Super nice and spacious apartment in a vibrant neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. Carol and Marc were extremely accommodating , helpful and friendly. Super comfy bed too! Would highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at Carol and Marc’s place. I felt like I was at home or staying with relatives. That’s how comfortable and welcoming they were. The place was as described. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, very clean. Carol and Marc made great suggestions for breakfast and dinner. They went above and beyond what was expected of them. The bed was so comfortable. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have taken advantage of the terrace (next time). I highly recommend Carol and Marc’s place. This is the place you want to stay when visiting New York. Everything you can think of is just outside there door.

This is a large, clean and comfortable 3rd floor apartment with keyed elevator. Felt completely safe walking around at night. Very quiet street. Just 3 blocks to metro and trains taking you uptown. Great coffee shops and lots of cultures and cuisines to explore nearby. The hosts know every nook and cranny of the lower east side, so ask for their recommendations. Would stay there again.

This is a shared apartment. Marc and Carol live in the back when you are there. It is an amazing place in a great location. Marc and Carol are kind and respect your space and are also engaging if you are. It is a great way to feel at home away from home in NYC.

We really enjoyed our stay with Marc and Carol. They both are delightful hosts and had so many suggestions for us first timers to NYC. We were given a guide ahead of time of so many things to do, places to see, and places to eat. Check in was super easy and a bit early, which didn’t seem to be a problem at all this particular day. Marc gave a short tutorial showing us how to get in the building and how to use the elevator. It was great not to have to navigate stairs with suitcases. The apartment was spacious and spotless and we had access to everything we needed. Having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash already there for us to use was nice. Especially since you don’t have to pack it in your suitcase, which makes it a bit lighter for the airport. We didn’t use the kitchen much as we didn’t want to cook for ourselves, but it seemed to have everything you’d need if you did decide to cook. The internet was great and there were lots of choices for tv streaming services. After a long day of walking outside in the cold, it was nice to get back, curl up on the sofa with lots of pillows, have a nice fire in the fireplace, and watch a little tv. Only bad thing was that we didn’t have enough time to see and do all the things we wanted. Well, that means we’ll need to come back and we will have this fantastic place to stay!

This place is AMAZING - the pictures don’t do it justice (the tub is a jacuzzi!)!! Carol and Marc were consummate hosts, their hospitality generous without being intrusive. The location is so close to the subway, we were able to easily travel throughout the city with no trouble at all, and the area was and felt safe at all times. We can’t wait to return to the city and spend more time there!!! Thank you 😊

Right in the heart of Manhattan, you don’t have to Uber anywhere! Times Square is literally a 2 minute walk. Super friendly hotel staff, and the room is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for pictures (I took a bunch) I am definitely staying again.

place is just as described! clean, cozy little studio with some lovely old world touches. the building is a walk-up, but it is a manageable two flights of stairs. the area around the apartment is full of things to do and see. we appreciated the provided coffee and tea supplies in the kitchen and the bed was very comfortable! stefanie was very easy to communicate with and kept us updated in a timely manner!

Great place, great area. The place itself is very clean, and also very nice. The area is nice and quiet, you’re around many restaurants and little stores. The place is supplied with many different things. Also, 2 TVs all the apps you need on it, (netflix, youtube, hulu) Going to NYC is so easy, $3.50 by bus to and from. Also, $9 ferry boat option. Overall, this place is awesome. I will be sure to stay here always when I come back to the area.

I had a such a wonderful experience at Eden’s apartment. It is in an amazing location, around corner from Central Park, close to the Times Square for theater and cool restaurants, and also close to the majority of subway stations. Such a cool area. The apartment itself is beautiful and very comfortable staying. I already missed my time there. Eden was awesome host and helped us get settled in. He gave me all great tips for getting around the area.

