Beautiful location and quintessential Austrian pension! We felt like we had really gone back in time, and in a good way. Beautiful drive out to Malta and then the we pull into the small town and our cozy room. Everything was there that we needed. Clean bedroom and bathroom, good wifi, big kitchen and lounge area. You really feel like you are staying in the country and its so nice. We drove up the hill right behind the pension and there was a remarkable view from up there. I would highly recommend this place with the very welcoming and warm hosts. Cool location, great feel!

The rooms are very simple. A little bit of decoration would be nice... They were clean though and everything was as in the pictures and advertisement. The neighborhood is very beautiful and Maria was very friendly and took time to explain us what to do around. The next morning it took us some effort to find a place to have breakfast. We ended up driving to the next village where we enjoyed a nice breakfast. It was fine to stay here overnight on our trip back to Holland but I wouldn't stay here much longer...

Ingrid was very nice and helpful. The room was very spacious with 2 single beds together with your own toilet. Very clean and nice. The Internet was good. The guest house is in a valley near some waterfalls and nice walking trails. Recommend this place!

The hotel room was very nice and quiet! The location is super, there are not so many turists and a lot of locations to explore including a lot of waterfalls and hight mountains, really nice stay, we would like to go back for several days, highly recomanded for this price!!!

Our stay was short but sweet! Very comfortable beds, nice nature, fresh air and a wonderful host. We also enjoyed great breakfast full of "straight out of the garden" ingredients.

We have stayed here during a stopover in Croatia. It is a cozy bed and breakfast. The rooms are very neat. Our room had a balcony with beautiful mountain views and bathroom. The owners are lovely people and are very helpful.

Location to find anything difficult because the house numbers do not go in the right order. After house no 60 is their home. House has more rooms and therefore more tenants, does not bear any disadvantage. Wonderful location to ride the Nockalmstrasse and Maltahochalmstrasse.

Arrived in a downpour and left in the same conditions. The host received me well despite my condition, because traveling by scooter, I was soaked. I wish a warm drink Gertraud but has not proposed to me and I did not dare ask. When the rain subsided (for an hour), I was able to visit the village. Nice streets, cafes, general stores, austere castle. Very easy to park at the foot of the castle to walk then. Home, I rested. Beautiful landscape from the balcony. No TV in the room, new but unadorned. Bathroom new shower. perfect night in an extremely comfortable bed. exceptional breakfast. In quantity and variety with all homemade bread up. It is a farm, hunter, numerous trophies enthroned on the walls. Impressive. The hosts are discreet and very nice. Simply create a link with them. I appreciated their presence.

The hosts were very nice and we felt in Maltatal well. The room was very nice and clean, with stunning views. Gertraud gave us a good tip, where to eat in the evening (10 minutes walk from the Pension). In the morning there was a delicious breakfast of local foods and homemade jam. In addition, the hosts have a super sweet dog Aline :-) I can only recommend this guest house!

We can spend a very enjoyable time at Paul's Cottage. Contact with Paul by phone and email was extremely nice and he worried about everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The direct and immediate surroundings offer plenty of variety and spectacular. All in all, a memorable, peaceful time, in which we very good everyone could come to him with our 5-member family to us and. Thanks again for everything Paul !!

We liked staying in the house, it was larger than expected. Good beds with linnen and everything. We missed some modern things like a fridge, watercooker and a more modern way to cook than a wooden stove, but Paul was very helpful and would have brought some things if we didn't took care of it ourselves. The heating was good. Large flatscreen tv. Small toilet and shower above it doesn't make it easy to be used by many people in a row. There was no squeegee to wipe the floor. Dinnertable was large, but only two people at a time could sit on a small couch in front the tv. The warm water from the boiler was very good. Normal phone and sms didn't work, but there was a landline, wifi was good enough. All in all we enjoyed the quietness and nature very much. The house makes a good basecamp for walks above the treeborder.

The hut was an absolute dream for us. So we imagined a hut. Cooking on wood stove, spacious rooms, linen towels and much more everything was there. The condition of the hut is great, you can see that here much is invested in order to keep them in good shape. A little side note for future guests: if you really want to einkühlen food, you should bring an electric cooler. But the storeroom at the entrance of the hut is usually cool enough for normal food (for beer, if you do not want to necessarily cold ...) The surroundings are beautiful, you can very well go hiking with small children towards Stubeck, to eat in the (few steps away) Frido-Kordon-Hütte. What is particularly noticed was the very detailed check list with driving directions that will answer any questions that may arise. If we want to this region again, we took care immediately to this hut! Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy the Summer farms! The price-performance ratio is top, if we return to this region

Great host! We did not have any problems. Since we were the first guests of the Polish tried to even an interpreter to facilitate contact. Cottage very comfortable, clean and cozy. Beautiful surroundings! We regret that we were only one week. We would like to go back there. Thank you!

