Places to stay in Maplewood

Places to stay in Maplewood
Cozy apartment in Maplewood CENTRALLY LOCATED-close to downtown and everywhere you might want to go in St. Louis. Double bed, single bed, short futon, two comfy chairs, desk, microwave, fridge, hotplate, coffee maker, sink, bathroom, use of washer, dryer - detergent and softener provided. Entire house has central heat and air (vent opens into the basement), as well as wall heaters and fans. As this is a basement space (partially below ground level), the temperature stays quite comfortable.
This is a small space in a very safe, centrally located neighborhood in St. Louis - a few miles from Washington University, close to downtown, St. Louis University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Forest Park, St. Louis Zoo, the Art Museum and so much more! There are two cats and one dog living with me so, if you have allergies, this may be an issue :) There may be doggy noise from above...we rise early.
I love living in Maplewood because it is so centrally located - 10 or 15 minutes from almost everything. This is a quiet, family area, with friendly neighbors. There is a lovely coffee shop a block away - Stone Spiral and a main street 3 blocks away. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and "Strange Donuts!"
  • Great clean basement space in a fun neighborhood. Highly recommended.

    Stacie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great place! The little touches are what really impressed me. Mila provided plenty of referrals for things to do, in the neighborhood and downtown alike. The area is very quaint and nice, right off the highway from downtown and there is a convenience store right at the end of the road for anything you might need (that Mila hasn’t already provided :) ) Overall an amazing stay, perfect for a quiet getaway!

  • We highly recommend staying here : ) This abode is: comfortable, stylish, full of amenities; thoughtful touches (such as fresh flowers, waters, wine), a fully stocked kitchen, quality linens/towels, comfy furniture, and a great location! It's a small space but it lacks nothing in comfort and style. We'll be visiting St. Louis from time to time and hope to stay again. Thank you, Michael and Paris.

  • I stayed in this little house with my adult daughter and son while in town for a college graduation. It was perfect. Very cosy and charming with both vintage and modern decor. We had everything we needed and plenty of parking. I will book this space when I return to the St Louis area for another visit.

Step back into St. Louis history like an aristocrat, and enjoy the grandeur of this Victorian style apartment in The Franz Park neighborhood of St. Louis. This is a completely private main floor suite you will undoubtedly fall in love with. It's located on a quiet tree lined street only minutes from everything St. Louis has to offer.
This luxury unit easily accommodates 4 adults or 2 couples. It has one official bedroom and a queen size futon in the living room (please note that the LR has a large pocket door making it private as well.) Full kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, coffee/tea pot, microwave and everything you would need to cook or prepare a meal. The stunning dinning room is great if you would like a formal dinner or use the space to play games and plan out the next day. And of course a full bath stocked with all of the basic amenities. I provide coffee, tea, and usually some snacks in the apartment. Washer and dryer available in the cellar.
The combination of three St. Louis neighborhoods Franz Park, Hi-Point, and Clayton/Tamm make up what locals call "Dogtown". It is traditionally an Irish-American neighborhood located just south of Forest Park. Dogtown is a safe area providing things to do for people of all ages and easy access to Downtown.
  • I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s an excellent place. All of the room are super comfortable to relax in and it’s great having off street parking.

A great location in St. Louis. Only a 5 mi. walk into Maplewood / Schafly Bottleworks. Plenty of restaurants and night life in Maplewood. Less than 2 miles to Forest Park and only a 10-12 min drive to Clayton, the zoo, science center, and magic house. This house is located close to highway 64/40 and right next to 44 which makes getting to downtown (Blues and Cardinals) or anywhere in St. Lou easy. Safe neighborhood with dead end streets to limit traffic. Driveway to park in. Deck to hang out.
1400 Sq Ft house with a deck and backyard. Good neighbors and a safe area. Our house backs up to rail road tracks (see photos) if you are a super light sleeper you may wake to the night trains, but with the windows closed it is hard to hear. Old St. Louis charm with updated features. Oak floors throughout and nice open kitchen. Smart TV's with basic channels are in each bedroom, along with a huge 50" one in the main living room.
Maplewood has a nice downtown with small shops and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Schafly Brewery is a .2 miles from this location and is considered a staple of Maplewood. It is an easy 5 min walk from our spot. Clayton is 10 min drive away and Busch Stadium is only 15 mins away (without traffic)
  • The home is older, but has been completely remodeled and is stylish and clean inside. Getting in and out was easy, and it's pretty centrally located. Great, relaxing place to stay!

