Gerry was a great host... Very attentive and working hard on his English. His apartment was really quite amazing. He is a great interior designer. Very elegant, very stylish.... Bed was great, bathroom was nicely appointed, and breakfast was nicely laid out. We will definitely return when the occasion arises.

Gerry's place is very nice and clean. It's in a great location for the Ferrari factory and museum, and Gerry was very nice and accommodating. He doesn't speak very much English but that wasn't a problem at all, definitely recommended!

This is an excellent place with a very good host in Gerry and his friend Ricardo who greeted my wife and me on arrival. A very clean, modern, and tidy flat and includes a few unexpected extras. Gerry was responsive when I needed him for an issue I had to deal with. Note that breakfast does not include eggs, meat or cheeses, etc. Thank you very much, Gerry.

Annalisa and her husband Claudio are a delight to stay with. Their land and home are gorgeous and they are so kind and welcoming. They took out so much time to set up wine tastings for us, translate for us, and show us their vinegar works. Not to mention the delicious food - fabulous breakfasts, wine and snacks, and a beautiful heart-shaped tart to celebrate our recent marriage. I can't recommend staying here enough!

Our brief stay in Castelvetro was wonderful! We only wish that our trip to Italy had allowed us to spend more time at the B&B with Claudio and Annalisa. They were super people and the B&B that they've built is beautiful. They welcomed us upon our arrival by introducing us to the other guests and preparing for us a delicious antipasto with lambrusco wine, all food from the area, including their own balsamic vinegar. They made a terrific restaurant recommendation for our one night in town. In the morning, Annalisa prepared a wonderful breakfast. Even my 17 year old son had enough food! She and Claudio are both such warm and thoughtful hosts. The accommodations were perfect. We truly wish we had had more time to get to know Annalisa and Claudio and that part of Italy. We have a reason now to return and would welcome them into our own home here in the US.

We had two wonderful nights here. Annalisa and her husband were great hosts! Their place was very clean, nicely decorated, breakfast was great, and our room had a fabulous view over-looking the rolling hills. I can't find one bad thing to say. We originally had a pre-booked cooking course in Modena for the day and we actually cancelled it as all we wanted to do was enjoy the view and land of this B&B. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked for more nights as we would have loved to stayed longer and explore the pretty medieval town nearby. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Our experience was nothing else but magical. from the moment we crossed the opening gates, we were enchanted by the warm welcoming and the magnificent view. The pool offers an oasis of freshness and relaxation after a nice day of touring in this beautiful area. The rooms are cozy and very well maintained. You will have your fresh breakfast prepared for you every morning. It is a short drive from the town of modena. But what makes this so special is annalisa, claudio and their parents. They are passionate and dedicated to make your stay a special moment. I can't wait to be back soon.

Annalisa is one of life's truly kind and generous people ! Even though we spent just one night at her wonderful B and B, she made us feel incredibly welcome, and went out of her way to do anything she could to make our stay more enjoyable. Our room was air-conditioned, spotless and beautifully decorated, with a lovely en suite bathroom, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool admiring the countryside and beautifully maintained gardens. In the evening we went to a great restaurant (Ca Bianca), which Annalisa recommended, and she even booked a table for us. We were not disappointed – we ate some of the best pizza we've ever tasted ! The next day, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with homemade bread, jams and cakes, plus a refreshing cocktail of freshly squeezed fruit juices. This is an outstanding B&B and a 'must' if you are in the Modena area. It is a very impressive house with the top floor set aside for the B&B. Everything was perfect! We were 4 adults and we all enjoyed our stay. Claudio is a great host and took time to show and explain us how the balsamic vinegar was made. We were surprised of the quality of the b&b. If it was possible, I would rated 5+ stars out of 5. Our stay was one of the highlight of our 2-week trip in Italy. Hope to visit again La Vedetta and the family in the near future. Ciao!

The place is extraordinarily! The hosts are more then helpful, they are your friends! We enjoyed the domain with beautiful trees and flowers, the wine fields surrounding the villa. Actually we booked a room and because we traveled with our kids, at our arrival Claudio enhanced our booking by assigning us a duplex appartment at no extra cost. If you visit them, do take the balsamico tour. We totally enjoyed it there. The swimming pool is good too. There's great flexibility, we were allowed to stay hours after we checked out and we enjoyed the pool and the place. We would return with any occasion! Thank you for creating such a context!

Maura and her husband have created one of the most amazing experiences for us on our Italy trip. The house is fully remodelled and is probably one of the most luxurious, spotless, well-designed and well put together homes I have ever had the honour to stay in. All top-grade materials used throughout. These amazing hosts immediately made us feel like we were visiting family. Maura was so sweet to have bakes my wife and I a delicious chocolate cake first thing in the morning because it was our wedding anniversary the day before. We were touched beyond words. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. If you are looking for an amazing home-away-from-home, it doesn't get much better than this!

