Places to stay in Old Radnor
Lovely open plan with bedroom on mezzanine floor. Living room with log fire, kitchen area and wet room. Close to amenities shops, bars, restaurants - 7 minute walk down the hill. Also 5 minute walk from parkland with river access. Towels not inc.
We have a lovely converted barn available to rent for short and long stays. Adjacent to but detached from The Old School House [this sleeps 8 comfortably and is also available to rent - see separate entry], the cottage was originally the stables and barn for the headmaster and pupils of Lady Hawkins School (founded 1632) , it then later became the music room. We converted it in 2008 into a quiet self-contained open-plan living space, keeping the original beams and features, including the school bell tower. Inside the cottage is light and airy with white stone walls, oak floors, a Shaker-style kitchen area and galleried bedroom. The wood burner is fuel-efficient and keeps the whole place toasty when needed. The porch, where you can leave dirty shoes, wellies etc, opens into the kitchen-living room area. The kitchen has a Belfast sink, wooden worktop, electric hob, microwave, toaster, fridge. The beamed, high ceiling living room area has the wood burner, oak table and seating, sofa, double sofa bed, chair, coffee table, lamps, bookshelf and books. Also on the ground floor is the tiled wet-room with shower, W.C and basin. Painted wooden stairs lead up to the open-plan galleried bedroom with southerly views across the Arrow Valley. Divided by a cross-beam into two sleeping areas, there is one with a low level double bed and the other with two single futons suitable for children but could be used by adults. All bedlinen (100% cotton) is provided. Digital TV & DVD, radio and broadband connection is provided. A folder of information about what to see and do in the local area is also provided. We provide guests with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. 1 basket of logs is provided for the wood-burner sep-mar otherwise logs are available to purchase at a reasonable price. The price is for up to two people for the property per night, minimum two nights. Weekly rates (from £325) and stays of more than two nights are discounted - please contact us. Note on accessibility: there are two stone and rather uneven steps up to the porch of the cottage. Upstairs to the sleeping area is accessed via a short but fairly steep, curved wooden staircase. Guests have off-road parking for one vehicle in front of the cottage. When the main house is not occupied you are welcome to explore and chill-out in the large garden which has plenty of outdoor seating. Aud, who lives nearby and manages The Cottage for us while we are away, is always welcoming and ready to assist or answer queries but she assumes most guests prefer to be left in peace. So, interaction is minimal unless you want it to be more, in which case don't hesitate to contact her. Kington (population 2,500 or thereabouts) is a genuinely unspoiled and unpretentious historic market town on the English-Welsh border. Our 12 year old son, who currently lives in Nairobi, describes it as, 'fun, friendly and safe'! Until the 1960s it was a major hub for sheep and cattle drovers (the main street and medieval alleyways with their high burgage walls are visible remnants of this former life) and it still serves what is a largely rural farming community and it has retained a weekly livestock market (Thursdays). But nowadays visitors come all year round and Kington provides a welcome and down-to-earth escape from urban and city life... You won't find a trace of a Costa coffee shop here, instead there are local independent cafes and shops (including a deli, organic vegetables, wet-fish, bakers, butchers), and traditional pubs (some brew their own ales), plus an award-winning local museum. There's plenty of good food and drink to be found, much of it locally produced. Surrounded by the naturally beautiful Welsh border countryside, on foot or by car there is much to enjoy locally. We love a walk on Hergest Ridge along the Offa's Dyke Path (the cottage is at the foot of the ridge) across to Gladestry, or a cream tea sitting outside on the Edwardian verandah at Hergest Croft Gardens (6 minutes walk away), or a pint by the fireside at The Harp in Old Radnor. From late May onwards almost every weekend there is a local festival or fete to be found and November and December weekends are usually busy with local Christmas Fairs. Well-known local festivals and events include: the Hereford Art Week (early September), the Rough Ride Cycle Event (August), Hay Literary Festival (end May-June), How the Light Gets In (Globe Hay end May -June), The Royal Welsh Show (Builth July), Sheep Music (Presteigne), Presteigne Music Festival, Titley Jazz Festival, Kington Vintage Show (mid August), Kington Show (a major agricultural event held in early September), Kington Walking Festival (September). Kington is ideally situated for visitors to mid-Wales and the Marches, walkers, canoeists, cyclists. It is in easy reach of Hay-on-Wye, Hereford, Leominster, Rhyader, Builth Wells, Brecon, Presteigne, the Black Mountains and Golden Valley. And Aberystwyth and the coast are just 59 miles away and easily do-able in a day. We love it here. Nearest airports : Birmingham International (74 miles), Bristol (92 miles), Cardiff (93 miiles), Manchester (119 miles) and East Midlands (114 miles) - distances vary but for all allow 2.5 - 3 hours. Nearest railway stations: Leominster (15 miles), Hereford (20 miles). From these there are direct trains to Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, London, Fishguard/Holyhead. Local bus services connect Kington to: Hereford, Llandrindod Wells, Presteigne, Lyonshall, Eardisley, Weobley. Local taxi services are available (best to pre-book) and recommended if arriving by train in the evening hours as buses stop running quite early. A car is not essential. Do ask if you need travel advice or local taxi numbers. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided. Plus 1 big basket of logs for the wood-burner per 3 nights stay. More firewood can be purchased and is available on site. Children are very welcome but note the property is open-plan with an upstairs galleried sleeping area. Access to the stairs is open, there is no stair-gate so we would not recommend it for mobile toddlers. A high chair is available on request - please notify us in advance. One well-behaved dog, with own bedding, is welcome at an extra cost of £15. Dog owners are requested to discuss arrangements with us beforehand so as to avoid any misunderstandings. Weekly cleaning and change of bedlinen for extended stays. The price per night is for up to two people, minimum two nights. Weekly rates are available, from £325 - please contact us. The Cottage may be rented separately or together with The Old School House (4 bedrooms, sleeps 8 comfortably - see separate entry). Please contact us for discount rates during low seasons or if booking the Cottage and Old School House together.
  • The photos really do not do justice to how beautiful the place is. Incredibly cosy and relaxing at night with the wood burner going. Recommend the local owl center. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.