It's also super nice that the Schlafly Brewhouse is right down the street. Anyone staying in Williams Airbnb I highly recommend you check it out! Thank you for the lovely stay William!

  • Lots of room. Stylish space. Local tv channels plus internet access.

    Don2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Ellendale was exceptional in many ways, starting with the hospitality we experienced from our hosts, which was very professional. Responses were always prompt and I always felt like I was able to contact them if I needed, but also I never felt like we were being hovered over. The character and feel of the space was amazing, it felt like we were staying in a little cottage. The area it's situated in has lots of excellent shops, bars, and restaurants, and has easy highway access that allows easy access to the rest of the city. In short, our stay was as close to perfect as I can imagine and I will definitely stay here again when my travels bring me back to St. Louis.

Cozy efficiency apartment walking distance to cornucopia of local shops, galleries, cafe's, restaurants and even St. Louis largest "micro" brewery, Schlafly Bottleworks. Smartly designed and decorated this cozy space has everything you need packed into a comfy one bedroom apartment including newly remodeled amenities like granite counter tops, 50' flat screen smart TV W/free Netflix, in-unit washer/dryer with detergent, shower soap supplies, kitchen outfitted with the basics for cooking etc.
As locals say, “somewhere between Mayberry and Metropolis is Maplewood,” a rare find that juxtaposes an old-style vibe with one that is truly hip. Residents say you can meet the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker — and then talk to the brewer and the blacksmith.Stroll down the street any time of day and find a wonderful mix of families, millennials, hipsters, old-timers and visitors. Same thing at night. The area’s downtown is a place where one can so totally immerse themselves in a most distinctive shopping and dining experience — where it seems every day is Small Business Saturday, with an extraordinary twist. Buttressed by Schlafly Bottleworks on one end and Side Project Brewing at the other, the quarter-mile stretch of Manchester Road, and relegated side streets, is home to over 200 businesses, restaurants, breweries and boutiques, more than 25 of them that produce and sell their own products on site — everything from culinary knives, colorfully welded iron and steel bottle openers, artisanal leather handbags and wallets, beer, soaps, Strange Donuts and more.
A major dining hub, up-and-coming Maplewood is home to a restaurants specializing in innovative fusion and New American fare, especially around buzzing Manchester Street. Independent shops sell fashion, homeware and gifts, while hip bars, cocktail lounges and brewpubs liven up the area at night. Vintage venues include the landmark 1916 Saratoga Lanes bowling alley.

  • A wonderful and cozy spot to relax and have a peaceful stay. The amenities included a laptop, tv with plenty to watch, lots of covers, space heater, a few toiletries, beverages, lots of good books, and several places to sit and unwind, all made the place very homey and comfortable. We found the place quiet, clean, private, and very nicely & uniquely decorated. All around a really great stay!

  • Gilda's place is so unique and lovely. It has pretty much everything you could possibly want in a temporary stay. There were even some Band-Aids, food, and other convenient supplies that went above and beyond the expectations I have for an AirBnB. I wish we could've stayed longer than a night, and we would definitely stay here again. An amazing value for money.

    Laura2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Gilda's place was awesome! It was a very homey and cute apartment, with a lot of extra features available.

    Rebecca2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable little place. About 10-15 from downtown, amazing price. Decorations are hand made from India so it's a beautiful touch. Beds are firm soft so my back didn't hurt, comfortable. She provided amenities and shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, straightener, towels, some light snacks and water bottles. Parking is in street and it's on a hill and off a busy street so be wary of that. I brought my service dog, and she lets regular dogs there as well. It's a cute little studio style and the shower is big, it gets cold so she has a bunch of fuzzy blankets. Overall a great stay for the price!

We offer off street parking for 2 cars. Outside it is a creative and bustling nook of the neighborhood, with musicians, gardeners and other peaceful people out and about. There is a lower level separate entry apt that is occupied by me upon occasion and laundry can be accessed upon request.
Maplewood is a centrally located area on the border of St. Louis city and St. Louis county. Easy access to local highways, close to grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet at night and the feel of the home is spacious yet cozy.
  • Great host, great place!