This apartment is perfect to enjoy a NYC experience: clean, safe, convenient, quiet - lots of light! Walkable score of 10 out of 10! Walk to many NYC’s attractions: Central Park, Times Square, Columbus Circle, Museums and so many more. Close to major public transportation: subway lines, buses, Amtrak, NJTransit, etc. Owners were responsive and answered all of our questions and offered perfect suggestions for restaurants, groceries, deliveries. We will be back :)

This was an immaculate and very private space. The hosts were super responsive and available. I highly recommend . The M train is so close and it takes you everywhere in NY. Seneca has lots of options for food and coffee! It was great. I’ll be back for sure!

Michael was awesome at the check in and let us really useful amenities. The place has a good location, with two subway and bus stations near, so if you want to see Manhattan you won't have problems.

Micheal is a great host, he was kind to welcome us with details such as waffles and fruits, he explained the basics about the neighborhood and the city. Its apartment is comfortable and cozy, well equipped and above all it has a very good location just a few steps from the subway, which allows you to move around the city, also has supermarkets and good restaurants a few meters away.

to book with your eyes closed .... the location is great, 5 minutes from the metro which takes you to Time Square and downtown NY ... a supermarket opposite the metro station .... the studio is good, a mezzanine bed and a sofa bed for a family of 4 is perfect! We find in the studio the first necessities, very practical (salt, sugar, toilet paper, paper towel, shower gel ....) ... Michael is a very nice host who gives advice the first day ... which is very available. He even kept our suitcases on the last day since we took off at 9:30 pm !! ... I highly recommend !! Thank you again we had a great stay

Michael’s place is centrally located to a lot of Harlem attractions such as Apollo Theater & Jazz History Museum. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. It’s a super cute space and I’d definitely book it again. The subway and buses were a short walk from the loft. Micheal also provided snacks and drinks which came in handy!

I enjoyed John's unique apartment. It's a pretty good size with separation between the bedroom and living room. It was in a good location without too much street noise (bed is way in the back so no problems there), strong wifi and a large desk for working. John was accommodating of my large dogs as well. The shower/tub in the living room is certainly unique and I made it work but could be challenging for some.

Homey place. Excellent location at the heart of East Village. Friendly and responsive host. I couldn't ask for more. I've stayed at many airbnb locations in nyc. This was one of my most memorable stays.

John's apartment is a cozy and comfortable place, ideal for one person or a couple. John takes care of all questions and inquiries almost immediately. We stayed there for one month in order to get a longterm visit in NY started and for this purpose it was perfect. The price is decent for this area. Subway is a 10-15 minute walk away, but there are buses very close by. The area of east village is amazing, with heaps of international restaurants (within walking distance you find, for example, a German, Georgian, Serbian, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Austrian restaurant), a nice park and friendly people. Put together, for two people this place is optimal for a short or midterm visit and for one person even for a longterm visit (in the long run it might be a little small for two people, depending on what you are used to).

Great place and great value. John is a very good host and is really thoughtful in making sure his guests have what they need. He's punctilious about changing the sheets and towels (and straightening up) every week, and has a number of city guides in the room. I didn't need any hints on where to go or what to do, but I have no doubt he could have provided them. While 7th Street can get a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, closing the windows mitigates a lot of that. The East Village is one of my favorite parts of town, and I couldn't have had a better or more "local" experience. I'd happily stay there again.

Had a great stay at Johns apartment. The location is great and safe even if you walk back late at night. The studio is small but comfortable for one person and has all the amenities you need including tv, cable, internet and AC. The tub is in the middle of the room with no shower head but it's not as bad as it sounds and you get used to it. Although the closest subway is 15/20 min walk away there are many bars and restaurants nearby. John is a great host and always checked to make sure I was comfortable and changed my towels and sheets regularly. Would recommend! Thanks John

Nora’s appartment is very well located with a lot of close subway limes that allow you to explore Manhattan very quickly. Its a very clean and cosy private suite. Nora is an excepcional host and leave her guests completly at ease! When I return to NY I will certainly look for this appartment again.

