Michelle is a attentive host and did everything in order to make us feel very welcome. Communication was very easy, we always got a reply within a few hours. The cottage itself is newly painted, well equipped, and has a modern bath. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance (f.ex. Old Key Lime House or Konabay Cafe at Ocean Av.). There is also a publix just around the corner. We can highly recommend this cottage.

We can recommend this delightful, beautiful home to those seeking a large modern kitchen, big dining room / bar facing the intercostal , huge master with deck, master bath, two separate bedrooms downstairs, and bonus pool house. The saltwater pool was divine. Moneca's home was a refuge from the hustle and bustle with an amazing view. The sunrises are spectacular on the large rear deck - perfect for morning coffee and the paper. The town of Lantana is a hidden gem with a cute Main Street where we found Good Vibes coffee and Juice Bar. They even deliver! The home's location was convenient to everything - between Palm Beach, Delray Beach, airports, shopping and good restaurants were all within minutes. There is a great bike path on A1 (just over the bridge). Moneca (our host) was very receptive to our needs and responded quickly. Staying a month gave us ample opportunity to explore, relax, and enjoy. We would stay here again.

Moneca was amazing. She was such a welcoming host. The house was clean and in a great location. It was the perfect place for our family to spend Christmas.

Monica is the hostess wwith the mostest! And her house was even more awesome than I imagined! Monica was available for any questions during the stay and provided everything we needed and more. The house was absolutely perfext and even includes a full body massage chair! It's like having your own mini resort. Dream kitchen and bbq for foodies (grocery store 2 min drive). Private oasis pool and beach (plus gorgeous public beach 15 min walk). One of the best bars/restaurants 2 min walk if you want some fun and live music right on the water called Old Key Lime House. This is a special property with a gorgeous landscaped pool and patio area and breathtaking views of the inter coastal. Monica is a generous and gracious host who extend herself to make sure that her guests enjoy her lovely home. We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer!

Moneca was a wonderful host. The house was beautiful, very clean and extremely well appointed. There was some food and fruits to welcome us! This details reveal how thoughtful and welcoming our host was. We had such an amazing time watching the birds in the backyard, cooking and swimming in the heated pool. We had a family gathering planned and everybody had an amazing time! Moneca made sure our stay was perfect and went above and beyond accommodate some last minute changes. Walking through the first set of doors into the pool courtyard and through the house to a view of the intercostal out the back was a blissful experience. Moneca's home was well appointed and offered just about anything you could dream in the kitchen. The home is cozy or it can be a great place to entertain. Moneca is willing to answer any and all questions before you arrive and will stay in communication during your stay if you wish. This is a wonderful place to rest and relax.

I was delighted with how quickly Linda responded to my request to book her property. I was even more delighted when my husband and I actually saw the property. It was everything she had claimed and more. There is a wonderful little pool that we both enjoyed. The apartment is clean, sunny and spacious. We loved that it had cable TV and a washer and dryer--all of the amenities that we could want. It also had very pleasant views from the dining room/living room and master bedroom. To top it all off, the price was extremely reasonable! We will definitely go back and also recommend it to all of our friends. Linda is also very easy to reach and helpful. Gail

We had planned to stay a month. After being unable to do some internet work, we decided to move after a week. Linda was great to work with and understood the problem. The area is great for parks and wildlife. Many parks within 25 mile radius.

Linda is a fabulous host. If I needed anything she responded very quickly. I love staying in the condo. It has been my home away from home

Linda is very helpful and responsive! Her place is spacious and clean. We enjoyed the tennis courts as well. Depends on what you need during your stay, but for example the wifi connection is bad, only worked in the living room (maybe) and kept dropping off- but I believe Linda was going to fix that for future guests though. You may also to use earplugs at night because of the train that comes through Lantana super loud on most nights and at many hours, the place is close to the tracks.

