  • Karylyn was very caring and provided a quiet stress free environment which I needed while contract working two weeks, third shift. During a bad snow storm, a tree stopped me from getting back to her place at 1:00 am. She was very quick to respond to my message. Thank you!

  • Quaint, small space that feels like home, but offering the same amenities as a very clean motel room. Privacy, HDTV, and gracious hosts.

  • This place is on the short list next time I'm the area. A lot of thought went into the space.

    Carl2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Was exactly what I was looking for. Nights can be cold, but Karylyn has more than enough blankets to stay cozy - very cute space / definitely a little nostalgia!

    Samuel2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Karylyn is a fantastic host who will go out of her way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Communications were answered quickly and accurately. The room is separate from the main house so it's very private. The bathroom is not connected to the room and is about 50 feet away, but was very clean and inviting. I will be back! Thank you Karylyn!

    Jason2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 2nd stay here and it was perfect just like the first! Homemade muffins, fresh coffee beans, the MOST comfortable bed and wildlife right outside our windows.... doesn't get better than that! Thank you!

  • Linda's place is truly a sparkling diamond in beautiful Maine. We've been here for a few days during fall and just felt so relaxed after our trip. The apartment has everything you need and more: It is very spacious for two people with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen, a living room/dining area, a nicely decorated bedroom and bathroom. We've felt at home in an instant. Linda even provided breakfast snacks for the first morning and always made sure that we felt taken care of and also had the privacy we wanted. The views from every window were just amazing. Another treat for us: as this will be our first Halloween in the States, Linda's lovely and tasteful decorations in and around the house were setting the perfect mood for us. We strongly recommend staying at Linda's and really hope to come back!

    Arvina2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Linda's place was just as described. In a beautiful area with everything you need. I would stay there again without hesitation. Great communication and excellent host.

    Natalia2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't have asked for a better stay. A beautiful home with a beautiful mountain backdrop to match. Each and every window offers a lovely view. We watched wild turkeys and a family of deer graze across the property as we sipped our morning coffee. The apartment was immaculately clean, private, quiet, and thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary amenities plus tasty treats! Linda was so welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area.

My place is close to nature; sitting at the foot of Buker Mountain, elevation 1020 ft. A trail to the top of the mountain offers views of Sebec lake and surrounding mountains. An additional trail to the right, will take you to an abandoned granite quarry. The area is a great spot for hunting and fishing. Additional hiking is a short drive from the camp. It's a great place to unplug. If this property is already booked, check out my camp on the lake! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15003431?s=51
Cabin in the woods. Fireplace is available for use but we recommend some knowledge of using the damper or you will fill the house with smoke. The cabin has a rustic exterior with modern amenities inside. We offer weekly rates.
The cabin is situated on a town maintained dirt road. It has 3 season access. Most of the neighbors are a good distance away. They are friendly and helpful. Don`t be surprised if someone stops by to chat. I block use of the cabin in the winter, due to the road conditions; the town does not plow the road that passes by the camp. It is available May through November.
  • Beautiful place to go camping. can get lost easily so take your time getting their. enjoy your surroundings.

    Andy2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin has ample room with modern rustic charm. Very large property to enjoy and spend a relaxing weekend away.

    Jaye2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is just like the pictures. If you want a beautiful cabin and rustic country getaway it's just what you're looking for.

    Michelle2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin in the woods is absolutely a great getaway. We have been twice and already want to go back. Very quiet, clean and cozy. Just a perfect spot to escape busy life.

    Chris2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • A great secluded spot, wish there was wifi or cell service but we worked our way without it.

    Sabiha2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Vickie is an outstanding host. Her communication is spot on, and she will make you feel right at home. The location is gorgeous, right in the middle of beautiful country woods. Expect that you will be well heated for cold nights, but it's Maine, temperatures can get a bit hot in the summer. Thanks Vickie!

    Stephen2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Vickie's cabin was quaint, cute, and full of personal touches. We were more than comfortable and found it to be better than expected. We mostly used the cabin for sleeping as we went back and forth to another camp on the lake. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had more amenities than expected. The fridge was perfect size for the long weekend. The tv and dvd were used a bit by adults and kids. The bathroom with a full-size tub/shower was excellent. The cabin was neat and clean. We had a great time!

