Cozy A-frame cabin located about 15 minutes from the slopes and at the doorstep of some of the best hikes the PNW has to offer.
Sky Haus has a very cozy loft with 4 beds and all brand new linens. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Just bring food :-) There is a gas fireplace which is controlled by the wall mounted thermostat. The hot tub is just outside the front door and is always ready. We are located next door to the iconic Tye Haus A-frame cabin.
We are located in the private cabin community of Timberlane Village. There is a private beach located just a short walk from the cabin.
  • Comfortable and cozy accommodation. A tranquil escape from the everyday stress. Enjoying the hot tub underneath the beautiful evergreen trees. The rustic style A frame cabin is larger than expected and amazing.

  • Cute spot. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and close to town and hikes. Tom was always available for any questions/concerns. I recommend taking a drive to Leavenworth for shopping and lunch.

  • Beautiful weekend getaway and only an hour and a half away from Seattle. Tom was a very great host with clear communication and great local tips! Would definitely recommend!

    Cristian2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is easily the nicest place I've ever stayed. It was super clean, super gorgeous, and the hosts really thought of everything. I'll definitely be coming back.

  • Great place! Near Stevens Pass ski resort for down hill/cross country skiing. Hot tub was amazing! Perfect cabin get away.

    Abigail2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place in a wonderful location close to skiing. I'm glad we were able to get a weekend in here!

    Ryan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! You get what you see in the photos. A couple of small things I want to point out that some people probably won't notice: 1. I love how there are so many hooks to hang your clothes. Seriously. 2. Probably the best tap water I've ever tasted. Ice cold mountain water to cleanse the soul. 3. Bedroom is not ideal for anyone above 6'9. Ceiling is kinda low, so it was perfect for someone who's 5'1 (like me!!). 4. Can opener was super tiny, we couldn't open any of the cans. That's probably just us though. 5. I love how you're not allowed to wear shoes inside. Asians (like me!!) will be happy. 5 stars! 6. We got there exactly at 4:02PM to check-in, and the cleaning lady was still there. She was very startled probably because she's not used to people checking-in pretty early. We laughed it off :)

Wake up to spectacular views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier from this 700 sf, 2-story, chic and comfortable cottage on a 40 acre waterfront property. The southern exposure beach is ideal for strolling, beach combing, and relaxing. The beach w/ picnic area, fire pit, propane bbq, hammocks, and lounge chairs awaits you for outdoor r & r.
The charming & stylishly decorated loft has a kitchenette, wood stove (wood provided), queen bed in the open loft & a 26" wide daybed, and a full-size sofa sleeper on main floor. Cozy, rural, quiet and comfortable! Leashed pets welcome as long as they are not left alone in the loft. (A $40 pet deep cleaning fee per dog, with a limit of 2, applies). The bathroom, eating space, kitchenette, and wood stove are on the main floor and the sleeping area is upstairs in the open loft. The Loft has a spectacular view of the Sound. There is a queen bed and a narrower 26" wide daybed upstairs that work for a small adult or child, and a double sleeper sofa on the main floor. There is shaded sleeping platform at the water’s edge for summertime siestas. There are stairs and a trail to the south facing, fabulous, private beach. Orcas sometimes visit, seals and otter pass by, deer nibble outside your door ( mostly on my roses!) and there are eagles perched in the trees. The beautifully landscaped property property is ideal for quiet getaways —it feels remote but is just 20 minutes from the ferry. There are great restaurants, wineries, horseback riding, and mountain biking and hiking trails nearby an Pt Robinson lighthouse is a 10 minute walk along the shoreline or through the forest ( or a 2 minute drive away). This quiet and special place awaits you! And, in case you need more convincing, Lisa is one of the top Super Hosts on Airbnb with 100% consecutive SH status since the property was listed in 2016 and with hundreds of 5 star reviews. If you have any questions, please ask! If the loft is booked, or you want to invite more family or friends to join you, consider the two other guest spaces on the 40 acres: The Coach House at Wildwood (sleeps 4), the Forest Cabin ( sleeps 3 and has an outdoor soaking tub), Bluff House, Wildwood Barn Studio (sleeps 2). It is a short walk 5 or less walk between the cottages. Each is private, unique and fabulous in its own way. To see the other cottages and an overview map of the full property, click on my profile photo or on the icons near Loft & Beach on the map to see photos, availability and pricing of the Coach House at Wildwood or Wildwood Studio. The Loft and bluff yard are available for celebrations of up to 65 people (weddings, reunions, family celebrations, birthdays, photo shoots, film use, etc.) Inquire for availability and pricing. Loft & Beach and Bluff House is an ideal location for small events: baby showers, weddings, birthday celebrations, reunions, film production, photo shoots, etc. Don’t worry: for wedding/event days all the cottages are booked with the event, so you won’t be bothered by an event nearby if you book just one of the cottage! and all the cottages are booked, so you won't have an event going on if you book just one or some of the cottages. Vashon Field and Pond, the entire 40 acre property along with the cottages and Bluff house can be booked for larger events (up to 500 people). The exteriors and interiors of the cottages and the property have been featured in The Seattle Times Pacific Magazine, Seattle Bride Magazine, Country Living Magazine, Sunset books, in catalogs (Cutter & Buck most recently) , advertisements and in film including Anthony Bordain's "No Reservations" (aired Nov. 19, 2017 on the Pacific Northwest show). Celebrities have chosen to be married on the property - it is truly a stunning place to be! We are very familiar with how to coordinate details of large and small productions and events to assure your time here is a success and exactly as you want it to be. PLEASE NOTE: Summer Saturdays are blocked on the calendar until April 30th for weddings and other events to book. After April 30th the cottages can be booked separately from the venue for summer weekend dates.
Rural, peaceful with a spectacular view of Mt.Rainier. Other than our house, there are no visible neighboring houses. We have horses that pasture next door, Point Robinson lighthouse park and a marine park for beautiful hikes and picnics. The hammocks at the beach are up in the summer and there is a fire pit at the beach for grilling over the fire and making s'mores. 40 acres of privacy await you! If you are interested in hosting an outdoor event at the Loft, Mid-May through late September, for up to 60 people, the yard/property may be leased with the loft at an additional cost. We also can accommodate large events for up to 500 guests on the adjoining property. Please let us know if you might be interested in hosting an event and we can discuss the options. ( There is also a private 40 acre property nearby with the same lovely southern exposure and fabulous Mt. Rainier view. It has parking for up to 250 people ($2,000 & up per day) and can be leased for outdoor events May - September. The Loft can be used as honeymoon suite, dressing area or guest quarters, and there are two other overnight accommodations on the property: Wildwood Studio and The Coach House at Wildwood. Please inquire for further details.

  • Beautiful views, awesome space and excellent hosts! We have stayed several times and are always excited to return.

    Jane2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • This loft is like a little nautical dream. You'll love the views, curling up by the fire, having a quick hike down by the beach, and then taking a hot shower in the updated bathroom. We loved it here, would highly recommend for anyone looking for a get away from the city!

    Hart2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Simple, rustic charm in a jaw-dropping setting. Be sure and take the stairs down to the very walkable beach. Spot-on recommendation for dining at The Hardware Store; had a fantastic birthday dinner there.

