Welcome to Old Saybrook! Our apartment sits over our garage and is attached to our primary residence. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Main Street, the beach, local parks, and other town attractions. We have recently made many upgrades to the property and we're ready for guests! We look forward to sharing our home with you!
The apartment is situated above our garage and has a private entry off the driveway. Guests will need to climb a short flight of stairs to reach the living area. Adjacent to the living room is a dining area and kitchen. The bedroom is accessible at the end of the kitchen and has plenty of closet space for guests. The bathroom is accessible ONLY through the bedroom, so any guests staying in the living room will need to pass through the bedroom to reach the bathroom. The shower includes a large overhead skylight and massaging shower head. There is also a stacked washer and dryer inside the bathroom for guest use.
Old Saybrook is adorable and we are in the heart of it! Walk to main street, Harvey's Beach, Trask Park, or many other nearby locations! Guests will be provided with a beach pass for the nearby town beaches.
  • Would highly recommend! We used the apartment as a home base in town while we were visiting family. It was great to have a parking space off the road. Everything in or near town was less than a ten minute drive. Check in was a breeze and the apartment is beautifully kept. We really enjoyed the cozy space and found it perfect for two adults. We really enjoyed the tea that was provided and some of the other amenities. It was nice to have space/drawers to unpack a little. We will definitely plan on trying to stay here again when we return to town for future visits!

  • This was our second stay at Meghan’s cottage. Meghan is a great and thoughtful host. On our first visit, we accidentally left something there. This visit, it was prominently waiting for us. Thank you again for that Meghan. In our previsit messages I mentioned our interest in using the fireplace, and it was nicely set up for easy use for us. The cottage is really well located down a super quiet street. Cleaned to a very high standard, very comfortable, and a simply wonderful view out the showcase window in the living room. This is a lovely place to stay.

    Aaron2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The ad for Meghan’s rental set the bar high but the home exceeded my expectations. The view, the spacious property and the layout/amenities of the cozy cottage as well as the warm hospitality were just wonderful.

    Tom2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is absolutely charming, it was a perfect setup for our family with a small baby. The location on the water is great and it is easy to get to various spots around town. We would definitely come back again.

  • What a lovely place to stay in Old Saybrook. Location can not be beat. Comfortable and lovely small home, perfect for the three of us. Meghan was a very good communicator and answered any questions promptly. We used the gas grill to cook seafood outside and took nice rides on the kayaks which was a treat. Very peaceful.

What more could you hope for, not much in our opinion, we loved everything about the place and though you'll need a car to get to the surrounding areas, this is a fantastic location from which to explore the Connecticut shore. We would love to unplug and get away here again soon.

Visit a quaint New England Neighborhood in the beautiful shoreline town of Old Saybrook, Connecticut.
A clean, cozy cape in a quiet neighborhood with off-street parking. The shared space includes the living room and dining room, equipped with a small refrigerator. I spend most of my time in my kitchen and sunroom. You have your choice of renting a bedroom with one queen bed or a bedroom with two twin beds. The bathroom is private and located in the hallway, just outside the bedroom. If you happen to be traveling with family or friends you have the option of renting both bedrooms for an additional fee. In this case the bathroom would be shared with your traveling companions.
My home is less than a ten minute walk from Main Street, where you’ll find the Katherine Hepburn Cultural Art Center, restaurants, coffee shops, retail stores, including bakeries. Harveys Beach is less than a ten minute drive away.

  • We had a great stay at the Captain Clarke Homestead for a small organizational ‘fall retreat.’ The home was a great amount of space with good amenities in a quiet neighborhood. Thank you for a great stay!

  • This place was the perfect location and setting for our group. We came here on an offsite, and we had a wonderful experience. The setting was perfect for cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and getting to know each other. Would highly recommend for groups.

    Alexandra2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great space for a large group. We were in the area for a wedding. Well appointed for most any kind of stay! Great communication from Yvette along with local tips.

