Our cosy modern 2 bedroom apartment is located at the back of my house. Surrounded by fabulous views, private and quiet. Private parking. Only 2 minutes drive from the village of castletown geoghegan which boasts 3 traditional pubs and a fabulous new pizzeria restaurant. There’s is also a lovely walk/cycle way on the old Dublin to Galway railway just 2km away. Lilliput Adventure centre on the shores of lough Ennell just 5 minutes away. We are 12km from mullingar town and 20km from athlone.

Secluded cabin on animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
