Even though it was short we had a great stay! Bonnie (and the doggos) were very welcoming, and had great suggestions for things to do in Athens. The surrounding area and house itself were beautiful and serene. Incredible value for what you pay!

Bonnie has been a wonderful host to me over the past few weekends. Even during uncertain times with a virus pandemic brewing, Bonnie was communicative and willing to work with me to figure out the best course of action for my stay! I would absolutely return again! :)

Bonnie and Robert were wonderfully kind and attentive whenever we needed anything. Their home is beautiful! They made us (my 2 kids and I) feel comfortable enough to cook in their beautiful kitchen. Their dogs and cat were an extra special treat for us . They were so sweet. I wish we had more time to explore the trails in their neighborhood. Bonnie made great suggestions.for activities and dining. Lovely place and couple.

Robert’s place is clean, stylish and affordable. I was a huge fan of the aesthetic of the cottage and it was a great location for where I needed to go in Athens. Would highly recommend to any travelers!

We had a wonderful time - this place was quaint, quiet, and still close to everything we wanted to do in Athens. The place is a cottage house - and just right for two people - would be a bit tight for four (but totally doable!) We loved our time, the hosts tips, and this lovely weekend getaway.

Privacy. When I think of Robert's place, that is the first thing that comes to mind. Privacy is a rare commodity in Athens. In fact, it has become a luxury. When staying here, you may or may not be at the center of the Athens universe, but you are pretty doggone close. Opinions are like noses--everybody has one. So--we had a good time and all our lodging needs were met. What more can one ask? Thanks Robert and Cali, and thank you for working with us on our arrival time. Very nice.

Good, clean little cottage in a convenient location. Free coffee and streaming services were a nice touch. Concrete floor threw us off a little bit, but it wasn't a real issue - just pack socks or slippers.

I have stayed in a lot of really nice homes using Airbnb, but this one is my new favorite. Located in a quiet, peaceful and lovely neighborhood only 15 minutes from downtown Athens, this mid-century modern ranch is a wonderful place to stay. All the great amenities, including fruit and other snacks, drinks, coffee, tea, and personal hygiene items, were very much appreciated. The house is so cozy and comfortable. I especially love the big picture window in the living room where we were able to watch birds, chipmunks, and squirrels frolicking outside. We even saw deer! And the view of the water across the street was a bonus! Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and the bedding is so soft and comfortable! Clear instructions for how to use everything alleviated any stress over figuring things out. What a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

This is a great little place, nestled in a quiet corner of Athens. William has set up a nice coffee/tea bar that was really convenient in the mornings. There is also a fridge with waters and sparkling waters that we appreciated. Overall a cute, comfortable, convenient space.

Easy access to main thoroughfares and downtown without being in a loud or busy area. Love the roommate style floorplan for traveling with friends.

I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our time in Athens, everything was exactly what we needed! Very convenient location, clean & overall a very nice place to hang out. Everything was as described, 10/10 I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at Zanes. The condo was comfy, clean, and quiet. We were close to the University and downtown Athens.

I'll try to keep this brief but I just loved this place so much! Before I even talk about how much I love the space itself, I should brag on Laura & Jesse. So sweet, so kind, so inviting and SO THOROUGH. Anything in the camper that we were unsure of, we referred to a handbook provided inside the space. Even with the handbook on deck, Laura & Jesse made sure we knew that they were happy and ready to help us with anything at all. The handbook was so thorough and helpful. There were also snacks/beverages/local tips available which were amazing. I kept wishing I was staying longer. (I will definitely be back!) The camper is adorable and even better than I imagined. The perfect amount of space for 1-2 people and the kitchen/bathroom/living space provided inside of the main house was great too. It rained the night we stayed and the rain hitting the roof was so peaceful and lovely to fall asleep to. I will say we heard a train and a few sirens through the night. That doesn't bother me at all, but if anyone is ultra sensitive to noise at night - keep that in mind when booking and just bring some ear plugs or something. I felt extremely safe in Athens in general, but especially in this neighborhood. We walked to get dinner! Okay, I'm gonna wrap it up BUT just do yourself a favor and book this adorably amazing camper. I've had some iffy airbnb stays and wasn't sure if I would ever do it again, but I'm so glad I did. THIS is how an airbnb experience should be.

Stayed at this property a few days a week for several months- always clean- close to good restaurants- owners are very responsive-definitely recommend this place! If I have a need for an Airbnb in town in the future I will be staying here!