Maura and Luciano are incredible friendly people. And their house is so nice. Quality and design in every detail. My room was really nice. Big bed, big window with nice view and AC, which I appreciated very much, because I visited at a very hot time. My bathroom was the nicest bathroom I have ever seen :) I visited with my sport car and the parking was perfect. It was behind a electric remote controlled gate. Very safe and convenient. The breakfast was really good and served in the garden. It included both local and home made food. We talked a lot, even thou I don't speak Italien, and my hosts only speak a little English, but (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate filled out the blanks :) I had a lot of fun with the cats. So cute. The Wifi worked fine. The location was perfect for my visits to the Ferrari, the Lamborghini and the Maserati Panini museum. I felt at home at Maura and Luciano's place and I would definitely stay there again, if I end up in that part of Italy again. My best AirBnb stay so far :)

Maura ist der perfekte Gastgeber! Sie und ihr Mann Luciano haben uns mit offenen Armen empfangen und waren wie eine wirkliche Gastfamilie für uns. Meine Frau und ich waren mit unserem 10 Monate alten Sohn vor Ort und wurden wunderbar von denen umsorgt. Außerdem haben sie uns sehr gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants in Modena und Maranello gegeben. Gute Gespräche und echte Gastfreundlichkeit waren für beide eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Auf diesem Wege noch einmal herzlichen Dank an unsere liebevollen Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft war für uns super gelegen. Ein privater Parkplatz auf dem abgesicherten Grundstück wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und wollten unbedingt Modena und Maranello sehen. Beide Orte sind ganz leicht und schnell zu erreichen. Selbst nach Bologna war es mit dem Auto nur ein Katzensprung. Die Unterkunft selbst ist top gepflegt und sauber! Uns gehörte die gesamte oberste Etage einschließlich eines voll ausgestatteten, wunderschönen Badezimmers. Die Nutzung der Küche und der restlichen Räumlichkeiten war für unsere Gastgeber selbstverständlich und sogar ein eigener Kühlschrank für unsere Einkäufe wurde uns im Keller zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit bei Familie Pavarelli und werden bei unserer nächsten Italien Reise auf jeden Fall zurückkehren. Vielen Dank für alles und bis bald ihr Zwei!

Everything was fine, eventhough we stayed just for one night. It is a really nice little house on the countryside. It is calm and beside a small farm. We loved to stay there! Riccardo is really nice and gave us advices where to go.

Clean, neat and comfortable. To Modena 15 min by car, close to the historic center of Castelvetro. Silence and coffee in front of the house ... Cats lining up in the sun for free. Business trip and we felt like on vacation.

La casa è molto accogliente e pulita , inoltre Riccardo (host) è molto disponibile e cortese. Lo consiglio sia per una breve sosta che per alcuni giorni di vacanza e riposo. Giorgio's mill is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay! Not far from Maranello (Ferrari) or Modena, Bologna, Parma. A good place to enjoy the culinary pleasures this region has to offer. Giorgio always has a good recommendation where to eat. The suite was tastefully decorated. It was fitted with two very quiet aircons. Bed was comfortable. Nice and big bathroom. Big fridge for your shopping of Parma ham and cheese... The suite is very quiet, even though the mill is next to the road. But the bed & living rooms have no windows to the street side. In fact there is no view. Only roof windows which have an electric shutter. Giorgio is a nice and helpful host. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to see the aceitaia. But we will leave that for next time.

Giorgio was very welcoming. The Old Mill is very charming. Giorgio showed us around. He even helped with a restaurant booking the first night and to organize a taxi for us to take us to a restaurant in Modena the next day. The village where the accommodation is situated is a bit out of Modena but the bit of quiet is nice. We really enjoyed our stay very much.

Fabulous place! The suite is gorgeous and in a lovely country setting. Giorgio was a perfect host, showing us his balsamic operation, playing drums for us, and mapping out a day-long walking route for us to take: to a Parmigiano-Reggiano operation, the Nirano Salse, a 1,000-year old castle, and more. The meal we had at La Noce was absolutely delicious, and we especially loved talking to Giorgio and his very sweet wife. We did not want to leave! Highly recommended.

Our stay at La Noce was top notch, one of the best experiences that I have ever had. Giorgio and Ivanna went above and beyond to host us on our stay. It was perfect for what we wanted! The pictures of La Noce were spot on, the suit was so great. We were given a tour of Giorgio's vinegar operation and cellar and then had a wonderful (gourmet) and very personal dinner at their restaurant across the street. I highly recommend staying at La Noce if you plan to be in this part of Italy (and have a car), it will truly enhance your experience!

Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more! It was easy to find and very beautiful! Giorgio is an excellent host! He met us at arrival and gave us a tour of the accommodations. Everything was perfect. The surrounding area and scenery are also absolutely breathtaking. We also got to enjoy an absolutely amazing tour of Giorgio's Balsamic vinegar production and museum. It was very impressive!

