The North Fork Riverbend boasts the Huckleberry Hideaway! A tiny log cabin located along the Mt Baker National forest! Perched along the North Fork of the Nooksack River! Country Guesthouse

A quiet, tidy little craftsman home 20 miles from the Mt. Baker National Forest and 40 miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The Middle Fork of the Nooksack and it's wildlife is a short walk to the north. We have a strict cancellation policy but we are really pretty accommodating. If you cancel within 30 days of your stay we will bank those lost funds for future use at any available time in the future. A final note: we require that you be vaccinated and boosted. This sweet little 800 square foot cabin has all the charm you need for your mountain getaway. Our hot tub is the perfect place for a soak after a day of snowboarding, skiing, or hiking out on Mount Baker. Do some shopping at our local apothecary in town or grab some essentials from the little grocery only a few miles from the cabin! Enjoy some pizza and a brew from The North Fork Brewery on your way down to Bellingham to see the Puget Sound. Adventure in every direction!

Enjoy this beautiful setting situated between the charming city of Bellingham and the world class Mt. Baker Ski Area. You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

We built this tiny house after a trip to Japan where we fell in love with the concept of “shinrin-yoku” (forest bathing or taking in the forest atmosphere). Even though this property is located within a small, private neighborhood, the forest and a rushing creek can be enjoyed from every area. Try your hand at tiny home living in the 196 square foot space. Or cheat a little and sit outside on the cute little porch or creekside deck.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, play bocce, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill.