    Kevin2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • I loved this house. Yvette was available and responsive without being intrusive. The house has delightful art work and lots of nooks and crannies inside and out for people in a larger group to find for some solitude and privacy. There's even a room upstairs where guests can literally leave their mark. It was a great base from which our family of 10 could take day trips to Mystic, Newport and Block Island when we weren't just hanging out there. I highly recommend it. If you're skittish about noises at night, keep in mind that it's an old house, so floors creak and some of the window A/C units are noisy. There's plenty of off-street parking & the house is huge. I'd definitely stay there again!

  • Classic New England. Relaxing and beautiful backyard!

    Kimberly2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in this little piece of history as my son was getting married in Old Saybrook. Yvette allowed us an early check in to plan a rehearsal dinner. The party was fantastic and everyone loved the house and felt like they were going through a museum admiring all the art and unique touches. Our only hitch was that an air conditioner wasn't working and I contacted the host to see if she could drop off a fan. Within a few hours a brand new air conditioner had been installed! I would highly recommend this house especially if you can appreciate the age and character of a 1795 home.

    Barbara2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t hesitate to rent this cute and cozy home for your next gathering! We had 14 people together and it never felt crowded. The house was spotless and fresh linens greeted us in the bedrooms. It’s a quick ride to the beach with plenty of towels fir everyone. We even had access to beach chairs. Yvette was very communicative and check in was a breeze!

  • Absolutely amazing. The photos don't show the size of the place. The main area is open concept, but it has a good sized living room with a very comfy couch, a full study area, a full kitchen, a dining area and an extra little nook or two. The bed in the separate bedroom is very comfotable. And finally, the bathroom... so fancy and modern. Out of all the airbnb's we have stayed in this is by far the fanciest and most elaborate. The host is sweet, helpful and extremely responsive. We are definitey planning on coming back.

  • We loved staying at David’s place! Very clean, cozy yet spacious and seems very newly renovated. Centrally located yet off the main road so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for our quick getaway from the city, would definitely stay here again.

Escape the nearby beach with a quiet stay in the woods. Private room with private shared bath in an older single-family home on two acres of land. It has its quirks (like strawberry wallpaper) and it's not über-modern, but it's unique and we love it! Close to I-95, Route 9, and trains along the CT Shoreline. Near venues: Water's Edge (3 mi) ◦ Saybrook Point (8 mi) ◦ Madison Beach (13 mi) ◦ The Guest House (9.5 mi) ◦ Mohegan Sun (31 mi) ◦ Foxwoods (38 mi) More than two? We have another bedroom!
Bright corner room on the second floor with a rug-covered hardwood floor, work desk, multi-port surge protectors with USB, window unit air conditioner (June-September), laundry hamper, lamp with USB and power ports, Amazon Echo Dot, and full-size bed with microplush blanket, down alternative comforter, microfiber sheets (flannel sheets in colder months), plush and firm bamboo pillows. Bedroom door has a privacy lock that only locks from the inside while the occupant is in the room. Two person maximum occupancy. We're also still working on the walls in the room (lots of holes from shelves, etc. that were once screwed or nailed in), so bear with us! Private shared bath (shower/tub combination, although we do not recommend using the bathtub) on the second floor just across the hallway with amenities such as a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soaps, toothpaste, cotton balls and swabs, face razors, iron, and ironing board. Note that the bathroom is only shared with other Airbnb guests. Also the door will stick due to the humidity... just push firmly to close! Ground Floor: The den features a 46" HDTV connected to digital cable with HBO, Showtime, Starz, The Movie Channel, etc., as well as Amazon Fire TV Cube with Alexa Voice Remote including several popular streaming services, and Blu-ray player. The house also has a dining room, formal living room, sunroom, and outdoor patio with grill (summer months). Full kitchen on the first floor with oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, crêpe/pancake griddle, waffle maker, and all the necessary cooking implements. There is also a Google Nest Hub connected to Pandora Radio and SiriusXM from where you can control the lights and more. Coffee bar in the dining room featuring a Keurig, coffee grinder, and a wide selection of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, oatmeal, and breakfast biscuits. The dining room also has Google Nest Mini that is connected to Pandora Radio and SiriusXM. We are also pleased to offer snacks for sale, including cold soda, chips, ice cream, sweets, and more. Payments are accepted via Venmo, PayPal, and cash. If the weather's nice, enjoy the outdoor patio! Once a month - from May to September - the yard is sprayed for mosquitoes and other pests. Top-loading washer (without agitator) and dryer available for your use along with an additional toilet. Washing machine use is limited to a maximum of one load per day as the house is on a private well. There is one parking spot available for this room. The location of your parking spot is noted in your arrival information message sent through the Airbnb inbox. No keys to lose or to return! Our home provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door either with your smartphone using a unique virtual key or with a personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay. Instructions on how to use the smart lock is noted in your arrival information message sent through the Airbnb inbox. The personal entry code is e-mailed to you upon confirmation of your booking. There is a Ring Video Doorbell placed at the exterior front door of our home. This video footage is recorded for liability purposes (never shared) and stored for up to 60 days. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting, or obscuring the doorbell is prohibited. November - March: Like most New England homes, our house is built of wood and slightly creaky. Our heating system is oil with baseboard radiators. This is common in older homes of the Northeast where energy costs are very high. The system is very quiet compared to forced or central heating systems. In winter, we keep the interior temperature of our house around 55-60°F (12.5-15.5°C) during the day; less at night, usually around 50-55°F (10-12.5°C). April - October: The heat is off in the house. Please note that air conditioning is limited to only the guest room as the house does not have central air. LGBTQ+ and military friendly!
Quiet, hilly, wooded, residential neighborhood two miles from the Ivoryton town line. Lots of woodland creatures around, like squirrels, turkeys, chipmunks, groundhogs, rabbits, deer, hedgehogs, foxes, opossums, skunks, and more - all harmless unless you seriously bother them. Please note this part of town does not have sidewalks or streetlights. The roads are windy, hilly, and the speed limit is 25-35 mph (40-56 km/h). Cell phone coverage in the area can be spotty, especially if you have a USA-based, GSM-only carrier like AT&T or T-Mobile. If you need to make phone calls, we suggest using apps over WiFi like FaceTime, Hangouts, WhatsApp, Skype, etc. Great location if attending events along the Connecticut shoreline. Water's Edge = 3.5 mi (9 minutes) Saybrook Point = 8 mi (17 minutes) Madison Beach = 13 mi (20 minutes) Mystic = 32 mi (35 minutes) Goodspeed Opera House = 14 mi (25 minutes)
  • A lovely and affordable place to stay! We appreciated the welcome basket and loved the fun plush animals hanging in different parts of the house. Definitely an excellent value, just remember to bring warm pajamas if you stay here in the winter (we did and it was fine). Would stay here again.