The flat was in a great location with great bars and restaurants near by as well as subway stations and bus stops. Flat was lovely and the room was great with the private bathroom (which I found hard to find in New York). Would recommend staying there and we would happily stay there again!

The bright place is an apt name for the apartment as well as for Nora, who is a wonderful hostess! The place is conveniently located near great eats of all varieties is just steps from China town and convenient to all things in South East Manhatten. If you drive, Confusious Parking is $40 earlybird before 11 am and just a 10 min walk.

If you’re traveling to NYC do yourself a favor and stay here! The room is beautiful with the a stunning private bathroom. It blew my expectations out of the water. I felt safe in the area and there were many things to do. Nora was so sweet and warm- I felt welcome.

Our stay at Hotel Mela was perfect for out visit into the city for a concert. The location was ideally located, the staff was friendly and helpful! We will be staying again in the future.

As many others have mentioned, there is an additional $50 fee upon arrival. But the hotel room was clean and cute and perfect for a one night stay!! I felt safe and I was in great proximity to everywhere I needed to be.

Fantastic everything.

Check in at Abram’s place was super smooth, with prompt contact/responses over WhatsApp. It’s on the 33rd floor of the building (so good views from the windows!) but there are multiple, reliable elevators to get you there in just a few seconds. Great kitchen for preparing breakfast or even a full meal if you like! The apartment is spacious, with a massive bed. Tv with Netflix and cable to chill out with in the evening :) One thing to note, there is no ceiling light in the living room or bedroom - only lamps - which doesn’t matter so much in the bedroom but if you’re in the living room for the evening you would struggle to do things that require light, like reading a book, as it’s a little on the dark side. However, this doesn’t take away from the fact that the apartment is in a great location - walking distance to both Central Park and Times Square, easy 10 minute walk to the subway and there’s a Whole Foods market nearby for all your grocery needs. Abram was always quick to respond to messages, and I would recommend his space :)

You can expect timely, friendly communication, super easy check-in, a very clean and fresh apartment, beautiful linens that are dangerously comfortable, and a north-facing view of the Hudson with an amazing photo-op as the sun sets reflecting off of the neighboring buildings. Plenty of space for 3 people, including closets, cabinets, etc. Parking is available under the building, which was a bit pricey, but worth it because it was so convenient and the staff there was incredibly friendly. We walked everywhere and there is no shortage of nearby conveniences. Thank you Abram!

We stayed here the first week of December. The apartment was warm, clean and in a really good location with times square about a 20 minute walk away, the nearest tube station a 10 minute walk and central park a 15 minute walk. The communication was great from initial booking through to check in, and the apartment was all set up ready with the sofa bed made up when we arrived. Definitely would stay here again!

I got stuck here during the pandemic and couldn’t have asked for nicer people to be with. Marco and Linda’s is a clean efficiency apartment with fluffy towels and sheets (which they offered to change often), a huge can of Lysol, small kitchenette, etc. They were communicative and Marco even fixed my laptop! Pretty much all of the tourist attractions are within walking distance and you would be hard pressed to find more affordable accommodation in Midtown. There is also a TV with an HDMI component so you can watch anything if you bring a cord.

Maeco's apartment is very welcoming .. ideal for 1 excuse me. Close to many points of interest .. like to walk. And the very nice neighborhood

Although I was unable to stay for unforeseen circumstances, Marco was excellent, answered all questions I had as well as very friendly and helpful. I would recommend his place any time and hopefully soon in the future I’ll be able to come and stay while in NYC.