    Mike2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa’s loft and property are amazing! I came to Vashon from Seattle for a long weekend getaway. The view did not disappoint. The stress relief was sublime!

    Isaac2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! What a getaway! My wife and I loved our time at the Loft. Beautiful views and a cute-cozy stay. So grateful for the opportunity.

    Ronald2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • We felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy this property for a long weekend. The beaches, views, Madronas, and landscaping are stunning. It is clear this place is well loved by this family and we felt honored to be a part of that for a short time. This is probably the most stunning privately owned parcel on the island. If you want a true PNW experience, this is the place. Thanks Lisa!

  • Expect to be blown away at how amazing the Tipsy Tiny Home is. It’s a great get away for spontaneous trips.

  • We have been to Seattle a couple times before, and this place was by far our favorite we have stayed at! Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we loved all the attention to detail and small touches they've put into their place. We can't wait to visit again!

    Jon2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, stylish, comfortable spot in a great neighborhood. I’ll stay again if I get the chance

    Ted2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Sometimes it's just perfect to have it be just the way you'd imagined. What a lovely creation this is! We had a quick one day vacay for a birthday getaway and we loved it! Tophats off to Tipsy! (Sorry we didn't have time to sign the guest book. We are locals so maybe next time!)

    Vanessa2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We have been curious about tiny homes for a while now, this was an awesome chance to get to try it first hand! The place is really nice and we had a lot of fun staying in it and seeing West Seattle!

    Hayden2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first experience in a tiny house and it was perfect. The attention to detail was impressive.

    Lynnette2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place is groovy and fun. The repurposing of salvaged lumber is attractive and solid. The light is perfect and the bathroom is surprisingly roomy. I recommend it as a nice place to stay if you're in West Seattle.

    Jennifer2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at their tiny house. I'd stay there in the future!

  • Cabin fever was a wonderful escape. We live locally and wanted somewhere to just relax for a night. We enjoyed amenities such as the hot tub + fire pit. There is also a beautiful trail with a tire swing we that was perfect for my young girls! We had a wonderful time and the place is just beautiful. Thankful for our time here!

    Karyssa2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place is magical! Close to town but feels secluded enough if you're looking for a nature escape. The hot tub is the icing on the cake.

    Shireen2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Tonia's cabin was a very sweet getaway for three gals for a weekend. It's close quarters, there is no real bathroom, just a shower stall and bathroom stall off of the main living area. The cabin is a little less secluded than it looks in the pictures. It is surrounded by a few residences. The hot tub was divine, there's a great tire swing on the trail in the yard, and it's close to a few great parks. Highly recommended!

    Carly2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time here! Just far enough away from the main house so that you feel like you’re on your own, the hot tub was great and it was the cutest little space!

    Katelyn2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin couldn’t be more perfect for a quick getaway. Already hoping to return for a longer retreat!

    Laura2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The coziest lil cabin! Perfect for a quick overnight trip. Felt nice, private and quiet. Dogs were cute too!

  • Tonia’s place is a lovely place to stay if you’re looking to get out into nature. It very much feels as if it’s in the middle of the woods. The cabin itself is very comfy, with great ammenities. If you’re looking to relax and kickback in the woods this really is the place.

  • This location was perfect for our first visit to Seattle. It felt private and was really clean. The recommendations were helpful when adventuring through the city. I highly recommend this spot 😁

    Brock2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Needed a place for one night and Fern’s place was perfect! Sparkling clean, super soft carpeting, and comfy bed. Very spacious. Thanks!

  • I found this AirBnB to be in the perfect North Seattle location. It felt so warm and cozy when I arrived. The space was super clean, and had everything I needed for my brief stay. The owners communicated promptly and clearly. I appreciated the parking, and the easy self check-in and check out. I did not meet the hosts, but it was nice to know that they were right upstairs if I had needed anything. Thank you so much!

    Shirley2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, clean, cozy place to stay. Emphasize on the clean. Only 15 min away from downtown.

    Humberto2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fern's place is clean, private and full of amenities. She responds promptly and is welcoming. The place was clean and nice. Guests have their own entrance with code so it's very private which is highly appreciated (especially for us introverts). There were a lot of amenities as well which rivals any hotel. I highly recommend staying at Fern's place.

    Norman Aris2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very pleasant accommodation. Loren and Fern are attached to the well-being of their hosts. To recommend

  • Great little place

    Mike2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • When the weather allows sitting outside for longer periods of time, the waterfall area is beautiful and peaceful. We wish we could have sat there all day! The cottage is warm and cozy with everything you need. Such a lovely place.

    Shirley2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was a very nice, small space, great for resting. The waterfall is beautiful, and the sound of the creek is audible with the window open (but it's quiet with the window shut), very peaceful. Highly recommend this place. Nice touches with some snacks, water, and Keurig coffee. Close to plenty of food options, and Fred Meyer, too.

    Michael2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our little getaway at the waterfall cabin. Even though the space is small and cozy, we had everything we needed. Thanks for providing a place to spend our honeymoon!

    Dani2020-03-08T00:00:00Z

28 day minimum-6 month maximum stay. A private little cabin fully furnished. Professional working locally? Visiting family? Cottontail Haven Lodge is perfect for you! Enjoy a comfortable stay near Lake Tapps & the towns of Sumner, Bonney Lake, Puyallup, Auburn, Enumclaw, Federal Way, Tacoma. 10-15 minutes to major freeways. Near White River Amphitheater, State Fairgrounds & more! The resident "rogue bunnies" will welcome you-they're the REAL owners of the cabin!
Your cabin in the woods is about 580 sq ft, built in 2008 with hand-peeled logs, remodeled as a guest house & Airbnb-ready in December 2016. Resident bunnies will "hang out" with you. They love to be talked to & photographed. Colorful hummingbirds will feed right in front of your rocking chair on the porch. The gentle deer are more elusive, but watch for them as they quietly walk past the cabin. Bushy gray squirrels scamper around the yard & would love a peanut or two. Yes, we have Bald Eagles & huge owls, too. All the essentials for a relaxing stay: (see pictures) * King-size Select Comfort bed with dual control heated mattress pad & full-queen size sleeper sofa. Bed has either winter soft flannel sheets or comfy cool summer Cariloha exquisite soft bamboo sheets. * Bathroom with sink, toilet, shower (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) * 40" flat screen TV, digital antenna, DVR, WiFi, but no cable TV. * Board games, puzzles & playing cards in the "Games Box". * DVD movies & player (we have a lot of movies in our main house library, just ask) * Keurig coffee maker with coffee *Electric kettle with tea * Small crockpot, toaster, NutriBullet blender, waffle maker, kitchen utensils, seasonings * Clean towels, washcloths, hand towels * Washer/Dryer with small supply of detergent * Hair dryer, clothes hangers * Electronics charging station/desktop You will just need to bring milk for cereal or coffee. This cabin on a knoll is on it's own 1.3 acres with a circular driveway, ample parking for 2 cars & a large unfenced yard, all surrounded by meadow-like grass, trees & pastures. The front porch is a favorite place to relax while sitting in the four comfortable rocking chairs with a nearby small table for your refreshments. A propane BBQ grill is available in Spring/Summer seasons. A fire pit with surrounding seats & log tables makes evenings memorable as you roast a few marshmallows.
Our neighborhood is "rural-looking" with cows, horses, rabbits, Spring-time ducks, bald eagles, owls, squirrels & deer as neighbors. On a gravel road but 10-15 minutes drive to highways & freeways. Close to beautiful Lake Tapps, the county's largest recreational lake with 2 public parks with beaches, paddle boat and board rentals at the lake. (seasonal entry & not within walking distance) There is a well-traveled road behind the cabin (which sits on a high bank). The white noise machine will help diffuse the road noise at night though most guests tell me their home has more noise than the cabin. Only 10 mins drive to either quaint downtown Sumner, Bonney Lake or Lakeland Hills for shopping and restaurants. 15 minutes to Puyallup - WA State fairgrounds and events. An hour in either direction will get you to ski resorts on Snoqualmie Pass or Crystal Mountain. 2 hours to Paradise Mt Rainier, less than an hour to Seattle or the White River Amphitheater for concerts & half that time to downtown Tacoma (try the train!)
  • Rabbits are enjoyable to watch and feed. Great location. Did get a little road noise, but with the cold weather and windows closed, but extremely pleasant.