  • Privacy and comfort. Attention to details, if you are a stickler for that. Lots of space to relax and enjoy, if you have time for that. They've gone the extra mile to make sure that your stay is comfortable by offering amenities that are not available in hotels. Love peace and serenity, this is the place to go!!! Lots of advice on places to visit in the area, so you don't have to guess using your phone app. They even give you places where you can get gas for your car along with their prices. They've gone the extra mile to make sure that your stay is comfortable - and they are quick to respond should you have questions. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place to everyone! You'll be pampered ......

  • It isn't possible to say too many good things about June's bungalow. The location is so tranquil and so beautiful. Morning coffee, gazing out at the pond, watching the ducks and sunrise. A pellet stove to keep us warm and cozy when temperatures dropped. Abundant towels and culinary supplies. Lovely neighbors. This really felt like a home, not a hotel. June was super responsive, caring but not intrusive. My dog and I would go back in a minute, and we both highly recommend it to other human and canine guests. Both are equally welcomed!

    Jennifer2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • June’s place was the perfect cozy getaway and her hospitality exceeded our expectations! The pellet stove was easy to use so we could make it extra cozy during our late December stay. We were easily able to checkin with a lock box and was greeted with yummy treats for us and our two dogs. This Airbnb is the perfect place if you have behaved pups. We set up dog beds in the living room and they loved the pellet stove. The yard isn’t fenced but there’s plenty of space for them to run around while we enjoyed the view of the pond. June had all of the kitchen gadgets for cooking making it easy to stay in for meals. We found a hiking trail just 5 minutes away called “red trail to blue trail” on the All Trails app. Very easy trail with little to no incline but perfect for a short walk with the dogs. The neighborhood is quiet but in just a short drive you can be in the fun town of Mystic! We’d move into this adorable bungalow in a second that’s how much we loved it. You won’t be disappointed!

