Our place is a great getaway for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. The house is fully equipped dishes, silverware, pots and pans. We are located right in the historical town of Rumford. Hannaford Grocery - 5 minutes away Walmart - 10 minutes away Black mountain ME - 9 minutes away Sunday River - 25 minutes away Mount Abram - 30 minutes away Sugarloaf Mountain - one hour and 20 minutes away And many more mountain resorts around the area.

Your Maine Base Camp

You have full access to this spacious house. Enjoy the large kitchen with a food prep island, ample counter space, basic cookware utensils and ingredients for cooking and baking. The dining room table comfortably seats eight. Relax in the living room with a TV monitor for streaming your preferred services, comfy furniture, and a pellet stove. One bedroom is on the ground floor and two upstairs. Living room is 4 steps down from other ground floor areas. There are no TV monitors in bedrooms.

Carriage House

Renovated circa 1920 carriage house in a quaint New England college town. Eight-minute walk to busy downtown with restaurants, bars, shops, and grocery store. Elegant contemporary style. Open concept downstairs with sofa, daybed (napping in the sun!), and chef-designed kitchen. Second level with two queen beds and small balcony. Adjoins miles of walking trails and forest, full of wildlife. Less than 5-minute drive to a 1.5 mile running trail along the Sandy River, with refreshing swimming.

This newer House has a private 1-BR above-the-garage with a private back-entrance with a Living-room, Full Kitchen with a 2-person island, Large Bath with double-wide shower and a large BR w/ views of Sunday River as well as Mahoosuc Notch. Perfect for a two-person get-away, in the Western Mountains of ME. Great for Winter Sports at Sunday River, or Mt. Abrams, outdoor activities or quick-access to downtown Bethel. Clean and cozy, it has one bedroom with a queen bed and two sofa sleepers which make it a great spot for a couple or a family of four. We're only fifteen minutes to Mt. Abram and 30 minutes to Sunday River. There's easy-access to snowmobile trails and Moose Pond right across the road. Oxford Casino is 30 minutes south.

Trails close by. In Maine’s finest hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, , skiing, hiking territory. A perfect place for adventure, romance, celebration or serenity.