  • This was our first time ever using Air BnB and our now so glad we did it. My husband & I and our 3 young adult kids visited my husband’s dad and large extended family in St Louis. We didnt know anything about the Maplewood neighborhood before and we’re pleasantly surprised and what a good location it was.. easy access to everything and a very neat area with lots of history, shops and restaurants. The house was great- so pretty. Its a large, historic home originally built in the 1880’s with everything we needed including true off street parking and 2 patio areas for lounging. Everything advertised in the description was as promised. House was clean, beds were comfortable, and Michelle was nice and very accessible. The living space was large with a good amount of seating and suited our needs well. There was a beautiful 9 ft grand Kawaii piano with some sheet music in the bench that we hadn’t even realized would be there so that was a lot of fun. My kids also loved the surround sound system. We liked the house and the area so much we bragged our find to my husband’s large family and had 4 different family members get the information from us so they can refer it out to their St Louis visitors as well. Great experience - would definitely love to use again!

  • Michele welcomed us personally & introduced us to the very lovely & artsy Bento Box, before she left us all the space we needed to have a fabulous time.

  • Great place to stay with a good location. Outdoor settings are beautiful and it was nice not parking on the street. House is large and very roomy and kitchen had everything we needed to cook with.

    Sheila2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Michele is an awesome host. She is very quick to respond to any questions you may have. The house is very spacious for atleast 6 people. The interiors were unique and the garden area behind the house is great for a personal gathering. The amenities seemed new and in working condition. My friends and I rented this place due to its close proximity to forest park area and the gateway arch. Since we had a great time, I give this experience a 5 / 5 star.

    Jimmy2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • My fourth time staying here! That says a lot about this wonderful home. It’s so conveniently located to most anywhere you want to go in StL, and has two great grocery stores, really in walking distance, as well as the fun and novel shops in the Maplewood district (coffee house, bakery, awesome Penzeys spice shop, Vom Fass specialty olive oils and vinegars), and some amazing restaurants. Ellis is such a thoughtful and responsive host, and has helped us out many times. We plan to continue our run of wonderful stays at this home that has truly, everything you need. It’s roomy, cheerful, bright, has a very well-stocked kitchen, and two great outside porches to sit-a-spell. I feel so at home when there.

  • Great location, quiet neighborhood, clean house!

    Paul2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This home is close to a lot of the great happenings of St. Louis - downtown Maplewood! The space was extremely clean and thoughtfully furnished. We particularly loved the recently redone bathroom upstairs. Ellis thought of everything we could possibly need and provided it or explained it in advance. Thank you for opening your home to us!

    Bethany2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Ellis's place is warm and inviting. The two full bathrooms and spacious living area are helpful for multiple guests. We truly enjoyed our hassle-free stay and will definitely revisit the next time we travel to St. Louis.

    Brian2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second stay in about a week, and that should say something about how much we love Ellis’s home. It’s so convenient to pretty much anywhere you’d need to get to in StL, and in a lovely neighborhood, too. The home is clean and peaceful, with tasteful decor. We especially love the front and back porches for sitting with coffee or some wine and snacks! The kitchen is amazingly well-stocked, and organized. Beds are comfy, and the bathrooms are clean and stylish. The upstairs space where the bedrooms are is so quiet and perfect for getting a good night’s sleep. And, it’s a pretty space, too! We plan on making Ellis’s place our mainstay when in St. Louis!

Here lays a homestead "micro-farm" in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the city! I have a large garden with chickens & ducks! My home warmly holds 2 dogs & a cat! Your room is a private basement room and the bathroom is upstairs. ***My cat will find a way to visit you***, but the dogs stay on the upper floor. My space is perfect for travelers & animal/plant lovers. This space is perfect if you're not looking for a fancy room. It IS lovingly curated, clean, and a fun space to be in!
You have your own private entrance and the room is a private basement room. Keep in mind when you enter through the private entrance, you walk into the laundry room. Don't worry! Once you get passed that, your comfy, cute room will be waiting! There is a mini fridge with a jar of cold water, microwave, and cutlery already in your room. Any other cooking needs- please help yourself to my kitchen. There are animals, records, instruments, and trinkets that you are welcome to interact with. I am huge on lighting, so if you catch it at the right time, the upper-floor will be lit up nicely on some evenings. Feel free to start a fire in the fire pit, sit outside with the ducks, or relax on the front porch! Jude, the cat, loves people and loves letting you know!
My neighborhood rules. It's called Clifton Heights. Walking distance to Pint Size Bakery and Chris's Pancakes, as well as Adam's Smokehouse and two sweet dive bars- Sophie's Place and The Hideaway.
  • Wonderfully accommodating! Adorable home and her kitty is the sweetest thing! I would absolutely stay here again. Very comfortable bed, nice space down stairs with a private entrance and access to the house. The bathroom is conveniently located at the top of the steps. Very easy access and great communication! Everything you’re looking for at a great price!

