  • We are regular visitors to Wales, especially Llandudno, and we found Catherine’s place absolutely perfect for 2 adults and 2 young children to venture into the local area. Easy to find from A55, with parking on a quiet road, we felt very safe and secure, and Catherine was very quick to respond to a couple of queries; we will 100% come back to stay!

  • We had two nights at Rose Cottage, to be honest it wasn’t long enough, the cottage was for us great , a really good location with a brilliant beach for Bette ( dog 🤷🏼‍♀️) to enjoy , ( yes we did to ! ) Colwyn Bay was very clean and tidy , everyone we met was more than helpful, we went to Colwyn for a wander , Bodnant gardens N. T. were truly spectacular, we saw seals feeding their pups on the beach not far from the cottage , incredible, we intend to return as the time flew by and the area has so much to offer.. Julian was a great host full really useful tips where to go /see the cottage is very good value , I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay here .. thanks Julian & Jess

This property is perfectly located in the village of Glan Conwy, North Wales, which has breathtaking views of Conwy estuary. Number 37 is close to the castle town of Conwy, the seaside resort of Llandudno and beautiful Betws-Y-Coed. Whether you want a relaxing break or an action packed adventure, this property is perfect. With Surf Snowdonia, Zip World, Conwy Castle, and Snowdonia National Park on your doorstep you will never be bored!
Number 37 is a small, quirky house in the peaceful village of Glan Conwy. We have all that you need to make your stay comfortable. Just a 2 minute walk from the accommodation is a small shop, cafe, and local pub. There is a great selection of good restaurants and bars in nearby towns. The transport links from Glan Conwy are great, with the train station and bus stop being just at the bottom of the road. We have recently started another Airbnb (Number 41) which is very similar, just across the path from Number 37. So if you fancy a break with friends or family but still want your own space, Number 41 may also be perfect for you.
Number 37 is tucked away down a small path. There are other houses close by, however the property offers a peaceful break. The patio doors from the living area looks out into the garden. The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and safe. Please be respectful to the neighbours and only use the hot tub between the hours of 10am-10pm.
  • I took my girlfriend as a beautiful gift, we had an amazing time, the house is very clean, very stylish and has everything you need. You are very close to many beautiful walks and coming to the near by castle is a must. The host made sure we had a perfect time and did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed our time. We’ll defiantly be back and I can’t recommend this beautiful house enough! Bellissima! 👌🏼👌🏼

    Roberto 2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Idyllic stay away from the busy city topped off with a private hot tub 😍

    Samantha2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Number 37 was an impeccably clean, cosy space. The location was perfect, a great base to get around and explore. The hot tub was particularly appreciated!

    Rebecca2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • The house is really nice, quiet and well placed. We were just after a short night away but could easily have stayed for days and days. The hot tub is a winner too! On a separate note, the house is immaculately clean... so clean in fact it is noticeable compared to other places I have stayed. Given the current climate this was really important to us and was something we were grateful for. If this is how the house is always kept, then don’t change anything!

    Ben2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Number 37! Becky was responsive and thought of everything to make make us feel welcome and at home. The house was spotless and the hot tub was a real treat. Would definitely recommend!

  • A lovely place to stay and great small touches . The hot tub was a great addition as well as Netflix for those rainy, cold evenings! The dogs loved to roam in the garden to! Becky was a great host and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a break.

  • Great property would recommend :-)

    Jake2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We were looking for a peaceful break to the countryside and the cottage fitted the bill perfectly. Hidden down a quiet lane, our soundtrack for the weekend was the lambs, the river and the occasional tractor - just what we needed.

    Josh2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. Perfect location to explore North Wales. We will definitely be back when it’s a little warmer so we can explore more of this amazing place as this time we weren’t so lucky with the weather! The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Natalie was a great host too. Thanks so much!

    Lauren2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent place to stay. Clean, comfortable, good facilities, a peaceful and pretty setting, but still close to main roads and facilities of nearby towns of Glan Conwy, Conwy and Llandudno. It was dog-friendly (though we had no dog) as well. It had good parking, though a little difficult to find first time at night as a bit off the beaten track, was relatively easy to find otherwise in the day. The only thing it didn’t have was wi-fi, a blessing for us, but maybe not for others. A very good host, who gave us our space and freedom.

    Sean2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic little break, great host. The location is brilliant and the accommodation has more than you could need. Great value for money I thought as the property was superb in every way. May one day return. Thank you!

  • Lovely quiet location perfect to escape the world and relax.

