely and very private. It is close to the highway which was a concern before I got there as I am quite sensitive to noise. The wonderfully pristine environment, however, over-ruled my concern for the noise and it was easily blocked out. No one in over 30 reviews I read even mentioned the highway sounds which speaks volumes as far as it not being a concern. May I also mention my family has dubbed me to be like the “princess and the pea”. So take that into consideration. I barely had a chance to meet Marjorie as she was very busy especially with a new litter of kittens. I will return to this little piece of heaven and I hope I will get a chance to meet Marjorie and David again and not just in passing. And oh do I look forward to her delicious coffee cake!!

    Katherine2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Oh....my.....goodness! This cottage was so perfect! My husband and I came to Fairlee for a wedding and this getaway cottage was exactly what we dreamed of. It was so cozy and comfortable and warm and welcoming. Marjorie was so nice in all our messages and she even left us her homemade coffee cake in the fridge to greet us when we arrived. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom and we highly recommend this airbnb to anybody looking for the perfect getaway in beautiful Vermont. Cheers!

    Carmen2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage is perfection. It's immaculate, tastefully decorated, has a beautiful view of the Connecticut River from the deck and from inside, and a spacious screened porch, which was appreciated on a rainy morning. Marjorie turned the lights on for our late arrival and left us orange juice and coffee cake for breakfast. There are fantastic restaurants within ten miles and the countryside is breathtaking. This is a very lovely place to stay.

  • Some of the best hospitality available on Airbnb! They even let us use their kayak and minivan to head out to a nearby lake one of the mornings. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with some extremely friendly locals, this is the spot for you. Thanks Don and Jennifer!

    Kevin2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Don and Jen are fantastic hosts. I stayed at their place for a month as a medical student rotating at Dartmouth. During this busy month with erratic hours, I always felt like Don and Jen's place was a safe place for me to rest. Their kitchen was well equipped, they had a laundry machine, good water pressure in the shower, funny friends, and a whole host of other things I can't quite think of right now. The internet worked great which was important as someone traveling for business. If you ever have to stay for an extended duration somewhere in the Upper Valley, I urge you to please consider this location.

They told us about local events, activities and places of interest. The house was cozy, clean and we loved the privacy. The neighborhood/community was friendly and welcoming as well. Randall and Amy are fantastic communicators and provided us with a wonderful get a way. We are looking forward to another visit asap!

  • This is a cozy place with a great view. We even had a fridge full of snacks and bagels for breakfast waiting for us.

    Meridith2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Amy’s place is a gorgeous guest house perched on top of a large hill that provides for excellent views ! The space is very stylish and looks as if a professionally decorated. Reg let me in the unit when I arrived and is a very friendly. The hill was a bit challenging in mud season but I had all wheel drive and studded snow tires . But if one wants the views makes perfect sense the road is a bit of a steep climb . I would guess the xc skiing from the guest house is excellent . The hot tub was perfect, super clean ! a short walk but made it even more enjoyable to get in the hot water . The whole property is immaculate and you can see the thoughtful effort that’s gone into the whole estate . So picturesque could be a location for a movie . A+

    Andrew2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of our best Airbnb experiences! The Airbnb was super clean and very lovely. The entire place was beautifully decorated and had many thoughtful touches. Bagels were provided for breakfast as well as a full fridge of juices, snacks, coffee and more! We used the hot tub ever day that looked out over the mountain and their farm. The dogs were super sweet and the entire weekend was perfect! Thank you for your great hospitality you, can’t wait to come back

    Tess2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous space! Fabulous hosts! Not enough stars available to rate it all the stars I'd give.

    Faith2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and Reg are amazing hosts with an amazing property! The views are better than any picture. The amenities are so nice and everything was so clean! Having coffee in the morning looking out at the mountains is something I will certainly miss! Can't wait to go back!

    Michelle2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amy’s house was absolutely beautiful! The hot tub was the best part of our whole trip! The house is beautiful and over looks a beautiful view! Amy and Reg were both so accommodating to everything! Only thing was the house was located on top of a huge hill that my little Hyundai Elantra had a hard time getting up, so just be mindful of that if you have a small car. Other than that the space itself was amazing and I would love to go back

    Jen2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable spot to enjoy a quite weekend away.

    Tim2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a sweet place to stay in the area, you can't go wrong with picking Amy's place. It is adorable, has everything you need, and is stunningly clean. We had a lovely, very quiet and peaceful weekend, and I would love to stay here again. Kitchen snacks and beverages were much appreciated, as were all of the small touches throughout. Walking in the first night to the lit candles was particularly welcoming. Communication was easy and efficient too. As noted in the description, there's not a full kitchen, but we planned accordingly and with the small fridge, microwave, and sink, it was just fine. Lots of games (we played Scrabble!) and TV options too (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.).

  • You’re in the wilderness! It’s very off the grid and a great place for some true relaxation. The backyard is perfect for your dog to stretch their legs! The house boast lovely rustic decor with beautiful windows that face the mountains. The house had everything you need for cooking (including spices!) and had a great oven/stove top. I truly can’t speak enough on how wonderful our stay was.

  • You can expect a wonderful relaxing time in an amazingly beautiful home. Jen has everything thought out thoroughly for your stay. Very clean and easy to communicate with. • This was our second stay here at this beautiful little (but big) cabin. So peaceful and quiet. If you’re looking to get out and relax in the woods this property has great little trails that surround the property for peaceful nature walks. You may not have cell service but to have high speed internet in the middle of nowhere is a pleasant surprise and most welcome. There’s a even a hot tub that my girlfriend always looks forward to. We will be back for a third time sometime this summer and fall.