  • I felt at home the moment I arrived. Lisa was friendly and welcoming. Lots of lottle personal touches. Her cat and 2 dogs were fun to hang out with and play with. Lisa's check in instructions made my arrival so easy. Would stay here again.

    Joy2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Really cool place to stay. Everywhere you look there’s a new piece of art to see. The animals are really sweet.

    Rachel2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy place and friendly animal. The location was close to main areas in a quiet neighborhood.

    Anna2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa’s place was beautiful. He cat was so nice and loved to be downstairs with us. Every room of the house has a very personal touch and a style I just adore. Don’t be afraid to come in the winter time, she has plenty of rugs to keep your feet warm and the heater down there works great. The chrome cast tv was definitely a plus, and the mine fridge and microwave were much needed. I can’t wait to come back and stay again.

  • Great little place!

    Benjamin & Sarah2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very stylish place! The decorations and feel of the home were awesome. Having our own entrance and area in the basement kept everything very private though I wish I had seen the host to let her know how cool the place was. If you're not a pet person (cats, dogs, ducks) then this may not be the place for you, but my fiancee and I thought it was a really cool stay.

    Brandon2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • 10/10 First off let me just say how cute this space was! If you enjoy the atmosphere of what I think feels like an artists home then this is the place for you. Lisa was so sweet and helped us with anything we needed. While we didn’t ever get the chance to met I would love to say that our other host Jude was quite the gentleman. It was a really short drive to the concert venue we went to as well as forest park. The best atmosphere, hospitality, location, and value in Stl. Will totally try to stay again.

The spacious Victorian Penthouse is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a historic Victorian house. The house is nestled on a quiet tree lined street on the edge of the city. It is close to really good local restaurants and is only a mile from St. Louis's best attractions in Forest Park.
The unit has been preserved and kept mainly original. The architecture boast 11ft ceilings, 10in baseboards, 5in trim, and a stately pocket door to give you an idea of the St. Louis charm. Please note that the pocket door can be closed transitioning the living room space into a private fourth sleeping area. The remarkably finished attic space can be either a secluded master suite or a space for a group of kiddos to have a sleep over depending on your needs.
This area of St. Louis is known as "Dogtown" which is highly sought after because the area is very safe and the location is excellent for getting around St. Louis. With The Victorian Penthouse located on the edge of "Dogtown", you are also very close to Mapelwood, which has numerous bars, restaurants, and shops about half a mile away.
  • This was our second time staying with Korey and we had a wonderful time again! The mattress on the king bed is divine, there’s ample space (and hot water) and the location was perfect for us. Thanks again, Korey!

  • What a great spot! The"penthouse" is unique, charming and very well appointed. The finished attic in particular was a gem. Plenty of spaces to sit and read, gather, or take a nap. The kitchen had everything we needed, and I particularly appreciated the helpful little notes around the house. Great location in STL!

  • A great location at a great price! We loved this spacious and stylish space in Dogtown where we could spread out. We also appreciated off-street parking. • JoAnn is an amazing host! She is mindful and strikes a perfect balance between being available and allowing space. It is not easy to share a home with someone, but JoAnn does it with kind graciousness! Because the room is on the third floor, there are stairs-but the plus side is it is extremely quiet AND you get daily exercise 😊! I enjoyed being able to walk anywhere-to the park, the gardens, to church, for coffee or a bite. As a single woman I felt completely safe. I highly recommend JoAnn’s place!

    Eileen2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • JoAnn was amazing! Parking is just right in front of the house, location is easy to assess to many good restaurants, the famous Botanic garden, museums, highways, etc. Making life so much easier and really pleasant as I am new to St. Louis for my internship!

The amenities are great, and you have a good amount of dedicated space in the kitchen for any supplies you might need. A word of warning though, be ready to traverse two floors of stairs often!

  • This condo met our needs perfectly. We attended a large convention in downtown at America’s Center. We were close to downtown and had access to many great restaurants and shopping. The condo was perfectly clean and we were delighted to be able to bring our two dogs with us. Would 10/10 recommend!