This place was perfect... We were working down in Pam Beach renovating another condo. We did not know of Linda's condo until a month after being down there. It was too bad that we spent wasted money on the first place. Linda was great. I couldn't have asked for a nicer host. I still have not met Linda, but in speaking to her on the telephone, she was very pleasant. The condo was not what I thought. It was much more spacious than the pictures showed. There was NOT a thing that we needed. If I could afford it, I would make an offer to purchase it. It is in a great location... We were only 5 minutes from the beach (which of course I was unable to enjoy due to work)... I would recommend this anyone with or without children. Even though I was 200 miles from my own home, I surely felt at home here... Thank you Linda...

Great, easy stay. We brought 5 children and had easy access to the beach, restaurants and a nature preserve.

The house was very nice. This is my second time staying there. And I would love to stay there again in the future!

The Captain's House was nothing short of spectacular! The house itself was a classic, restored grand residence with beautiful bedrooms and fantastic common spaces. Together with the guest house, the property made for the perfect accommodations for my growing family of eight (grandparents, parents, siblings, etc.). The diamond in the crown, however, is the backyard, which is meticulously kept and fronts the Intracoastal. We spend most of our time out back, taking in the peaceful environs! Wendy was the perfect host, answering all the questions we had and arranging for swift check-in and check-out. I can't wait to visit again!

Had a wonderful couple days at the Captains House. It's lovely and cozy inside and fully stocked. Wendy and her housekeeper were also incredibly flexible about check in and check out and were always available for anything even though it was over the holidays. My parents had never AirBNB'ed and were initially very hesitant. Thanks to Wendy and her house they are very likely to do it again. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at the Captain's House. The outside areas - pool, garden, private beach and front terrace - are the highlights. Wendy and her housekeeper, Lana, were very helpful and responsive to all our needs. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great weekend. Wendy's house was as nice as described in her write up and pictures. She was very accommodating. The set up was perfect for a family getaway, large dinning table for family dinners and my older kids loved having a separate apartment off the private courtyard. Location was very convenient, close to restuarants and beach and the back yard was perfect with a pool and private sandy beach and morning sunrises on the intercostal.

Everything as advertised and more! Apartment is clean and well appointed. Community is very well maintained and abounds with amenities such as two pools, a hot tub, a great gym, and an exercise par course. Great view of the intracoastal waterway from the pool. Location is convenient to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. Alison is very responsive and accommodating.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for a week in March and enjoyed it. The location was perfect for us since I needed to work in the area. The apartment is just as described and shown in the images. The apartment is in a gated community that is nice and quiet, within minutes' walk to pool and Jacuzzi and a short drive to the famous Old Key Lime House restaurant, and two supermarkets (Dixie & Publix). Costco is also not too far. It is a lovely small apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a private toilette and bathtub, a modern galley kitchen, and open layout for dining room & living room. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of hangers in the closets. There are two cable TVs, one in the living room and the other in one of the bedrooms. There is also Wi-Fi that is easy to connect to. I enjoyed having a dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, and full size fridge the kitchen. Although the kitchen doesn’t have a coffee maker, I was able to borrow a percolator from an acquaintance. There is a porch outside the living room but we didn’t spend enough time in the apartment to enjoy it. I also didn’t use the washer & dryer that’s in the bathroom’s built-in closet. The apartment is on the second floor with no elevator but we don’t mind the stairs. At night the apartment is a bit dark and we wish there were more lamps available. Overall, this apartment served our needs and being able to use the swimming pool and Jacuzzi was a big plus. Alison was a great host, very welcoming and helpful and available as needed. We didn’t encounter any issues, the gate always opened up easily, and it was simply a pleasant experience.