    Eric2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely LOVED the Bow House. I cannot believe we got the entire place to ourselves for the price we paid, we were blown away. They also included so many additional amenities, we basically only had to bring food and clothes. The house is beautiful, the views are great, and the hot tub was marvelous. We basically were just pretending we lived there for a night, what a dream! Thank you so much for sharing your great space with us. We hope to be back!

    Brittany2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful getaway in Vermont — an adorable bow house, nestled into the woods with great views. If you’re looking for a great place to get into the wilderness for a bit, (or find some snow on the ground, in our case!) this is it!

  • The Bow house is the perfect Vermont retreat. Rustic with all the comforts of home. Jen and Colin have everything you’ll need for your stay. The house is cozy with beautiful views. Our dogs loved curling up by the woods stove. We might make this a yearly stay of ours, that’s how much we loved it!

Welcome to historic Freedom Ring Farm, built in 1771 and located directly on the border of New Hampshire and Vermont on the Connecticut River. Located just 15 minutes to Dartmouth and just across from Fairlee, VT and the Lake Morey resort. My vacation house is situated away from the road on a 15 acre farm on gorgeous rolling land that gently makes its way to the river. The farm even includes an old airplane hangar!
My guesthouse was completely remodeled to the studs in late 2018 and features a private entrance, living room (with sofa bed), fully-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, master bedroom, bathroom and of course a decorative mouse hole! The unit has brand new windows, high-density insulation, heaters, and everything you need to have a cozy stay. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, and even a washer/dryer combo unit. It comes stocked with flatware, dishes, and pots/pans. Enjoy the serenity and breathtaking beauty of the farm, river, and Upper Valley. Diners, Grocery Stores, Coffee Stands, Antiques and restaurants are just 5-15 minutes away. Note: My property manager and cleaner’s name is April and may be your primary contact through the experience.
Orford is a rural community on the Connecticut River in western New Hampshire. Home to approximately 1200 people, Orford is known for its historic “ridge” homes, as well as family farms and small businesses. Much of Orford is forested, providing for a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, boating, snowshoeing and hunting. Chartered in 1761, Orford has a history of close ties with its neighboring towns on the Vermont side of the river. In 1998, Orford and the Vermont towns of Fairlee, West Fairlee and Vershire formed the pre K-12 Rivendell Interstate School District. Mount Cube, Sunday Mountain and Cottonstone Mountain, Indian Pond and Upper and Lower Baker ponds are distinctive features of the Orford landscape. The Appalachian Trail passes over the summit of Mt. Cube, and the cross-Rivendell trail connects Orford to neighboring Vermont towns.
  • This was the most beautiful, quaint, GORGEOUS farmhouse apartment in the world. It was nothing short of magical for a girls weekend away! Will absolutely be coming back.

    Lani2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Cute, charming, cozy, stylish, welcoming. We arrived a bit late due to weather (February snowstorm, classic VT!) and April was wonderful. Loved our stay!

  • Great spot in a very cute and cozy guest house. The space is well appointed, very comfy bed and great rain shower. Great communication, would stay again!

  • Beautiful place to stay. Cozy and cute, with lots of attention to detail in the rooms, which I loved. Hosts are wonderful and great with communication and able to help with any questions. A great stay and that I would recommend and go to again.

  • What a gem! A great space that felt very comfortable with a nice layout and thoughtful decor. Everything is wonderfully updated but still has a cute farmhouse feel. Very clean and well kept. It was -6 degrees outside on one of the nights we stayed and it was nice and warm inside. Would highly recommend!

    Betsey2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures don't do the beauty of this place any justice. The interior design is absolutely stunning. In terms of comfort: The water pressure and heat in the shower are amazing, the bed is comfortable, the tiny space heats up quickly in the winter, and the fridge is plenty big for holding whatever food you would need. Additionally, this location is excellent - right on Rt. 10 and not far from the interstate and a few good restaurants in Fairlee, VT. To top it off, you can't beat the price. Sam was great with communication and April was lovely when we met her on the property. We hope to be back in the future for another stay.

    Jill2020-02-05T00:00:00Z

Base Camp is located at the gateway to your White Mountain National Forest adventures! Quiet, comfortable and convenient to hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and area attractions. Only 30 minutes to either Lincoln, North Woodstock or Plymouth. You can spend your evenings by the outdoor fire pit during warmer months, or playing games, cards or even watching movies after a day out in the winter.
The host home shares the property with the camp, but is a separate building. Only 15 minutes to Mt Moosilauke- the first 4,000 footer on the AT. Our town is surrounded by the White Mountains on the western edge. We have 3 friendly dogs and a cat that you may see. The cat may even invite himself in to visit if you allow.
Within 30 minutes: Breweries, Polar Caves, Clark's Trading Post, Whales Tale Water Park, Loon Mountain, Franconia Notch, Plymouth State University. Also, Rumney Race track, the AT, and an actual Redstone Rocket. The immediate location of the camp is rural in a town of around 900. Camp is actually just about on the town line of an equally sized town.
  • Staying at Base Camp was so relaxing, and the nature was unparalleled. We will always remember our time at Base Camp with smiles :D

  • This is a lovely cabin in the woods set next to the own's main house. You have total privacy by having your own place which includes a full bathroom, kitchen, high top table with three chairs, a futon couch in the living with a Smart TV (has a DVD player with DVDs and other streaming services) along with books, puzzles and games to use. There is one bedroom with one bed which was perfect for just the two of us and our dog (yes this place is dog-friendly which was great!). Tracy provided outstanding hospitality during our stay and we will keep this place in mind if we end up going north again.