    Shelby2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Vickie's place was absolutely fantastic - exactly what we needed; quiet and beautiful location in the woods, and the cabin was clean, comfortable, and incredibly cozy. The working fireplace was our favorite bit! Also a huge thanks to Vickie to having the area plowed due to last minute snow and saving our weekend plans - fantastic host! We will for sure be back again.

This camp is located just one mile outside of town and Moosehead Lake on a quiet road. It features a private back yard with firepit, and all the wood you'll need. Enjoy the screened in porch and woodstove on those chilly nights. East Outlet, Roach River, and miles of prime grouse, bear, and moose hunting minutes away. Includes TV/DVD player, cooking utensils, dishes, wood, and a charcoal grill. Sheets, pillows, and towels are provided. Canoe, kayak and boat rental available for $25 per day.
I am also a Registered Maine Guide for hunting and fishing, and I would love to take you out to explore the beautiful woods and waters of the Moosehead Lake region!
Explore the one of a kind Maine shops on the shores of Maine's largest lake, Moosehead, in downtown Greenville . There are countless hiking trails nearby, the B-52 crash site on Elephant Mountain to explore, and numerous bodies of water to canoe or kayak. Take a ride into the wilderness to see moose, deer, ruffed and spruce grouse, and maybe even a black bear. I am mostly available to take you on a moose tour if desired for an additional fee.

  • This house is a gem! Elisabeth and Jake have created the perfect romantic getaway spot nestled in the North woods of Maine!! Very private location with plenty of views and activities to stay busy for weeks. We loved the rustic charm of the cabin, especially the rustic furniture and the MOOSE!! Elisabeth quickly answered all of our questions and was a terrific host. We had campfires, grilled burgers, hung out by the river, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you for having us, cheers!

    Kelly2020-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! We felt at home from the moment we walked through the door. We had everything we needed, and Elisabeth and Jake were perfect hosts. Quiet street surrounded by historic buildings and very close walking distance to restaurants, stores, and boat launch. Easy day trips to many of the scenic areas and activities in the rural egion.
  • Vincent is a great host. Everything was exactly as described, clean comfortable and well provided. Very reasonably priced for the space and the quality of the accommodations. Monson is a small very friendly, restored community, still famous for slate mining. Dozens of Appalachian Trail hikers stayed in house or on the grass across the street, but they were quiet as the dawn. It's an easy drive to Greenville and points of interest on Moosehead, or to the bakery in Abbot. I would definitely stay there again. Susan

  • Great place to stay for snowmobiling , there is a connector trail , a bit rough and over grown but serves its purpose. The club house amenities were all amazing , very clean pool , spa , hot tub , Weight room has all you need for a great workout . Staff was very friendly and helpful . Driveway nice and wide , plenty of parking . Short walk to store if you chose to walk . Cabin was spotless, furniture all in great shape and cozy . Heat works great , gas grill for use , Good water pressure in showers , really everything was really nice . Only thing I found a bit worn is the upstairs bedroom saggy heavy in the middle , overall was a great stay .

  • We spent five days snowmobiling in the Greenville area with plenty of trail choices and destinations. The condo was everything that was described and more (modern and spotlessly clean). Cable TV and good wifi were a nice touch. This spot is very convenient to the activity areas of Greenville. There is good trail access via a local trails or the lake right from the back door. There is also a parking area for the trailers right on the property. We will definitely be going back.

Welcome to lakefront living! This house has everything you need for a fantastic summer vacation: three bedrooms, one and half bathrooms, washer and dryer, pull out sofa, outdoor space to play, eat and relax. The living room, connects to the back deck that looks out onto the large backyard and the lake. A paddle boat and two kayaks are available to renters. Off to the side of the house is a fire pit area for evening s'mores. ATV trails & the Appalachian trails are very close.
Everything about this house is great. The floor plan on the main level is open with great lake views from the deck. There's plenty of off street parking. The yard is level and provides room for play. The entire time, you are looking out over the lake. You can motor to the Lakehouse restaurant from the house. There's room to be together and room for personal space. Eat indoor or outdoor, there are plenty of options. Enough parking space for 4 cars. Two Kyacks and paddle boat availabe to renters.
The house is located on a dead end street so there's very little traffic or noise. The Monson general store is 2.5 miles right down road and it has everything from food, to coffee to sandwiches. There is a Hannaford Supermarket in Greenville which is 15 minutes away. It's not huge, but it has everything. There are other Hannaford supermarkets on your way into Monson. Greenville (southern end of Moosehead Lake) has some really great stores. Check out the Moosehead Lake Indian Store. So many good things.
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Carolyn’s place. The location was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room to spread out as a family. The lake was quiet and the water was clear. Good lawn space for playing games with fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Carolyn was quick to answer all questions and even shipped a mixer and cake pans so I could bake a cake for my kids birthday. We would stay again.