I stayed at Alison's condo for 6 days with my two daughters. It was clean and comfortable, and in a gated community, so very safe. I texted with Alison to arrange to get into the complex, and she was easy to work with. The condo was not huge, but had plenty of room for 3 adults on vacation. The balcony was nice for morning coffee; the kitchen totally adequate for cooking, and the living room had a comfortable sectional and TV for relaxing. The king and queen sized beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom had one room for the bathtub and toilet with a second room for the bathroom sink and laundry which made getting ready a lot easier. The pool and hot tub area were quite inviting and well maintained. The entire complex was very clean and well manicured, and we felt very safe at all times. We would definitely stay in Alison's condo again should we vacation in the area.

Michele's place exceeded our expectations! We savored every moment in the privacy fence enclosed pool/tiki bar area and appreciated all the amenities available to us. There were even rafts to float on in the pool and a basketball net/ball in the yard. Another bonus was the house's location where we could walk 1 1/2 blocks to the Olde Key Lime House for meals/drinks on the water and drive 7 minutes to the Lake Worth public beach. Many shops and a nature preserve area were also within walking distance.The owner was readily accessible by phone/text with any questions we had. Hard to imagine how one could improve a beach vacation with such a beautifully decorated house in a great location. We would definitely recommend Michele's place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation and hope to rent it again for our family!

We loved our stay at Michele's house! The space was everything we could've asked for and more! The house was newly renovated and in a nice neighborhood that was close to the beaches. The pool and patio was a great area to spend a day grilling and swimming with friends. Michele was very attentive and always a text away. She made us feel right at home. I would definitely go back!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Michele's home in Lantana. We walked in the door to music playing and a friendly note from our host. Michele checked in with us via text message to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. The photos don't do the pool justice; it's absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed eating dinner outside around the tiki bar several nights during our stay, and we utilized the gorgeous, well-stocked kitchen daily. The neighborhood is great--quiet and scenic, and a very nice walk from the public beach. We loved the decor in Michele's place, and we loved the bath products even more--she provides from her own company, the Plum Island Soap Company. We would have stayed longer if we had been able to, and we hope to return.

Owners, Michele and Bill, greeted us warmly upon our arrival. We immediately felt at ease and at home. The house was spotless and decorated with style and comfort in mind. Bedding and linens were new, white and wonderful... they thought of everything! The newly renovated kitchen was well equipped and well stocked. Best of all, they created a lovely, totally private tropical retreat in the backyard. It had all kinds of palm trees, a perfect pool with floating rafts, and a tiki bar complete with frig, TV, and plenty of counter space to eat and drink around. My husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, as well as our five- and one-year-old grandsons had a blast! Even had a basketball hoop and punching bag in the back for extra fun. The nearby beach and restaurants were great too. We highly recommend this place... just hope it's available next time we can get away.

Michele & Bill made us feel at home the moment we walked through the door. This was our families first Airbnb experience and when we found this listing we fell in love. It was centrally located to so many wonderful activities that the area has to offer. The local restaurants on Ocean St. are fabulous and an enjoyable five minute walk away. Lantana beach is about a 6 minute drive away and it is stunning. To be honest our family of 5 enjoyed doing all these activities but our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE days on our vacation were the days we stayed put and did not leave the house. This place seriously has everything you need. Our family watched the SuperBowl on the Tv in the back yard Tiki Hut and enjoyed some music on there outdoor speaker system while the kids had a blast splashing in the pool and played basketball. The backyard was our own private oasis weather sipping drinks and relaxing in the hammock to grilling or playing cards on the deck. This place was a vacation on its own. The interior of the house did not disappoint either. We could have cooked a gourmet meal in the kitchen if we wanted to and the living space had room for everyone to veg out, munch on some popcorn and watch a movie in the evening on the HUGE tv screen. The bedrooms were so cozy and the bathrooms felt like we were at the spa. Do not pass up the opportunity to stay in this wonderful home its a recipe for creating great family memories. You know sometimes when you return home from vacation you almost need another vacation from the one you just took because you were so busy you never felt like you had any rest...Well that did not happen this time. We all came back feeling rested and relaxed and we owe it all to our AMAZING HOSTS Michele & Bill. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with our family.