You’ll love this rustic spot nestled in the beautiful hills of Vermont, minutes away from two rivers, and lovely walks with valley views all around you. It's also just 10-15 minutes from Dartmouth College with it's libraries, fine music, theater, dance and films, and 15-25 from 3 local hospitals. Our place is good for couples (as short term guests), solo adventurers, business travelers, and traveling nurses.
Within walking distance to a small classic New England town, our house backs up onto woods that border a state forest full of trails for walking & skiing. We are about 15 minutes away from the Dartmouth Ski-way and many local hiking trails and rivers and lakes to swim in. If you don't like to cook there are many good restaurants and pubs nearby, we'd be happy to recommend, in addition to a small local breakfast and lunch spot open all year round and an organic farm with a cafe open during the warmer months.
Our place is perfect if you like living in a rural setting and all that it has to offer but want (or need) to be close to Dartmouth College, local hospitals (DHMC, WRJ VA, and Alice Peck Day), and other business and shopping related necessities.
  • Kerstin’s home is a nice little retreat in a small town of Vermont. She’s incredibly generous with her home and was perfect host. I hope you are able to stay with Kerstin and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds the blue room. I will be sure to stay here again soon!

    Garrett2020-02-13T00:00:00Z

    Kevin2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kerstin is such a warm and welcoming person, it was a pleasure to stay at her place. She had some great tips for exploring Vermont and was always easy to reach for any questions I had. The Blue Room is very spacious, has a beautiful view and a very soft, comfortable bed. The whole house is really cozy, and Kerstin's three adorable cats make it even more homely. I had a wonderful stay and can't thank Kerstin enough for her kindness and hospitality.

    Stephanie2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable, comfortable, you share the house, a lifestyle and its culture. Very nice experience. I felt at home since I entered. I hope to return, God willing.

    Luis2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, warm, friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and airy with beautiful view of garden, mountain and pear tree. Kerstin provided helpful directions for exploring the area, too, including what to avoid during hunting season. Thetford and surrounding area are perfect for a quiet, relaxing retreat. I would stay here again.

  • Charming cabin in a beautiful location. Warm and cozy interior with nice touches and a great bed and bathroom. Keri was a great host and made it a super easy process!

    Peter2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • what a magical stay ! such a cozy cottage with a lovely view. We had a fantastic stay with the fur kids at Keri's Cottage. The communication was great and the recommendations. We also would love to go during the summer and explore more of the area. The late night camp fire as a family was wonderful and they started it for us, so when we got back it was already warm and cooking. The bed was comfortable and floors heated. We can not wait to come nack.

Just 10 miles off the Interstate, but you'll feel like you're way back in the country. Enjoy long view eastward across the Connecticut River Valley to New Hampshire mountains.
Dawnside is a hillside home on a dirt road, tucked into the woods with a view of local hills and distant mountains and plenty of space to unwind. Built over many years, it started out as an 800 sf, off-the-grid home. Today the now 1,700 sf house has electricity and WiFi, and can easily accommodate four or five, although it's cozy for one or two as well. There's a queen bed in the large (16x20) cathedral-ceilinged master bedroom, a full bed in one small (10x10) bedroom, and a twin bed in another small (10x10) bedroom. With its central location between the Green Mountains of Vermont and the White Mountains of New Hampshire, you can use Dawnside as a base camp for day trips to go hiking, kayaking, fishing, and exploring the area. Or stay right here and take a walk on the property's woods roads and listen to the wind in the trees. Relax on the deck and watch the sunrise with your tea or coffee, or enjoy your favorite evening drink as you watch the colors shift and change on the mountains and valleys as the sun sets behind you. Lie on your back at night and enjoy the bright stars - there's virtually no light pollution up here on the hill. Light a campfire, toast marshmallows, make s'mores, and watch the fireflies. Rainy day? Curl up with a book in the cozy library nook. The TV, along with a selection of DVD's, is temporarily located in the nook as the living room is being renovate d. There's no cable service but there is WiFi so you can hook up a laptop or Fire Stick and stream video. The kitchen is small but well equipped: refrigerator with ice maker, 5-burner electric range, microwave, dishwasher, and large single-bowl sink. Small appliances include coffee maker, coffee grinder, electric kettle, blender, hand mixer, and 4-slice toaster, and there's a French press as well. There are plenty of plates, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, and cookbooks. Plastic children's plates, bowls, cups, and silverware are also provided. A selection of coffees, teas, condiments, and spices are provided. A gas grill is located on the back deck for outdoor cooking. There is a full bathroom with tub/shower upstairs. A small 3/4 bathroom (shower, toilet, sink), with a 30" door, is off the laundry room. The laundry room has a front loading washer and dryer and fragrance-free laundry detergent is provided. A 50 gallon water heater provides plenty of hot water. Cell service is spotty at best and seems to change with the wind, weather, and number of birds flying overhead. Verizon works better than other carriers, although you may need to stand in the parking area to catch a signal. There is a landline for your use.
The house is located 1.25 miles (2.0 km) "off the blacktop," halfway up a 1/2 mile (0.8 km) long, quiet dead-end road. There are neighbors but they can't be seen from the house. Sometimes it is so quiet here that you can hear kids playing on the next ridge over... 1/4 mile (0.4 km) away. Quiet country back roads are great for walking, running, and bicycling on. The last 1/4 mile on your way back is a bit steep. Northeast Slopes, where you can ski "the way it used to be," is less than 10 minutes away. It's totally volunteer-run, nature-dependent for snow, and features up to 12 trails, 360' of vertical height, 2 rope tows, and a T-bar - all for a $15 day pass. There's no night skiing but there is reasonably priced food at the snack bar. You can snowboard, too. Bring your own skis and/or boards. If you're going to use the tows bring leather work gloves (or buy them at the snack bar). Burke Mountain and the Dartmouth Skiway are about an hour away. There are two general stores within 10 minutes. The Roots School, which teaches traditional skills, is just 6 miles/12 minutes away. The Mountain School in Vershire is 13 miles/25 minutes. The town of Bradford, with several restaurants, a Kinney Drugs pharmacy, a large Hannaford's supermarket, the awesome Farmway feed/clothing/shoes & boots/furniture store, the Red Kite Candy kitchen and store, and the Bear Ridge dirt race track, is 20 minutes away. The city of Barre ("Bear-ee"), home to famous granite quarries you can visit, is half an hour out. Vermont's capital, Montpelier, is 45 minutes away, as is the up-and-coming White River Jct, Vermont and the home of Dartmouth College: Hanover, New Hampshire. Waterbury, VT, home of Ben & Jerry's, is an hour away and Burlington, VT is an hour and 15 minute drive. A drive-in movie theater is about twenty minutes away. Camp chairs and outdoor blankets are provided so you can grab them and go watch a movie under the stars. In mid-September the Tunbridge World's Fair is just 35 minutes away. Several area artisans participate in May and October Open Studio Weekends and invite you to meet them and see their work. White Mountains attractions, including Lost River Gorge and Polar Caves, are about an hour away. The house is located midway between the Appalachian Trail and Vermont's Long Trail with access to each taking an hour or less, and there are several hiking trails in the area including the 3.5 mile Wright's Mountain Trail just 15 minutes away. Fishing, boating, and swimming are available at many places within a half hour or so radius and Vermont Fish & Game offers free boat launch access at many locations (Note: some lakes and ponds do not allow motorboats). Sporting licenses are available at the East Corinth General Store or online.
  • Eric’s home was everything we hoped for and more. The house was very clean. Eric labeled everything in the house and left notes and instructions through out the house. The home is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The house was very homely and relaxing. Eric made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. Communication was great from start to finish, our two dogs loved it there too, so much land to run around. We will definitely visit again soon.