Lee and Amy's cabin was one of the most unique Airbnb experiences I’ve had. Totally relaxing and fun. Not one, but two great porches for relaxing in a gorgeous country woods environment, and a quiet, comfortable, and thoughtful interior perfectly suited to talking, reading, enjoying mugs of coffee, and sleeping soundly. We landed in the rocking chairs first thing, and were reluctant to leave. We were so close to immediately calling and booking every open minute through the rest of the week......but, responsibilities. Can’t wait to plan a return trip.

This place is a hidden gem! Lee and Amy were incredible hosts. The cabin was like walking into a time machine! We had a blast exploring the property and fishing both the pond and river! Thanks for an awesome time!

This is a jewel of a place! Such a quaint old cabin in the country. We loved just sitting in the rocking chairs or going for a nice walk on the property. Our son loved canoeing on the river and running in all the open fields! Amenities are basic but everything still works well. The woodburning fireplace was very helpful on the chilly nights. We really loved it and want to come back as soon as we can.

Wow, what a wonderful getaway from the city. Sitting on the porch at the cabin as the sun went down is a cherished memory, their lights made the ambiance perfect. Cannot recommend this cute spot enough.

I had saved this cabin on Airbnb for years and finally got to stay here. It’s just as charming in person. The cabin is filled with antique and country charm both inside and outside. It’s a lovely and comfortable place and I can see that a lot of effort has gone into making it so special. I would definitely stay again.

The cabin was beautiful and lee and Amy were outstanding. They had everything we needed even a few extras like coffee and creamer, the cabin was rustic and each time I turned there was another small detail that I was shocked by. The hiking trail to the pond and lake was beautiful.

Emily’s place was super nice, it was literally walking distance to the Athen’s square. She did a great job of replying quickly and helping us out. Super host! 💅🏼

Emily’s place is wonderful. Our office came to Athens to work during the COVID-19 outbreak and had a very difficult time finding accommodations. Emily was flexible, helpful, and considerate of our situation. The place itself was stylish, clean, and very spacious. Absolutely would book again.

We stay in this tiny home monthly as we travel to Athens for medical appts. It is by far my favorite place to stay. The fire pit, hammock, outdoor deck are all so wonderful during Spring!! The hosts are amazing and always go above and beyond! A must stay place ❤️

The Tiny Nature Home was adorable! It was surprisingly spacious and clean. About 5-10 minutes from gas and groceries, 15 minutes from downtown Athens. A definite must-stay!

You will love this cute home!! It has everything you need. It was easy to find, and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked in.

John's place was just like it was described and shown in the pictures. The location was perfect. It was a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown and the UGA campus. I especially enjoyed the new construction and a very comfortable king size bed. It was easy to come and go. Being able to park park directly in front of the entrance was super convenient. As has been mentioned in an earlier review, we could hear the footsteps above us but it was only during the early evening. Otherwise it was quiet and so there was no disruption to sleep. I would stay here again during the next visit to Athens. Communication was superb. I asked John a number of questions about Athens and he was quick to respond.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location was very convenient and the space was very clean as well as modern. The bed was comfortable and we loved the fact there was a ceiling fan in the room. This always goes a long way with us. My wife maker instead one of coffee makers. It was a great benefit to be able to park in the drive. That made loading and unloading the car so much easier. We have relatives that live in the area so we certainly look forward to staying here again!

Hannah’s Place was wonderful! I actually live in Athens, but needed a place to spend a couple nights while my house was being renovated. It is located in a great neighborhood! It feels quiet and removed, but is so close to dining options, downtown, and the university. I was so impressed with how stylish this space was. It was so homey and Hannah thought of everything that I might need. She was super quick at responding and so helpful during our stay. I HIGHLY recommend this place. You will love it!

Hannah's place is an extraordinary spot to call home for an evening. From its stylish vibe to its warm hospitality and smart technology, Hannah has thought of everything. The bed is SO comfortable, the room is cool and inviting and her emergency backup kit of anything-you-could-possibly-have-forgotten is unparalleled. My three favorite things: 1) Motion-sensor lights that kept me from fumbling with light switches - yay! 2) The power strip by the bed, that also had USB ports in it. Yes, yes, yes! 3) The coffee nook, completely with Kate Spade coffee mugs for my morning joe. LOVE. With hospitality to rival the Ritz, you'll love this little spot in Athens. Is there a six-star rating?