Hidden gem in midtown Manhattan. Location is about the best you can find on Airbnb and the space is very clean. My sheets were changed on the third day I was there and the room was cleaned as well,!which was so sweet. This studio apartment is also silent and Marco’s family lives opposite it in case you need their help for anything (they are very welcoming)

If you want to stay somewhere that is close to the subway and away from tourists, this place is for you! The space is tiny, but functional with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom (no living area). It worked great for two people. The space is pretty clean and comfortable. It is only about a 3 minute walk to the closest subway, which can take you just about everywhere! This place is also super close to Brooklyn, if that matters to you. This apartment is nestled in Chinatown, walking distance to SoHo, and the area may seem a little intimidating at first, but we walked around it at night and never felt unsafe. There is a train that runs right above the building all through the night and even though I am a light sleeper, the noise didn't bother me at all (I actually kind of liked it). D&N were also super accomadating with letting us check-out a few hours late due to us having an evening flight. Definitely recommend staying here!

It's perfect location and apartment with comfortable dimensions for a couple.

Excellent space - was expecting something much smaller. The space was very clean, and I appreciated they had coffee around. They were also very welcoming and responded quickly to any concerns. The train was not as loud as I was expecting, and I am a very light sleeper. Overall, very happy with our stay!

This is the first time my friends and I have been to NYC and we felt that this apartment gave us the best NYC experience!! Also, Ethan was very amicable (gave great recommendations) and super communicative (we knew exactly what to do and where to go, the stay was pretty seamless).

Excellent location of the apartment.

This was our (my best friend and I) first time in NYC. We were a little nervous about not knowing nah of the areas and feeling safe but this AirBNB was amazing! It was right by a bunch of really fun bars, the little shop right next door was super cute. It is 3 stories up and the stair case was a little steep, so keep that in mind while packing! We packed all of our stuff in a backpack, which was ideal in this situation. We didn’t use any of the amenities in the house (kitchen, TV, etc) but everything was very clean and tidy. The bathroom is small but just what we needed. Being from Florida, neither of us have ever used/seen a radiator, which is what keeps the place warm. One night we got back and it was making a strange noise (to us) and I texted the owner and he was quick to respond and said that was normal as it adjusts to the temperature (for those of you who don’t have experiences with radiators). It was also super close to Time Square. We would absolutely stay here again! As two women in a big city, we felt very safe here, which was super important to us!

The flat its gonna make you feel like in your home if you are looking for a comfortable place to stayed this one is the correct for you. It’s really close to times squares and for the subways station. The flat it’s clean and Ethan it’s a great host.

Great place all round! Ethan was very helpful particularly with suggestions to nice local restaurants. The check in and out was extremely flexible, he will work around you as best as possible! The location of the apartment is second to none, brilliant to access all the main sight seeing areas as well as bars, restaurants and the subway! The apartment holds a very warm cosy atmosphere which is perfect to relax in when you come in from walking around New York for 12 hours a day! The additional facilities inside the apartment other then the normal appliances are very beneficial to have..great Tv, Wifi, dishwasher, ( huge frost-free fridge/freezer for lots of wine, beer and snacks!), hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I would like to thank Ethan once again for a spectacular stay and I highly recommend booking this apartment.

Very clean apartment located in the heart of Greenwich Village. It's a 5 floor walk-up, so wear your walking shoes. But it's convenient to everything and Jennifer is a super-responsive and helpful host.

Great stay! Would stay here again, centrally located and a great value. There was a fair amount of street noise but it didn't bother us since we used to live in New York. If you're a light sleeper it may bother you.

Jennifer's place is in an amazing location! Right around the street from so many bars and restaurants and she was very responsive. Aside from the trek up the stairs the apartment couldn't have been better. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall great place. Very close to everything. The photos are a little misleading. I thought I was getting the whole apartment. It’s a four bedroom apartment that is shared. The room did come with its own bathroom. I definitely would stay again.