    Sharon2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Erich’s place is beautiful, it's like a dream house. You will have everything that you need and more! He is a kind person and always ready to help. One of the coziest places where we have stayed.

    Leonardo Salmaso2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Erich has thought of everything. His house manual, local activities and restaurant information was very helpful. The house and views are beautiful. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend stay!

  • We enjoyed our stay at Dawnside. It was a nice, relaxing winter getaway. Erich went above and beyond our expectations. He was quick with communication, and provided little surprises around the house that we loved! The views are wonderful. The place is clean. We highly suggest staying at Dawnside. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks Erich!

    Shannon2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing house with so many amenities it’s not even funny! If you think you forgot something at home don’t worry about it Erich has you covered! Don’t second guess this place, Just book it!

    Tim2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying here and I think we will continue to do it every year going forward! Erich is a great host, with an immaculate home. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

    Matt2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful and restful place to spend a weekend. We were delighted by all the thoughtful touches throughout Dawnside—and my husband let me sleep through one of the most beautiful sunrises they’ve ever seen!

    Meghan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Winter at Erich's place is the epitome of hygge (google it). The house itself is tremendously well thought out - we marveled at all the details that went into building such a wonderful place all weekend, and I'm sure we could have kept marveling for weeks longer. I could list all the great things about this place (the beautiful surroundings, the quiet neighborhood, the comfortable furniture, all the little household items available to you, etc.) but to short cut to the point - you definitely won't be disappointed staying here. We will definitely be going out of our way to stay here again.

An old camp brought back to life. This sweet spot is a new renovation built to blend modern with rustic by a craftsman with a love of wood. You will see seven different kinds of wood on show here. See if you can name them all during your stay. From the loft is a wide view of the special kitchen with cabinets made from Tap Hole Maple and a spectacular Birdseye Maple counter top.
    * Easy access from the highway and you will not need 4x4 to get here. * The loft is accessed by a hefty ladder with railings but is steep. Use of the loft is at your own risk. * While there is full plumbing, the water is spring fed, so please be mindful of usage.
In the woods but close to the town of Bradford with several good restaurants and grocery shopping. Bradford is also home to the well known Farmway store where you can shop for just about anything. Close the Lake Morey in Fairlee for summer or winter activites, hiking in the White mountains, mountain biking, ATV use, and snowmobile access to the VAST trail system. Or, hike my land out the back door to the top of the mountain with beautiful views of Mt. Moosilauke NH. 2 mi to Bear Ridge Speedway (May - Oct) 2.9 mi to Bradford Golf Course 3.2 mi to Farmway 9 mi to Lake Morey 9.7 mi to Lake Fairlee 9.5 mi to Northeast Slopes for skiing at a $15 price tag! 26 mi to King Arthur Flour 26 mi to Montshire Museum of Science 26 mi to Mt Moosilauke, NH 36 mi to Lincoln, NH
  • This was a really special place and we had a great time here. Steven is an amazing host, he met us at arrival even though we were late, gave us a tour of this cabin and its background. It`s probably one of the most beautifully made places I`ve seen, really special. Everything is hand made and has a history. Its a nice area to go for walks in and our daugther had a great time exploring the little things outside in the forest by the cabin. I would reccomend this place and we`re definitely coming back.