  • The photos on the website do not truly reflect this lovely spacious property. The house is well equipped especially the large kitchen. The lounge is large but homely. A group of five, we all loved this house and would recommend it. The area is a bit hilly a consideration if you an to leave your car parked.

    Daniel2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning property with fantastic views and great location to explore North Wales and Snowdonia national park. We stayed over Christmas and the house was wonderful. Kathi was a very attentive host, checking everything was ok, she even brought a baby lamb to meet the children. We appreciated there being a Christmas tree for the children to open presents under Christmas morning. A beautiful rural feel and we had a wonderful Christmas. Thank you.

The Old Rectory is a spacious home that features hardwood chevron floors and open spaces lit by beautiful chandeliers. Watch a film in the 3D movie room, wander the beautiful grounds outside. The garden has an infinity effect with direct panoramic views over the estuary, mountains and even the castle direct from the garden and many of the bedrooms. No photograph can capture this. With 8 bedrooms and enough space to sleep up to 24 you can enjoy special occasions all together and even eat together for that special occasion in the 24 seated dining room with antique carved oak table and chairs.
Beautiful accommodation with fine furnishing and yet is homely and welcoming. The Old Rectory sits in a unique and beautiful setting.
Beyond the breath-taking panoramic views over Conwy Estuary and Conwy Castle, the home's location makes it easy to explore North Wales. Go zip-lining and dry slope skiing before taking the steam railway to family beaches and hiking trails.
  • Lovely stay with a wonderful host for our 30th birthday celebrations. Beautiful surrounds!

    Kate2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Carolines property is not only beautiful, its made more perfect because Caroline is such an excellent host. From preparing the house for our arrival, she went out of her way to help / advise us. We had so many questions for her and she was always so helpful and replied almost immediately every time. She also saved us, due to a chef pulling out at the last minute, she gave us her contacts and we found someone who was happy to cater for us as they had such a good relationship with Caroline. Would love to go back one day .

    Sandy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay celebrating New Year at The Old Rectory. Caroline had made such an effort with lovely Christmas decorations and our stay was faultless from check in to check out. Great communication, would stay again!

  • This property was brilliant and we all as a family thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the weekend.

    Elin2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This house is absolutely gorgeous, the decoration, the finishing touches, the attention to detail, the views. It is the most ideal venue for a gathering with friends and family. You will not be dissappointed. Thank you to Caroline too who is a superb host.

    Tracy2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful house-comfortable, clean and spacious. Amazing views from the garden and hot tub. A perfect home for large family gatherings - Caroline has thought of everything families might need. A great location from which to explore North Wales.

    Ruth2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • As you reach the top of the driveway your breath is literally taken away as you can then fully appreciate the stunning location, set amongst manicured gardens, and a view "to die for" across the estuary. But then you venture inside..and the wow factor increases. Large spacious rooms , a home from home feel, and the feeling gets better and better. Nothing is too much trouble for Caroline. Her attention to detail is without par..fluffy bathrobes and slippers for one and all, a welcome box of goodies, and you immediately know your stay is going to be extra special..and ours was ! Caroline is an extra special host...don't even think twice..book now !

    David2019-07-18T00:00:00Z

This light and airy one bedroomed apartment is situated on the top floor of an Edwardian three storey townhouse in residential Craig y Don, a few minutes’ walk from the North Shore promenade and a 15/20 minute walk, or short bus ride, into the town centre. The apartment is suitable for single travellers, couples, and those who need a quiet space for work or a convenient base to explore the magnificent scenery and majestic castles of this diverse region.
  • A lovely self contained flat which is ideal for a single traveller or a couple. It is close to the sea and the theatre and Carolyn was very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay again if I get the opportunity.

  • I’ve always been hesitant to stay at Airbnb’s that are inside people’s homes but our hosts were so lovely it was a pleasure to bump into them in the hallway occasionally and the apartment itself is extremely private. Very clean space in a location very close to the promenade. Lots of useful shops and excellent takeaways nearby. The extra thoughtful touches of tea/coffee/milk/cereal/shampoo etc and NowTV box were wonderful added bonuses. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  • Wow! The pictures do not do this place justice, if you are looking for a little break from normality then this is spot! The stormy weather lead us to stay in and cook making the most of the entertainment room. We were well looked after and felt completely comfortable in Nicky and Dan’s presence. A huge thank you and highly recommended Airbnb.