  • I have stayed several times now at Kris’ cabin! It’s awesome and I feel at home there! Kris is a great host and I enjoy my visits with her. The bunnies really do greet you everyday too😊. Obviously I would stay again and again!

    Debbie2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! The pictures do not do this place justice. Beautiful front porch with rocking chairs greets you before you enter this cozy log cabin. Really thoughtful touches (homemade waffle mix, bunny feed, makeup wipes etc in bathroom). Wished we stayed here longer! Spent our wedding night here and are glad this where we started our life together.

    Austyn2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Coming to this lodge is like entering an alternate universe where everything is comfy and sweet. The place had so many thoughtful touches, kris was so nice and welcoming, it was just what we needed for this leg of our trip.

    Abigail2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space with an extremely comfortable bed. I really enjoyed the heated mattress pad! The space is very well designed and we were very comfortable for our stay. Kris made sure that we had the things we needed and she had great communication. We will definitely be back!

  • Comfy, cozy, solid home. We loved the restful feel of this cabin. We had been travelling a lot, and it was so comforting to have warm blankets and real plates ( not paper!). This was instantly homey for my family.

    Ben2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was wonderful. Kris was so friendly and welcoming!

    Jason2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place with a great host. Despite being called a "cabin", this is a very comfortable, well-built place. There are lots of nice touches included such as slippers, ear plugs (not that it was loud), coffee, and snacks. We even got to have a few snacks from their garden. The front porch is a great place to hang out. Note that the bunnies will occasionally come by expecting to be fed (food is provided). Wish we could have stayed longer!

This quaint custom built cabin is on our 3 acre homestead. Located on Vashon Island in the Puget Sound just a short ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Repurposed wood treatments and windows make this space an architectural delight. Our farm hosts a flock of laying chickens, a farm cat named Lucy, a large vegetable and herb garden, a small orchard and grounds to enjoy wildlife. Please note the cat does not go in the cabin. She lives in the farmhouse and garage and keeps the mice at bay.
The 200 square foot cabin has a luxurious queen bed (with brand new Saatva mattress), small sitting area, bathroom with shower and private front porch. It is equipped with a small refrigerator, electric tea pot, and a press pot. Tea and coffee and half and half are kept in the cabin. The cabin is a 80' from the main farmhouse giving you lots of privacy. Please note the cabin is not child safe or handicap accessible. We cannot host babies or toddlers. We do not serve breakfast.
Vashon Island is safe rural community filled with art, farming and foodies. The Vashon Chamber of Commerce web site is a good overview of visitor opportunities. The Beachcomber publication "Destination Vashon" is a must have resource for visitors. It can be viewed online by visiting The Vashon Beachcomber website or picked up in your room.
  • A cute lil getaway for any Vashon traveler!!

  • CABIN OF MY DREAMS! This place is perfection. It is a perfect example of shabby chic. It has a rustic cabin vibe yet with beautiful decor and the architecture is simply stunning. I was in awe of all the detail in this cabin, the pictures don't do it justice. Natalie has created something very special here. The bed is a dream. The shower is very roomy with great hot water and pressure. Wifi works great. The porch is like stepping back in time, and the grounds are just beautiful. This is also one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in. You have ultimate privacy, it is SO peaceful. There are so many thoughtful touches that Natalie has left for you. The coffee was awesome. My only complaint was not having more time here! We didn't want to leave. If you want to venture out on the island, the location is absolutely perfect, central to everything and yet still somehow feels world's away. I will be back for sure.

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and I really enjoyed the small cabin, perfect for a cozy place to stay while enjoying the island, I’d definitely stay here again, the only thing even remotely of an annoyance was that the side grill wasn’t working while we were there but that being the only downside makes this place perfect, all enmities listed were there and the property it’s on looks especially nice id definitely recommend this for a group of 2 or less its the perfect size

    Sandra2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far the best Airbnb I have ever rented, and I have stayed in some beauties. This particular accommodation is outstanding, though. Right in the heart of North Bend, shops and restaurants are within walking distance, yet it is quiet enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. There are views of the river and trees at the back, and the glorious Mount Si at the front. The house itself was spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches, like a coffee machine and pods, high quality decor and linens, and plenty of toiletries. The hot tub at the end of a long day of exploring was the icing on the cake. North Bend itself is a nice, safe place. We were lucky to have friends in the area to show us around, but the locals are friendly and welcoming. It was priced slightly higher than other places I looked at, but worth every penny. I wish I could live in it, and didn’t want to leave. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and especially Twin Peaks fans, as you will be a few minutes walk from Twede’s cafe and other locations. Snoqualmie sites are just five or ten minutes away by car.

  • Spent one night at Richard’s place for a girls night and we had a fantastic time. Clean space, well decorated and centrally located. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

    Emily2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, roomy, tons of extra blankets, towels, toiletries, etc. Hot tub feels very private and the master bedroom contains probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Highly recommended!

  • Last minute booking to stay in area for Dr appointment. Quick immediate booking. Easy check in. Super clean, styling comfortable place. All needs as advertised. Slept like a baby. Deck on master bedroom is very relaxing and private. Close to outlet for shopping and all the restaurants in the small towns nearby. The hosts book gives all information. Would definitely go again.

Named after the neighboring Foss River, Foss Haus is ideally located 10 minutes from Steven's Pass and hundreds of outdoor activities. Just a 5 minute drive to the Alpine Lakes wilderness or a short walk to the private community beach at the Skykomish River.
Hand built in 1978 by the original owner, Foss Haus is set amongst Douglas firs that reach for the sky. The interior is truly reflective of the area and includes a wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, 2 queen beds with all brand new linens and a full bathroom.
Foss Haus is settled in the private cabin community of Timberlane Village. The walkable community features a couple of private river beach access areas for fishing or picnics.
  • Beautiful cabin. Everything we had hoped for. You will love it!

    Tom2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at Foss Haus, it was a great opportunity for my kids and I to get some time to ourselves, and enjoy some of the great recreation in the area. I think out of the sledding, hiking, and other activities we did, their favorite part was just spending time at the cabin itself. Which for 2 small but high energy kids is saying a lot. When their mom came to pick them up at my house the day after we got back, the first thing my 4yo son said to her was, "The cabin was so fun!"