Great location, well furnished, balcony, next to a famous deli, a Starbucks, four great restaurants, with many others nearby. Close to Washington University, Forest Park, Chase Park Plaza movie theater, the famous Delmar Loop & trolley, the Central West End district, Barnes Hospital, etc. Also only twenty minutes from the airport. Complimentary wine and regional snacks provided. Keurig machine and variety of pods provided. Two bicycles provided.
Well-furnished, fully appointed, friendly welcoming space. Second floor condo just near the business district, along scenic Wydown boulevard leading to Forest Park. Walking or biking distance to everything.
Wydown Forest is a prized neighborhood that is centrally located in Clayton. Located behind the corner of Hanley and Wydown, this neighborhood is tree-lined and, due to the small lots and shallow set-backs, exudes a "Vieille Ville" charm. Most of the homes were built between the mid-1920s through mid-1930s in period revival styles. The homes carry many architectural details that are often only seen in larger homes. A few of the homes were even designed by the famed St. Louis luxury architecture firm of Maritz & Young. One of the more affordable Clayton neighborhoods, sold prices range from the $300s to the mid $600s for larger, more up-to-date homes. If there were such a thing as a price-to-walkability ratio, Wydown Forest might have the best in town. Residents enjoy walking to Downtown Clayton, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Washington University, and the metro-link for quick access to BJC, Busch Stadium and St. Louis City. If you are a runner or cyclist, the neighborhood is an ideal starting point for a trip down Wydown Blvd to Forest Park, the Zoo, the Science Center, the History Museum and much, much more.
  • Fabulous location for accessing all of Clayton. Only a few steps from a Starbucks, four great restaurants and a great deli.

  • Great location above a Starbucks but not much noise. Nice entertainment system and very friendly host. Lots of places to walk to so no car needed, but if you have one, good safe parking.

    Kevin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This review comes after my sixth visit to Jason's place in as many weeks. (You can see my earlier reviews by scrolling through.) Every visit has exceeded my expectations, and Jason's place has been my home away from home on Mondays through Wednesdays. It's comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped. It is always spotless, and the linens and towels are fresh. Coffee maker? Yes. Coffee? Yes. Milk/Cream? Yes. Shampoo and conditioner? Yes. Body wash? Yes. Toothbrush if you forgot? Yes. And so on . . . My previous reviews spoke of the location, and let me emphasize that it is perfect if you have business in Clayton or at WashU. There is parking if you come in a car. If not, everything is a short walk or quick Uber ride. And restaurants are just around the corner. Even on Monday nights when most eateries close you can go to I Fratellini for a terrific Italian dinner. Prefer a latte in the am? Starbuck's is downstairs. And value? The rates are lower than other nearbly places, places that are not nearly as comfortable. Jason's place is now my go-to spot for future visits to STL. It should be yours as well.

  • Jason’s home is a nice option in the Clayton area. It has a lot of charm and nice touches provided by the host, and the area is very convenient, with stress-free parking and easy access to everything in the surrounding area. Jason was very quick and helpful whenever we had any questions.

This is a one of a kind 2 bedroom shotgun home basically on top of "The Hill". Ideal location where you can walk to the italian markets, restaurants, and deli's on "The HIll". Centrally located very close to the hospitals, botanical garden, zoo, forest park, and art museum and close ride share to downtown. Private back yard with garage access. No basement access.
This is an old shotgun home that is over 100 years old and is in a great central location. Directly accross the street is location where the Columbia Theatre opened in 1926 but is now a private residence. You can see the Arch from the front of the house.
Old italian based neighborhood with great restaurants, deli's, and markets.
  • Location was pbenomial. Garage was a joke. I drive a compact car and had issues parking and exiting it.

  • This house is exactly as advertised and even better in person, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Mike went above and beyond in making sure that my stay was enjoyable and his generosity in allowing me to park my truck in his garage was much appreciated, you will be hard pressed to find another property with all of the amenities or for the price so don’t hesitate if you are debating whether or not to get it, you won’t be disappointed!!! And the bath/jacuzzi was very therapeutic and enjoyable as well, I will definitely be back Soon!