  • Very grateful for a perfect stay with Nicky and Dan. Their hospitality was very generous, the home was very warm and very homely. I’m only sorry we couldn’t be more present to drinks and cards after a long week of walking. I would come and stay longer again, the whole chapel/house is so full of colour and texture, plants and nooks, it is such an enviable place to live, of the sort I will hope to slowly build over the rest of my life ~ a dense gallery of accumulated beautiful objects handcrafted with designed attention to the play of restored stained glass in timber panels and earthenware hoards on tapestries on warm slate. To architects, I offer the complete whole is as a detailed illustration of all I have enjoyed in Christopher Alexander’s Pattern Language / Timeless Way of Building. Thanks for the directions down the Fairie Glen ~ a gorgeous cut thorugh. Also, James and Dewey, the cats are rich addition to the comprehensive chorus of friendly welcome. Glad to have had the chance to explore the North Wales coastal path from here ~ a great location. We can very highly recommend Haus in Colwyn Bay ~ serving Neighbourhood coffee, and a walk up around Little Orme to Llandudno where Barnacles Fish&Chips is the best curry sauce I’ve ever had.

Their welcome is second to none and the flat is very well equipped, very clean and warm. We have stayed in various accommodation venues in Llandudno before (hotels, b&bs and Airbnb) but the Queen’s corner has now become our favourite place to which we will look forward to returning and feeling at home!

  • This is a great place to stay, very clean and comfortable with lovely welcoming hosts. I had my own double bed in my bedroom with plenty of space to put my things and I shared the bathroom/kitchen with the other people in the building. The property is really well located in Colwyn Bay, only a 5 minute walk from the train station - there’s the main shopping centre nearby as well as plenty of cafes and restaurants for you to eat at. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should I come back to Colwyn, great value for money!

Well equipped kitchen clean and spacious accommodation and open fire if you wanted to set it alight. Great hot tub to relax in after a hard days MTB riding or hiking. Relaxing stay virtually no noise at night to be heard. Communication with Yousef in the run up to our stay 1st class prompt replies and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view of Gwrych Castle, 15 mins walk to the sea, within 40 mins drive you are in Snowdonia National Park. Bus stop 2 mins walk away. Station just under a mile away. Tesco supermarket is at the back of the house. There is ample storage space and a comfortable double bed. It is up 2 sets of steepish stairs so be warned. Bathroom shared with guests in other Airbnb room, and we use the shower Dogs and children welcome but neither to be left unsupervised at any time :)
The room is on the top floor of our lovely three floor red brick Victorian terraced house. From the room there are clear views of Gwrych Castle and also just to the right one can just see the sea. Though be warned the stairs are steep as the ceilings are high. We also rent another room on this floor which has a small double bed and a single bed and can be found on https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/15441095?guests=1&s=fcT_NZ5J The bathroom is on that floor. We do use the shower most mornings but otherwise it is just for guests. The beach is just 15-20 mins walk away, the castle a similar distance. Abergele&Pensarn station is just 15 mins walk and the A55 is only 3 mins drive. If it works around our schedule then we are happy to pick up from the station. There are generally taxis at the station For those coming by car there is safe on-street parking in Eldon Drive which is directly opposite the house
We are in an ideal location for exploring both the North Wales coast and Snowdonia as well as being a good place to take a rest before rushing to the ferry to travel to Ireland. We are close to Surf Snowdonia and other attractions. Abergele itself is a quirky place, a mix of Victorian seaside down at Pensarn, only 15 minutes walk away, and small town of Abergele itself. It is like going back in time. The pace is slower, people friendly and always time to chat. There is no cafe culture in Abergele but it is warm friendly and safe.

We are just behind the coast of North Wales, within easy driving distance of the fabulous castles of North Wales, Snowdon, Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula. Also within walking distance of the nearest pub! Here are peace and quiet in tranquil surroundings, sheep and chickens. The rooms to let are up a steep staircase with nine stairs and the bathroom is on the ground floor. We are not a self-catering option, but tea and coffee making facilities are available.
You'll be staying in part of an old Welsh farmhouse for bed and breakfast. There are two small bedrooms available to rent; one with a double bed and one with two single beds. We welcome families. You have access to the kitchen for making drinks. Breakfast details are given below. There's a field and stream for exploring, a garden and an old orchard. You can also visit the Holy Well of St Elian here; once one of the most famous holy wells in Wales, where people came to ask for whatever they wanted; good and bad! Known as 'The Cursing Well' for many years, it has a fascinating and complicated history.
The White Lion public house in Llanelian is a very short drive and a 15 minute walk away where Nina and Simon will welcome you to our local with a meal, a drink and evenings of music and quizzing. We are in the middle of the most beautiful countryside, with great walks, a swimming pool down the road in Colwyn Bay, and the sea just over the hill, again a (longish) walk away.
  • Wonderfully authentic welsh farm house and charming host. Very rural setting, yet so close to the town, offering the the benefits of both convenience and a tranquil retreat. Spectacular views and home comforts. Highly recommended

  • We absolutely loved our stay at Jane's house, which is a very characterful historical building in a farmstead. It is very close to most attractions in North Wales. She was an amazing host, and opened up her house to us, with lots of tips about how to make the most of our short time in the area. Definitely worth the money, would probably love to return some day too!