    Julie2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this house. It was just as advertised. The kitchen has everything you need. The yard is great to hang out in. The back deck with table and swing and a roof was where we spent a lot of time. We did a lot of kayak fishing. The trout and salmon are deep but I did manage to catch 4 decent large mouth bass. We were close to Moosehead Lake and the town of Greenville which is filled with great shops and restaurants. We enjoyed a fun and peaceful week here. Thanks.

A cozy log cabin in the Moosehead Lake Region of Maine. The cabin is located at The Farm at Moosehead on Rt. 15 Greenville, on the ATV Access Trail. Our cabin offers an open kitchen, dining and living area with a woodstove. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds and one bath. The Farm is a working homestead farm raising pastured poultry, pigs and rabbits. Our vegetables are grown using organic methods and used on our Brick Oven Pizza.
The cabin is clean, warm and inviting. Feel free to walk out the back door to the spacious yard with lawn furnishings and enjoy our fire pit with a complimentary bundle of Wood. Walk our grounds and enjoy the farm animals and gardens. In our barn is a Wood Fired Kitchen and Farm Store with farm fresh eggs and local farm products.
We are on the main road going into town. It is the ATV access trail that goes into downtown Greenville. Here at Moosehead, wilderness abounds. There are many trails to hike, beaches for swimming, places to picnic, boating and fishing. We are one mile to town for dining and shopping. Our place is very clean and just minutes to Moosehead Lake let us help you find the perfect setting to enjoy our wilderness.
  • Such a cozy setting. Dawn was an outstanding and responsive host and our only regret was that we missed out on being able to try those amazing ribs and pizza I've heard so much about! We really didn't want to leave.

    Alryssa2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing cabin with hosts that are second to none. We had everything we could ask for during our winter vacation in Greenville. Loved the wood stove, full kitchen, access to the outdoors and the generous tour of the working farm Dawn and Teddy gave our kids. Will definitely plan to stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

    Mike2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The only problem with our stay was not staying longer. We loved the cabin so much! The wood stove is A+ and the beds are so comfy. Even tho the cabin is close to the street and there’s cars coming and going when the take-out is open, it still feel very private! The ribs and wings were fantastic...a must try. The eggs, cream, and coffee are a wonderful touch, and Dawn could not be any more responsive! These personable hosts make it a wonderful getaway location. Highly recommended!

    Sarah And Richard2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn's has a beautiful, cozy cabin in a great location. Best pizza from the brick oven and the hospitality was outstanding

    Melissa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a beautiful, clean and very well stocked log cabin. We had everything we needed and the hosts were welcoming, helpful and were quick to respond to any need. The check in was effortless, the hosts offered helpful tips for the area and the food at the Barn was amazing. Don't leave without trying the ribs! We were there for snowmobiling and it was great to walk in to a warm cabin with a wood stove. We will definitely go back!

    Sue2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn’s home is so inviting & warm. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great! They have a lovely food spot next door with great brick oven pizza’s & wings! Can’t wait to visit again!

    Marissa2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is comfortable, clean, well stocked and close to downtown Greenville. We had one small glitch (a light bulb needed replacement) and when we told the hostess she was there within 5 minutes to fix it. We tried the ribs and wings from their store located very close to the cabin and they were excellent and reasonably priced. Their farm fresh eggs are so superior to store bought. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for an enjoyable, peaceful vacation.

    Nora2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn's cabin is a great, comfortable getaway to get around the Moosehead region, and just a short hour + drive to Canada. The place is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you would need. Their take-out kitchen right next door is a wonderful and convenient addition to the stay. After a long day out exploring the area, just pop next door and order dinner. Thanks again! David

  • This is a longhouse hotel, there will be some bugs coming in, but the whole is very clean

    Andrea2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very clean and easy to get to. All the amenities just worked. We were pleasantly surprised that we had "room service" to clean the room every day. If you are not in for the full cabin experience then this is a pretty good alternative. It was fairly easy to get to Baxster State Park and Moosehead Lake from here, about an hour each. There are not a whole lot of places to eat around here so prepare accordingly. And don't forget to just look up at the sky on a clear night. The location doesn't have that much light pollution and you can see a lot of stars and perhaps even take star trail pictures/telescope adventures.