  • June’s place is beautiful! Nestled on a lake in a quiet neighborhood, the house is very cute and comfortable. June is very responsive and helpful!

  • We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Old Lyme. June's cottage is lovely and perfectly located for beautiful walks, restaurants and shops. We love it!

  • 2nd time staying at June's - such a lovely time, as always. Hate saying goodbye!

    Brigid2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cozy and welcoming home for the weekend! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was nothing short of amazing! From waking up and having breakfast by the pond in the screened in porch to enjoying a drink and watching the sunset we wouldn’t change a thing about this trip! June is such an amazing host from her hospitality to her tips and guide of the area! She really helps make your stay memorable! She filled the fridge with every day needs like water, eggs, and bread. And was kind enough to leave snacks like chips and more! She was extremely accommodating when we asked for an earlier check in time and even stopped by to show us how to use the beautiful pellet stove in the living room! This cozy bungalow is perfect for a couple for a nice fall/summer/and winter getaway! Thank you so much for everything June we can’t wait to come back and stay again!!

    Lexi2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • June's lake side cottage was cozy and charming. It was just large enough to feel comfortable for two people and also small enough to encourage great conversation and friendship all weekend. The lake was gorgeous (we stayed in mid/late fall) and we had a lovely time poking around Old Lyme and East Lyme. Thanks again, June!

    Emily2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • June’s bungalow is so charming and cozy. In a fantastic location close to great towns with things to do and restaurants. You can also spend the day out on the pond with boats. We brought our corgi who had a fantastic time. June was extremely easy to communicate with and ask for suggestions. 100% will be back very soon.

Highly recommend the space and the host

  • Judy’s place was great and very close to the beach. We had 2 babies with us and there was more than enough room in the family room and bedrooms to set up all our gear. Would definitely stay here again!

  • This house has three nice bedrooms and was great for couples with kids. There's a nice backyard and the place is close to a private beach that's great for small kids. The back screened in porch offers a great spot to hang out in the evening and not wake others who choose to turn in on the other end of the house.

    David2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Judy is a great host and the house was much larger and well equipped than what I thought. The private beach is a short walk and everyone in the neighborhood is extremely friendly. My son is not yet 2, and although the house isn’t child proofed, it was awesome for him. Lots of toys, very safe and lots of room to run and play in the house and yard.

    Chris2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a comfy one story three bedroom house on a corner lot. The neighborhood is peaceful , with residents of all ages. The area is very quiet after dark. A few blocks away brings you to the Post Road with stores and restaurants to fill every need and taste. There is plenty to do in the area even on cloudy or rainy days and many other shore towns to visit within a few miles. We visited a historic site, went to a country fair, and kayaked a nearby cove. The house itself had everything we needed, even a large screen tv. The owner answered questions via email immediately. All in all, a great time for my family group.

    Janice2018-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice and clean home, just a two min walk to a cozy neighborhood beach (and a short drive or bike ride to bigger town beaches). The house is even much nicer in person than in the photos. Judy was easy to communicate with, and very accomodating. Would definitely stay here again!

    Rahwa2016-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant trip. Judy's beach cottage is peaceful and clean. It feels like a home. The place is down a quiet little road with almost no traffic, but close to shopping and dining. Everything was as described and Judy was easy to communicate with by text.

  • Rosemary has an excellent property to offer. It's sparking clean and is very close to the highway. We had a great time here. The new modern kitchen is simply awesome. Rosemary was very prompt in her communication too. We will be back again.

  • It’s a small cottage in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Looks nice inside and has a big back yard. Rosemary is very accommodating and a great communicator. Always quickly responds to any questions. She doesn’t put any outrageous demands on the guests. I would definitely recommend this place.

  • Tidy, comfortable, and convenient. We had a very nice stay in Rosemary's home. The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a little weekend getaway. We were very happy to find a house with a king bed and two bathrooms! Not always easy to come across on Airbnb in this price range. The home is close to downtown Old Saybrook, beaches, Route 1 and shopping. In nice weather you could enjoy the large, fenced-in yard and deck. The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed to make a a few meals. Rosemary provided coffee (and beer!) and pantry staples like spices, sugar, etc. Overall it was a great home with a hospitable host!