    Geoff2020-03-13T00:00:00Z

Our stay was everything we'd hoped, and when a stormy-weather power outage threatened to put a damper things, Tom proactively reached out to help set us up with some generator power to save the day. We at Emerald Stays welcome you to our modern and stylish vacation rental condo, in a brand new building located in the hip Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The absolute best thing about this apartment is the location, located in Belltown, the residential neighborhood of Downtown. You will be steps away from the famous Pike Place Market, Puget Sound Waterfront, Seattle Aquarium & everything Downtown. The Space Needle & the rest of the Seattle Center are also within walking distance. You will also find some of Seattle's best restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars & lounges, just outside the building. With a Walkscore of 98 and transit score of 100, the building is a "Walker's Paradise". So you can skip renting a car. The Convention Center is just 15 mins walk away. You can also catch buses to all of Seattle from across the block and Zipcars are 3 blocks away. This condo’s location makes it ideal for both business and holiday travelers. Since the building just opened up in June 2013, everything is new, modern and stylish. As soon as you enter the building’s spacious, beautiful lobby, you will notice the well-equipped 24-hour gym to your left. At the first chance you get, take the elevator up to the rooftop deck and you will be treated to awesome views of downtown and the waterfront. The rooftop deck also has a comfortable lounging area and is fitted with BBQ grills. The apartment itself is a modern open one-bedroom with hardwood floors and excellent furnishings. The huge windows provide ample light and a spacious feel to the condo. We have furnished this place such that you will feel absolutely at home. Between the plush queen bed and futon (which unfolds to a full size bed), this apartment will comfortably accommodate 3 guests. Apart from the towels and linens already laid out, there are many more to spare in the closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances & is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, serve and enjoy a wonderful meal (How about taking the food upstairs and making a picnic out of it). We think Internet is a basic utility and provide dedicated high-speed Wifi. There is a 43-inch HDTV with complimentary Netflix. Please note, we do not provide Cable on the TV. The Roku box does provide you access to news and on-demand programming. There is also TV with cable in the common lounging space. Come live like Locals in one of the most premium buildings of Seattle! It is a No Smoking Building, so we will expect you to respect that. Parking : Parking in the building can be arranged ( based on availability) at $20 per day. Although if you are staying in the center of the city you don't need a car at all.
  • I had a pleasant stay at this place. I traveled with my family; my spouse and a son, and it was much more convenient that a hotel. Bedding was good, bathroom was clean and easy to use. At the same time, many basic things you find at home like a detergent are all well prepared. Will stay again if I get to visit Seattle.

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!
  • One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had! The cabin was perfect—homey, very clean, charming, amazing view, awesome tub, tons of books—the list goes on! I would highly recommend staying here. Great for a solo retreat or a romantic getaway. Brita was very communicative and helpful.

    Kim2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a relaxing and lovely time! Would definitely return :)

    Saralyn2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Westside Cabin was just stunning. I'm going to echo what we wrote in the guestbook there--it truly felt like we were forest bathing but doing it from the comfort of a cozy home! We loved the big tub. Sleeping up in the loft is lovely. There were lots of books and games and we made especially good use of the cribbage board. Plus, Brita gave us such good recommendations for places to eat. We didn't make it down to the beach this time because we were too smitten with the cabin itself, so we'll have to just go back sometime!

    Laura2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • My second time staying, and my first choice for the perfect Pacific Northwest cabin. It's such a quick trip from Seattle, but you'll feel a million miles away. This is the west side --quiet side of Vashon Island! And the clawfoot bathtub, with a nature view, is a dream.

    Rhia2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Second visit as amazing as the first! Moon on the water! Bath tub of dreams.

    Moorea2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place to retreat and unwind! The space is peaceful, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches. The tub and bathroom are perfect - long soaks with the windows open to hear the forest and ocean tide were our favorite! Brita was quick to respond and super accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

    Lily2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second trip back to Brita’s place, and her cabin is really one of the best in the PNW. Great communication, quality build, strong WiFi and good cellular signals. Can’t wait to come back!!

    Alice2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • This little cabin is a gem; very cozy and was super nice in the rain. We could see the trees around us swaying in the wind during a rain storm and hear the sound of rain drops on the roof. The kitchen is small but has everything you need including stove burners, oven, hot water boiler, coffee maker, and pots pans dishes. Bring your smart phone and you can play music through the Sonos app on their speakers too. Anytime we had any questions Brita was quick to respond to us. The bed is cute and cozy up in the loft but very squishy so could be good or bad depending on your back. Overall, it was a lovely stay for my husband and I and close enough but far enough away from everything. Also the bath is amazing and has the best view so do make use of it!

  • The cottage was a wonderful cozy place right behind Kathy and Dan's place. Our favorite touch was the heater that is positioned perfectly at the foot of the bed for those chilly Seattle nights. We enjoyed the view of the city skyline and Space Needle from our window. What a wonderful place to stay.

  • We loved how serene and secluded it felt, while being easy to get to. Very tasteful and modern design, beautiful views! There’s a waterfall right out the window!

    Nichole2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • The base camp guesthouse exceeded our high expectations. It’s neat, complete, and situated in a seemingly perfect location. The large windows kept us connected to the river and valley outside. It was 6 minutes exact by car to one of our most memorable hikes, and there were a handful more options to explore even nearer. The studio space will charm you, and Jeff’s care for detail will make you feel home. Our stay was the getaway we so surely wanted!

  • The title is true: this place is luxurious! The linens, fixtures, bed, and view are all first class. Jeff was super helpful with his handbook and recommendations. This is the perfect spot to explore the mountains while still being close to a cute mountain town that has plenty of places to eat and drink. We will definitely be back!

    Natasha2020-03-09T00:00:00Z

  • It's in a great location within walking distance to a lot of Seattle's most popular attractions. Note that there isn't a specific spot to park, so if you have a car just plan ahead to find a pay-to-park spot. Very clean apartment and very comfortable. Chris was prompt in responding to all my questions and the directions to get the key and find the room are very clear.

    Haley2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome all around!! So many things to do & see within walking distance. I really wish I could have stayed longer.

    Brent2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • The very first thing that one notices when you enter this space is just how immaculately clean it is. Having stayed in several Airbnb's up till now this is one of the very first (hopefully not last) that I can honestly refer to as spotless. The check in is seamless and the location is better than I could have asked for. No suggestions for improvement at all from this happy vacationer. Special Note: Every time we finished up a night and looked up directions home my partner exclaimed "thank goodness we got a spot so convenient". That alone was worth the rental to be able to provide that level of comfort.

    Daniel2020-02-25T00:00:00Z

Stunning two-bedroom home high above the sound on 2.74 acres of waterfront with spectacular views. The house is in an idillyc park like setting with full deck, extending into the sunset. Previously owned by a famous artist, the property is a mecca for creativity, relaxation and watching wildlife including resident deer and bald eagles nesting in the trees. The first bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds.
The house has been professionally decorated by Lemon Design Editing with art curated by Mary Angela. Brand new beds and bedding. Aero-beds available as needed.
Home is in a serene, secluded, setting with gorgeous views of Colvos Pass. You can access a beach about 1/2 mile from the home.
  • My husband and I stayed here as a way to have some relaxing isolation for the weekend during the covid crisis. It was quiet, peaceful and sparkling clean- we felt totally safe. We enjoyed reading our books on the deck and enjoying the amazing view of the ocean. The place was also thoughtfully designed and very aesthetically exciting. And to top it off, we checked in to find fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. We’ll definitely be back!