Hanna is such a thoughtful host !! Personalized welcome notes were sweet. The supplies on the back of the door is genius! Anything you may have forgotten she has it all and if she doesn’t she will get it! I had a package mailed to the Airbnb and she didn’t mind my bag was lost at the airport and she offered to help if she could . Invited me to hang out if I wanted .i will always stay at Hannas when I go to Athens,Georgia; her house is easy to find and close to everything ! My first Airbnb experience and it was perfect!!!!

I hate to tell y'all how lovely and well-appointed this space is because I want it to be available every time I need it. It's sparkling clean, very comfortable and has every thoughtful amenity you can think of and then some! I love all the local touches (artwork, UGA beer coozies, etc.) and including the shops where we could find the art ourselves was a neat touch - I love the postcards. Checking in and out was easy and Dorothy was responsive and friendly. The location is easy to find... a little tucked away, but I love that about it, and the walk down to the river was perfect for walking our dog. Overall, what a wonderful gem of a place and an amazing value!

Great host, Gwyneth booked us and confirmed us in minutes and was a Godsend because of an earlier booking fell through. We were also pleasantly surprised to have a high chair, pack-n-play and portable crib along with children’s videos and a Roku provided. Clean and cozy and convenient to the Downtown area. Art filled townhouse really close to downtown and UGA. The place is private and cozy. Master bed has FIRM memory foam mattress which is not my favorite but would stay here again. Responsive hosts.

Excellent place to stay, location is secluded and still close enough to town to be convenient. Our hosts were excellent and very accommodating for me having my 5 year old daughter with me. 8 must also say that she loved staying here as well.

Super clean rooms! The beds were very comfortable and we loved the charm of the old farmhouse. We liked not having to go through the living space of the owners to get to the rental. Reasonably priced and perfect location if you don't like staying in the city! The only negative is it is a second floor rental in which you have to climb stairs, which didn't bother us. We would definitely stay again! Possibly our best stay yet with an AirBNB rental.

Gabby and Eric’s place was awesome! We loved their beautiful historic farm house. It was very nicely decorated and the beds were some of the most comfortable ever. The area was peaceful and offered great eating options only 15 minutes away. Highly recommend this place.

What a treat! Samuel’s place is like a page from your Pinterest board. In addition to being spotlessly clean, the house is stylish and homey, with special touches like a record player and espresso machine. There was even local beer in the fridge upon my arrival! The bed was super comfy, the shower pressure was great, there was Netflix and HBO... I can’t say enough great things about my stay. It was also walking distance to Creature Comforts Brewery and The Grit - two of my favorite spots in Athens - so the location couldn’t be beat. If you like to be active, it’s also not far from the North Oconee River greenway - great for a run!

Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, as well as things we didn’t NEED but certainly appreciated (fresh pastries on arrival, a record player, that nice soap you always see at Target but never buy because it’s just a little too expensive, etc.) We would absolutely stay here again.

What a cool place! Perfect for 2. The architectural design is just neat. The lovely touches from beer in the fridge to a fresh filtered pitcher of water were perfect. The bed is comfortable and the linens amazing! Everything was super clean and at night it was super quiet! We checked out Sea Bear on the owner’s recommendation and it was also amazing. Great location—walkable to downtown; just down from Creature Comforts. Can’t wait to go back and stay again!

One will not find a better value for their money than Richard’s home. Richard was respectful, kind, and helpful. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Our beds were comfortable, and Richard did everything he could to make our stay the best we could have asked for. I highly recommend Richard’s home to absolutely anyone.

Richards place is sparkling clean and the beds are really comfortable. I love the sound of the river in the backyard and wish I could have spent more time just relaxing in the garden.

Very hospitable place

From the little bit of time that my Mom and I spent at Richard's place, he came across as a knowledgeable, creative and respectable man. We only spent one night at his place and it was clean and comfortable. We talked Italian culture and motorcycles a little bit and it was fun. Definitely recommend!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Richard's place. We loved our room looking out onto the river, the peaceful home and comfortable beds. An ideal place for a quiet time away from home. Richard is a very welcoming and warm host. He gave wonderful suggestions for places to visit and had great life stories. We enjoyed talking to him while we had our morning tea and would definitely come back!

We loved it!! Fantastic rental within walking distance to 5 points. Creatively decorated and thoughtfully supplied. Wonderful deck overlooking a quaint garden, that our doggies absolutely enjoyed. The detached building and rear facing door provides plenty of privacy. Quick communication from the hosts. Highly Recommended!!

Great little place in convenient location!

Ande's place was really convenient to Five Points, with great amenities (TV, WiFi, kitchen) and privacy. We brought our dogs, and it was a great/easy set up for them.