The holiday home in Malta Valley is an absolute must. We were greeted very nicely, everything went smoothly and quickly. We will come back!

We were welcomed so nice, everything was very simple, although we booked at very short notice. The house is really quite a nice idyllic place where you can have peace and quiet can relax, but can also go to the book tavern around the corner. We enjoyed also the garden. For us as climbers the house was the perfect place as a base in the climbing areas and to return the evening from climbing and can end the day a cozy place.

It was a nice stay. We had the whole house and nice garden just for ourselves. We can recommend it.

Contact with the owner was very easy, and responses to questions were very fast. The instructions to bring the car were very full, we have no problem to arrive. The house keys were recovered from the owner's parents, who live in a two minute drive. They spoke only German (and we only France or English), but a friend to them (who spoke English) to assist us to discuss. Parents were happy at home, and tried to explain the overall operation of certain things like poelle pellet. Difficult to communicate, but in the end everything went well. The house is very well equipped for a mountain house, we have not missed much. The fireplace was very nice for the evening. The house is located in an area where there are many activities to do, especially hiking. We have made great hiking, unforgettable! I highly recommend this house, and especially for this low price!

We did not meet Günter but communication was excellent. His parents welcomed us and showed us around the cottage. Very nice people. The cottage itself is heaven on earth for those who love peace and quiet. It is so cosy and it is very well equipped. It is a pity we stayed for such a short time!! We greatly reccommend this place.

The room was very clean and spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony and had everything we needed. The breakfast was nice and I was so happy and appreciative for the coffee machine!! Nicole and her husband were very welcoming, kind, and informative. My 2 year old loved the playroom and the outside play area. The decor was also really cozy and my husband loved all the car references and tin signs. They recommended dinner at the castle which is an easy walk (and bike ride for our son) from the accommodation. The veggie spatzle was fantastic and the views were beautiful! A small playground is also on the castle grounds. Nichole and her husband also recommended the waterfall nearby in Maltatal which was breathtaking. Beautiful waterfall with a huge playground and waterpark at the base. A great stop for families, absolutely!

We have spent a wonderful 5 nights at Jürgen's place. The pictures reflect exactly the same view. The apartment is simple but clean with all the necessary equipments in the kitchen and the bathroom. Jürgen the owner (and Sunny the newfoundlander lady) is a very kind and professional host, he provided a lot of information about the area and did everything for us to feel as comfortable and warm like home. There are also a lot of places to visit in Kärtnen region (Maltatal, Weisersee, Wörthersee, Gmünd Porsche Museum, Murau etc.) I just can offer Jürgen's place to everyone who likes the austrian alps, forests and streams, fresh air, quiet and animals. Wow! Jürgens place is wonderful. We arrived later than excepted due to traffic and he told us it wasn't a problem and to relax. He met us off the exit and glad he did because his house is all the way up the mountain and is beautiful. The view is just amazing! Our first morning and evening we were served lovely homemade meals. He was great company and showed us some of the most breath taking places around. He also left us alone to do our own thing. We loved it and the dogs loved it. I would recommend Jürgens home for anyone looking to view the mountains everyday and hike/swim and explore the area.

Gorgen is wunderful!! And Very helpful... We had alot of privacy and quiet .... gorgen welcomed use in atotally nice way, and made use feel very mach at home. the hous is very humble and not in the great condition. But we loved it!!!!

We did like our stay very much. Fritz and Emmi are very kind people and we felt very welcome. The place is close to Gmund which is a nice little village. There is a lot to do close in Gmund - walking, sightseeing, waterfalls, castles, nice lakes, swimming, etc. Fritz knows a lot bout Kärnten - the province of Austria. He helped us every day with planning a nice trip.

Good common rooms, all ensuite and everything you need, great value for money! Very hospitable hosts! Kitchen equipped with basic utensils (no oven available).

Excellent communication and feedback by Margit (Gertraud's daughter). The apartment is really very very cozy, very large, fitted with a modern and well equipped kitchen (which we did not use) and with a large and convenient bathroom with shower. Gertraud and Franz are really very nice, sweet and very friendly persons. They speak german (and very little english). Communication was very good, and I had the pleasure of practicing some of my basic german. We arrived as guests and we left as friends! We even got an invitation for dinner, which was great, with chanterelle mushroom and knoedeln. We brought some mushrooms and some nice italian wine, and spent a very enjoyable evening eating oudoors in front of the house, with the company of Franz, Gertraud and other guests of the B&B.