    Melissa2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect place to escape — to breathe, rest, read, walk, cook and appreciate nature. We loved the expansive view of the water, the deer grazing and resting on the grass every morning and the quiet. We took everything we needed to cook wonderful meals for 4 nights so we didn’t have to leave. Loved the daily walk to the beach, where the dogs wore themselves out swimming in the cove. Can’t wait to return!

    Michel2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful view, relaxing atmosphere, great home!

    Jennifer2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great house with stylish details. Beautiful sunset view and deers out the window to entertain the kiddos.

    Megan2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful, airy, cozy, and inspiring place. The views are completely magical, the space is exactly as pictured, the kitchen is well-stocked, and Shannon & Jon are perfect hosts. It felt like a true retreat --- the beach is a short walk from the house, and we saw deer in the yard every morning. We had a power outage for a couple of hours during our stay, and Shannon & Jon checked in with us immediately, updated us on electric company's progress in repairing things, and even had a neighbor check in on us in person. We would absolutely come back.

    Hannah2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was beautiful and just enough of a get away. The space is beautiful and well equipped with kitchen items, bathroom supplies, and linens. The large windows in the living room were so beautiful to sit and look out at the water. It was about 15-20 minutes from most things in town (restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc.) which was a bit of driving on some dark and windy roads, but not too far.

    Christina2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a gorgeous setting and a relaxing quiet place to enjoy any type of weekend. Everything is exactly as described. The rave reviews are no surprise to me. We enjoyed the sweeping view and wraparound deck. Highly recommended.

Charming private Vashon beach cottage. Get away from it all, unless you need it all, in which case you'd probably be happier in downtown Seattle. There's beach access and plenty of quiet at night. You can hear the water, the marine life and the birds. Vashon town is about 7 miles. Plenty of restaurants and interesting small shops. Pt. Robinson lighthouse is a short beach walk away. These pictures were taken early summer but some guests enjoy the winter.
Private guest house with deck and water view. Approx 400 sf. One queen bed and one queen pull out sofa sleeper. Stall shower with great water pressure. Fridge, microwave, 2 burner hot plate, cooking and serving items provided. Outdoor gas grill. I don't charge a cleaning fee and I accept 2 night bookings.
The neighborhood has tall trees behind and the beach in front. It's quiet here. The neighbor has small dogs and they bark--but go in at night.
  • Staying in The cabin was wonderful! The location was lovely and the place was so cozy. And Olive was so sweet! Thank you Chip, it was exactly what we needed!

    Valerie2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Chip’s cabin is a cozy getaway from the city. You walk in and are welcomed by a fire in the stove. The waterfront is right out the back door and makes for great views while relaxing (we saw some porpoises!) Location couldn’t be better - close distance to the Point Robinson lighthouse, downtown shops and many great hiking trails. There is a binder filled with ideas to check out while on the island. Communication with Chip was a breeze. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

    Sam2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Treated my parents to a weekend stay at Chip’s place. They had a phenomenal time! The proximity to the waterfront was amazing and they loved the space itself.

    Alex2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cabin for the weekend. Secluded, comfortable and has a great view! Olive was very sweet and we loved the binoculars and books/games Chip had in the cabin

  • Cozy cabin right on the shore -- property includes direct beach access, a local restaurant guide, and everything needed for a quiet night in. Check-in was seamless and we never even noticed the property owners next door. A quaint and quiet property on South Vashon Island -- would highly recommend and stay myself again!

    Judy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here! Such a cute and cozy space. We loved having the fireplace and being able to see the water from the glass doors. The cabin was a lot closer to the main house than we expected (you have to pass it to go down by the beach area) but it was very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely try to come back in the summer. Such a great value!

  • This place was so cute and charming and comfortable- we didn't want to leave! We stayed three nights but honestly the space would be lovely for a longer stay. It is the perfect size for a couple or small family. The location couldn't be beat- it is in a quiet, residential neighborhood but an easy and short drive downtown. There is a grocery store just a few blocks away that had yummy local produce and cheese. I loved the ease of letting ourselves in and out and the hosts were nice enough to let us park in the drive way. Super cozy, full of cute little decor details- we were so glad we picked this airbnb!

North Bend Downtown Suite is a private attached mother in law suite with a hot tub in downtown North Bend. It has a separate entrance and the front and back yards are separated by a fence. Private deck with spa and BBQ are right out the back door. Small space washer and dryer is available in out building. It is located in the heart of downtown. You can walk 1-3 blocks to all reach most of downtown restaurants and shopping. We have provided all the amenities of a house in a mother in law suite--just on a smaller scale. For example, we have a fully functioning oven and stove top that is 75% the of a full size oven. The refrigerator is 1/4 of a full but has a freezer with ice. The washer and drier are side by side, but the drier is 1/2 load size. Sleeps a maximum of 4 (one queen and one twin airbed). We price the suite significantly below hotels in the area while far exceeding the guest experience of a hotel.

  • Luxurious and Romantic space! We had a great night in North Bend. With most things closed (March 2020) we were glad to have a space that was so comfortable and enjoyable to just spend time in. Our dog, Maple, enjoyed the yard, and we played a little fetch off the deck with her from the hot tub. The sheets and towels were super soft! We were very comfortable watching a movie in bed and the bed was soft and warm. For a small kitchen (accurately portrayed in the description) it was extremely well appointed. Very easy to make meals for two. The host was friendly and helpful, but gave us plenty of privacy.

    Sarah2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place! So clean, with a comfortable bed and wonderful decor. all the nice touches you could ask for: Lots of towels, soft bathrobe’s, beautiful linens, and a hot tub with your own private deck including curtain so you don’t have to worry about wearing a swimsuit! LOL

  • I am an Airbnb host myself so I am admittedly a little bit particular. This place completely blew me away. The location is stellar- walk anywhere in downtown North Bend. The space is bright and airy. Kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need. The bed, pillows and sheets were extremely comfortable. Oh, and the hot tub is TO DIE FOR. I couldn’t recommend this stay enough. I wish I could leave there full time!

  • As advertised, great way to spend a relaxing weekend and experience staying at a treehouse. Good location , clean and and host were friendly. Recommended !

    David2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Squirrel's Nest is the perfect treehouse experience. The architecture is everything a tree house should be, making you feel like you are part of the trees you're sleeping in. You're truly up in the boughs, and the detailing all enhances that childhood dream of living the Swiss Family Robinson life. It's also a treasure of relaxation and fun. Surround sound, big screen, cozy cushions for your Harry Potter marathon. Porch hammocks and fresh coffee for your quiet moments of reflection. Fireplace, candles and games for memory making in a rainstorm. This place really is the one you want. I looked through a lot of tree house getaways and so many were just guesthouses on platforms. This is the real thing. The hosts are wonderful and friendly, the surroundings private and the right amount of rustic yet convenient and accessible, the accommodations are generous, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. Took my granddaughter for a special 10th birthday trip and she rated it right up there with Disneyland. We had a great time! I will note that though the fall rainstorm made the fireplace extra cozy, do be prepared for chilly bathroom trips. As the listing mentions, it's all cold water and the cute tiny bathroom is unheated.