    Patricia2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Rosemary’s was excellent! The house is beautiful and well furnished, beds were comfy and back yard is spacious. As a former resident of the town, I can say with confidence that the location is central to Saybrook’s best offerings. Highly recommend to anyone looking in the area, and would book another stay in the future.

We were traveling with 2 kids and Rosemary was kind enough to leave a small bike and some toys for our little ones to play with. Great backyard, kitchen, WiFi and plenty of tv options!

  • This was a beautiful and very clean home and well stocked with amenities in the kitchen and comfortable beds with dressers in the three bedrooms. It was great to have a washer and dryer as well as a half bath on the lower floor. Plenty of room in the living room and a nice dining table and chairs for a family. The bathroom upstairs was large and very nice. The location (short walk to the beach) was great, and the Isabella the host was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this home for your vacation needs. (Also a nice sized yard with a firepit to drink your morning coffee by or end your evening)

  • A lovely home on a quiet street! With the windows open, the only sounds I heard in the morning were the birds chirping. My daughter took a walk and encountered a flock of wild turkeys and a deer. Susan gave us all the information that we needed to have a relaxing stay.

  • Comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Nice touches like coffee, a charging station, soft towels, a laundry, bathroom soaps, AC, and good neighbors. Wonderful local tips and good communication with our host. Stayed 3 nights and had a great time in CT.

  • Blue Haven is a beautiful, comfortable home in close proximity to a beautiful private beach. Most days we had the beach all to ourselves. The amenities at the house were great, it is beautifully decorated, and the beds and furniture very comfortable. We spent lots of time on the screened in porch, enjoying meals, cocktails, and playing games. Susan is a great host- very easy to communicate with and offered great suggestions for things to do and restaurants in the area. We had everything we needed at the house; affording us a very relaxing family vacation. Check in and check out were a breeze; the smart TV and charging station were great. We are CT natives but had never really spent any extended time in Old Saybrook. What a beautiful town. What you see is what you get in these photos of the home and of the area. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

  • Blue Haven was a great fine for our 3 days in Old Saybrook. The ranch-style house was tastefully decorated with a mix of Americana & Beach Decor. It was clean, quiet and just the perfect place to relax and unwind. Susan was an excellent communicator and very helpful with tips for restaurants and attractions. My husband and I enjoyed eating at the Penny Lane Pub, Pizza Works and Ballo Italian Restaurant at the Mohegan Sun Casino. The RiverQuest Cruise is a MUST! Remember to stop first at Hadlyme Country Market and indulge yourself with delicious fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Many thanks Susan for sharing Blue Haven!

  • Excellent one night stay at Susan's house. Her dogs are very cute and she was very welcoming and gracious. Had no difficulty finding the place as it is right on main street, with beautiful views out the window.

  • A hidden gem. I’d recommended this place to anyone looking to experience a historical place to stay. Great location, great hostess, and very very comfortable beds. Love to try the place on a snowy night with the fireplace roaring. Charming is an understatement.

  • Stunning home and excellent hospitality!

    Amber2018-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Susan is a gracious and generous host. The dogs are as sweet as others have already said. They really are. The view of the harbor from the kitchen, and our room, was superb. There is a moderate bit of road noise during the day, but that did not detract from our enjoyment at all. I mention it only as a heads up. Oh, and breakfast was delicious. The restoration of the early 18th c. home is also impressive. So glad we chose to stay with Susan.

    Russell2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautiful, with a lovely view. Also it is a very good walkable and cyclable location with great access to Old Saybrook's lovely Main Street and the coast. Our host made us feel very welcome indeed and had excellent tips on places to go in the area. Overall an excellent and very pleasant experience.

  • I had never tried AirBnb before. But our host Susan made it such a wonderful experience. So friendly and welcoming. It felt like we came to the home of a dear friend. It was also special to stay at a house with such an interesting history. Then it was so relaxing to start the day with a cup of fresh coffee in the backyard, with its beautiful view over the water. I highly recommend this place. I would definitely come back again.