  • We stayed here for 5 days and had a great time. The location is close to town, but isolated enough so you don’t feel like you’re packed in close to others. The neighbor across the street, Kevin I think his name is, was very nice and welcoming and gave great tips on where to go and places to see. Amy’s responses were fast and professional. She even let us bring my husky mix!

Get out of the city and into your own outdoor space! Over a 5-year renovation, we painstakingly converted this 120 year old Maine canoe shop into a luxe cabin experience! It has a loft with king tempurpedic bed and antique soaking tub overlooking the downstairs and out second story windows. Walk down the floating staircase to front and back doors opening up to beautiful grounds and large granite fire pit. Sink into the extra long vintage velvet sofa and watch TV, or dine under the stars outside!
The space is beautiful, light and airy. Very romantic. The upstairs loft is open with king size bed, vintage soaking tub, lavatory and toilet. The loft curtain closes for privacy. Downstairs is a day bed/trundle bed that sleeps two (2 separate beds). Since this is an open area, it's best suited to one person or a couple, although there are extra beds in the event a group doesn't mind the space. Children can be allowed but we need to talk first since it's got a floating staircase and loft. We have a kitchenette with large slate sink, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave as well as induction burners for any metal pans.
We are located on the edge of town. You feel you are in the country, yet its a 2 minute ride to the market, restaurants, pubs and Dunkin' Donut for your morning coffee! Just footsteps from the trails for hiking/biking/snowmobiling. Sparkling Sebec Lake is just a few minutes away. Rent a boat for the day and enjoy this 12-mile pristine lake.
  • It was like being in a cabin in the woods but with easy access to town amenities. Best of both. Brenda and her husband were very attentive, great hosts.

  • Great clean cabin, bed very comfortable, WiFi worked good for being remote area, washer and dryer was a huge plus when staying for a week. The only issue is if you are going for snowmobiling the access trail To the main trail is not the greatest and no information about clubs or trails , or shops where left in the cabin . Other than that a GREAT PLACE .

The Lambertson cabin is a rustic log cabin on the north shore of Wilson Pond. It’s a family cabin, so we appreciate your efforts to treat it as your own. It does not have electricity but has gas lights, refrigerator, stove, and hot water heater. Inside the cabin you will find a small leather-covered spiral notebook, which explains with pictures how light the gas lights, etc. Everything should be up and running when you get there, so you'll just have to light the lights.
There are two double beds. A futon can be used for extra guests.
The cabin is located on the shore of Lower Wilson Pond. There are only three cabins on Lambertson Road so you will find peace and quiet while listening to the loons calling.

  • We enjoyed our short stay with Nancy. We felt very welcome and relaxed in Nancy's charming home. Her home is very clean and cozy...love the soap smells! Our bed was very comfortable...and even cable TV in the blue room. We were close enough to Monson so that my hiker husband had access to the AT trailheads. We would like to publicly thank Nancy for her above and beyond hospitality!

The Tentrr - Peaks Kenny is a hiker's dream getaway. Its ten miles of gentle hiking trails offer visitors of all ages and skill levels a chance to enjoy old-growth hardwood forests. While hiking, don't miss the dozen "utilitarian sculptures" created by artist Wade Kavanaugh. After the hike, dip into Sebago Lake for a swim or hop in canoe or kayak to view wildlife on the 10 miles of shoreline (rentals available). Within a 15 minute drive from the campsite the town of Dover-Foxcroft has plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. This campsite is made available through an exclusive partnership between Tentrr and Maine State Parks. Tentrr got its start by partnering with private landowners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. We're now excited to bring our elevated camping experience to state parks across the country! Each site has been carefully selected for its natural beauty and access to local sites and activities. Standard amenities includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find a queen-size single or bunk bed inside. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.
This Tentrr campsite offers the chance to relax, unplug, and experience nature! There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service may be hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise. When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. • Loon Shores is a wonderful place to spend time enjoying the magical beauty of Sebec Lake. It is clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. We found almost everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen and laundry. The space accommodated our group of five adults and two children splendidly, and the dock worked great with our boat (and visitors' boats). Swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing are excellent. And the hosts are fantastic! We are already hoping to go back.