    Amy2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely treehouse with lots of comforts from home. Multiple outdoor spaces, comfy bedding and even some board games. Mark customized the bed arrangements for our family makeup. It was fun to see the pigs rooting around!

    Adrianne2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • What a fun experience! We had a very relaxing stay. Mark was a great host showing us around and giving us history on the treehouse when we checked in. The bed was very comfortable. The place was very clean. We only used the fireplace at a very low setting and kept us comfortable throughout the night. The candles were a nice touch. I was excited to find coffee creamer in the mini fridge! Extra points for that! When we checked in, Mark mentioned how great the surround sound system was up in the treehouse so we rented a couple movies from Redbox. The surround sound was awesome! The place had sufficient lighting at night when we had to use the cute bathroom downstairs. The only disappointment was that I didn’t get to see both dogs and the pot bellied pigs!

    Genevieve2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Brilliant space, brilliant night. Well worth it if you don’t want to be in the city

    Sara2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This treehouse exceeded all expectations. Mark and family are wonderful hosts and have clearly put a lot of love into this magical space. Our family of three had plenty of room and loved the balconies, the comfy beds, the TV setup, the quiet and secluded setting, and the little nature trails. The bathroom was super clean. We would love to stay here again.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen, wood stove (wood provided) and access through trails to our private beach. Enjoy coffee on the covered porch and watch horses graze nearby. Grill on the barbecue (propane provided) and eat a relaxing meal in the forested picnic area. Decorated with various old tools, antique skis, skates and sleds, heirloom trophies (from great grandpa's collection), birch tree table legs and bed posts, wine casks from the Italian family vineyard, oil lamps, and other "lodgey" decor, it is an unforgettable place. Two full-sized horses and a miniature horse graze on the pasture outside your door. The property has been designed and meticulously maintained by the same family for over 30 years. The goal has been to preserve the natural beauty of the woodlands and to protect the ecology of the forested landscape for the native flora & fauna: deer, eagles, hawk, heron, raccoons, owls, frogs, woodpeckers, etc. that make the property their home. Ideal for birdwatching, exploring the shoreline and aquatic life at the beach, or simply relaxing by the fire in the unique space. With Point Robinson Lighthouse Park just a few minutes walk through tranquil trails or a 2 minute drive away, you are invited to explore the magic of Vashon/Maury islands from this memorable location. At the beach you might see seals, sea lions, otter, heron, kingfisher, and occasionally even Orca, Humpback or Gray whales. If you have a party larger than 2, the Wildwood Coach House (690 sq.ft. ) is located on the opposite side of the barn and may be rented separately. It has a queen bed in the bedroom, a sofa sleeper in the living area, full kitchen and claw foot bathtub with a shower, a barbecue/picnic area outside, a wood stove with firewood provided and maximum occupancy is 4. Also available on adjoining property is Vashon Loft and Beach, which sleeps 4, with a water view and it's own beach access and waterfront picnic area. You can also book the entire property, (see the Vashon Field & Pond Event Venue listing) for weddings and other special events during the summer months. You can click on the red icons on the Airbnb map to see photos of the other cottages and event venue. Dogs that can be easily controlled on a leash are welcome, but must be leashed at all times, everywhere on the property for the protection of wildlife, cats, horses, rabbits, chickens and ducks. Always take your pet with you when you leave the studio. There is an additional $40 de-allergen deep cleaning fee for pets, and a maximum of 2 pets. PLEASE NOTE: Some summer weekends are blocked until May 1 for scheduling weddings/reunions/film & photo shoots and other event use. Don't worry: when Vashon Field and Pond is holding an event we don't rent the Coach House and Studio to guests outside the event, so you'll have peace and quiet during your visit.
South facing, the property is technically on Maury Island which connects to Vashon at Portage. There are lots of good hikes on trails on the property, the beach, at Point Robinson Lighthouse Park and the Maury Island Marine Park within walking distance. The town of Vashon is a 15 minute drive away, so you might want to pick up groceries on your way through Vashon town if you arrive via the Seattle or Southworth ferries. If you are coming from Tacoma, there is a tiny store in Burton (at the 4 way stop) for groceries, or you can continue north on Vashon Highway for 10 minutes until you reach the town of Vashon with 2 grocery stores, galleries, shops, restaurants, movie theater, gas stations, library, etc. Vashon pretty much requires that you have a car. Metro Transit busses 118 and 119 come within about 3 miles of the property; you can get to the Bunk House in about 20 minutes from the bus stop on a bike. Vashon Shuttle Service offers door to door transportation to/from Sea-Tac airport and the ferries. Uber SOMETIMES operates on the island, so check before you depend on it for a ride. Check to see if Uber is operating on the island during your say if you don't have a car. Unfortunately, our insurance does not allow us to transport guests.
  • Clean, quiet, secluded and great value.

  • Great little studio located right by the light house. It was perfectly sized for 2 people. Ideal for a getaway from Seattle. The horses outside the studio are super cute too! Communication from Lisa was prompt! The kitchen was well stoked but if you plan to cook a lot iid recommend bringing your own utensils. Overall, it was a good experience and I recommend it.

  • Absolutely loved the place! If you are looking for a date night stay this is the place!

    Kiersten2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I’d recommend this to friends and family, such a gem rental. The wood fireplace was the perfect way to settle down at night in the cabin style accommodation. We used basically all of the supplied amenities and they all worked great. The ease of the rental really helped us have a wonderful weekend on Vashon. 5/5.

  • A gem on Vashon and a great place to relax and disconnect!

    Jess2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This airbnb was PERFECT for a quiet getaway from Seattle. Vashon Island is beautiful - and this property was amazing. The studio was cozy and had everything we needed for a quiet night, from a wood-fired stove to a very comfortable bed. Being able to walk to the beaches and lighthouse from the studio was a highlight. Can't wait to return.

  • Such a wonderful, and peaceful place to stay. My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend getaway and we will definitely be back

An inviting charmer in the heart of walking friendly Fremont. 900 sq. ft. newly remodeled with all new appliances. A great front porch for relaxing in the open air, full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry room, wifi and 55 inch TV. Queen and Full bed. Convenient access to PCC (groceries) and dozens of restaurants and bars all within a few blocks. For the full Guidebook with categories of local attractions including addresses visit; https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20137424/Guidebook
The house was built in 1900 and has been in my family for almost 60 years. It has a beautiful light-filled bay window that overlooks the street and gets great afternoon sunshine. The front porch has been expanded to allow groups of 4-5 people to sit and enjoy interacting with the active neighborhood street. Within 2-3 blocks of the house the neighborhood has an extensive collection of art, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, music venues, grocery store, and an elementary school with newly remodeled playground, and Theo Chocolate Factory offers delicious tours daily. Greenlake is an easy mile and a half walk away - just walk to the Woodland park zoo (1 mile) then across upper Woodland Park to the lake.
Two of the more popular attractions in the neighborhood are the large statue of Lenin and the Troll Sculpture. Both of which are within about 3 blocks of the house. Like the rest of Seattle I really enjoy morning coffee at one of the local coffee shops. Cafe Ladro is my favorite, but Fremont Coffee has a great homey feel and you can always find Starbucks, but Milstead is a wonderful local alternative. In the evening I enjoy happy hours at Fremont Brewery, Shawn O’Donnells, Norm’s (dog friendly) or the Red Door. If I’m in the mood for live music The High Dive and Nectar have a great selection of bands playing nightly.
  • Perfect location for a family, walking distance to bars/restaurants. Close enough to gas works park for the lil ones. 10/10

  • Check in and check out was easy, and the house was clean and in a great location!