    Johanne2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place for a getaway! The camp that Steven has built is absolutely beautiful, very spacious, and has everything you need to feel in nature, with the comforts of the indoors! There is a beautiful hiking trail right behind the camp that leads to a picturesque summit! Steven and Melissa were very friendly and helpful when we met them at the camp. We will definitely be staying here again!

    Barbara2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is beautiful with a woodworker's touch. Steve did a wonderful job renovating the cabin. He was extremely helpful and forthcoming with local spots to visit and hiking in the area. Please be someone who will appreciate the hard work he put into this place and its clean and cozy atmosphere when booking your stay. We will absolutely be back!

Zoe’s Place The quintessential Vermont experience. Situated on Waits River in Bradford Vermont, this charming 2 bdr/1 bath chalet sits right on the river. Fully furnished and well-appointed with two fireplaces, a gorgeous sun porch looking out at the river, central, WIFI – fire pit outside, barbecue. Kitchen has everything you need. There is one queen size bed, one double and room to sleep on the couch in Sunroom or the sectional in the living room. The space can be divided up into two separate spaces each with a living area, bedroom, fireplace & Wifi. Perfect for couples or someone wanting quiet time to read while others want to watch a movie. You can count on decompressing as you sit riverside and watch the array of different birds/ducks traveling down the stream. Zoe’s Place is an enchanted property that won’t disappoint. Close to Lake Morey Golf Club, Lake Fairlee, 25 minutes from Dartmouth College and White River Jct. Great restaurants nearby. Lots of golfing, hiking trails, skiing right near by and so much more! Longer stays can be arranged for a discount if you are in the area traveling or temporary at the hospital or university. Contact me. If you stay longer than 10 days we may need to come in and clean during your visit. That will be determined on a case by case basis. You have access to a kayak (your own risk), 2 fly-fishing poles, a regular fresh water pole, lures and a cooler. We ask that you do not use the inside fireplaces during summer months to conserve on petro and wood. The backyard fire pit can be used during the summer months and fall. The fireplaces are available in the colder months. We have now procured proper insurance to allow for the use of the inside fireplaces. As far as cell phone service goes it really depends on who your provider is. Verizon has good reception at the Chalet AT&T does not. We do have entire house WiFi and a house phone if need be. I have coffee and tea available at the Chalet and a community food pantry and fridge (one can never be sure what’s in there). However, no other food is provided. Visit us on instagram #the_red_chalet
Bradford Vermont is right out of the Andy Griffin show. People are kind, friendly and helpful. When I am there I do not even lock the doors.
  • Great place to stay ❤❤❤❤

  • Zoe’s place was everything we could’ve hoped for and more! The pictures are exactly what you’ll find- this cabin offers everything you might need! The bed was super comfy, the wood stove is extremely cozy, and the view from the river room is beautiful. Check in/out was very visitor friendly and Daneene was very quick to respond with any questions we had and very helpfully with her responses. My favorite part had to be the views from the river room over morning coffee and home cooked breakfast. Highly recommend this place to everyone, we most definitely will be back!

    Alicia2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for the second week in a row for a work event we had in town. Again, I wish I could have stayed longer, but this time I did have a chance to enjoy the view of the river as I sat in the sitting room next to the fireplace. Everything was great!

    Oryx2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Deneene's Place is a wonderful, quaint little place to stay. I'd love to come back in the summertime to stay on the river!

    Luke2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely as advertised and a great place to stay. My only regret is that we are there for work and don't have time to explore the surroundings, which are beautiful.

    Oryx2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you could want out of a weekend cabin in the woods! Thoughtfully appointed with amenities and supplies. Easy to find, clean, cozy and comfy! The river running behind the house is a delight and the fireplace was perfect for late nights and games with friends.

    Ashley2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • PERFECT weekend retreat. Deneene is a responsive host and her place has everything needed for a getaway. We skated the oval on Lake Morey both days of our stay, and being able to come back to the chalet and relax by a fire was priceless. Tranquil view of the river, super comfy accommodations, great layout. Flexible check in/check out was appreciated too. Definitely will be back.

    Maria2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I loved this stay so much. I think it’s the only place I’ve ever stayed where I really felt sad leaving. It is so cozy and inviting and just has a very genuinely homey feeling to it that is lacking in most Airbnbs. I think I watched the snow fall while cozied up on the couch beside the fire and sipped on coffee for an entire 4 days. The bed was so comfortable I slept wonderfully. Waking up to fresh snow on on the grounds really makes your New England winter dreams come true. The view of the river with fresh snow coating the trees was just beautiful. Highly recommend this place.