Little Hourstones (named after the adjacent field) is a bespoke and modern A Frame cabin set in a quiet corner of our idyllic organic farm. The interior is light and airy with everything that you might need for a short stay whilst the outside benefits from a fantastic veranda and private hot tub.
Little Hourstones is just a 5-8 minute walk from the centre of the market town of Kington where you can get all of your essentials: There are at least 8 pubs to choose from as well a supermarkets, cafes, coffee shops and other independents supplying everything from local cheeses to antiques.
  • We had a lovely few days stay - very peaceful & quiet, perfect for a chilled getaway. Fab hot tub! Beautiful location, great distance to town & shops. William was very helpful & quick to respond to any queries we had.

    Rebecca2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • This little lodge is lovely. A great place to get away with horses out your window and chicken on your door step. The lodge is really sweet and also stylish. Hottub is nice and just a great place to spend time with people. Easy to find and plenty big enough for the 3 of us that went!

    Matilda2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely relaxing weekend in the cabin. Will (who actually built the cabin) was on hand all weekend and nothing was too much. The cabin it’s self is gorgeous and very stylish with lots of gorgeous little touches!

    Jemma2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Came Here for a girly get away with my mum and sister. Great place, short walk to local town with great pubs and cafes. Had a kitchen with fridge kettle toaster, and hob. Cabin was lovely and clean, with toiletries and hairdryer. Hot tub under decking was cute, but could only fit 2 comfortably. But still a great feature of cabin. Made friends with the two chickens roaming around, they even left us some eggs. Had tv with fire stick and board game and some books available.

    Verity2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely space, small, but 4 of us close friends had a great, comfortable time. Hot tub is brilliant and cute decor. Thanks!

    Sammo2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had such an amazing stay, the cabin was very clean and comfortable, there was an amazing hot tub that is built into the ground which was easy access to get into. Perfect location and great company from the animals from the farm. Will highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend stay. Definitely will be returning.

    Samantha2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was absolutely beautiful! The building itself is so stunning and the inside matches this too - lovely and modern but with a cosy feel - it looks exactly like the pictures but also somehow better at the same time. The chickens that walk around really make the trip even better, they are such characters, and there are some lovely horses in the field next to the cabin also. We had a great surprise, as the hot tub has been upgraded and has now been built into the decking instead - so so nice and the perfect way to spend the evening. The only downside was that we couldn’t find the remote to turn on the beautiful bulb lights that frame the outside of the cabin, so we didn’t get to see these in person. The hosts were super quick to respond if I needed to ask anything. We absolutely loved our stay, it was idyllic and I am so sad it’s over already. Definitely hope to return one day and would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

    Aisling2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my boyfriend had an amazing and relaxing time in the cabin. Everything we needed was there, we even received some products for pancake day which was a really lovely touch! The hot tub was a bonus. The place was very clean. The hosts replied to any questions straight away. Both very happy with our stay.

Stonewood Cottage is in a quiet, secluded spot very close to the town’s amenities. It is tricky to locate by postcode only so look at the Directions section! This is walkers' country, with several national trails starting, finishing or passing through the town, Offa’s Dyke Path being one. The river fishing is spectacular on the Wye and the Severn. Kington is a small market town on the Welsh borders and it has several pubs, cafes and takeaways plus a walking shop
You can park outside the cottage but the access is narrow and rather steep so we advise that you initially park close by (free), call us and we will come to meet you and show you where we are. Details are in the Directions section, available after you book.
Offa's Dyke Trail comes through Kington which lies between Hay on Wye and Knighton on the route. Hergest Ridge is a half hour walk away from our doorstep. Herefordshire Trail, Glydwr's Way, the Wyche Way, the Mortimer Trail all pass through Kington. Kington Walking Festivals, April 12th to 14th and September 19th to 22nd in 2019 are very popular and well attended events, as are the two Hay-on-Wye literary festivals. We are one minute’s walk from the Oxford Arms which serves food most days. Cloud 9 Spa and pool are available at the Burton Hotel if you fancy a bit of pampering.
  • A gem in the middle of the marches! You will find the best hospitality and comfort here. I felt right at home immediately and slept like a baby. Liz has thought of every little detail making your stay a real treat.

    Joanne2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Always a pleasure to return to Liz’s place. Love coming here especially for the warm hospitality.

  • Liz’s place is delightful. Liz goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and happily provides lots of local tips. Liz’s place is sparkling clean and very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stop there again. Thank you Liz

    Diane2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome as ever. Great to return to Liz's place.

    Gurdeep2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Liz’s place. Liz met us in the car park around the corner and drove us back to the house. The room is spacious with a huge en suite bathroom, all sparkling clean with lots of nice touches. Liz took the time to speak to us about our day and she knows all about the town and walks in the area. We highly recommend. There are lots of pubs within walking distance and we both had splendid homemade lasagne in the Oxford Arms down the road. They also had a free pool table and darts board, what’s more the locals were friendly and spoke to us and the landlord and staff couldn’t have been better.

    Robert2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place, it’s lovely to come back to such fine hospitality. Looking forward to the next stay here.

    Evan Frankie2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely hosts with good communication. We were allowed to use the outdoor fire pit (after asking) so sitting beside it with a cuppa at night was lovely. Great little touches like tea and coffee, fairy lights on the decking etc. I didn't realise how far the bathroom was from the cabin (150yards??) but that is because I misread the detail thats in the profile! Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks for having us!!

  • Tina went out of her way and provided us with exceptional hospitality for our stay in Kington! Loveliest woman and it was a pleasure to stay in this room! Tina informed us of all the local amenities and things to do. All in all an amazing stay and could recommend more!!

  • Perfect nights stay and ideal as a base to go out and explore the surrounding areas. Comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in! They provide everything you need and the Netflix account is a welcome addition. Also brilliant that we could bring our dog with us. Unfortunately Storm Dennis hit during our stay and the hosts were brilliant, even offering us to stay for a few hours longer to avoid us travelling back in unsafe conditions. The pizza place downstairs is incredible and well worth a visit so thank you for the recommendation. We will definitely be back!