    Ameek2019-09-29T00:00:00Z

  • A great welsh farmhouse and Jane was a great host, friendly and helpful with sight seeing tips and information.

  • The cottage was perfect for us - in a beautiful spot; very homely and Jane was a very accommodating host. Although the kitchen and living room were shared, we were made to feel we could use them without intruding. Short walk to the White Lion Inn in Llanelian, with great atmosphere and award-winning food. The surrounding area here was great for walking; we didn't come across many paths off-road but the roads to the south were mainly traffic-free.

    David2019-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jane's home is so lovely and we are so glad we had the chance to visit! The accommodations are comfortable, clean, and full of character. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and local tips, especially the explanation of the holy well on her property. Jane's friendly welcome and conversation was a treat for us on a long driving journey. The location is not far from a main road and Colwyn Bay, but make sure you follow her directions on how to get there. Its only a short drive to Isle of Anglesey, Snowdonia, Conwy, and more.

    Erin2019-09-04T00:00:00Z

Open plan living area with comfy seating, log burner and a fully equipped kitchen/dining area, perfect for relaxing during your stay. The master bedroom enjoys spectacular views and has a Superking bed that can also be split into singles. The second bedroom to the rear of the cottage is a lovely cosy room with a double bed. The modern bathroom features a "Rainfall" shower over the bath.
We recently purchased the cottage and have been working hard to get it ready. The cottage has parking for 2 cars which is best accessed by reversing down the hillside via a narrow lane. For those not confident there is free (unreserved) parking within 100m. Please note the hill down to the cottage is quite steep
The cottage is in an elevated position in the semi-rural village of Penrhynside with 2 pubs within 200m, and easy access to lots of walks. Within close proximity are the shops, supermarket and other amenities of Penrhyn Bay and the popular Victorian resort of Llandudno with its many attractions is 2 miles away Perfectly located to explore North Wales, including Castles, the scenery, beaches and picturesque villages of Snowdonia and Anglesey, and for adventurous guests there are outdoor pursuits and thrill seeking activities at Zipworld, Adventure Parc Snowdonia, Bounce Below, Water Sports, Mountain Biking and hiking.

Although modernised in places, it still retains its character. Please help yourselves to the light breakfast provided. You can also use the kitchen to make your own. In the evening the kitchen is available to cook/ heat up a meal. Tea/ coffee always available. Relax in the garden or conservatory - no light pollution whatsoever. With our directions (and permission) go for a walk up the fields to see Snowdonia and look down on Conwy.
Ty Newydd is a working farm - during lambing no wandering into fields to catch lambs! With permission, you may walk up the fields to see more of the wonderful views.
  • A superb country retreat from which to explore the North Wales coast and beyond. Glenys was an excellent host who communicated clearly and quickly and almost, "knew before we asked" what we needed to know - comes with experience and being a consistently great host I say! :) Access to Glenys' place is up a short and rough track, we had no issues in our Astra but be prepared for a slightly bumpy ride. You may be aware that this year has seen almost unprecedented gales and rainfall. Staying in Glenys home during one of these we quickly appreciated the solidity, cosiness and warmth of the stone built farmhouse! Thank you Glenys. Best wishes for the future. Mark & J.

  • What a great place to stay to relax and access the coats and mountains. We loved the space, with cosy dining room and piano and conservatory with lovely garden. All communication was spot on and Glenys worked hard to prepare for our stay as she was away but her brother was very helpful. Great to have breakfast foods and we appreciated the kitchen facilities also. Diolch!

  • Glenys’s abode was the best thing. Location, cleanliness and amenities were top. Glenys is a super super host. Gives you the most homely feeling that you can expect. She’s been kind to offer all this at a very reasonable price as-well. Brilliant stay and very much recommend.

  • Glenys' house and garden was both beautiful and exceptionally clean. She was welcoming from the start and ensured that my daughter and I felt totally at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Glenys' house.