A 6 min. walk to Lake Fairlee, 23 mins. to Dartmouth or Dartmouth Ski-way, our Airbnb includes a 1000 square ft room in a lovely garden setting. This separate house built onto ours has a private entrance and offers hardwood floors, radiant heat in winter, large windows, a private kitchen, private bath, garden views and 2 spacious semi-private sleeping areas - one queen bed, one single bed, plus 2 queen futons in shared spaces. We are cleaning re CDC & Airbnb guidelines to keep everyone safe.
Our place was designed for music gatherings and over night guests with social ambiance in mind. But the large room also serves as a quiet environment for just one or two people to relax, read, meditate, watch movies or work. There are stairs leading up to the loft with three alcoves for sleeping areas. We provide folding Chinese screens for additional privacy. Each alcove has a window view. We are only minutes away from Dartmouth and the many cultural gems and natural beauties in the area. We welcome people from all backgrounds.
We live on a small residential street in the village of Post Mills one of five tiny villages in the rural town of Thetford, in Central Eastern VT. Post Mills is populated by full time residents and also has a vibrant summer community. The four camps around our 450 acre lake have been in operation since 1906 leaving much of the shoreline still wooded. Scenic bike rides, rivers and hiking trails on public lands are minutes away. We recommend the Post Mills Airport for balloon rides and our town beach, Treasure Island, if you're looking for a community atmosphere on the lake. From June to mid-October treat yourself to the produce and organic cheeses at Cross Road Farm located 1/3 of a mile from our place. You'll find art galleries, theater, summer concerts, delightful restaurants, shopping, church suppers, antiquing and more beautiful natural settings within easy reach of our village.! Ask us!
  • If you want to stay in an inspiring space, built by a luthier and Yoga teacher than check this place out, walking distance to a lake, etc etc our first Airbnb stay. Exceeded our expectations.

  • We had such a great, relaxing getaway here. The pictures really don't do the space justice, we were blown away by how wide open yet cozy the entire place was. The ping pong table, puzzles, and record player were excellent touches that were a part of our routine every day but really there's so much to do here for anyone looking for a quiet retreat from the world, those are just a few examples. Or, if you want to go out and about, Pippa and George provide a whole binder full of curated local experiences they recommend! Very thoughtful. We miss our time here already!

  • We had a wonderful stay at Pippa and George's place! Pippa and George were extremely kind hosts and we enjoyed talking with them. We also really enjoyed seeing where George's beautiful guitars are made. The space was great with so many lovely plants! Very close to the Lake Morey ice skating trail, places to ski, and many great trails for hiking! Highly recommend staying here!

A quiet location in the country, we’re located 25 minutes from Hanover NH, Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, as well as Vermont Law School and many summer camps such as the Aloha Camps, Camps Farnsworth, Billings and Lochearn. Located right around the corner is the Pema Osel Do-ngak Choling Buddhist retreat. There are two local hiking trails: The Cross-Rivendell and Appalachian Trails; two large lakes: Lake Fairlee and Lake Morey.
This house was the original one-room schoolhouse converted into a residence.
This neighborhood is very rural. One would want to appreciate being away from it all.

This insulated , and heated tiny cabin is great for hikers, skiers, bikers or any adventurer! Take a break from your travels and enjoy my cabin for two. Parking is close by, no need hauling your gear through the woods to find seclusion. Like the idea of a tiny house? Keeping with a minimalist theme, there is no bathroom, or electricity but you will be just feet away from a crystal clear river to soak in and I provide a clean port-o-let nearby. A minimalist's dream for two!
The cabin is tiny, just 6'x8'. It sits overlooking the Baker River. A fire pit awaits with Adirondack chairs. There is also a bike stand and tools to use for bicycle enthusiast. Please bring your own sleeping pads and covers as no bedding is provided yet. I strongly suggest a insulated air mattress. It can only sleep four very friendly adults. Please bring a tent, for guest .
Warren is a quiet town with just one store, but many trails. Mount Mooselauke is really close!
  • Great winter spot for solitude. Excellent fire pit and effective space heater. Nice windows that look out onto the river. I thought the sleeping boards were creative, and it was overall a nice spot to sleep, read, or just hang out. Good proximity to trailheads.

    Matthew2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The place was a little paradise Eric was caring to make my stay a pleasant one. Given the weather conditions -16 ° at night I had my small backup heater which allowed me to fall asleep listening to the sound of the river. Not having provided the appropriate shoes, he treated me with his snow shoes. I recommend a night or two for all passing hikers you can only appreciate

    Marine2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was a perfect place to crash for the night before a day of hiking. The heater kept the place toasty even in the cold. I’d say 2 people would probably be the max for the space sleeping wise (maybe 3 in a pinch!) The view out over the river was lovely. I didn’t get to use the fire pit but it was picture perfect. Overall it’s an affordable spot with a lovely location for those who don’t mind things a bit rustic!

    Juliana2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cabin located right on a river. Heater kept me warm on a cold night with no problems. Great place for a quick nights sleep before a day of hiking.

    Greg2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy little cabin, perfect place to spend the night.

    Joe2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Eric’s place. Eric too was helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area.

    Miralema2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The listing was accurate and what we expected. It was 15 F out when we stayed and the space heater kept the three of us plenty warm. The space is just big enough for 3 people, I think 4 might be stretching it a little bit. The riverside location and fire pit are wonderful and add ambiance. Eric was very friendly and even left us some cardboard and wood to help us get a fire going and he shoveled us out a bit in the morning after a light snow fall. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Piermont Place is located near the Southwestern edge of the White Mountain National Forest. The 1BR cabin is about 200 feet from a gently sloping sandy beach of Lake Armington, and just 100 feet from your private dock. A canoe, kayak and stand up paddleboard are provided. It is a 1 mile walk or drive to the trailhead for Piermont Mountain, and a short drive to many other hikes including Mts. Moosilauke and Cube. The lake has bass, trout, catfish, pickerel and perch.
  • Great place to get away for a couple's weekend!

  • Quiet, pretty lake and beautiful views. Pick up some firewood on the way for a cozy firepit.