  • I had such a wonderful, relaxing time in the pod! WHAT A VIEW!!! Lots of local walks and a visit to the Elan Valley is a must! Thank you for the goodies - the eggs, butter and milk were lovely. We had a fab time, chilling out in the pod with the log burner on. I even managed to sit outside with a glass of wine on Sunday afternoon, (with my coat and scarf on) to take in the amazing view! We will be back again in the summer! Charlotte, Hugo & Hector x

  • We had a lovely few days at Hare’s form, the pod was great and the views fantastic. Loved seeing the alpacas and the sheep, and we were lucky enough to see an alpaca just hours after birth. It was just the break we wanted, thank you very much.

    Helen2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Hare’s Form surpassed all our expectations - and they were high to begin with! The view is absolutely remarkable and the pod itself is amazingly comfortable. We stayed a night or two during some blustery weather and the pod felt warm and secure throughout. We could hardly hear the rain and wind! Alice and Kevin have ensured that the the pod not only has plenty of thoughtful and stylish touches but also great amenities. We were able to cook each night on the induction stove and keep a well stocked fridge. The location of the farm was perfect for exploring much of Mid-Wales and also parts of the UK. There are plenty of wonderful days out within an hours drive - we would particularly recommend a scenic drive through Elan Valley. We equally enjoyed spending time close to the farm, walking around the local fields and visiting the nearby waterfall. Needless to say, we will be visiting again and have already recommended Hares Form to friends and family.

The Byre is a beautiful stone built studio retreat on a 16th century farmstead. Ensuite shower & loo, and wonderful views. Queen size 4 poster bed, rustic stone walls, and rural artefacts, a place to enjoy simple country living. Kettle, toaster, small fridge, microwave for microwaved meals, electric radiators, no wifi (good mobile data coverage). Nearby Harp Inn or The Forrest Inn are great for more comprehensive meals & have log burning fires by which to rest after the walk (or drive!) there.
The Byre enjoys giant views across wildflower meadows to majestic and beautiful hills. It is east facing to enjoy wonderful sunrises
  • Lovely place to stay, love the character to the place and everything you want for a short stay!

Mount Pleasant is set amidst 40 acres of pasture and woodland and was fully refurbished 10 years ago. It has been our family's home since we 'escaped to the countryside' in 2006. Instead of being an empty nest the opportunity now presents to share this idyllic location with people travelling for work or pleasure.
Guests will have the privacy of the largest bedroom in the property overlooking the front garden, pasture & woodland beyond and next to the bathroom shared with the host when at home. The bedroom features a king size bed, small sofa bed, chairs, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. This provides guests with the option of meals in the privacy of their room, however, you are more than welcome to make yourselves at home in the kitchen or any of the other shared spaces for that matter. Supplies are provided for a continental breakfast, however, the shared kitchen with all the usual appliances is available if you wish to prepare any cooked meals. The fridge & cupboards are reasonably well stocked and guests are welcome to help themselves with alcohol being the only exception. If you fancy a drink I do ask that guests place an appropriate contribution into the honesty pot on the bench in the entrance hallway. Being the host's home it may not be sparkling clean and rooms not photographed will definitely be less than tidy but all that guests are expected to do is respect the space and leave it as they find it.
The small market town of Kington with its many shops, pubs and cafes is just over a mile from the farm. The Small Breeds Farm Park & Owl Centre is just a few 100m up the road. Offas Dyke & Hergest Ridge are perfect for walkers. The Black & White Trail takes you through the very picturesque villages around us. Half an hours drive gets you to Hay on Wye for the literary minded or canoe enthusiasts, Elan Valley's idyllic reservoirs, Historic Hereford with its cider museum & Mappa Mundi or Leominster for its numerous antique shops.
  • Laila's house is wonderful and Laila is an amazing friendly host. The outlook from the room was beautiful - the house is surrounded by fields but just a couple of minutes from the middle of Kington. Everything was sparkling clean and well signposted and labelled. Breakfast was available in our room, but we were equally welcome to take it in the kitchen which we did. Thanks, Laila.

  • Beautiful, comfortable home in the countryside! We loved our stay here! The entire house was open to us and the host was very communicative if we had any questions even though we didn’t get the chance to meet her!! Her property is lovely and the sweetest horse is in the pasture nearby!

  • Lovely venue. Rural quiet. Good views and local walks on attached land. Close to pretty little town. Comfy mattress and pillows. Very recommended.

    Stephen2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very good, the room is large and warm, the bed is super comfortable, and we quickly enter a sweet dream. The landlord is super friendly and very talkative, and we chat very happily. There is also a lovely horse outside the house, very gentle. If you are traveling with us as well, it is highly recommended here. If you are not disappointed, there will be unexpected surprises.

A restored outbuilding adjacent to a Georgian house up a private lane just one mile outside Presteigne; this comfortable 2 bedroom self-contained space offers privacy, peace, modern facilities and lovely views from balconies on each end.
A timber-built former wood-drying shed featuring high ceilings and a lovely rich red cedar floor, this place has central heating as well as a wood-burning stove, modern bathroom with huge walk-in shower, and kitchen with ceramic hob and oven. Although it is adjacent to the main house it is separate and very private. One bedroom has an king size bed and the other a double; there is also a fold-out floor sofa/mattress which we can provide bed-linen for if requested. Plus travel cot is available on request. There is a TV, iPlayer, DVD player, and facility for playing audio from your mp3 player or phone.
Beautiful part of the Welsh borders close to Offa's Dyke. Presteigne is an ancient market town steeped in history with an award-winning small museum and a lively music scene. We are situated on the edge of the forest and there are many beautiful walks from the house.
  • This cabin is beautiful, its a real getaway, we took our little dog which was great, kids loved it, views were outstanding and host was very helpful and complimentary wine was a nice touch.

  • Quaint little cabin that’s cosy and in a beautiful rural scenic location. The pictures don’t really do it justice as it’s bigger than it looks. Myself, husband and two children enjoyed a comfortable stay and some lovely woodland walks from the cabin. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and offered some good local knowledge.