Georgio was awesome! If you want a unique experience and you are in to learning about how balsamic vinegar is made go and stay with Georgio. He was even kind enough to let us go and sit amongst his vineyard to watch the sun set and have a glass of wine. The room was beautiful with extra added comforts.

Giorgio's son, David, met us upon arrival and gave us a warm welcome and an in-depth tour of the apartment, including everything we should know about how it works. The apartment is very beautiful and had everything we needed. Giorgio and his charming wife, Ivana live across the street and were readily available to help us in any way. We were very lucky to have an incredible meal in their beautiful restaurant which is attached to their home, the night before Ivana retired from her long career of being the resident chef. There is a Balsamic Vinegar Factory in the building that houses the apartment. One can have a tour as well as purchase the delicious vinegar if one desires. Rosangela made us feel welcome by picking us up when we were lost and couldn't find her home! She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. From offering to have tea/coffee and a light breakfast ready for us at any time in the morning - to making sure our room had all the essentials like towels, little hotel-style soaps, and even bathrobes and slippers! Rosangela offered many fun things for us to see and explore in the area - and had all the hookups we could have wanted - from Ferrari to Spas in nearby towns. She has an incredibly welcoming, calm and relaxing presence and is a great fit for people who like that calm, cosy, at-home feeling with the freedom to come and go as they like.

Rosangela was a perfect host! The location is excellent, just a short walk from the bus station and very close to Maranello's center, the Ferrari factory, and the Museum. Her house is gorgeous, the accommodations are good, and her hospitality is excellent. You really feel like a guest in someone's home, not a hotel or even just a B&B. She is also highly knowledgeable about Maranello, and took time out of her day to show me around the town/ take photos. Highly recommend staying here.

Rosangela was a very lovely and caring host. She made me feel very comfortable in her home and although I spoke little Italian and she didn't know much English, she tried her best to communicate everything to me and make sure I was happy. When I arrived she showed me where my bathroom was and the room I would be staying in. On the bed there was a robe, toiletries and slippers laid out. I liked that she gave me privacy in her home but would always be close by in case I needed anything. When I told her what I would be doing in Italy she kindly showed me around her area and recommended shops, restaurants and test drive companies to visit while I was here. Before departure she offered me a small breakfast which I wasn't expecting. Overall she was an amazing host and all-round lovely lady who I wouldn't hesitate to stay with again! Thanks Rosangela!

Excellent location, right opposite the Ferrari factory. Center of Maranello is literally 5 minutes away, and easily accessible by foot or by car. Around the corner is the Museo Ferrari Maranello, and great food nearby too. Rosangela is a wonderful host, friendly and so hospitable to us during our 4 day stay. She made extra effort to communicate to us in English even though she probably didn't have to. I would definitely stay at hers again during my next visit to Maranello! Grazie Rosangela!

Eravamo in due e siamo stati benissimo!! Eleonora è stata disponibilissima sia per il check-in che per il check-out, che per qualsiasi dubbio o informazione. La taverna è confortevole, pulita e ben curata. C'è anche il posto macchina interno. Abbiamo anche avuto la fortuna di fermarci a pranzo con Eleonora e la sua fantastica Mamma! Se dovessimo ripassare da quelle parti torneremmo sicuramente da loro!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Mauro's. He was very friendly and hospital! In the morning we got a little breakfast as described. The sanitary shack was also very handy as we were only on the road with a car. Thank you Mauro!

Mauro is a legend. He greeted us with a nice bottle of lambrusco, some cheese and great conversation. The place is great and I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling in the area. This is the Modena experience you want. A little bonus coffee and biscuits to wake you up in the morning was the cherry on top.

We arrived a little bit early and were greeted by Mauro and one of his sons. Mauro was very helpful. The camper van was just as described. I would probably not choose to stay in a camper van again, however, it was a very fun experience. Great value for money. Awesome hosts.

Velis and Angela were great in communication, they asked us how our trip was going in the week before we would go to Modena, very nice! They helped us when we needed anything and the studio was small but clean and modern. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

A recommander sans hésiter!!! Logement fonctionnel très bien équipé; un petit cadeau de bienvenue nous attendait! Propriétaires super gentils toujours à l'écoute.Très bel endroit bucolique non loin de villes intéressantes à visiter : Modena, Bologne, Maranello avec sa Ferrarri. Castelvetro à 4 kms du logement est un petit village médiéval magnifique! Et je terminerai en faisant l'éloge des spécialités culinaires...à découvrir absolument!

Si je pouvais mettre 6 ou 7 étoiles à Velis et à Angela je le ferais ! Le logement en lui même est parfait, équipé impeccablement... La localisation est idéale pour qui recherche le calme et le centre du village de Castelvetro est sublime, une vraie découverte grâce à nos hôtes qui ont été parfaits pour nous faire découvrir le coin et ses spécialités. Ce couple est tellement agréable que j'espère sincèrement pouvoir revenir et y passer plus de temps ! :) Autrement dit, n'hésitez pas à réserver et à découvrir cette belle région !!