  • Incredible spot, unbeatable for autumn foliage

    Max2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect size for two. And, the added amenity of electric heat was very nice on a cool September evening.

    Dorrie2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Piermont Place #1. The place is as described. Thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed and nothing more—no clutter. Good kitchen utensils including knife, colander, coffee pot, toaster. Lots of outlets and strong WiFi. Note that you have to bring your stuff up a steepish flight of steps. The lake is lovely and warm and a delight. We’ll be back.

The Stagecoach Stop Hostel, located on the second floor of the historic (ca.1830) Church-Orr House, offers accommodations for up to six people in three refurbished bedrooms. The Church-Orr House was once a stagecoach stop on a Boston to Montreal stage run and once again offers lodging for travelers. It’s very handy place to stay if you are visiting Vershire, and a good alternative to a motel for people visiting adjoining towns such as Chelsea, West Fairlee, Thetford, or Fairlee.
Total of 4 rooms: 3 rooms with 3 single beds, and 1 room with a double bed. Beds with bed linens Towels Upstairs shower, toilet, sink; downstairs toilet and sink An upstairs lounge with comfortable seating, local phone, and a large collection of books (take one, leave one!). Access to kitchen downstairs (stove+ range, fridge, sink, coffeepot, microwave.) No pets No smoking No alcohol Access to the library and Made-In-Vershire Shop downstairs during their open hours. (Arrangements can generally be made to get into the store, which sells local crafts and foods.) Thé Church-Orr House is a community center and library that hosts events. Meeting times are listed on the white board in the kitchen. We are a non profit and procédés from rentals go towards these events.
The Stage Coach Stop Hostel is located within 1.5 hours from Killington, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, and Stowe for alpine skiing. .5 hours to King Arthur Flour. 5 minutes from Pema Osel Buddhist Center. Lake Morey Resort is one half hour from the hostel and hosts the longest skating trail in the country at 4 miles long, ice fishing, and pond hockey is also popular at the lake. Lake Fairlee is also close by and Treasure Island is a great stop to cool off in the summer. Snow mobile access and The Cross Rivendell Trail are close by for hiking, snowshoeing, or cross county skiing. Snow Shoes are available for rentals. Visit us in autumn and check out the Sheep and Wool Festival or the Worlds Fair in near by Tunbridge.
  • We really liked the place. It was confortable and cosy! We also used the kitchen, we had everything we need!

    Emily2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Loved it.

    Deb2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy place with a homey feel for a hostel. Lots of space, too. Lovely historic feel to the place.

    Deb2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is full of wonderful memories from my days volunteering at the local summer camp years ago, and it still just feels like home. Vershire is a little town with lots of hidden secrets and magic and really friendly, creative and caring people. Shirley was so welcoming and offered to keep me updated on local events so I can come back and introduce my friends to Vershire too!

    Jason2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great kitchen downstairs, library, books upstairs, 4 bedrooms, living room upstairs. Old fashion, 1800s building. Had fun, finally met Shirley, and I’ve donated things to the hostel.

My cozy log cabin tucked away in the woods will let you appreciate the beauty of the White Mountains in comfort, peace, and quiet. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind, explore the wilderness, or anything in between.
My cabin is on 3 private, wooded acres with a brook, situated on a quiet country road. In summer, enjoy the brookside fire pit, screened-in porch, kayaking or swimming in nearby Ellsworth Pond, mountain biking, or dozens of beautiful hikes. In winter, put on your cross-country skis or snowshoes and explore the nearby trails, or do some downhill skiing / snowboarding at one of the 3 area ski resorts, all within a 30 minute drive. The cabin has a spacious, open layout with cathedral ceilings. There's a large kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook meals, and you're welcome to anything in the guest fridge near the dining area which I keep stocked with breakfast items, soft drinks, wines, and local beer. The spacious living room has a wood stove. (Or you can just use the good old thermostat.) Your bedroom has rustic beam ceilings, a comfy queen bed, and a down comforter. The bathroom is shared with myself and potentially 1–2 other guests.
The White Mountains offer year-round activities: hiking, kayaking, boating, swimming, and fishing in summer; skiing, snowboarding, etc. in winter. Oh, and don't forget fall foliage season—it's magnificent.
  • Best place to stay in you want to visit the White Mountains! The place is a gorgeous chalet in the middle of nature. She has a beautiful balcony that looks onto a river with an amazing background sound of the streaming water. Victoria is a wonderful host and very helpful. I definitely recommend her!

    Mansour2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Victoria's place. Her chalet is lovely, cozy, homey, and in a strategical area. Beds are very comfortable and the house is fully equipped :) We can't recommend it enough! We hope to be back!

    Giulia2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Victoria is a warm and very communicative hostess. We spent a very interesting evening discussing various topics. His house is warm of atmosphere. It is located in a forest with bright autumn colors near a pond. Everything is very well organized. For us it was a discovery. If we can, we'll come back.

    Colette2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home in a stunning location. Close to things but a secluded location. I felt so comfortable in the cabin. It was so clean and very cozy. So many cute touches.

    Michelle2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is the place. While it is a shared space it was unobtrusive and warm inviting. Places to park lead up the stairs. Carry your luggage to the house. Rooms are clustered on one end. The living room windows are your window to the forest. The back patio is comfortable. There is a fire pit in the yard with wood. Victoria greets you as if you're an old friend. She provides coffee, creamer, some drinks and fridge space for leftovers. The rooms are cozy with individual thermostats. The hall and bathroom have motion activated nightlights. The kitchen is fully stocked. Whatever you do, choose to go to the pond! It's beautiful and worth it. About a mile down the road. We loved Victoria's and highly recommend. We will stay again.