  • Jim's place was perfect for our family. It was comfortable and close to everything! We had fun playing games and watching TV. Jim provided a very extensive guide of different places to see and things to do in the area. We will most definitely come back!

    Kimberly2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic. I could not have asked for a better location. My co-worker and I stayed here for a few days. My favorite things: - Within easy walking distance to the PCC Fremont Co-op. We walked there get groceries and food from the hot bar when we weren't going to restaurants. If you want restaurants there are SO many within walking distance. - Close to the Burke-Gilman greenway. We went for a run there every day. - COFFEE was provided! This is so important to an addict like me. - I don't usually watch TV on vacation, but we had a long rainy day and it was such a pleasure to relax and watch Netflix on the couch with MAGIC RECLINING BUTTONS!!! So great. - I also appreciated that there was a place for compost and recycling. Yay! - It was generally a quiet and comfortable spot. Perfect for what we needed. Thanks again!!

    Kate2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jim was an excellent host. His responses to questions were prompt, kind, and accommodating. His home is exactly as described: beautiful, clean, convenient. Thanks so much Jim! We would definitely stay here again.

    Ashley2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The house is awesome. Jim is great. Stocked with everything we needed. Clean. Easy check-in.

    Ray2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure Jim’s place is perfect! The location allows you to relax and not have to drive anywhere when you want to get food, drink, coffee, enjoy shopping, or meeting up with friends. It truly is a sweet treasure of a place in Fremont. Jim puts a lot of extra touches from the quality of towels, to even the grade of toilet paper. The little things matter and this place has all the best little touches. Thank you Jim!

There is a system error on Airbnb that lists this as 5 bed. This is a studio guest house with one bathroom. NOT 5 beds. Experience this recently remodeled private tiny home (250 sf). Private entrance home has a queen-sized bed, a kitchenette with sink, water heater, fridge, microwave, and a fully functional bathroom with standing shower. Please review details below of space before booking. It is indeed a private entrance tiny house, attached to green house where the cohost, Jenny, lives.
This 250 sf home is gray with a white door. There is a sign in front of the home that says “Seattle Tiny Home”. This private entrance small house is located in the back away from the main street. Parking is in front of the tiny house in the back yard as well. You will need to walk through the side driveway and into the back yard where this tiny house sits. Tiny house is a separate private space but attached to the back green home. Private entrance with keypad, queen-sized bed, a kitchenette with sink, water heater, fridge, microwave, and a fully functional bathroom with standing shower. Please note this tiny home has a ceiling height of 6 feet 10 inches from the right that slants to 6 feet to the left. The lowest part is where bed is and where you’ll be sitting at the table, so height should still be comfortable. Please make sure you are comfortable with the height of this home before booking. We don’t want you to be unhappy when you arrive if you’re too tall!
Burien is a 100-year-old community with a rich heritage, a friendly community with well-established neighborhoods and a small-town atmosphere. There’s no tv and the wi-fi can be spotty but if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and stay for a short time this is it. Very clean and check in and check out is a breeze! Definitely would stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

Our A-frame is settled in the private cabin community of Timber Lane Village just minutes from Steven's Pass ski resort and some of the best hiking spots in the central cascades.
FULL DISCLOSURE: Our cabin community is just off highway 2 (as are most of the communities in the area). You can see from our reviews that most guests find our place quiet and only a couple have complained about the highway noise. We just want to point this out for full disclosure :-) We also charge a cleaning fee which is typical for the area. It's a necessary fee as we are remote and all laundry, garbage, etc. all has to be taken off site. Thank you for understanding. We've removed the $100 security deposit to help offset the initial cost of a reservation. This 1100 sq ft A-frame is settled in the private cabin community of Timber Lane Village boasting the closest cabin location (with electricity) to Steven's Pass Ski Resort. Whether you're skiing in the winter or hiking/mountain biking/fishing in the summer, this cabin is right where you want to be. This classic A-frame is the perfect retreat for guests looking for a home away from home with easy access to the slopes. We also provide maps for our guests that want to venture out on hiking trails. Tye Haus is surrounded by some of the best hikes in the Pacific Northwest. Inside the Timber Lane Village community, trails lead to a private community beach on the South Fork of the Skykomish with new picnic tables and barbecues and offer picturesque views of the river and surrounding forests. The cabin is fully furnished with 2 beds in the upper loft and 1 really comfortable full size day bed in the living room. All of the comforters and pillows are down along with high thread count comfortable linens. The kitchen is fully furnished with enough dishes and utensils. Other amenities include a 32" Smart TV downstairs (Netflix, Amazon Video, etc.) with a DVD player, high speed wireless internet, board games, a great collection of cult classics and some children's movies on DVD (about 100 movies), and a hot tub just off the new deck. We have a 2-day minimum on weekends and only 1-day on weekdays. 3-day weekends have a 3-day minimum requirement and are subject to higher rates. Please inquire for holiday rates.
The cabin community is one of the best walks you'll take this year. Easy stroll, without any hills. Lots of beach access points and cool cabins to check out!
  • Super clean, great location, very quiet/private and so homey!

    Ellen2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent retreat from the city buzz

    Kent2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool place! It's a classic mountain A-frame with all of the character that comes with it. Tom's updated the important stuff and the rest is pretty rough. A perfect compromise and a true mountain experience. The beds/pillows were super comfy, the hot tub and fireplace worked great, the internet was decent, and the rest doesn't really matter does it? :) It rained non-stop while we were here but it was perfect for just staying in. I would highly recommend it to anyone! (Well except for maybe folks with very young kids...too many hazards). Tom is a great communicator and offers tons of resources for things to do, hikes, etc. A perfect host!

    Steve2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was the highlight of our trip! It was super cozy and close to the hot springs! It was so lovely waking up in the morning and seeing the snow trickling down outside. We had such a great experience and will definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. Also - our Instagram photos were on point! Thank you for the memories!

    Charlie2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great holiday at Tom’s place. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He even let us know that the house was ready early and that we could check out a few hours late. He was beyond kind when I had to add a guest and a dog last minute. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. The place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The fire place was my favorite! The neighborhood is very conveniently located. We spent time skiing at Stevens pass, Leavenworth , and Skykomish. I’d stay at Tom’s again in the future!

    Caitlin2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Tom's Tye Haus was a great place for us to escape to and get away for several days. The cabin was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. We brought groceries on the way, and Tom's cabin had everything we needed to make meals and coffee. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were clean. We spent the majority of the time sitting on the couches and watching TV or reading by the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again given the chance. The one thing to note is that the windows do not give much privacy, but this should be expected based on pictures.