It’s location is an ideal spot, near great attractions that are within walking distances. The host is super responsive and have some great tips. We will definitely be booking again!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The building is very nice and new and in a great part of town. Coming from a city where there are some unsafe areas, I have to say that I have never felt so comfortable and safe in different city before. This spot is on the 27th floor with a good view of the Hudson. You have your own bathroom with this room which is the selling point for me. The heater is awesome and I’m sure the a/c is too as it is all updated and new. Shower was hot, you can use the kitchen and fridge if needed but be courteous of space. I really don’t have a single negative thing to say about staying here. The host was very accommodating to our schedule and made it extremely convenient when we needed anything. Some useful info for future guests: your two blocks off of the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. Your 20 minutes walking to Times Square. Your 20 minutes walking to most broadway shows. Your right down the street from the Hudson Yards (sadly, I didn’t make it there) and There’s a bus stop nearby but no subway entrances for about a 10 minute walk. Like I said, everything is super close and most things are within walking distance and when they aren’t, the Uber/Lyft will pick you up right in the driveway of the building which only adds to the convenience of staying here. All in all, 10/10 at this Air BnB.

Absolutely great ! I enjoyed every lil but if the room , I did not want to leave at all . Clean , cozy the shower get hot location it very good hospitality is nice . I thought it be bigger from the picture . Don’t look at the pictures . But other than that I enjoyed every lil bit of the room .

Having lived in the city before, I chose to stay in FIDI primarily for its safety and location. I came across WeLive and loved how chic and stylish the complex looked. We did not check in until 2am (late flight) and the gentleman at the front desk was beyond accommodating and welcoming. Our room was absolutely beautiful and modern. It was sparkling clean, which is a huge deal for me! I felt safe and highly accommodated (even when we asked for additional blankets). On top of that, upon check-out, they held onto our luggage so we could explore more before catching our evening flight. I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in town. It may not be the most central location, but it is close to many sight seeing opportunities. Not to mention, the wall street and fulton street stations are a short 5-10 minute walk. I would highly recommend this AirbNb to anyone and would certainly stay again!

We Live feels like a home away from home. It's in the perfect location. The staff was courteous and friendly.

Great value for a great place. Location is very strategic to get into uptown and brooklyn. Convenience store is located around the corner. The room is the same as a hotel room but with greater value deal.

Apartment extremely well located, in a straight line from the metro to all tourist activities and within walking distance of Central Park. Several good restaurants nearby. Michael is very warm and friendly, the apartment is cozy but not exceptionally clean. I would go there again without hesitation!

This was a fabulous place with a very cool bed set-up that offered plenty of space. Michael provided an amount of amenities that helped out a lot. The apartment is in a great location close to the subway, with a cute local coffee shop right down the block. Had a great time!

Michael is a real cool dude! A gentleman and a scholar, he has a super personality, is the "host with the most", has a great place in an ideal location. He is extremely helpful and fun and we loved staying there. The bed is a loft but he gives options of sleeping on lower ground. We took the challenge and it was super comfortable -- I had one of the best sleeps I'd had in a long time as a matter of fact. His home is centrally located in Harlem, near all the key spots: Apollo, Red Rooster, Studio Museum, etc. The 125th subway is right there and also there's a great coffee spot doors away from his house. Michael know everything about the Big Apple and will get your itinerary straight if you need him to! Hope to go back soon!

I can say this is a place which is the best I have ever stayed since I started my plan of travlling round the world for the rest of my life. It is a comfortable room in a very nice and well located neighborhood.

The two hosts are very kind, especially Sergio, who generously offered me almost the whole afternoon stay in house waiting for my flight after checkout time. Thanks to their considerable and flexible manner. The most amazing part of this house would be the location, a couple of steps from upper west Central Park. Outsides, the room is quite cozy and reasonably priced.

Amazing place to stay. Near the Penn Station and many places in Manhattan.

Due to the coronovirus crazy mood I had to leave NY before arriving at Maria’s place. The only thing I could say is that it is in a super location near everything, by walking or transportation.

This place is clean, close to everything, provides a good breakfast, and is very safe. Just bring some earplugs for the evening and you’ll have an absolutely lovely stay :)