    Kris2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Victoria's place is the place to go when you are in the white mountain area. Victoria is the kind of host you would like to meet, easy to get along with and very helpful.

Enjoy a relaxing evening sitting on the barn deck or at the near by fire pit looking out over the farm field or looking up to the top of Carr Mountain. As the evening wears on saunter into your private room, the art room, in the barn. The art room is a 30x 25 room taking up nearly one half of the 17th century restored barn. In your studio you will find a kitchenette space with a toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker as well as essential kitchen items. Please note there is no running water in the barn. There is a water pump for drinking and cooking and a marine toilet in the bathroom area.
Bring your materials and your talent, we provide the atmosphere for creativity. This space is great for writing that book you've been trying to finish, painting, doing fiber art or whatever creative activity brings you joy. Our farm house was built in 1765. The barn is nearly as old. In the mid 70s after the last Currier (yes, related to Currier and Ives) passed, the house and barn were restored while still being period appropriate. The studio is in the south end of the barn. The middle and north end are still used for the farm needs.
We are in a valley of the mountains where you can truly relax away from it all, there is very little if any cell phone service. We have wifi at the farm so you can be in communication but it is something to note.
  • Perfect glamping vibe for our night before a big hike. Not a luxurious space, but a great alternative to camping.

    Jerrod2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful place!

    Karen2019-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and Carol were great hosts! I ended up staying in both the barn and the house and both were great. Their house is beautiful and the location is great for skiing at Loon and climbing at Rumney. I would definitely stay here again!

    Madison2018-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I went here for a weekend to enjoy the Fall foliage, we had an amazing stay! The stars were stunning and we hiked Rattlesnake trail in the morning, which was a goregous view. 10/10 would go back!

    Joy2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • When you stay in Amy's artist studio barn house you can expect a very accurate description of what you will find when you arrive. The space is very charming. I would recommend Amy's place to anyone looking to stay in the White Mtns. Thanks!

    Kristine2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was Airbnb at its best—great communication, exactly as described, easy check in, and super friendly hosts. Amy gave us so many great recommendations. We took them all and weren’t disappointed. The two kids loved interacting with the animals, too. Carol shared some stories (and awesome artifacts) from her amazing life. We all left inspired and refreshed. It was a very short stay, but I’d go back in a heartbeat.

    Althea2018-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience and price. Everything you need is there: stove top, microwave, refrigerator, pans, coffee pot. Loved the friendly sheep! We wish we had booked it for longer.

    Christian2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Super simple but very nice accommodations. The marine toilet takes some getting used to if you've never used one before, but it's a cinch. I believe there are shower options available (saw a cool outdoor set-up in the back portion of the property), but I never asked about it as I was hitting the local swimming holes each day (lots of lakes & rivers around!). Beautiful setting and a great fire pit. Amy is so chill. :) She even let us use her charcoal grill and donated some fire wood. But my favorite part of the experience was probably Abigail, the friendly sheep - so much fun to hang out with! Loved staying at Amy's place and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place near the White Mountains.

My place is close to wonderful swimming holes, hiking, biking skiing. Trout fishing is on the property abundantly. (5 minutes). This rustic and relaxing camping area is only 20 minutes to Lincoln/ Woodstock attractions, and is an excellent base camp for adventures. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). Lean-to sleep 2 comfortably, there is space for more tents around it. Please note that while booking.
Come sleep next to the babbling Baker River. My rustic retreat is the perfect spot for those looking for a true White Mountains experience. Please bring your own sleeping bag, and pad. I supply a space to rest your head. It will accommodate a full size air mattress. A shared outlet is available near the Porta-john 150' away for air pumps.
Look left, look right: no neighbors in sight.
  • Very nice location, close to the parking spot and has wifi located nearby if needed to contact someone because there was no phone service in the surrounding area.

    Jordan2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Screened in Lean-to with a hammock or place to put 2 sleeping bags. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and cozy fire pit! You’re able to buy firewood there, but don’t forget to pack a fire starting kit! 10/10 would stay here again.

    Alana2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • First time doing Airbnb. I really enjoyed my time on Eric’s land. There is enough space for privacy and enough quiet to simply listen to the river and blue jays. Very colorful banks in fall. Opportunity to see wildlife like turkey or deer. The host was kind and really cares! Hiking trails not far, Kancamagus 30 mins away. 10/10 would return to try his studio or treehouse.

    Kat2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Did not disappoint. It’s such a beautiful area to spend a relaxing few days. The best part was waking up to the sound of river dancing around. Eric was very nice and gracious host and made sure that we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to book my next trip up there!

    Matthew2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome camping on the river! Beautiful spot and great amenities.

    Matt2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This riverside hut is a really neat place to spend your evenings. Absolutely gorgeous in the fall time! The space was swept clean and the citronella candles were appreciated. Small torches light up the pathway at night. I enjoyed my night spent close to nature!

    Nina2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Was a nice spot not to much privacy and close to the road. We cleaned up a bit when we arrived and made ourselves at home. We wish we had gotten firewood prior arrival we didn't find anything out on roadside and nothing of substance was at the camping spot for sale. We had a nice time and enjoyed the location.

    Penny2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • It was great! Eric was very nice showed me around the property and let me check out the new tree house!