  • Emma's House is a perfect place to unwind, surrounded by beautiful countryside with stunning views. It has everything you need and Monica is a lovely, attentive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and despite the torrential rain loved walking up into the magical woods above the house. We loved it, especially the balconies with mesmerising views. Heaven! Thank you Monica!

    Jessica2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, secluded and scenic stay. Monica was super helpful and very welcoming. The house had everything we needed; a perfect base for our hiking trips each day and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking in the evening (as a bit of a walk from town/restaurants, we also stayed midweek so fewer of these were open). Would love to stay again

  • Delia and Milwyn are great hosts. The apartment is on the lower floor of their lovely home. It is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It is just a short walk from the town centre yet in a quiet residential location. There are very good local independent shops on the High Street as well as supermarkets. There are parks with play facilities for the children close by and easy access to some beautiful walks directly from the apartment. Parking is private immediately outside the apartment. Delia provides breakfast provisions and there is outside drying space as well as indoor airing facilities for rainy days. I would highly recommend Delia's apartment to anyone wanting a comfortable and convenient base for exploring North and West Herefordshire.

I am a short walk from Offa's Dyke. It's peaceful, and there is a lovely garden where I grow my own vegetables, and flowers The house has a wonderful view down the Radnor Valley. I do offer supper for walkers.
This area is called the Marches and has attracted artists, potters, basket makers, blacksmiths; in fact anyone creative. Also the scenery here is wonderful, but without the mass of people you get in other areas. There is an Observatory at Knighton as the skies here are dark, so if it's clear there are millions of stars. There are many local walks, and interesting places to visit.
  • Welcoming host with a lovely cosy cottage!

The School Room from our home educating days has been converted to create a beautiful living space comprising a lounge area with a King size sofabed, tv & dvd player (with various dvds), a dining space and kitchenette. The latter has a sink with drainer racks in the overhead cabinet, fridge, microwave, single induction hob, kettle and toaster with warming rack. The oak staircase beautifully designed to complement the solid oak flooring gives access to the superb bathroom and the bedroom where a super king memory foam bed ensures a restful night.

For the first time ever I saw the stars in a ‘dark’ sky, stupendous. Bed is huge and very comfortable. Laila provided everything you need from breakfast things, tea and coffee, bathroom items, clear instructions for things like the fire and hob and local tips. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again, it was brilliant.

Relax and explore beautiful countryside! Great deals for weekly stays - 35% discount! Blodeuwedd Cottage is located on a single track no-through road and on the edge of the attractive and thriving market town of Kington, a 'Border Town' in the Welsh Marches. It's only 10 minutes walk to local shops, deli, tourist info, post office, takeaways, restaurants, pubs etc. The cottage is named after Blodeuwedd (meaning 'Flower Face'), a beautiful woman who was cursed and turned into an owl in one of the stories belonging to the Mabinogion, a famous collection of old Welsh legends. The cottage is several hundred years old and is one half of a traditional Welsh long-house. One can see how the central circular fireplace has been divided in two, probably a hundred years ago or more. Both the lounge and front bedroom have lots of exposed beams and many of the walls downstairs are natural local stone. The cottage is wonderfully romantic for a couple and quite magical for children and therefore also ideally suited for families. We also regularly let to walkers and cyclists. • Lovely little cottage. Traditional and cosy!

    Konstantinia2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful experience here! The cottage is loaded with character. It’s very cozy and we had a fire every day. The main room is a tad smaller than it appears in the photos but comfortable and was perfect for the two of us. The good-sized modern kitchen and bath were a big bonus. Kitchen in particular is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. and we had everything we needed to cook a big Christmas Dinner. The garden is beautiful with lovely views. We also found Kington a great spot. We were walking distance from town, which includes a co-op, pharmacy, shops and pubs. Highly recommend the Royal Oak managed by Sue and Martin. Everyone was very friendly. Verena is a great host and stayed in touch though out our stay. I highly recommend staying here!

  • A cosy, quaint little cottage in a gorgeous part of the world. Lovely walks from the doorstep, tasty places to eat in town and nearby. Don't miss the red kite feeding at Gigrin farm (check for opening times), the Elan Valley and walking on Hergest Ridge.

  • The cottage is lovely cozy place to stay. It's well kitted out and has plenty of character and charm. It has a nice size garden and table and chairs to eat outside. The town of Kington is in walking distance and there are a variety of nice cafes and unique shops to explore. The views surrounding Kington are spectacular, especially if you go up on Hergest Ridge, which can be walked to from the cottage. We saw wild horses up on the ridge, which was a nice treat! We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend the cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing break.

  • Such a charming cottage full of history and in a beautiful area of the country. We found people in Kington to be so welcoming and there is so much to do and see in the area, although this cottage is so cozy and peaceful you'll just want to slow down and enjoy tea in the garden and walks in the immediate area.

Mount Pleasant Farm is made up of The Farmhouse and a self-contained flat (listed separately as The School Room) set amidst 40 acres of pasture and woodland. It has been our family's home since we 'escaped to the countryside' in 2006. Instead of now being an empty nest with the children grown & flown the opportunity presents to share this idyllic location with people travelling for work or pleasure. Hikers & bikers are welcome with secure storage of equipment offered in the garden/boot room.
The Farmhouse, which comprises more than three quarters of the whole building, is still the host's primary home but guests will have complete privacy during their stay and the use of a large bedroom which has been designed and prepared exclusively for the use of guests, a more modest size bedroom, a twin room, the main bathroom, kitchen diner, lounge, Snug with sofa bed (if required as a bed please advise host in advance), downstairs WC & laundry facilities. The garden/boot room may also be used to dry clothes and store bikes & muddy gear. There is a totally separate self contained flat at the far end of the house which may be occupied by the host during your stay. This is on the other side of bolted internal doors but has its own separate parking, entrance, living/dining/kitchenette, bedroom & bathroom. If you would prefer having the entire property to yourselves I invite you to view the listing https://airbnb.com/h/mountpleasantfarm on Airbnb, which enables you to book the main house plus the flat. Maps will be available indicating which areas of pasture and woodland are part of Mount Pleasant and therefore available to be explored. However, as there is livestock present and not all gates are in good states of repair please be mindful of your safety and that of the animals. Any problems please do not hesitate to contact the host.
The small market town of Kington with its many shops, pubs and cafes is just over a mile from the farm. The Small Breeds Farm Park & Owl Centre is just a few 100m up the road. Offa's Dyke & Hergest Ridge are perfect for walkers. The Black & White Trail takes you through the very picturesque villages around us. Half an hours drive gets you to Hay on Wye for the literary minded or conoe enthusiasts, Elan Valley's idyllic reservoirs, Historic Hereford with its cider museum & Mappa Mundi or Leominster for its numerous antique shops.
  • This property is set in a beautiful part of the country with lovely views. The hosts are very kind and thoughtful even making breakfast foods available and helping in any way possible. The actual house is beautiful and the log burner is such a fantastic touch! We really had a fabulous time!