Great place truly close to all places to walk in five points. The place has everything you need from cable to kitchen. Perfect for 1-2 people visiting five points, the university or downtown.

Bonnie and Robert have a beautiful home that is a wonderful reflection of their shining personality and spirit. We shared great conversation and felt very comfortable in their comfortable room. Their hospitality is top notch!

Great location and comfortable bed. Plenty of space in closets and dressers. Loved being able to come and go when I needed and use of the kitchen to microwave and clean my dish. Private bathroom was great right across the bedroom in Murphy 1. Huge backyard and porch to relax evenings watching the sunset. Thank you for a great stay!

This was perfect for my need! The bedroom was so cozy and I slept great! I felt very welcome by the home owner. Everything was neat and clean. The price was what a an air bnb should be and not what a hotel costs or more like some of the others on here.

We have stayed here before and as usual we loved it. Bonnie is a great host who takes care of her guests. She is friendly and informative. On our down day she helped us get involved with a local group playing Pickleball. We’ll definitely come back.

April is the prime example of a perfect host. Not only was she very fast with responding, she was extremely nice and considerate. Her house is super cute, decorated perfectly and very cozy not to mention the comfy bed. April also gave me a bunch of ideas for restaurants, bars, and things to do in the area. If you’re looking for a place to comfortably rest your head within minutes of downtown Athens, this is the place to pick. The cottage is super clean and has beautiful little touches to make it an amazing home away from home. You can not beat the price point for what you’re getting! If I could rate six stars I would. We were a few minutes drive from everything and the neighborhood was very quiet! Will definitely be staying here again. Well done April!

The host was very helpful and detailed about everything, my stay went well. I stayed because my trip out of the country was cancelled so we decided to stay home in Athens. The only complaint I can say is that the house is a little dated but it’s cute. Could use more cleaning supplies we couldn’t find any or trash bags when were trying to clean up checking out, but i guess that’s where the cleaning fees come in that we paid for. Overall excellent!

Michelle and Marcus were awesome Air BNB hosts, as they exceeded my expectations. They are very welcoming and quick to respond to any accommodations that I had. The place itself is very beautiful and offers everything you need. The place can be very relaxing and has a little patio area to enjoy the outdoors. If I am ever in Athens again, I will not hesitate to come back and stay here.

A hidden treasure!

A spectacular and comfortable stay. The host, Michelle, was very helpful and responsive and offered us Christmas cookies. The kitchen and bedroom was well stocked, and I would recommend this place to any other fellow travellers.

We stayed at Michelle’s place visiting family over Thanksgiving, and it was absolutely perfect. The outdoor garden area is lovely, and the studio is welcoming and cozy. The kitchen was completely functional, and there were many touches of hospitality. A lovely place!

Michelle is an amazing! The Oasis Suite is just that: an oasis! The back garden area is stunning (especially in the fall). The suite is spacious, clean, and is exactly as advertised. Snacks, water, tv, and an incredibly comfortable bed are all part of the package. With the fun and food or downtown Athens just minutes away, Michelle’s suite should be at the top of your list!

I had an amazing stay and enjoyed every bit of it! Amazing hospitality and a spotless room made everything so much better, especially in uncertain times.

I stayed for two nights and the hosts did very well to make check in easy and the space feel like a home away from home! Everything was spotless! Communication was almost instant and I got some great tips on where to eat around town. I will definitely stay again!

This location was perfect for my visit. It was in a quiet neighborhood very close to my daughter and son. The space was a wonderful alternative to a hotel. Thank you for your hospitality and lovely added touches to make us feel welcome and at home.

Ann’s hospitality is over the top! The kitchen was stocked with breakfast; bagels, OJ, cereal (and Gatorade which definitely comes in handy!) and so many other snacks as well! The space is cozy and private and checking in an out was a breeze.

Could not be happier about our recent stay in Athens! We lucked out that she was right around the corner from an event we were attending in the area. Her place is very clean and she provided all the necessities and then some. There were even toys for the kids to play with which won major points with our littles. The area is very quiet and we had full, private access to the area we stayed in. She even has a bookshelf stocked with tons of information about the area and was available to make personalized suggestions throughout our visit. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that the value can not be overstated. Will stay again!

We arrived to find a handwritten thank you note from Kathy with chocolates, that was so nice! We came to Athens to attend a UGA basketball game and the house is about 15 minutes from campus. The snacks she left for us were great, we enjoyed the pool table, the full size bed was comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet and we would love to stay here again! This is our favorite Airbnb now!