  • This is an amazing house. The home is nearly 300 years old, and has been restored to a "like new" state. The owner has painstakingly made sure to preserve the historic details that make a house like this so unique. You will find details such as wide plank pine flooring, period woodwork, and fireplaces throughout the house. The room itself is excellent. Comfortable bed, private attached bathroom, and a serviceable closet. The host is incredibly hospitable and warm. We would definitely stay here again.

  • The house is impressive. 1737 with wide wood flooring & impressive views. Very clean & inviting. Susan greeted us warmly & gave a tour of her lovely home. The house is located on Main St & is in close proximity to water, beaches, cocktails & dining. We would recommend it highly to everyone.

  • Susan was a wonderful host! Lovely home & location. When visiting Old Saybrook again I’ll happily stay at Susan’s!

  • Susan’s 1737 historic home in Old Saybrook was an absolute DREAM. Not only was the house incredible and the accommodations lovely, Susan was an absolutely delightful host and provided great conversation including some very interesting history on the home. One of our favorite touches was the fan that she included in the room- it was so nice to have the cool breeze & white noise. Altogether, we can’t recommend Susan’s home enough and we are looking forward to our next visit!

    Kalahan2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town for a wedding at the Saybrook Point Inn & Spa and found Susan's place to be a convenient and economical choice to stay. The house and room accommodations were clean and tasteful. Susan was a gracious hostess, offering us delicious home made iced tea upon arrival and a ride to our vehicle if we needed it. We stayed in a first floor room that was spacious and clean. I would have liked the option to lock our bedroom door when we were not there but perhaps this is the standard and I am just not a seasoned Airbnb user. I highly recommend Susan's place and would absolutely stay there again.

    Dawn2018-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Susan is a genuine host. She clearly loves hosting and it shines through in her greeting and all the little thoughtful gestures. The house is a museum and she has amazing stories for each intricate part. So cool! The rooms are airy and well appointed. The beds are crazy comfortable. If it’s available and you care, I would highly recommend upgrading to the upstairs bedroom where you have a deck and a view of the harbor from your pillow. Just saying.

    Jennifer2018-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's house is really beautiful with so much history! It's spacious, updated and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really great!

  • This house was the perfect place for our family's visit to the area. It was spotless and had everything you needed to feel like home. We loved that the home is pet friendly and the fenced-in yard was great for our dog to run around in after a long trip. The owners are incredibly responsive and kind. There are excellent restaurants within a reasonable walking distance (if the weather cooperates) like "Little Pub" and "The Tea Kettle". Will definitely look to rent this house again when we return to the area!

    Brian2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely beach house about 5 min walk from the beach. Laurie has thought of everything plus more. Our dogs really enjoyed the doggie toys and freedom to walk around the fenced in yard. The third floor bedrooms are especially perfect if you have kids and we had everything we needed for a great holiday getaway.

    Susan2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • To all future travelers - this place is amazing! Laurie is one the best hosts! Period. She is an absolute dream to correspond with. She has amazingly fast communication and detailed notes and instructions for everything. Her beach house is positively lovely and has so many homey touches with a great amount of sleeping arrangements. We had a 10 person group and it was never too crowded. The house is super clean and well decorated, it has such a lovely feeling when you walk in. It is also fully equipped with a washer and dryer, full kitchen, and everything else you could need! Plus there is ample parking spaces in case you come with multiple cars. I can't express enough how great this house is. Plus, if you're traveling by train its very close to the Old Saybrook train station and is close to all the neighboring towns. Laurie also has a bunch of advice on locations to visit and is very knowledge about the surrounding area. Over the weekend we were able to contact her by phone very easily and she was fast to respond and advise us on any questions. If you're looking for a place to stay in and around Old Saybrook this place is it. I mean it!

    Alexandra2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a friend reunion where six adults, two kids and one pup stayed for the night. Laurie was communicative and accommodating throughout our stay. We were supposed to stay only one night, but, enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay a second night! The location is closely located to a lot of great dining and 30 mile brewery. The immediate neighborhood is adorable. We enjoyed a walk down to the water to have morning coffees only 5 minutes away. The house was super clean and large with an enclosed backyard for the dog and all the amenities you could ask for. I would 100% return to this home again in the future!