Very comfortable beds, good amenities and Laila was a lovely host. Really helpful and included a whole booklet of tips for things to do and places to go in the local area, as well as any information needed for around the house. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

Detached 1 bedroom ensuite annexe to 300 year old cottage located on the edge of Kington in the midst of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. We are at the foot of Bradnor Hill and a few hundred yards from Offa's Dyke path and Hergest Ridge. We offer reservations of 1 to 5 nights but will consider longer on request.
Converted in October 2017, the accommodation comprises 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower room over spacious double garage. Large private drive with parking for several cars. Access is via 2 flights of steps to own front door. We provide a small fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk, bottled water, plates, bowls and cutlery together with TV (Freeview channels) and WIFI. We are able to offer breakfast on request. We have a lovely garden which guests are welcome to use at their leisure. We also have a south facing terrace for use by our guests. Plenty of storage space available in separate room for walking boots, golf clubs etc. We are a 12 minute walk away from Kington (we do it regularly!) which has several pubs, restaurants and cafes offering a wide selection of different foods. Kington golf club is the highest course in England and has some of the most stunning views in the county. We are very conveniently located for the Hay Festival (12 miles), the Brecon Beacons, the Elan Valley and Ludlow to name but a few places. Kington is perhaps best known for all the walking it has to offer and hosts its own annual walking festival each September. People come from far and wide to walk in this area of the UK.
  • Lovely room on a plot overlooking the Kingston valley. Guy was a great host, who went above and beyond when it came to hospitality and helping with wedding logistics in the country side. Would recommend!

  • Guys place lived up to expectations and is well situated. Guy is an excellent host I would recommend it

    Norma2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Guy and Claire's annex. Lovely people who gave us friendly tips about the local area and even offered to help pick us up from the wedding we went to when a taxi firm could not. The place is clean and to a high standard. Perfect for 2 for a short stay, but be mindful there is no kitchenette to make your own meals so you would need to eat out. Helpfully the local town is only a short walk with plenty of options. Would definitely recommend this place, and may be coming back again to enjoy the beautiful scenery once more!

    Pete2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Although they had had a disaster with the plumbing just prior to our visit, they made us very welcome in their own home (not the annex) and went to a lot of trouble to meet our needs. Would stay there again, great for walking, lovely views from patio.

    Claire2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • The bedroom is independent of the main house, very clean and comfortable and situated in a quiet area. Clare and Guy were very welcoming and very responsive to cater for our needs. We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Listening to them trotting in the morning whilst having coffee was lovely. The hottub was amazing and there is a well-equipped gym. • We visited Amanda's cottage in January and loved our stay. We had our 12 week old baby with us and it was perfect. It was so peaceful and relaxing, with the log burner and gorgeous surroundings. We arrived at night so we didn't get to see the surroundings until the morning when we opened the curtains. The views are beautiful and it's right next to an orchard. For myself and my family, Amanda's cottage is the perfect getaway to recharge and relax. The local pub, the royal oak, served great food and we also went to the wild thyme cafe and the food was stunning! Thank you Amanda for creating this idyllic setting for others to appreciate. Xx

  • Testimony to Andrea & Jonathan, Wild Meadow is a special place with warm, welcoming special touches throughout the home. The standard is excellent, the detail and quality of build and finish is wonderful, simply crafted with care. A truly special place and spotless! 3 nights only.... and that was the only downside!! We would've loved to have stayed longer. 3 of us had the place to ourselves - myself, my wife Fi and her 90 year old mum Meg. It was a perfect stay especially for mum who's stay was made even more perfect with the downstairs bedroom which was so accessible and next door to the shower room. Everything is catered for and well stocked throughout, even down to a good supply of logs for the wonderful log burner which we enjoyed throughout our stay. We wanted for nothing more. We loved the grounds both wild and tame and still stunning even in the winter month. We hope to come back and enjoy Wild Meadow in full bloom sometime. A huge thanks to Andrea & Jonathan for sharing their home and for the delicious welcoming Wild Meadow Apple juice, the chocolates and of cause the lovely Christmas tree to celebrate the end of our festive holiday. All very much appreciated and perfect to enjoy while spending hours during our stay doing a 1000 piece jigsaw..... which we finished on our last night! We look forward to returning to Wild Meadow. A great place to stay, a wonderful home to share. Thanks so much Andrea & Jonathan Ange, Fi & Meg

  • A really beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. The cottage is designed beautifully and has a really cosy & luxurious feel. We stayed in the winter and the log fire and cosy sofas were very welcoming. Great extra touches 💕. Lovely village and villages within driving distance.

  • Andrea's place is very cosy and clean. I stayed with my friends (3 couples and a 3 month old baby) for my partners birthday and we all had a lovely time. The weather had been very wet beforehand so be careful driving as the roads do get pretty flooded! The beds were so comfy and the kitchen had loads of great amenities to cook a big meal. We went for a short walk into Presteigne, it's a really cute village with lovely local shops. It was also nice to have a Christmas tree up in the house for our stay so close to Christmas, and the fresh apple juice was delicious. Thanks again for having us Andrea. We would definitely come and stay again. :)

    Sara2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Andreas for a get together before Christmas. It was a prefect place for us 4 adults (with a double bed to spare). There were also two bathrooms which was an unexpected surprise. The downstairs the perfect layout for chilling in front of the fire while others whipped up a storm in the fully fitted kitchen. The location was exactly what we we looking for, set away from roads and neighbours with surrounding fields all around. Andrea was a fabulous host with the most thoughtful touches. A little extra note: there is a level access downstairs bedroom and bathroom which is so rare to find I felt others may wish to know.