  • My wife and my in-laws spent 4 comforting nights at this true hidden gem. We were about 10 minutes from Washington University as we were attending Parents Weekend along with Grandparents as an added surprise to our son. The home itself was pleasant and had a real home feel to it. Our family of 4, including 2 senior citizens, were cozy and relaxed. There were great places to dine, coffeehouses and a Schnucks Supermarket on nearby Manchester Rd. I have to say that after several visits to see our son at Wash U over these past 3 years and staying in standard hotels this was a very satisfying experience. We had plenty of room inside, a great deck in the backyard, fire pit and 2 small BBQ grills we used for a quick afternoon meal. This home deserves consideration if you are visiting St. Louis for Washington University, a weekend of baseball or a fun filled multitude of attractions!

  • Amazing location. Everything is close by. Very comfortable and relaxing to stay at.

    Sergio2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a hidden gem! We enjoyed being tucked just outside the unique town of Maplewood. Be sure to read "things to do" that Joe has listed, but our favorites were two restaurants called Michael's Bar and Grill, and Living Room. We enjoyed all the little shops along Manchester. Everyone in this town is so nice!

    Ruth2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in this Maplewood home. For one thing, Kathy and I both like old houses (ours is a 1912 shotgun bungalow in Portland Oregon). And for another, we enjoy sitting outside and reading, working, talking, etc. So the nice deck with the view of your quiet back yard was very much enjoyed. We probably spent the most time there because there always seemed to be a nice little breeze, so with the shade, it was very comfortable. We even enjoyed the passage of the occasional train; For Kathy, her grandparents lived about he same distance from the main line going through Salem, Oregon and the clickety clack sound would lull her to sleep as a child. Personally, when I lived in St. Louis, I lived quite a few years in two different houses over in Webster, further up that line I believe. When my son was little, we spent a lot of afternoons waving at the trains going by near Tuxedo station. And for me also, the sound at night was a sort of romantic, comforting sound as the trains rolled by. We found everything we needed and were able to relax and enjoy visiting with our son and his family and friends from my St. Louis days. I suspect we will be back when we return for another visit.

Welcome to St. Louis! This quiet and safe place is only minutes of walking distance to the Cathedral, Forest park, Zoo, grocery store, and some of the finest restaurants in St. Louis. It is also 7 min drive to Delmar loop, 8-min to Clayton, 7 min to downtown. You will get a cozy bedroom in the basement to stay for the night. We will share the kitchen, dining room, and the living room, which are all clean and tidy. Metrolink stop, bus stops, are close and easy to find in the neighborhood.
Meant for working professionals only. If your from Saint Louis you will not be allowed to book this room. This room is my office/bedroom and I only rent it out when I am not using it. But in case of emergency I might ask to enter to grab something out of office. You'll have a private bedroom in the basement with a brand-new bed, desk, and chair. It is 100 square feet and has a tv with Netflix and Amazon Prime. We'll share the kitchen, dining room, and the living room. There is a full bathroom in the basement. There is also a heater and a fan in the room. If there is any questions or problems you just tell me and I will try to fix it. Make sure to ask about my ride share service from and to the airport.
Historical neighborhood in the heart of Central West End. Very friendly and diverse neighborhood.

  • It's really lucky for me to find a room in Heather's house. It's quite near to WashU and the Metrolink station, also in the walking distance to United Provisions which sells Asian foods. Heather and the roomate Beata are very nice people. And I couldn't forget the night when they invited me to their party, where they made a fire in the yard and made the baked marshmellow (amazing taste!). Heather's warm-hearted and helped me a lot during my short stay. Thank her for all these.

I didn't get to know Heather very well, since she was also traveling that weekend, but our interactions were super warm. I would completely recommend staying with her, whether you are visiting the university or simply touristing in the city.

  • My first visit to St. Louis and didn't want to leave. So much to see and do! Heather's space is perfect to relax see the sites - very close to public transit and I rented a bike for a day. I stored some food in the fridge and the kitchen has exactly what you need. Bed comfy and shower - lovely. Used the laundry facilities, so convenient. I lucked out as Heather was available to introduce me to a couple local events making the visit so rich and engaging. Forest Park is nearby and worth a visit - it will take at least a day to enjoy the free museums and zoo! Thank you for an exceptional Airbnb experience.

  • Simon was a great host, he always answered my questions super quickly and gave us great tips when we arrived, which is worth seeing. The entire apartment is decorated in a very chic style & the room is very large & spacious. The private bathroom is right next to the room and there is free parking on the property. The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood. A self-check-in is possible at any time thanks to a code lock on the front door. Simon is very friendly, funny and humorous, we sat together one evening and had a lot of fun. The entire property was spotlessly clean, I highly recommend it.