    Matthew2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing cabin with such a great atmosphere. Great amenities. Lots of helpful info about the area and things to do. Nearby highway was not noisy at all. Perfect to share with family and a pet. Look forward to returning!

Voted as a Top 10 coolest AirBnB rental in Seattle by Curbed Magazine! My houseboat includes an amazing location, a beautiful interior, a kayak to explore Lake Union, and much more! We have completed the rooftop deck that adds amazing views . It’s a perfect spot to relax or host others and enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the scenery. See also my other property the yacht on the lake called the Sharon Lee for rent in my profile (click on the profile pic)
There's a lot that makes this a great place to stay. It's such a relaxing place to be. You'll love laying on the bed or the couch and looking out onto the water as you slowly realize you are floating! There's custom bamboo flooring as well as a custom kitchen. For entertainment there's a 40 inch mounted TV with Netflix accounts ready to go. There's also WiFi and surround sound speakers for movies or connecting to your smart phone/computer for music through Bluetooth. Another great perk is taking the kayak out from your deck to go adventuring on Lake Union. Lake Union has many restaurants, parks, and fun destinations that are close by. Please note there is an outdoor Arlo camera (can be turned off remotely during your stay, just message us) The Alro is pointed outside at the front door for security purposes. It does not see inside. That is the only camera and there are NO cameras inside or any other places.
This is such a prime spot. You are a short walk from the fastest growing spot in Seattle, South Lake Union. It's home to Amazon and many other tech companies along with restaurants, bars, and other amenities. You are about a 20 minute walk to The Space Needle and Seattle Center. You will be less than 5 minutes from Wallingford, University District, the Space Needle and Fremont. Less than 10 minutes to Downtown, both the sports stadiums, Belltown, and Ballard. It's a great location that has a very unique feel, friendly people on the dock and a exciting neighborhood to explore.
  • This was a great place to stay and we look forward to staying again next time we come to Seattle.

  • My husband and I needed a last minute Airbnb when his work conference in Bellevue was suddenly cancelled at the last minute. We saw the listing for Jason’s houseboat and thought it would be a new and interesting experience for us! The houseboat did not disappoint! Jason and Minh send you a youtube video to watch that made finding the boat and checking in a breeze!! Minh was great about responding to our messages right away. The houseboat was very clean and cozy. No problems with the power or WiFi at all. We stayed in early March and the heater kept us plenty warm. There is a TV with Netflix and the bed was so comfy that it was tempting to stay in bed all day! We took a lyft to get to most places. It was typically about $10 per ride. This was our first stay on a houseboat and would happily stay again!

    Aly2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time! Loved the kayaking adventure. Great location! Recommend bringing bikes!

Beautiful waterfront location. Your rental is the downstairs unit of a duplex located on Beach Drive in West Seattle. We are a mile from Alki Beach and Alki Avenue restaurants and shops.
There are stairs on the side of the house to the lower unit. Beach can be accessed from the deck. The kitchen has an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, keurig coffee maker with K-Cups, pots/pans, plates, glasses utensils. A charcoal BBQ is available for use on the deck.
Beach Drive is vibrant, but not as hectic as Alki Avenue. There are many restaurants and shops along Alki Avenue and up the hill on California Avenue. There are a few parks within walking distance, and the Seattle Waterfront is 20 minutes away.
  • Brian &Amara’s place is amazing. We were there in winter. The place was warm and cosy and the view amazing. We felt like we were on a cruise ship.Nothing was too much trouble for our host.Would recommend it strongly

  • We spent 4 days at this beautiful Airbnb to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The view of the Puget Sound was ah-maz-ing and one of my absolute favorite things to do was just sit and watch the water change from pink to blue to green to gray to orange and to black. There were seals and sea lions, all kinds of birds and ferries and tug boats going by. The main strip of Alki was an easy walk with lots of restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy. The place itself is fantastic. So clean and stocked with everything you might need to enjoy this little hideaway. If you are looking for an awesome little getaway, go here. You won't be disappointed.

The view was outstanding as well. It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city at night and come home to you quiet and quaint west Seattle. We hope to make another trip back in the summer for some hiking!

Conveniently located just blocks from downtown Ballard and an easy 15 minute bus ride from downtown, this quaint yet roomy space is perfect for out of town guests and vacationers. The 250 square foot space enjoys its own deck space and a brand new hot tub. French doors open to a private outdoor sitting area just for you. It has a mini kitchen with a 2-burner stove with a mini fridge, microwave, sink and kitchen essentials. This includes cooking supplies like pans, plates, oil, salt and pepper etc. We also have a Keirig Coffee Maker with a generous supply of K-Cups, light snacks and other thoughtful touches. The bath includes a shower with on-demand water and a supply of toiletries and towels for your use. There is a storage closet in the bath for clothes and extra linens. If you are staying longer than three days, I will provide fresh towels and linens for you upon request. The bedroom loft is cozy and features a double size bed. The ladder up to the loft is custom-made to retract from the wall for easy access. When it is not in use, it slides flush to the wall to allow for more room in the living space. The space is "cozy" so if you are tall or have issues with smaller spaces the loft sleeping area may not be the right fit. You must be able to climb a short ladder to get up and down so please be mindful of this when booking. There is a couch which allows for an extra person to sleep in the unit if you wish. There is a blow up Twin bed in the ottoman in sitting area. I also have a portable crib that you are welcome to use. Just let me know. I'm pretty strict about maxing out at 3 guests. Children under 8 are not allowed in the loft area for safety-sake. This rental Includes cable tv with HBO and other fun channels as well as access to wireless Internet. The overall look and feel of the space is what I call, "Modern Nautical". Ballard is an old fishing town that has become the culinary hot spot of Seattle. The colors and lighting fixtures give homage to Ballard's history. There is plenty of free off-street parking and access to one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle is just a short walk away! There are quite a few quick service/family run (no chains) restaurants within a block from the house along with a great fruit stand and espresso shop. Grocery and drug stores are within 5-7 blocks away. The bus stop to a main arterial is a 1/2 block away. A great bakery is only 2 blocks away. This is a great location for those of you vacationing without a rental car. Pretty much anything you need is less than a 10-15 minute walk away. Even if you have a rental car, you can leave it parked and just explore all the fun stuff in Ballard! We look forward to meeting you! -Errin & Olivia
Ballard is a great neighborhood with tons of bars and little restaurants. Just ask me and I'm happy to share some of my faves.
  • The mini home was amazing beyond expectation. We felt so at peace.. like it was our own home away from home. Errin was always quick with responses and willing to answer any questions we had. Having such a kind host, helped ease my anxiety about being in a new state for my vacation!! Will definitely be back again I hope!! I also wanted to add that the little kitchenette and bathroom was absolutely perfect as well. Loved to sit on the deck in the morning with a hot cup of coffee from the Keurig!!

  • Errin’s mini home was exactly what we expected! Cozy, modern, and just enough space for two of us. The hot tub was truly the highlight of our stay, and Errin was super quick to respond and so kind! Absolutely recommend this tiny home if traveling as a couple or alone!

Residents and business people alike love the convenience of Burien’s hub location and great connections.