You will have the whole cottage to yourselves. Come and go as you please and cook with a plentiful supply of pans or just relax in the quiet space. We are also dog friendly.
The cottage is situated in a hamlet with uninterrupted views across open countryside to the hills surrounding, just off the Radnor Forest, where the last dragon in Wales was slain! This border country is full of spectacular castles and has centuries of history. Great walks are a by-word for the border country.
  • A lovely cottage, beside a fast flowing stream, surrounded by fields and hills. On a clear night the stars are fantastic.

  • We were looking for a quiet place, no phones etc to just chill after a crazy week at work. The cottage was perfect for this, it is small and quirky but easily enough room for two of us and a rather large dog! Lots of nice walks, sitting watching the river run through was beautiful - a really special place. Great value - even milk, bread, butter etc ready for arrival and plenty of wood and coal for the fire! Thank you for a great stay.

  • Superb little cottage that's perfect for some solitude and much needed relaxation. Peter was a thoughtful, Well informed conscientious host. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone. the little owl we saw on the last morning was the icing on the cake btw!!

    Patrick2018-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Quirky little house, nicely situated for walking around the area, loved the wood burner, nice little kitchen, enjoyed our stay!

    Annie2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was the PERFECT escape from the hustle and bustle of city life due to no mobile signal, which meant total peace. The cottage was quirky and the perfect size for the two of us. Peter greeted us when we arrived and he was very friendly and helpful and there was also an informative guide should we require anything else. The activity we enjoyed most on our short break was sitting on the balcony each evening with our bat detector. It was great fun watching the bats fly above our heads and listening to the owls in the distance. In the daytime the river was alive with baby trout, dragonflies and lots of birds including kingfishers. To get the most out of your holiday here, you need a car and it's a perfect base if you like visiting old churches. A short 5-10 minute drive away is St Mary's Church in Pilleth, which is beautiful and well worth a visit.

    Mark2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the cottage Saturday to Monday and couldn't have had a more perfect stay! Peter and Mandy met us at the cottage to show us around, and gave us ideas for local restaurants and walks! The photos on this page really don't do the cottage justice! It is SO lovely! I highly recommend the visit to anyone considering it! The balcony over the river was perfect to sit with dinner and a glass of wine. Local towns are a drive away so best for a car! Very lovely secluded location that we will definitely be recommending and coming back!! Thank you!

Our luxury barn conversion overlooks stunningly beautiful Welsh border country near Offa’s Dyke. It is a place of exceptional peace and restfulness, but there are also great walks, pubs, restaurants, gardens and activities close by, starting with Presteigne less than a mile away. Paradise is aptly named and we love welcoming guests to share this beautiful place with us. For larger groups, Bedwas cottage can be booked together with Carno cottage next door.
The cottage has step-free access to a fully equipped and comfortable kitchen/dining/sitting area at ground floor level. The ground floor bedroom sleeps two people and has an ensuite shower. The upstairs (principal) bedroom has a spacious ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom is a small and cosy single room, but please note it can only be accessed via the main bedroom, so is suitable for a child with parents sleeping next door or for three friends sharing the two contiguous rooms. The beds are comfortable and can be configured as a Super King (very large double) bed or as twin beds. As default, the upstairs (principal) bedroom is set up with a Super King bed and the downstairs bedroom with twin beds. However, please let us know in advance and we can reconfigure the beds to suit your party's needs. The cottage includes all mod cons such as underfloor heating and double glazing. The bedrooms have digital flat screen TVs with Freeview, DVD player and DAB radio. There is also a facility for listening to your MP3 player. The kitchen is fully equipped to allow you to indulge your love of experimental cooking, with a four-ring gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The spacious and comfortable living area has a sound system with DAB radio.
Presteigne, with shops and restaurants, is just one mile away. It is a delightful small town on the black and white trail.
  • A spacious and well-equipped cottage in a lovely location. John was very friendly and helpful. Well located for walking and trips to Kington, Knighton and Presteigne.

  • Tranquil, clean and pretty. Well thought out and equipped; thoroughly relaxing stay. Thank you

    Jane2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location with good road access (was worried it might be a dirt track but it's fully tarmac!). Lovely hosts. Great views. Beautiful touches like fresh flowers by the bed, homemade bread and fresh hen eggs. Very comfortable bed, good sheets and towels. Excellently equipped kitchen. Shared Utility room with washing machine and private small freezers (although the freezer was off and took 2 days to get down to temperature - would recommend the hosts leave on despite environmental implications). Lots of parking. Sitting area is small and there isn't a tv. Good WiFi. Our dog (5 month old Labrador) loved it - note dogs only allowed downstairs. Ensuite to the upstairs bedroom was huge - much bigger than the one pictured which must be the next-door cottage. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful stay - the night sky is full of stars you can't see in the city (viewing better once the outside lights go off).

    Jonathan2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The farmhouse is lovely and clean and is exceptional value for money. The view is better than the pictures as the sun sweep over it during the day. The location is also easy to find using Google maps. John is friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond. We had a few requests that he generously met so don't hesitate to ask. I can't think of what he could've done better. Overall, we had a great trip and John and Anita only made it better.

    Sang Fui2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Tremendous place to stop for a much needed relaxing mini break! Accommodation was wonderfully comfortable and we were made to feel exceptionally welcome, along with our dog. Location is stunning and views amazing! We didn’t explore much of the area as we wanted to spend as much time as possible on John’s beautiful land! We particularly enjoyed the many games of Ping Pong we played, highly amusing! We can’t recommend the place enough.