  • Lovely house in a great location for exploring the North Wales coastline. We would recommend the local pub, great food and atmosphere! Glenys was a fantastic host, very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • A charming and cosy cottage in a secluded spot overlooking fields and coast. Great place to get away and unwind, but still with easy access to local amenities and attractions. Very helpful and welcoming host. Lovely garden to sit out in, or comfortable conservatory for when it rains.

  • We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. A lovely quiet and peaceful location. All the facilities we expected. A friendly, helpful and attentive host (plus extended family). Convenient for a wide variety of active or relaxing activities. Our first Airbnb experience and we highly recommend a stay with Glenys.

Stunning contemporary conversion within a 135 year old house. Set in 3 acres of woodland garden with a private patio and lawn area, separate entrance and garden views all around. The property has original stained glass windows and an open, working fireplace (free kindling and logs provided). The space is set up for single travellers, couples or families - we can be flexible to your needs. The bedroom has zip and link beds and duvets. We have a high chair and children’s toys available.
This is a lovely place convenient for the beach and Snowdonia. It is incredibly peaceful despite being only 5 minutes from the A55 and mainline train station.
This part of Colwyn Bay is the perfect combination of countryside, easy access to the beach and Snowdonia but close to a thriving and quirky town. Colwyn Bay is enjoying a renaissance and new, independent business are establishing themselves here. Within 5-10 minutes there are a Lidl, Aldi and Morrisons. There are specialist cheesemongers, butchers, wine shops and real ale pubs in the area. There are wine and cocktail bars and several cafes offering a wide choice of meals. On the last Saturday of each month there is a popular comedy night in walking distance from the property. From the Garden Suite you can walk through Pwllycrochan Woods, or down to Eirias Park where there is a 25m swimming pool, tennis centre and rugby stadium (which also hosts concerts).
  • Amazing place. Perfect location and huge space indoor and outside.

  • We had a fantastic time staying here! Such friendly hosts who had gone to so much effort to make us feel at home during our stay. The place was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean and newly decorated, with an extremely comfy bed, fantastic shower and great kitchen facilities. It was also a brilliant base from which to explore North Wales. We would come back in a heartbeat!

How cool is the Treehouse! This is an ultra-modern, steel and timber extension to a historic Art Deco-style country house. The home has been created to make the most of wonderful views. Sit and enjoy an evening drink while the sun sets over the Conwy estuary and sinks behind Conwy castle and the mountains beyond. If the weather’s a little better you can explore the owner’s beautiful gardens and some interesting artistic artefacts too. An artist who spent a year here created a hand-painted mural near the house featuring animals and birds the artist saw visiting the gardens during their stay. This memorable bolthole makes clever use of every inch of space, so although there is no bedroom the sofa easily converts to an oh-so-comfortable double bed. The kitchen area is brilliantly concealed in a cupboard and comes with all the equipment you need to cook a nice evening meal. That’s if you ever dine in - there are so many wonderful places to eat out nearby. If you do spend the evening in you’ll be able to enjoy the full package of programmes available on Sky TV. Located just outside the estuarial village of Glan Conwy, The Treehouse is within easy driving distance of Llandudno, Queen of Welsh Resorts, the UNESCO world heritage site of Conwy and even closer to Bodnant Gardens, its wonderful Welsh Food Centre, and many country lane strolls. Bedrooms: There is no dedicated bedroom as such but a very comfy and easy to use sofa that can be turned into a double bed. Bathrooms: One bathroom with loo, sink, and bath with shower and screen. Kitchen: The kitchen is actually a cupboard but all is there in small but perfect form! Oven / microwave, fridge, electric hob, toaster and kettle. Sitting Room: Comfy seating for all guests, TV, DVD. Dining: There is a small table and chairs in the sitting room Garden: A gorgeous garden with ponds, and little private places to sit and read. The RSPB bird sanctuary is just a few minutes flight away and some of the birds love a good day trip to the garden at St Francis’ Grange. Heating: The Treehouse is heated by central heating. Parking: There is off road parking in a private parking area close to the house. Amenities: Bed Linen Towels, Terrace, heating, Free Wireless Internet, Pets are welcome, Free cot on request, Free Parking; Living room: double sofa bed; Bathroom

  • Beautiful place, the views and the gardens are gorgeous. The room had everything we needed plus some nice little touches. The owners are a lovely couple and are really helpful. Recommended.

  • Good location with fab views. Very clean, just be prepared to climb quite a few stairs, and bring earplugs, unfortunately the seagulls are very loud very early but that will be the same anywhere in the area! Pretty child friendly minus the steps but there is a stair gate. We'd go back.