    Eve2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • A warm and friendly welcome, outstanding accommodation in a beautiful location with every requirement anticipated. Totally relaxing environment, spotlessly clean, exceptionally well equipped, crisp and fresh bed linen, huge beds, soft towels and luxurious bathroom. I’ve run out out of superlatives because Paradise Farm is one of the nicest places you could ever be lucky enough to find.

The Barn at Titley is a stunning Grade 2 listed barn conversion furnished in boutique hotel style. The first floor has a dramatic open-plan living space with a gallery above. There are two four-poster bedrooms (one en-suite and one wet room), plus a single bed on the gallery. Outside is a private front garden with dining facilities and a shared rear courtyard. The Barn is adjacent to a nature reserve with lakes. Titley has a great gastro-pub, The Stagg, with a history of Michelin-stars.
The Barn is a stunning contemporary conversion with living space on the first floor, overlooked by a gallery reaching into the eaves of the barn - great for teenagers and adults alike who want to chill out! The barn overlooks farmland and forests at the front and there is a large courtyard to the rear( shared with other residents). Two four-poster bedrooms are downstairs, one king with en-suite bathroom , the other double with a wet room and great power shower. There is also a cloakroom serving the second bedroom off the entrance hall.
Titley has an amazing nature reserve just down the lane from the barn with glacial pools surrounded by unploughed fields - perfect for secluded picnics in summer. The birdlife is rich and varied in the reserve and around the barn. The Stagg Inn, just around the corner, has a history of Michelin stars, reasonable prices and our guests unfailingly love it!
  • Had a fantastic stay at the barn. There was a small hiccup with the travel cot and high chair not being left out when we arrived but with the help of a lovely neighbour and quick responses from Christine, it was sorted ASAP :) We also discovered a bottle of Prosecco on the doorstep as way of an apology which was much appreciated and enjoyed! The area is stunning in itself & is a fantastic location from which to explore lots of local towns. We cooked most nights, but thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Stagg and a delivery from the Indian takeaway in Kington too. Fantastic correspondence & nice little touches, the barn really is a beautiful property. Thank you for a lovely stay!

  • This was the perfect cozy Christmassy stay with friends! We particularly loved the sociable kitchen/ diner/ living area. (The kitchen was very well equipt for cooking). It was lovely and clean, and also set in the beautiful peaceful countryside with picturesque walks right from the front door. Would definitely recommend!

  • Well worth it. Lovely clean modern and stylish. Loads of added touches made it a home away from home

    Paolo2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Barn is stunning, comfortable and well appointed. We had a comfortable stay despite the worst of the British weather and our hosts couldn’t have done enough for us. The area is also beautiful and we can’t wait to come back and enjoy the view again

    Kathryn2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely short break in this property. The barn itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, located in a small complex with allocated parking. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and this made self catering very easy. That said, the nearby Stagg pub is a good excuse not to cook, Sunday lunch was really good and very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Titley itself is very quiet, with nice country walks on the doorstep, and well positioned for exploring the area. The hosts provided lots of information and replied to all emails promptly. The welcome pack was a nice touch and much appreciated. The hosts allow children to stay, we have two, aged 5 and 8. Whilst our kids loved it, there were lots of potentially breakable things around (which fortunately remained intact on this occasion), as well as steep wooden stair cases, and a noise sensitive neighbour who has an aversion to slammed doors, so it may not suit younger or more energetic children! We would definitely recommend this property and would happily return.

  • It's a lovely place to stay and Terry was very helpful. The upstairs living area is really light and airy and it was very clean. Lots to do near by as not far from Hay on Wye and Brecon.

    Carrie2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay here. Andrea is a wonderful host. We took our pooch with us and he had plenty of space to run around. Over the three days we walked miles through the Welsh mountains, taking in the wonderful views. Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow are only 30 minutes away and are both worth a visit. We will definitely be back again!

    Kate2019-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • I have got to say Andrea has hit the ball out the park with this one, she catered to our needs and exceeded every expectation to having the wood burner pre toasting the hut to the little things like local produce for the first morning breakfast I couldn't ask for anything more from this little get away perfect for all ages even decent signal but I didnt miss using technology one bit while here Once again, thank you.

    Jordan2019-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea and Johnathan have a beautiful shepherds hut and set up with undercover kitchen, fire pit, shower and toilet. All perfectly clean and with lovely welcoming touches. You are close enough to amenities but sat on the hill over looking the valley feel like it is just you and the sheep! Andrea quickly responded to all communication. Would visit again and highly recommend for glamping luxury.

    Rebecca2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • A fabulous place to stay with all the comforts required for a great weekend of glamping. The hut is super cosy, comfy bed, great wood burner which heats the hut in no time if required. A lovely place to stay would highly recommend.

  • What can you expect from Karen's place? - In a quiet corner in mid-Wales, nestled in a valley surrounded by glorious countryside and by the side of quiet country road, a wonderful property, owned and managed by Karen, who goes to every effort to make your stay there the best it could be.

    Damian2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • A real gem nestled in beautiful countryside given a very thoughtful, personal touch by Karen, make Holly Gate just about perfect! Wonderful place and wonderful host!

    Damian2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's place definitely exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect get away location for a girly weekend trip. A lot of effort has gone into making this home a relaxing comfortable space. Karen was an excellent host who was always on had with any questions we had not only about the house but also the local area. We were also lucky enough to be welcomed with some delicious home made treats. I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful get away you will not be disappointed. The house has been decorated beautifully and it is in a beautiful location with stunning views from every window. We will definitely miss this place and the waking up to the subtle sound of sheep every morning. Thank you Karen for having us.

    Shazna2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s place was perfect. Charming, cosy and we could feel there like home even though we stayed there only 2 night. Karen’s hospitality was outstanding, one of the best AirBnb we ever stayed. It exceeded our expectation.

    Stefan2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Holly Gate was a wonderful place for a short break in mid wales. Karen is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond. So many thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation, not least the wonderful baking (we took home the left over Bara brith). The kitchen is super well equipped with everything you could possibly need, books on the local area, games if it’s a miserable day and lovely comfortable beds. We visited Hay on Wye and Berrington Hall National Trust property, both around a 30 minute drive away. You will need a car in order to explore the area but the village of New Radnor is a short walk. If there is public transport, I know Karen would be happy to help with info. We ate at a wonderful restaurant called the Oak at Wigmore which was fantastic for a birthday treat and spent a day ‘at home’ for R and R. Although Holly Gate is adjoined to Karen’s house we didn’t feel overlooked or too close and knowing that if we needed anything we could just knock the door was great. I would certainly recommend to friends and family and hope to visit again in the future.

  • Such a lovely place. John is a wonderful host and very attentive. Lovely personal touches such as homemade bread and the fridge stocked with butter, milk and orange juice, as well as cereal for breakfast. The cottage is very comfortable and home from home. The location is blissfully tucked away with no unnatural noises such as cars and aeroplanes, just the sound of nature.

  • Excellent communication with John prior and during the trip. Beautiful setting, spotless accommodation and we really appreciated the bathroom and bedroom for my mum who is now really struggling with her mobility. She had a stress free trip away. John was very welcoming and really helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • Outstanding accommodation in a beautiful location. Loved and appreciated the additional touches of bread/juice/milk/cereal/eggs. Saved us the hassle of finding shops after a long journey. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and the host was immediately available when we had any questions. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Oh and the resident cat is gorgeous! He spent a bit of time with us having lots of attention and affection :)

John and Gloria are a very interesting and friendly couple who took time out to chat with us to make us feel very welcome. The facilities were excellent and we were very grateful for the welcome pack, especially the homemade bread! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to escape to somewhere serene and beautiful.

Dated around 1450 this Tudor house is within walking distance to town centre, shops, post office, library and good pubs and takeaways. Popular area for walkers with Offa’s Dyke and Hergest Ridge. Hay on Wye and the Welsh coast is not too far away. The hotel in town has a spa which offers a discount to our guests. We have a pretty little courtyard garden at the back with parking for one car. It is a very characterful house with many original features but also modern comforts and a Log burner!
Beautiful well equipped self catering cottage - have tried the think of everything our guests might need!
Kington is old fashioned market town which hasn’t really changed for years. Walled Burgage paths still surround the town where herdsmen would drive their flocks to the sheep market in the Middle Ages! The Medlar is probably one of the oldest properties being one of four small houses which were originally one big medieval hall dated around 1450.
  • Extremely warm, cosy, full of character and charmingly uneven floors :) Lovely traditional fireplace, with books and DVDs galore. Intriguing African ornaments and photos.

  • Kay’s cottage was perfect for a weekend trip to Herefordshire! Great location to explore the area. It has lots of character which has been well preserved. The little garden would be perfect for breakfast in the summer but sadly not in wet November, the log burner meant for cosy warm afternoons instead, perfect! Thank you

  • The cottage is beautiful and very homely. We found it very comfortable and the lovely log burner was very easy to light and made the whole place perfect for us. Look forward to staying again.

  • The Medlar is a charming and ancient timbered town cottage, and the perfect place to explore Kington, Offa’s dyke and Hergest ridge. The house is well appointed and comfortable, with a good kitchen and a welcome wood burner in the sitting room after the autumnal weather.

  • The cottage and all its amenities are outstanding. By far the best AirBnB we have stayed in. If you don't know this spectacular area of the UK book a few nights here and go and explore, (excellent sections of Offa's Dyke). You will not be disappointed.

Mount Pleasant is set amidst 40 acres of pasture and woodland and was fully refurbished in 2009. It has been our family's home since we 'escaped to the countryside' in 2006. Instead of being an empty nest, now the children have grown and flown, the opportunity presents to share this idyllic location with others wishing to experience and explore Herefordshire, the Welsh Borders and all they have to offer.
Mount Pleasant is all one house but incorporates a self contained apartment which, by the bolting of two doors, gives one couple seclusion should they wish for it. However, with the doors open this is very much part of the main house. The apartment is comprised of a bedroom (super king memory foam bed), bathroom, lounge with small dining space and kitchenette as well as its own parking space and entrance. The rest of the house has two bedrooms prepared for guests upstairs either side of the main bathroom and a good quality sofa bed (king size) in the Snug downstairs. Also downstairs there is the main lounge, kitchen-diner, garden/boot room and downstairs WC. Additionally guests have the large garden to themselves which is mainly lawn and parking areas which should be sufficient for 4 cars.
Mount Pleasant is located in a perfect spot for exploring Herefordshire or Wales being just 3 miles from the Welsh border. The property is set in the beautiful countryside with the convenience of Kington just a mile and a half down the road with its numerous shops, cafes, pubs & takeaways. Local attractions are almost too many to mention. Immediate neighbour, although out of sight & earshot, is the Small Breeds Farm Park & Owl Centre, Hergest Ridge (of Mike Oldfield fame), Hergest Croft Garden, Offa's Dyke for walkers, picturesque Black & White Trail, Hay on Wye for all things literary, Canoeing on the Wye, Hereford Cathedral & Mappa Mundi, Herefordshire Cider making & local breweries, Leominster antique shops & my absolute favourite Elan Valley which is like having our own little Lake District! Even Aberystwyth and all the seaside towns along that stretch of the Welsh coast are only a day trip away.
  • Laila’s house was excellent. It was spotlessly clean, in a great location and was a great size for two families sharing. Would highly recommend. Shame we couldn’t have stayed for longer!

  • Laila's house is comfortable and luxurious. It has a brilliant sitting room which was perfect for us as it meant we could all 7 relax together. The kitchen and dining area is also perfect for a large group and never felt cramped. The bedrooms were all lovely, the two master bedrooms in particular were brilliant with very comfortable beds and lots of space and amenities in the room (including a toaster, kettle and mini fridge!) The surroundings were beautiful, set on a farm and surrounded by a lovely garden. Laila was helpful and thoughtful. She provided everything we could have thought of and more! I would definitely recommend Laila's House, especially for people looking for somewhere comfortable for a group of 5 - 10

  • Laila's place is excellent. It was spotlessly clean and in a beautiful country location, but still a short walk to Kington. I highly recommend
